Star Trek Fleet Command Jellyfish Parts Mission Guide

The Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC) Jellyfish is a scout ship from another dimension. In the Star Trek world, it is said to have been piloted by Ambassador Spock on his mission to save Romulus.

The Jellyfish is a hugely powerful ship that low-level and higher-level players can use. It does not have a shipyard requirement; in theory, it can be built from level 1.

The Jellyfish can be purchased via an in-app purchase (around £65 at the time of writing), or you can grind away at missions to acquire enough blueprints to start construction. If you don't fancy spending £65 for the in-app purchase, here is a complete list of all the missions and events that give the required 75 blueprint parts for the Jellyfish.

Star Trek Fleet Command Jellyfish Parts Mission Guide

The first mission can be found in a low-level system, which you are sent to during the storyline missions. You will be sent to scout out several systems to relocate your base. One of these will have a mission called "Corsair", which for me was in the level 10 system "Jobuy". This gives the first five parts for the Jellyfish. In this mission, you are required to locate and destroy the Corsair leader. The target is a 1927-strength interceptor. Upon completing this mission, you will get your first 5 Jellyfish parts.

STFC Mission Stop the Corsair

For the next missions, head to Rigel, as almost all the planets have missions with Jellyfish parts. Just note that some missions can only be accepted upon completion of other missions.

From Rigel, you can use the table below, which lists all the Star Trek Fleet Command Jellyfish missions, systems and planets in which you can find the rest of the 25 Jellyfish parts from missions.

Other parts can be obtained from rare events, such as "Mirror, Mirror" and "Broken Mirror".

Star Trek Fleet Command Jellyfish Parts Mission Guide

Other events from which the Jellyfish parts can be obtained include the "Domination" events if you are high enough but below level 20.

You can buy 25 or 75 parts from the store during events. These costs are £19.99 and £64.99 at the time of writing.

Hi, Just began playing game 4-5 months ago. completed missions and acquired 23 Jelly BP (Build Parts) then after working hard at an event. Got 50 more Jelly (Build Parts) Then Back tracked looking for any I missed and went over Level 20. Now, Even Systems at Lower levels that I have never visited now show on every Mission Planet (Mission 0) meaning they are no longer there? Not, that I already did it. Because it's Not lit up White Star Shine yet. So I Never Visited. If there were any Jelly Build Plans still there, you can not go look for them any more. This is pretty disappointing. Shows me the depth of the way the game will get you somewhere close to 98% complete on purpose, then use this as a psychological pressure to get you to spend money. If you actually got the Jelly you were just in the Lucky 2% my friend. I am 73/75. Unless another event pops up I have no chance. I have Spent small money but that was before this, think now I have resolve to Never Spend.

Worked through the missions listed and only received 23 Jellyfish blue prints for some reason. There was a Mar 21 event where I could buy 25 bp with the event currency, but that only took me up to 48. The Mirror Mirror mission was available, but, disappointingly it provided no blue prints. Even if I buy 25 with real world money, I will still be short by two. Scopely have obviously done their maths on these events and deals. I'm patient...I will wait until the next event comes around, if the game survives that long.

They must have "tweaked" the mission reward as I was able to get all blueprints without spending real money. I'm really not surprised that they did this. I actually gave up playing as there was too much focus on in app purchases, some of which other players then steal from you.

On Monday 14th of June 2021, boss replied

well or play 6 hours a day to get 24 hours of shields where you must be online minimal 3-4 times a day to start the shield 4 hours without a shield and offline will be your downfall.

Good evening Tim, Wait a minute what do you mean by players steal from you. Can please elaborate?

When you are not logged in and someone attacks your station they will take a large chunk of resources that you need for upgrades - resources that you may have obtained via in app purchase. To prevent this you must also have shields - another in app purchase.

Where to Find Jellyfish Parts Missions in Star Trek Fleet Command

Ever since Star Trek Fleet Command launched on mobile late last year, the developers have been adding new ships to get in the game. Here’s everything you need to know about where to find Jellyfish parts missions in Star Trek Fleet Command .

What the Jellyfish Is & How to Get It

The Jellyfish is a scout ship that’s from another dimension. In the Star Trek world, it is said to have been piloted by Ambassador Spock on his mission to save Romulus.

Getting it in the mobile game is pretty tough, though. You need 75 Jellyfish parts blueprints to get it, which requires a lot of exploring.

