I think All World Travel in ABQ. New Mexico and Deborah are amazing, we used them for planning a trip to Italy and Deborah was very professional and helpful and very good about being availiable when we had many questions. She has good connections with many airlines and services. I have referred others to her and would definitely use Deborah and All World again..

All World Travel and especially Deborah Terracino are the best. Oh, the good old days when you could obtain help from a travel agent. Those days were in my past until I ran into Deborah. She has been terrific in following through on travel plans and making suggestions for future trips. I was lucky to have met Deborah when I was invited to join friends on an African Safari. It was all last minute but she completed my addition to the group in less than 15 minutes and it ended up being the trip of a lifetime. Icing on the cake is that I continue to work with her. She is a fantastic travel agent that I now call a friend. Thanks Deb

We have used three different travel Agencies and All World travel is the best. We will never use another.They are very Experienced and care about our safety Also.

What a joke. I contacted them about domestic air travel. They said they would email me their details about flight information and connections. They did not. The lady I talked with was laughing when I hung up.

We have booked several trips over the years through All World Travel and have been very pleased with the level of service and the great followthrough with any issue that might arise. On a recent trip to Christmas market in Germany, our flights were canceled due to snow. AWT got involved and got us re-routed through Iceland to get us home. We were very grateful that we had All World Travel , Deborah and Paula Kay to work with the airlines to make it happen. Keep up the good work.

Messed up my cruise package booking - they said go ahead and get the package while on board and they will fix it. They didn't, ignored emails while on board and no one called or respond other than to say sorry after we returned I asked to speak to management and still no one called.

Stary Oskol - Overview

Stary Oskol is a city in Russia located in the Belgorod region, standing on the banks of the Oskol River, about 142 km northeast of Belgorod, 632 km south of Moscow.

The population of Stary Oskol is about 222,600 (2022), the area - 134 sq. km.

History of stary oskol.

In 1300, there was a village called Ugly on the the territory of the present city. Today, it is one of the districts of Stary Oskol. At that time, the village was part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and was a border crossing point on the border with the Golden Horde.

The settlement of Oskol was founded by Russian Tsar Fyodor Ioanovich’s order (Ivan’s the Terrible son) to protect the southern borders of the Russian kingdom in 1593. The bulk of the population were peasants and the military.

In 1617, the town was burned by the Poles. In 1625, 1642 and 1677, the Crimean Tatars approached Stary Oskol, but could not capture it. The town was renamed Stary Oskol (meaning Old Oskol) in 1655, when the town of Tsaryov-Alexeyev, located down the river, was renamed Novy Oskol (New Oskol). Fortifications of the town existed until the 18th century.

More Historical Facts…

Gradually, Stary Oskol turned into peaceful, commercial and merchant town - the center of an agricultural district. Industrial production was represented mainly by enterprises on processing agricultural products.

In 1780, the town got its coat of arms. In 1784, Stary Oskol like most Russian towns of that time was rebuilt according to a new plan signed by Empress Catherine II. A large number of brick houses were built, mostly two-story buildings. The historic center of Stary Oskol has been preserved to our time.

In the second half of the 19th century, the town had a wide network of schools, libraries, reading rooms, printing, secondary schools. In 1894, construction of the railway began, trade and industry began to develop rapidly.

Until the 1930s, there were eleven Orthodox churches in Stary Oskol. During the Second World War, Stary Oskol was occupied by the Germans from July 2, 1942 to February 5, 1943. In 1954, the city became part of the newly formed Belgorod region.

In the late 1960s - early 1970s, in connection with the active development of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly (the most powerful iron ore basin in the world), Stary Oskol became a major center of iron and steel industry.

Stary Oskol was declared a city of three top-priority Komsomol construction projects. The largest enterprises: Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Plant, Stoilensky Mining and Processing Plant, Oskolsky Electrometallurgical Plant became not only the city-forming enterprises, but also the largest industrial enterprises of the country. Stary Oskol experienced a new birth.

Today, Stary Oskol is a rapidly developing city, one of the leading mining and metallurgical centers of Russia.

Stary Oskol - Features

The coat of arms of Stary Oskol is a shield divided in half diagonally, in the red field there is a rifle, in the green field - a golden plow. It reflects both military and agricultural importance of the town.

Stary Oskol is among Russian cities with the youngest population. The average age of its citizens is about 35 years. The main reason lies in the history of the city. In the second half of the 20th century, a large number of members of the Young Communist League came to Stary Oskol to participate in the construction of large industrial enterprises.

Unique reserves of iron ore, developed industry and infrastructure, high scientific, technical and industrial potential, fertile land form the basis of Stary Oskol economy.

The main branches of local industry are mining, ferrous metallurgy, machine building and metalworking, building materials, food industry. There are more than 140 large and medium industrial enterprises, which employ more than 80 thousand people.

Attractions of Stary Oskol

The city has more than a dozen Orthodox churches and chapels. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (Tokareva Street, 4/1) is the main church of Stary Oskol. St. Trinity Church (Bolshevistskaya Street, 17/15), built in 1730, is the oldest church in the city.

The Zoo was opened in Stary Oskol in 2008. Bears, lions, tigers, monkeys, wolves, camels, ostriches, and other species of birds and animals live there.

