  • This form can only be used outdoors .
  • This form changes the druid into a stag if in land-restricted areas, a very fast bird in flying-enabled areas, and a seal in the water (which is immensely useful in Vashj'ir ).

Spell nature sleep

  • Your caster form will start regaining mana 5 seconds after you change to Travel Form.
  • Unlike a mount , which players cannot use while in combat, a druid is able to shift into travel form while fighting either a mob or another player if they choose to.
  • Travel Form is instantly cast, making it even better for those sticky situations. With Travel Form, druids are able to escape from nearly any fight or simply put distance between themselves and their attackers practically whenever they wish.
  • As with any form, you may harvest herbs through herbalism , and skin dead beasts through skinning . This makes it an excellent way to achieve the fastest results with a gathering profession.
  • The ground based travel form increases your speed by 100% when activated out of combat, and 40% when in combat or when in an arena or battleground. Previously it always increased speed by just 40%. Which speed you get depends on your combat status when you shapeshift.

Tips and tactics [ ]

  • This form is instant cast, so it can be used to beat a strategic retreat if a fight is going badly. However when used in combat you'll be considered land-restricted, even in flying-enabled zones, and so must wait until you're out of combat to use the flying form.
  • The travel form does not stack with speed enchants or speed gems, with the exception of the level 60 and 70 Feral PvP 4 piece set bonus.

Speculation [ ]

It was widely speculated that a stag model was intended to be implemented from day one but changed before release, explaining the odd hoof-shaped icon, and the fact that while the other forms had unique skins, this form looked identical to cheetahs in the game.

wow How to Get the Nightwing Raven Druid Form in Patch 9.1.5

By Stan , November 17, 2021 in News

Druid Ground travel Form - forced flight form in flying areas

Can we please, please, PLEASE split the flight and ground travel forms like it was before… Please…

Sometimes I don’t want to fly and would prefer to stay on the ground. Why was this choice ever taken away from us?

There is a way to do this, though. Go to Moonglade and in the inn is a merchant who sells a glyph that allows you to learn just stag form.

Because of the ability pruning, and the dumbing down of the game. Blizzard heard some casual players complain that there were too many buttons, and now they’re “fixing” it hard.

:deer:

Tome of the Wilds: Stag Form is what you’re looking for, sold by Lorelae Wintersong in Moonglade and Amurra Thistledew in the Dreamgrove

While we’re at it, can we please just transmog legendary weapons already?

Also may I ask why you didn’t check to see if it existed before whining?

What are you referring to? If you mean the artefact weapons from legion then come 9.0, they can be mogged separate from the forms. If you mean changing other weapons to legendries then that is already possible.

I know, I’m taking the mick. <3

Fair play if that’s your prerogative but nicer to be helpful isn’t it? Little things to improve what is quite a toxic community at the minute.

While that’s true, the forums has desensitised me to all that and like less than half of my posts are serious because I can’t take a lot of people here seriously. Not referring to you or OP btw.

It’s a sad state of affairs really but don’t drag yourself down with the rest. Be the difference.

Awesome, I didn’t know that existed. Thanks… But, I prefer the cheetah, is there one for that too?

Yes, you can buy the glyph from AH I believe to change your stag into a cheatah, also one to turn into a doe.

I’ve been a Druid main for around 10 years, how has this got past me unnoticed?

Druids and their 1st world problems…

All of the druid’s forms both old ones and new ones can be acquired through Glyph’s made by Inscription I suggest you buy and hold on to them though and use them after the patch coming “soon” as then it becomes permanently learned appearance in the barber shop rather than a spell amendment.

You are whining as always, you didn’t give advice to buy Glyph of Stag, you started whining, man, you won’t be taken seriously, never.

:joy_cat:

As facetious as it often sounds, suggesting people reroll when they complain about class complexity (not performance, survivability, etc), is not a bad thing. I like that some classes have more things to press than others. It’s nice having a hunter alt that I can not play for 6 weeks and still pick up and use because it only has 4 buttons anyway.

