The trip is an exciting whirlwind of fun, learning and growing, all packed into a single outing.

Click this link or go to  https://www.indianaec.org/programs/youth/youth-tour/ to apply.

Youth Programs

Noble REMC awards three $1,000 scholarships annually to help area students further their education at an accredited college or trade school of their choice.

The Indiana Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., each June is a great way for local high school juniors to learn more about our government and electric cooperatives, as well as develop leadership skills and lifetime friendships.

The annual Camp Kilowatt (formerly known as Touchstone Energy Camp) blends traditional camp activities – like archery, arts and crafts, and canoeing – with educational sessions about electrification, electrical safety and understanding the cooperative business principles and the environment. The camp is available for local students in sixth grade.

Cooperative Calendar of Student Art Contest

Indiana students – kindergarten through 12th grade – are encouraged to “be part of a gallery of art” by entering the annual Cooperative Calendar of Student Art Contest sponsored by Indiana's Electric Cooperatives, including your local electric cooperative, Noble REMC.

4-H Voucher Program

The first 200 youth who enroll in 4-H by Jan. 15 of the 4-H year, and whose families are Noble REMC electric customers, will have their 4-H program fee reimbursed by the REMC.

Electrical Safety Demonstrations

Noble REMC has a table top electrical safety demonstration to educate youth and adults alike on the importance of electrical safety.

Youth Power and Hope Awards

The Youth Power and Hope Award is presented to students in 5th-8th grades who are active leaders in their community and whose parents live on electric cooperative lines in Indiana. Being an active member in the community can mean anything from volunteering at your church to being involved with 4-H to helping support local hospitals or other community organizations.
