The hotel is nicely furnished. Minimalist and chic. The rooms are fairly large and well appointed. The front desk staff can be better trained for a W Hotel. The lounge was inactive with music and AC off when I went. The buffet dinner was alright nothing extraordinary. Overall nothing to complain much about. No nonsense transit hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights on the way to Shimla. The hotel has a fabulous ambience and clean and well maintained rooms. The food is just very good and the hotel has a nice swimming pool too. The room service can be a little more prompt but its not as bad. Was Happy and will surely stay or even recommend this hotel to all.

Excellent stuff at Aloft. Good food & service. Beautiful rooms. Enjoyed the buffet spread, especially the breakfast spread. Lobby is beautiful, good activity for kids, Chess, Billiard, Rocking Chairs. WXYZ Bar, good ambience.

Scheduling a trip to a place like Himachal Pradesh is all about picking the right time. Even though it is popularly considered a destination that one can visit anytime around the year, some experiences and activities are best enjoyed at a specific time. So, before looking into the available Himachal trip packages, make sure to go through the following pointers for detailed information on the season-wise tourism Himachal experience;

Himachal Pradesh in summer

In search of a holiday destination that can fit your summer getaway theme? Look no further than Himachal Pradesh. The summer season in the region starts around April and extends till June. The average temperature range throughout the season hovers between 5°C and 24°C. The weather stays pleasant through the daytime and colder during the nighttime. The soothing weather conditions paired with the beautiful forests, majestic hills and calm and cool mountain breeze make for an experience that tourists like to cherish. It is widely considered the best time for a Himachal tour. If you aim to visit and explore popular Himachal tourist places like Dalhousie, Dharamshala, Manali and Shimla, go with the summer months for your Himachal tour. Besides Himachal sightseeing, tourists can enjoy various adventure activities and participate in local festivals, like Maha Shivaratri, Baisakhi Festival, Doongri Festival, etc., during their Himachal Pradesh tour in summer. As it is a key time for tourism, consider booking Himachal trip packages, hotels, flights, etc., in advance. Get exciting deals on Himachal vacation packages for summer on Thomas Cook.

Himachal Pradesh in monsoon

The conclusion of summer marks the beginning of monsoon season in Himachal Pradesh. It extends from July to September, bringing a decent amount of rainfall to the state. The downpour is on the lighter side during early June but gets more frequent between July and mid-September. In general, monsoon leads to a number of issues that slow down tourism in Himachal Pradesh, such as landslides, floods, slippery roads, blockages, etc. On the other, this rainy season makes for the perfect time to witness the unbound natural glory of the region with rain-soaked townscapes. If you have scheduled your Himachal tour for monsoon, make sure to pack your rain gear and check weather forecasts before stepping out for sightseeing or exploration. Visit our website to find Himachal trip packages for the monsoon.

Himachal Pradesh in winter

If you are in for an experience of a lifetime then winter might be the best time to visit Himachal Pradesh . The winter season, as in most northern states of India, can get extremely cold, and the same story unfolds in Himachal Pradesh. The season usually starts in November and ends in March. The average temperature in the region hovers between 0°C to 13°C, often dropping below the freezing point in higher altitude regions during peak winter. Life Stories by Veena Patil

‘Exchange a coin and you make no difference but exchange a thought and you can change the world.’ Hi! I’m Veena Patil... Fortunate enough to have answered my calling some 35 years ago and content enough to be in this business of delivering happiness almost all my life. Tourism indeed moulds you into a minimalist... Memories are probably our only possession. And memories are all about sharing experiences, ideas and thoughts. Life is simple, but it becomes easy when we share. Places and people are two things that interest me the most. While places have taken care of themselves, here’s my podcast, which I consider to be a great platform, through which I can share some interesting stories I live and love on a daily basis with all you wonderful people out there. I hope you enjoy the journey... Let’s go, celebrate life!