Welcome to Skill Capped’s Guide on the Best Macros for Feral Druids in Cataclysm

All sections for Feral Druid PvP have been divided into corresponding sections for the most optimal race, talents, glyphs, gear, professions and macros. This will help you have a good understanding on Feral Druid in PvP for Cataclysm, the strengths and weaknesses associated with this specialization, and help you conquer the arena. This section will guide you through all important macros for Feral Druid that will enhance and optimize your gameplay to the fullest potential.

A new expansion offers new possibilities to learn different information that has been added, changed, or removed in the game. Our Skill Capped Guide will provide you with that information at ease through our specialized premium courses. Consult with the best PvP players with years of PvP competitive experience. They will teach you how to be ahead of the composition. Sign up today to get a 10% discount and jumpstart your Cataclysm PvP climb with a +400 rating guarantee.

Table of Contents

Entangling roots, faerie fire, skull bash macro, bear form macros, damage macros, stampeding roar macro, travel form, cancel-form macro, focus macros.

First off, you will want to use these focus macros to optimize your gameplay. These will be used for controlling and stopping your enemies quicker and smoother.

Arena (1,2,3) Macros

Arena 1-2-3 macros will optimize your speed the most when you use abilities on enemy players. As long as you have the keybind space for these macros, it is recommended to include and use these macros in PvP content.

This macro uses Skull Bash on your target when in Bear Form or Cat Form .

These macros will allow you to shift into Bear Form and utilize your exclusive Bear Form abilities in a smoother way. This will include a macro for Bash , Feral Charge , and Frenzied Regeneration .

These will be your damage macros, which will assist you in optimizing your damage rotation. This will include using your major offensive spells with Vicious Gladiator’s Badge of Conquest , allowing you to have stronger snapshotted bleed effects on your enemies.

Having this macro makes it easier to apply Stampeding Roar for yourself and nearby allies, as this macro will use Enrage to provide enough Rage for this ability to be used. Using this effectively can assist with uptime on your targets, or to avoid danger.

Shifting Macros

To increase your mobility, power-shifting macros are essential to remove snares off of your character. The more important power shifting macros are Travel Form and Cat Form , but can create a Bear Form power shift if you have enough keybind space.

Having a cancel-form macro can be used as a safety precaution when shifting forms, since double pressing your power-shifting macros will prevent you from staying in human form.

Anduin Should Become The First Human Druid

And human travel form should be a fox.

I reckon that should be the Vulpera travel form.

Humans should turn into horses.

An acceptable alternative!

Well some folks that play the game will enjoy that a lot more than others

They do have that brotherhood of the horse.

druid travel form wow

Kul Tirans are human…and they can be druids…

Worgen are human…and they can be druids…

I don’t think it’s possible to be the “first” when there are already so many.

OP meant Stormwind humans, as you folks well know.

He could be the first priest-paladin-druid hybrid with the ability to wear a mix of cloth, leather, and plate and wield every ability every class offers.

“Flight” form should just be a wing clipped cage raised chicken.

I would like anduin to die and be raised as an undead, and then a long quest chain to find out if he can still lead the alliance while gaining the perspective of the horde.

:weary:

As heavy land mammals, cows can only run in short bursts. They can’t really travel long distances running like that, and so they aren’t appropriate for travel form.

Maybe Bear form though… Zandalari Druids got a lizard for Bear Form. It’s possible…

:stuck_out_tongue:

Restoration Druid Leveling Guide - Remix: Mists of Pandaria

Restoration druid leveling in remix: mists of pandaria, restoration druid leveling tips for remix: mists of pandaria.

  • The Druid class in general is one of the fastest in the game, and this will be even more true in Remix where you'll get to combine our already ridiculous mobility with a suite of extra movement speed increases. Bind Travel Form and Dash (a cat form ability). We'll also talent into some mobility in our class tree.
  • Most our levelling rotation will be instant cast. This gives the spec a really nice flow but it takes a few levels to grab all of our base abilities.
  • You will get into the habit of putting DoTs like Moonfire and Sunfire on as many targets as possible, and using your healing spells like Lifebloom and Rejuvention in order to tank the damage. You'll be amazed at how many mobs you can fight at once!

