My husband and I just eloped here last week and we had the best experience ever. The staff is so warm, attentive and truly go above and beyond. Jada made our day completely stress free and helped bring our whole vision to life. Giuseppe and Pepito also made our time there super welcoming and wonderful. We had the honeymoon suite for two nights and rented the Luna Terrace for our ceremony, which was absolutely perfect! The view from the terrace is absolutely unmatched. We had the special dinner and cake for our elopement night and enjoyed 5 amazing courses from the chef on our private terrace, so romantic and magical! They also have a gorgeous pool and lounging area, meditation area, gym and spa options. Beware that the stairs up to the Villa are no joke but they do offer car services up to the top as an option. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer… Highly recommend Villa Magia if you want a one of a kind experience and stay. Thank you all for an unforgettable stay! The service we received from the staff here far exceeded our expectations and was by far the best we experienced across our two weeks in Italy. They went above and beyond and were so welcoming. We loved breakfast and lunch here, but are so disappointed we didn't have the time to experience dinner at Luna on the terrace. I could not get over the view from the pool or dinning terrace. It’s hard to shine in positano given all the superlatives it deserves. Our family with 2 young children stayed this past week and felt pampered from start to finish. Upon arrival, guests are issued a personal cell phone with direct 24/7 access to a concierge that handles literally everything. Transfers, reservations, food, general questions…really anything. Requests are answered courteously within minutes. I have never seen anything approaching this level of service in all my travels. The staff are congenial, cheerful, and discrete. The property is perched on top of positano with fantastic views of the town and coasts. Luna, the on-site restaurant, was one of the best meals I’ve had on the entire trip and likely over the past year including a gastronomic tour of nyc recently. The hotel is beautiful, the suites are lovely, the view is amazing, and the staff is world class. But my wife and I were "blind sided" by how difficult it was to access the hotel. Too many stairs! [I know, I know. It is Positano, so expect lots of stairs.] However, there are only 2 ways to get to the hotel - from the lower road (10-minute walk to town) it is 190 stairs up to the hotel. From the upper road (a taxi or bus to town) it is 90 stairs down to the hotel. Imagine showing up at a hotel in NYC that is spectacular, has great views, and terrific service only to find out that it is a 13-story "walk up". Ouch. Our strategy was to walk down the 13 flights of stairs and then walk 10 minutes to town. To get back we took a 30-euro taxi from town to the upper road access and walked down the 8 flights of stairs to the hotel. It was workable, but really forced us to "strategize" our day. Strolling back and forth from hotel to town was not an option. The reviews that say it is a "short walk" to town are very, very misleading. If you are mobility challenged in any way, this is not the hotel for you. The stairs are rocky, hundreds of years old, with no handrails in many spots. Again, the hotel and staff were great. And, if you are a fitness junkie, the workout might suit you well. But other than that, just be prepared. Read more Written 5 May 2023

Our room had a breath taking view of Positano and the sea. It is in a truly stunning location. Everything had been thought of to make this room like a home from home. We had dinner at the hotel which was magical outside overlooking the coastline and the twinkling lights of Positano. This is truly a heavenly place to stay. From the minute you walk up to the villa with its jasmine trees making the air smell even more sweet you are blown away by the beauty of its views and terraces. Every detail has been thought out and we have rarely stayed in a place that has thought of everything that you might need! We stayed in the family villa and had the most delicious breakfasts on our private terrace, which was truly MAGICAL! The rooms were pristine with gorgeous decorations and amenities. Do yourself a favor and get a room with a sea view...you will be so happy every time you look out the window. Their restaurant Luna is incredible with gourmet and fresh dishes served on the stunning terrace. The location is stunning and quiet and a little set away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, with easy access to town right outside the doors. The staff are just beyond professional. Each and every staff member made us feel welcome and special. They go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible...and it was! STAY HERE and be so happy with your stay in Positano! Getting to the Meeting Point

Your private driver, Antonio, will meet you at the marina in Amalfi with his cherry red 1972 Fiat 500. Antonio is quick to reply to messages and the location is easy to find.

The Experience:  Fiat 500 Tour of the Amalfi Coast

The experience began as we departed the marina in Amalfi and headed along SS163 in the direction of Positano. Antonio provided me with a history of the area and I got to know him better. A few stops were made on the side of the road (when it was wide and possible) to take photos. He was able to park in a driveway just beyond a bridge to allow me to walk down a steep staircase carved into the stone to see Fiordo di Furore. Set within the cliffs, this secluded beach and swimming area is only accessible by those stairs or by boat. We continued along our way, again stopping at beautiful spots where Antonio took as many photos and videos for me as I wanted. The ride was breathtaking…almost literally as we dodged buses flying around bends in the middle of the road. It's not exactly made for bad backseat drivers, but don’t worry, Antonio is a pro when it comes to driving! When we arrived in Positano, everybody stopped to gaze at the Fiat, typically with jaws dropped, as we cruised by. Antonio parked the car and I was able to wander around for 45 minutes. I walked down to the beach, grabbed a gelato, and did some people watching before meeting him back at the car.

On the way back to Amalfi, we made a few more stops for some scenic photos, which were getting more and more beautiful as the sun began to set. We even stopped at a curve and took photos with the well-known fruit vendor, Salvatore. This 3 hour excursion flew by and I arrived in Amalfi just as the sun was disappearing. I left with tons of photos and videos, but more importantly, with a wonderful experience and memories that will last a lifetime.