The first and easiest way to get parts is by buying them with real-world currency from the in-game store when they’re available. They should come in cycles, so check back for them if they’re not there.

If you don’t want to wait for them to return, or don’t want to spend real-world money, you can find them by completing missions that are littered throughout the game’s many systems.

Where to Find Missions in Star Trek Fleet Command

Jellyfish parts blueprints aren’t common at all, but you’ll likely come across them by simply heading out to explore certain systems. Getting all 75 is where the challenge is. It does help to be a high level so that you can complete the higher level missions, which makes sense since the ship is Rare and quite powerful.

There are a few good places to head out to to check for missions that offer parts as rewards. You should go to The Rigel System, where you’ll likely find missions on most planets or The Romulus Empire for high-level missions. Trekcommander.space also has a good list of missions that you’ll get parts from.

The rotating Monthly and Station events in Star Trek Fleet Command may also offer Jellyfish Parts for completing them, but the resource numbers you need are often very high.

In short, if you’re not willing to pay for parts, getting all 75 you need will take a lot of grinding and exploring.

That’s everything you need to know about where to find Jellyfish parts missions in Star Trek Fleet Command . For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite .

Carnac's Guide to Star Trek Fleet Command

The Original Jellyfish

Carnac | August 11, 2020 July 6, 2020 | Independent Ship , Ships

The Jellyfish is the dominant ship of the early game. It’s faster and stronger than just about any ship in the early game. In the first few months after the game was launched, this was the ship that was terrorizing everyone who didn’t have one.

Using Your Jellyfish

Its Ship Ability is “Pilot Recognition.” This increases the effectiveness of its Captain Maneuver by 15%. So pretty much any crew setup you can imagine will be more effective. This makes it great with a Klaa speed crew, or with a Morale crew, or with the Starfleet Academy crew against hostiles. My biggest use for this ship was in harvesting OP resources and materials, which made it much easier to advance in levels from 18 to about 23.

It’s got two energy weapons that it fires in each round. And it’s quick. One of the ways you win a lot of PvP battles in STFC is by picking your battles. It starts out with an impulse speed of 110, which is fast for an Explorer.  With the Klaa crew, I can get it my Jellyfish’s speed up to 175. With the Pan crew, I can get it to 204.  This will vary based on synergy, but still, that’s quick.

I’d wake up at between 5 and 6, and just run a quick circuit around lower Federation space, and upper indy space, and get at least 200k in op Tritanium. This doesn’t seem like much now when I can fill my Antares up with nine times that much in one scoop, but at the time, that was enough to upgrade a ship or start new research.

It’s not much of a base cracker, the North Star is far better in that department, but at level 15, if you find a juicy enough base, and you’re willing to foot the repairs, you can break a base with it.

It’s also been coming up a lot lately in the Live Target Practice event.

The Cost of Owning A Jellyfish

To give you some context, we’ll compare the Jellyfish with the other Explorer you can build at level 12 – the Turas. As you can see, the Jellyfish is going to cost you about four times as much Tritanium, and three times as much Dilithium. It’s also about twice as expensive in uncommon and common gas.

But… if you use your Jellyfish as an OP raider, and time it correctly, it should pay for itself in terms of in-game resources fairly quickly.

And of course, when it comes to performance, the Jellyfish blows the Turas away. I’ve maxed out a Jellyfish, and a Turas for comparison. Your numbers will differ for mine due to officers, and research and station upgrade levels – but the principle is the same.

The Jellyfish is much, much stronger, and has a better warp range.

How to Get A Jellyfish

You’ll need 75 Blueprints and a level 12 shipyard to build a Jellyfish. You can get 21 Blueprints from regular missions. Jellyfish blueprints are available in events from time to time. It’s also available for purchase. If you’re serious about advancing in the game quickly, this is a purchase you can justify making. It’s not all super expensive, and you will get a lot of use out of it.

Blueprint Missions

star trek fleet command jellyfish event

The Jellyfish debuted in Star Trek (2009) as the ship that Ambassador Spock used to try to save Romulus from the Supernova that destroyed that planet and later used by his Kelvin-universe counterpart to defeat Nero and the Narada.

It was launched in 2387 by the Vulcan Science Academy, and according to the comic book “ Star Trek: Countdown ,” it was designed with the help of Geordi LaForge.

