I came to Journeys at Bridgewater to return a pair of combat boots I bought for my daughter for Christmas . I paid $100.00 for them and both heels fell off. I called the 800 # and Tom told me I could just bring them back to any Journeys store for a replacement or a refund no questions asked. I walked into the Journeys store in Bridgewater and I was pleasantly surprised when I spoke to Kyle behind the desk. He immediately replaced the boots, he even changed the color, no questions asked! I mean it took less then 5 minutes! Now that's customer service at it's best! I thanked him. Kyle apologized for my trouble and out the door I went! It couldn't have been easier!! Kyle and all of the staff at Journeys were all extremely friendly and couldn't have been nicer! I will definitely be back to shop for more cool shoes and cute socks, and so should you!!

The new combat boots that were replaced!

I was dying and i mean dying! For these old school checkered red vans and Ashley found me a pair in the jersey city journeys and got them shipped to the closest mall to me. In and out in under 10. Ashley you rock!

I went into journeys yesterday on my birthday. I left in a horrible mood. I went in interested in buying a pair of converse and had my fiancee with me as well. We were cheerfully greeted by two young women who work there. It was a nice energy. Just wanting to look around, one of the girls started asking me all types of questions. I had no real idea of what I wanted yet. She went into full detail about the converse shoes. Good info, but I wish they would have stopped there. They asked if I wanted to try any on, so I asked for the white pair in size 8. I browsed some vans, and before really digesting what I had seen and liked, the girl came back with not 1 pair but FOUR pairs of shoes. One was converse and they were out of my style and color. I tried it on for size but didn't like what they had to offer. The other three pairs were vans. None were the style I had looked at, some hideous slip on with star holes in them. I wanted to vomit. I tried them on to be polite, and before I even got my foot out, the other saleswoman came over with 3 different kinds of socks. How can I think about buying socks if I don't even know what shoes I'm getting? She spits out all this info about the different socks and I couldn't react with anything but a nod. It was all happening so fast. They must have mainlined caffeine that day because BAM the other girl came back with a pair of flip flops! I didn't even look at flip flops! In fact I was wearing a pair of my own that were in perfect condition. Next thing I know she goes on a rant about the material and colors of these sandals. At this point I am almost hyperventilating. I'm 5 months pregnant and I get stressed and emotional easy. I'm not one to tell people to stop doing their job, but these girls were completely overselling and pushed me right out the door. I told them we would look elsewhere and left as fast as I could. I couldn't deal with the pressure they were putting me under, and the fact that I didn't even get to think about what I wanted because they were practically throwing products at me. It was the worst retail experience of my entire life. I know what a sales job entails but that was overkill. I later went into zumiez where I walked over to the shoe section with no one bombarding me. I picked out a lovely pair of docs, asked the employee for my size. She brought it out and informed me they had a buy one get one half off Sale. She left me alone. I found a pair of high top vans and asked her for a pair. She laced them for me. We then purchased both pairs. They were laid back and made me feel comfortable, and I almost wanted to hug them for the way they dealt with my purchase. I nearly cried after leaving journeys and it really upset me on my birthday. The manager needs to change up the way they deal with customers there because it drove me right out the door. Never going back, EVER!!!

Journey to Moscow

The, official announcement that President Nixon will visit Moscow in May ends speculation that the Moscow visit might be aborted either because of Soviet suspicions born of the Nixon trip to Peking or the complications attendant on ratification of West Germany's treaties with Moscow and Warsaw.

Whatever the timing of events has done to put Mr. Nixon's Moscow trip in the shade of his Peking experience, the journey to Moscow will be no less historic. No American President has ever been there during his tenure in office; and, in substantive terms, the immediate fruits of the Kremlin negotiations are likely to be greater than those in Peking. At a minimum some agreement limiting strategic weapons is likely to be signed Moscow; there is also reasonable possibility of progress on other matters, notably trade and cultural exchange.

In a formal sense, the Nixon visit will be a return of the journey which. Premier Nikita S. Khrushchev made in September 1959 as President Eisenhower's guest. The Soviet leader traveled widely through the United States, visiting Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Des Moines and New York City, among other cities. He was given abundant opportunity to get his ideas across to the American people, including a formal address carried live via television and radio. It will he interesting to see whether now, more than a decade later, President Nixon will have similar opportunities to communicate with the Soviet people.