Museum of Local Lore (Lenina Street, 50). The museums, founded in 1923, has exhibitions about the history of Stary Oskol. It is located in a building which is a monument of history and culture of the 19th century once owned by the merchants and brothers Likhutins.

The museum organizes tours of the city and the area including visits to an ancient Russian settlement of Kholki, an underground monastery in Melovy mountains, and a biosphere reserve “Yamskaya steppe”.

Art Museum (Lenina Street, 57). The collection of local masters of folk clay toys (O.M.Goncharova and N.M.Goncharova) is a real pearl of the museum. Stary Oskol folk clay toys production was known from the end of the 18th century.

House Museum of Vasily Yeroshenko (Yeroshenko Street, 15). Yeroshenko’s life is a living legend for blind people not only in Russia but also abroad. He encourages disabled people, supports them with his talent, helps them on their ways to improve techniques. Yeroshenko spoke 12 foreign languages and was the professor of universities in Tokyo and Beijing, he became a classic of Japan literature for children.

Update 2: Bloomberg reports that a Verizon customer service representative who was contacted from the UK on Thursday said that it's an ongoing issue that engineers are working to address.

Update 3: The multi-network outage is related to issues at international connection partner Syniverse , according to a person familiar with the situation. The company says the estimated time of restoration is 12 hours up to 24 hours.

I'm always curious with issues like this, do people seriously think that a vendor is just going to sit around and not work on the problem? While their networks aren't as robust as they like us to think, they are going to resolve these issues if nothing else to avoid government hassling them for causing an outage.

This screwed me so bad yesterday in Mexico City. Carrier left us out to dry. I’m leaving Verizon over this. What I went through yesterday when this randomly happened in a random neighborhood of CDMX I will never forgive this company for.

There are only a handful of airlines that provide their most premium passengers with a chauffeur service. In Europe, Lufthansa leads the way; in Asia, it is Air China; and in the Middle East, Etihad and Emirates have delighted their customers with this service. Around the end of last year, Emirates resumed chauffeur services at Tokyo Haneda. But how does the chauffeur service at this world’s largest A380 operator take place? Let’s find out.

Which Airlines Provide Premium Passengers With Chauffeur Transfers?

Eligibility for emirates chauffeur services.

Accessibility to Emirates Chauffeur Drive depends on a number of factors, such as where you’re headed, how you booked your journey, in which class you are seated, and the flight number on your ticket.

The following is a list of people eligible for Emirates' Chauffeur-drive services:

Emirates iO

iO is a secret, exclusive tier of Emirates . The members of this class (which is known as invitation only), irrespective of the class they are traveling in, will have a Chauffeur-drive service.

Emirates business class and first class passengers

Emirates business class and first class passengers can have chauffeur services as long as they are booked on an EK flight number. However, such passengers who are on a journey solely between the following destinations won’t be able to access the service:

• Between Australia and New Zealand
• Flights booked using frequent flier points

The airline states that the Chauffeur‑drive service “ is not available in a city when there is also a rail or bus service on the Emirates ticket for that city.” So, once you qualify for the chauffeur services, what perks do you exactly get? Let’s dive in deeper.

Picking up and dropping you

The details of the Emirates chauffeur ride depend on factors such as whether you are:

• Being driven from or to the airport
• In Dubai or at an outstation.

When you're requesting the chauffeur services, you have a say over how long before departure you’d like to be picked up. If you’ve made an advanced booking, the chauffeur service company will confirm all the details with you.

If you want to use a chauffeur service at an airport after a flight, you can find the chauffeur at the driver's service office in the arrival hall. There might be outstations without an office too. Nonetheless, drivers will be waiting in the arrival hall.

Third-party suppliers provide chauffeur driving services offered by Emirates, and the carrier mentions :

Emirates is not responsible for any agreed transactions between the passengers and the Chauffeurdrive service provider, for the acts or omissions of such suppliers, or for any deficiency in the facilities and services offered. In particular, Emirates has no liability for loss, personal injury, or death incurred during the use of such facilities and services unless such loss, personal injury or death is / are caused solely by Emirates' negligence.

The driver will only wait for 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time.

Heres where the chauffeur services will not be available in

As already discussed above, the Chauffeur-drive services aren’t available everywhere or to everyone. Emirates has laid out where, when, or to whom these services will not be available:

To minors unaccompanied in the car by a parent or guardian. On complimentary tickets or complimentary upgrades from Economy Class to Business Class. In conjunction with Skywards Business and First Class Classic Rewards and Economy to Business Class Upgrades On reward tickets booked via Emirates Skywards airline partners for travel on Emirates. In cities where the passenger is in transit (i.e. where there is less than 24 hours between connecting flights).

A few of the other terms and conditions highlighted by Emirates

Chauffeur services are only available for adult passengers. Additional charges will apply if an infant/ child car seat is needed or if you need a larger vehicle. A sedan can accommodate a maximum of 4 passengers (with “a total luggage limit of 2 suitcases plus one carry-on bag”).

The model of the vehicle used will depend on availability. If you want to travel beyond the mileage limit, you can do so if you pay an extra fee. The option of paying the extra fee for the chauffeur on collection isn't available in most cities, so you must ensure it is done before your journey starts.