The ship was not given a name in the film, but it was named as the  Jellyfish  in the script, in which it was described as “a unique-looking spacecraft.”  [1]  Concept artist  Ryan Church  envisaged the ship as having a transparent exterior, based on the actual translucent appearance of a  jellyfish . Comic book artist  Bryan Hitch  contributed to the final shape of the ship, taking inspiration from a  gyroscope . Church had another idea, of the ship being a cube of pure energy to emphasize its roots in Vulcan science, but  J.J. Abrams  felt the ship had to have “as much character as  Leonard Nimoy  had in his face”. Visual effects supervisor  Roger Guyett  stated that production designer  Scott Chambliss  envisaged the ship’s exterior surface as “sophisticated technology married with organic things”. “It might even be a technology Vulcans’ ‘grow’, like a plant of high tensile steel.” Guyett also said the ship’s  warp signature  was intended to evoke clean “green” energy, in contrast to the “burned dirty fuel” aesthetic of the  Narada . ISS Jellyfish

Sourcing blueprints, iss jellyfish brawl, uss constellation skin.

The Jellyfish is not the strongest ship in the game, but is extremely important to progression in the game. There is an event that does not show up until you get the Jellyfish which rewards a pile of 4* materials, making it extremely important, especially at 39 to source these materials you wouldn't be able to get otherwise.

There are three ways to get Jellyfish blueprints. The first and easiest is from Epic Armada Chests. It shows up in these chests once you hit Ops 36, and from Ops 38 there is a chance, albeit tiny, to get a full pull from these chests.

The second way comes in a 3* spend event SLB. The rewards for this are based on server age, so each server has different rewards, sometimes awarding several full Jellyfish BP drops in the top places, sometimes only have first place giving a full drop. The lower places get partial pulls of blueprints.

The last way is if your alliance has 3* territory. These territories have the ISS Jellyfish Constructor as a a service. Level 39 players will be able to purchase blueprints once a week from this.

As territory research is so strong, until you're deep in the tree it will be hard to choose Jelly BPs over research, but that is a decision that you need to personally make.

You must kill 50 ships with the Jellyfish in one of three systems:

+50% to the ability of ISS Jellyfish against hostiles.

How to Get the Jellyfish for Free in Star Trek Fleet Command

Image of Erin O’Gorman

At first, synonymizing the name Jellyfish with Star Trek would make someone think it’s some kind of rare alien specimen. However, it’s not that and is in fact very far from being so. The Jellyfish is a ship, but not just any ship. It is in fact, the very ship that Spock once used to prevent the destruction of Romulus as well as one of the best ships in the game . Now it can be yours in Star Trek Fleet Command. This is how to get the Jellyfish for free in Star Trek Fleet Command.

What The Jellyfish Does

RELATED: How to Attack Other Players in Star Trek Fleet Command

Now, you really could take a shortcut and purchase the parts, but why do that when you can get them completely free? With a lot of grinding and a little patience, you can get the Jellyfish parts without spending a single cent of real-life currency.

The Jellyfish inside the shipyard in Star Trek Fleet Command.

To be able to build the Jellyfish, you’ll a shipyard that is at least level 12. This high-tech ship was meant to be used for scientific research, so don’t expect anything too offensive or defensive out of it. It will, however, increase the effectiveness of its Captain Maneuver by 15 percent.

How To Get The Jellyfish Parts

Like with most ships, you need blueprints to build the Jellyfish. Fortunately, you can get most of them for free. You get 25 blueprints for completing the Jellyfish missions. You need 75 in total to complete the Jellyfish, so you have to get 50 more from other missions. These can be collected by playing through the game and completing tasks.

You can also sometimes get them by participating in special events. The event shops also sometimes have parts that you can buy with the in-game currency. Do be aware that not all events will have the parts. Therefore, it might take a while to grind out the completion for the Jellyfish, but it is certainly worth it.

Now that you know how to find the parts, you can complete the Jellyfish and save your money!

The ISS Jellyfish is a testament to the technological prowess of the Terran Empire. Wil Wheaton Reacts To Playable Wesley Crusher In Star Trek Fleet Command

Star trek actor compares working with william shatner & patrick stewart, every star trek ship with an illegal cloaking device, quick links, every active star trek fleet command code, how to redeem codes for star trek fleet command, where to find new (& updated) star trek fleet command codes.