Best Restoration Druid Talent Builds for Leveling in Remix: Mists of Pandaria

  • It's really important we grab Sunfire and it's extension node as soon as possible because these will speed up our leveling speed by a lot. After you have those grab Wild Growth (mostly for dungeons and pathing), and then Nurturing Instinct . Note that while we picked up Starfire , we won't cast it.
  • Now that we have some essentials we'll go down the left side of the tree and grab the two key Cat Form abilities: Rake and Rip . This also lets us path to Feline Swiftness which is very nice while questing. Grab a few other essentials in blue. Some of these are just pathing nodes for later.
  • Our tier 1 and 2 green nodes are quite low value here so feel free to place them elsewhere if you'd like. We just need them to get to the bottom of the tree. Once you've unlocked the third tier, grab Lycara's Blessing as soon as possible. It's an excellent node. You can choose which order you grab your capstones but I'd recommend pathing to Heart of the Wild first, Nature's Vigil second, and then grabbing Well-Honed Instincts last to round out your tree.
  • Grab Lifebloom and Ysera's Gift with your first two points, then fill out the start of the tree - heading toward Cenarion Ward first.
  • Pick up other essentials in the area like Grove Tending , Efflorescence , Ironbark and Waking Dream . The order isn't too important. Grove Guardians are very central to the kit and can be cast in Cat Form so it can be worth going for that node as early as possible - so long as you don't mind another button on your bar. The other blue nodes can be taken in any order and mostly just set us up to grab what we want in the third section of the tree.
  • In the final section of the tree grab Convoke the Spirits -> Adaptive Swarm -> Flourish first. The first two are mixed damage and healing buttons which are very nice when questing. Flourish will mostly see play in dungeons or raids but is very important to our playstyle so it's worth practicing with it as early as possible. If you are DPSing in Cat Form a lot then grab Spring Blossoms -> Master Shapeshifter next. You can fill in the last few nodes in any order.

Restoration Druid Leveling Rotation in Remix: Mists of Pandaria

Restoration druid leveling rotation.

  • If you intend on pulling a few mobs at once, put a Rejuvenation on yourself before you pull (or just after before any enemies reach you).
  • Pull mobs with Moonfire or Sunfire (learned early in your talent tree). Generally you'll use Moonfire if they're single enemies and Sunfire if they're right next to each other.
  • Continue to DoT the enemies until they all have Moonfire and Sunfire on them. If you used Moonfire to pull them toward you then use Sunfire when they're all grouped up. Most of your damage will come from these two DoTs.
  • While the DoTs tick them down, you can use Lifebloom or Rejuvenation on yourself to stay healthy.
  • In single target scenarios you can go into Cat Form and cast Rake , Shred and Ferocious Bite on the target for extra damage. This takes a bit of getting used to but adds quite a bit of DPS and it's a playstyle you'll use a lot in dungeons at max level so it's worth practicing it now.
  • If you'd prefer not to use Cat Form , you can cast Solar Wrath instead once all enemies have Moonfire and Sunfire on them.

Restoration Druid Dungeon and Scenario Rotation

  • In dungeons you won't need to worry about your DPS spells as much since you'll focus much more on healing. It's still quite wise though, to Sunfire packs of mobs since it adds a lot of damage for a minimal time investment.
  • Put Lifebloom on the tank and try and maintain it through most of the dungeon. If they need more healing then use Rejuvenation and Regrowth to help top them out.
  • Wild Growth is both your most powerful and most efficient healing button. It's also available very often and you can use it to cover most group damage. If more than one target is injured you're usually best just using Wild Growth instead of casting multiple single target heals. If one person in particular is taking a ton of damage (like a DPS standing in puddles) then use Regrowth or Ironbark to keep them safe.
  • It's usually best to keep Efflorescence down under the group if you're expecting them to take significant damage. Levelling dungeons often move quite quickly though and you might find it unnecessary.
  • If you get some downtime, cast Moonfire on a few mobs, refresh Lifebloom on the tank, or refresh Sunfire . You can also prepare for upcoming damage by putting Rejuvenation on the party but you shouldn't need to do this too often.
