Highly recommend the 2 hour airboat ride with Captain Pete. He was informative and entertaining. We got to observe over 20 alligator babies that were only a few weeks old. I was initially concerned about the heat, but it was so comfortable when the boat was moving and don’t worry, you won’t get wet.

How you explore the Everglades matters to our team at Everglades River of Grass Adventures. Especially during this COVID-19 pandemic, we want our guests to be safe and stress-free. Our Captains and employees receive daily wellness checks to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free. All traffic areas, including seats, railings, and headsets, are sanitized before and after every ride. Hand sanitizer is available. Our captains wear buff face masks to protect them from the sun, wind, and bugs. We encourage our guests to wear them too. However, face masks are not required for our outdoor activities.

Departing from Port of the Islands Marina in Naples, this 45-foot passenger catamaran glides across the Faka Union Canal while guides share information about the history and ecology of the area. One person was airlifted to the hospital after two airboats collided in Broward County on Sunday.

Broward's Sheriff's Fire Rescue received a call about an airboat crash at Mack's Fish Camp around 10:30 a.m.

Firefighters and Air Rescue responded to the scene where they quickly located a man with injuries.

The patient sustained significant lacerations to the side of his body and was airlifted as a trauma alert to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, according to Fire Rescue officials.

The owner told NBC6 that airboats in that area all run in the same direction, and that the private boat was traveling the wrong way before colliding with the airboat tour.

A man on the private boat was ejected and later underwent surgery, while a family on the airboat tour sustained no injuries, the owner added.

The official cause of the crash has not been released.