Star Trek Fleet Command is offering more free rewards through active codes in July 2024, allowing you to upgrade your collection of space-faring ships. Those who wish to explore strange new worlds will want to redeem these limited-time earnings fast before they expire. Free currency, new leaders, and more can be claimed to help your fleet go boldly where no one has ever gone before.

Many elements of this game can be broken down into experience and resources for you to pay attention to. Leveling up Officers and collecting valuable items used to upgrade your fleet are the core gameplay loops you'll want to focus on. Gathering new leaders, such as the iconic Captain Picard in Star Trek Fleet Command , will also help your crew grow in size and strength to face the galaxy's dangers.

Actor Wil Wheaton spoke on his Star Trek: The New Generation character's inclusion in mobile game Star Trek Fleet Command, and he couldn't be happier.

Make Sure To Meet Prerequisites To Claim Rewards

As of this time of writing, five available active codes are being offered for Star Trek Fleet Command that have not expired yet. This could be subject to change at any time as developers make continuous updates throughout July 2024 and beyond. Try to redeem codes quickly to ensure you gain their benefits before they stop working in the coming weeks when many events and adjustments could take place.

Unlike many popular released gacha games right now, Star Trek Fleet Command has level requirements you have to meet before claiming certain rewards from codes . Although some phrases don't have any prerequisites, some require your Operations Level (OP) to be a certain amount before you can redeem a code. Other mechanics in the game also begin to unlock once you meet different progression OP Levels.

Many of the items being offered in July 2024's batch of free code rewards can also be purchased through the in-game shop for real-world money. However, try using up all the free items you earn first before considering this option.

OP Levels are relatively easy to increase as you simply play the game and meet certain requirements. Even before you grind out the required levels, you can use the Ultra Recruit Tokens to summon a Commander to help bring order to your growing fleet. These powerful characters usually take a tedious amount of time to unlock, so take advantage of this reward as early as you can.

Finish The Tutorial And Follow The Right Menus

Those who've collected earnings from codes in June 2024 for Star Trek Fleet Command may remember that you have to finish the game's tutorial before you can start claiming anything . This process will teach you many game mechanics, such as how to build your fleet and upgrade Officers. This tutorial will also teach first-time players many details about the in-game menus, including the ones you use to redeem codes.

As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Rev Deuce , navigating the UI of Star Trek Fleet Command is essential to understanding where to go to redeem codes. When you finish the tutorial, go to the Lobby main menu to see various icons and options. From here, select the "Claim" button in the upper right section of your screen , which looks like a green chest icon.

This will take you to a separate menu where you now see the "Redeem Code" prompt on the new page. Select this option to pull up a text box where you can input a code without any grammatical errors to start receiving offered rewards. Any mistakes in spacing or capitalization could cause a code not to work, so be careful copying the codes listed above and double-check them as they appear in the text box.

A good example of a code that is tricky to input is "NX-01." If the letters are not capitalized and the dash is not included with zero spaces, the code will fail to work as you try and redeem it.

Once you are certain a code has been put in right, press the "Redeem" button to start claiming rewards , which should show up immediately through an in-game notification. If a code does not work, check and see if it has expired or if you made a spelling mistake. Codes can only be used once per account , preventing you from stacking the rewards being offered into unlimited resources.

Follow Social Media Accounts For Updates

The best way to find out about new codes is to follow the social media accounts of the developers , such as the Official Facebook Page or X Account . The money earned from Star Trek Fleet Command allowed the developers to make regular updates and new content throughout the game's life cycle. This has kept the social media sites active with communication about new codes becoming available at regular intervals.

The Website for the game also gets updated to include when important events are taking place. While you may not learn when codes become active or expire through the website, you can use it to predict when new rewards will be offered in the future. For example, an event that centers around an iconic character being added to the game may signal a code being made available for upgrade items related to that figure.

You can also play through the game to meet daily objectives and weekly challenges to earn resources usually offered in codes fast. Spending in-game currency from codes fast is always recommended, but you can easily lack funds fast from doing this. Gaining more money to open chests through in-game activities is a great way to earn rewards without having to bust open your wallet.

Do not conserve items you receive through codes, as instant upgrades will help unlock more options for your fleet the moment you use them. Those who redeem all the active codes for July 2024 in Star Trek Fleet Command will have a much easier time growing in strength if they find a way to spend their earnings quickly on important improvements.
