B Bakery Bus Tour: The Best Afternoon Tea Tour in London

B Bakery bus tour - Best afternoon tea tour London - Inside Bus

All aboard! Hold onto your glass. It’s the Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea bus tour. Enjoy London’s iconic sites from the comfort of a beautifully restored 1960s vintage double decker bus with a glass of Prosecco in hand and scrumptious scones in the belly. Nom nom!

Whether you live in London like me, are visiting for the first or umpteenth time, joining a B Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus London Tour is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with friends or family.

The Brigit’s Bakery specialises in Afternoon Tea. But they take things a step further so you can actually pick where you want it. Choose from dining in their luxury bakery in Covent Garden, cruising along the thames on a B Boat Tour or hopping aboard a B Afternoon Tea Bus London Tour –  like I did.

But that’s not all.

Brigit’s Bakery also provide themed Afternoon Tea tours, from Gin to Halloween. With Christmas around the corner, I was invited to join their Christmassy Afternoon Tea.

Here’s everything you need to know about Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea bus tour.

What to expect on a Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea bus tour?

On the day of the tour, head to the Victoria Coach Station where the tour departs. I recommend you aim to arrive roughly 20-30 minutes before departure as to allow plenty of time to get your name checked off the list and settle into your seat.

When you board the bus, you’ll be led to your table which you chose at the time of booking. Seating is available upstairs or downstairs so book early if you know you want to sit up the top.  All tables are already arranged and beautifully dressed and on each seat you’ll find your own tote bag of goodies. No spoilers!

Shortly after everyone is seated, the tour leader will give a welcome message while the servers come around to fill up your glass with Prosecco.

It’s time to depart. Off we go!

For the next hour and a half you’ll drive through the heart of London passing by iconic landmarks and historical buildings with soft background music. As you approach each attraction, the music is briefly interrupted with an audio commentary.

Keep an eye out the window to see Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St James’s Park, Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall, Marble Arch, Nelson’s Column, and Downing Street just to mention a few.

For Christmas Afternoon Tea I was on, the B Bus Tour followed a unique route along Regent’s Street so we could see the beautiful Christmas Lights.

Throughout the tour, our glasses were constantly topped up without us needing to ask. Roughly half-way through the tour, after most of us had finished eating the savoury food, the servers came around with warm scones with clotted cream and took our tea orders.

By the end of the tour I was feeling a little tipsy, but very content.  We were each given a little fold up cardboard box to take any left over cakes and sandwiches home.

Once back at Victoria Coach station, anyone who hadn’t ordered tea on board were each gifted a lovely Brigits Bakery themed travel mug to take home. I received mine earlier with my order for a Lemon and Ginger tea. With a few more snaps outside of the bus, the B Afternoon Tea Bus was sadly over.

Who is the B Afternoon Tea Bus London Tour for?

Unfortunately, their tours aren’t suitable for accessible patrons and children under 5 are not allowed on board.

Do I recommend joining a B Bus Tour?

Essential tour tips

  • Let them know your dietary requirements – Are you vegan,  follow a gluten free or Halal diet? No problem. Just let the servers know and they’ll provide you with diet friendly sandwiches.
  • Hold onto your glass – I wasn’t kidding when I said to hold onto your glass. The ride can be bumpy at times and the London traffic can be unpredictable with sudden stops so hold onto your class of bubbly to avoid and sudden accidents.
  • Got to the toilet before you board – There are no toilet facilities on board so make sure you use the restrooms either at Victoria Station (these are free) or at Victoria Coach Station (costs 30p) before departing.
  • There’s not a lot of wiggle room – Remember, this is a vintage bus so it’s going to be quite cosy inside. There’s not a lot of space either, so leave any bulky items and shopping bags at home. There is space under your seat but just enough for a handbag or small rucksack.
  • Allow plenty of time to arrive – If you’re not familiar with the Victoria area, be sure to allow an extra 5-7 minutes to walk to the Victoria Coach Station which is completely separate from Victoria Train Station.
  • Flexible departure times – The B Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus London Tour has multiple departure times. For example, there are five daily departures for the Christmas Afternoon Tea Tour at 12:00, 12:30, 14:30, 15:00, 17:00 & 17:30. The tours at 17:00 & 17:30 are the ones that will take your along Regent’s Street to see the Christmas lights.
  • Limited seating –  There might be plenty of departure times but each bus can only dine up to 28 guests. So if you want a spot on the top deck, book early to avoid disappointment .

Many thanks to the Brigit’s Bakery for providing me with a complimentary tour. They did not request a review nor a favourable one, and all opinions here are, as always, my own.

I rarely write about Central or West London; nearly all of my previous posts about London  have been about my beloved East, where I live. I get the occasional email about things to do in London and I always feel a bit lost on what to recommend, especially if the person writing has never been to the Big Smoke before. While people want to find out about lesser-known places like Broadway Market  and the Early Morning Rave , let’s face it: London has some of the greatest sightseeing spots in the world, from Buckingham Palace to Big Ben to Trafalgar Square.

It also has some of the best selections of afternoon tea.

Last month, when the Expedia Pioneer for the UK, Kelly, was just beginning her travels, she began in London. You may or may not know that I also work on that project as the Community Manager. I decided to join her, along with my colleagues Jose and Fabienne, for BB Bakery’s Afternoon Tea Bus Tour . Simply put, it is a double-decker bus tour of Central London… where you get to have a delicious afternoon tea.

BB Bus London 2

I was a bit skeptical at first; how good can it be if it is served on a moving bus? And won’t I get hot tea splashed all over me? This would also be the first time I was having a proper afternoon tea in London, and at £45 per person, I wanted to get my money’s worth. Afternoon tea usually costs that much in well-known establishments, however, and so I thought that partaking in one while sitting on a bus that drove past some of London’s best sightseeing spots was a very cool idea. Leaving at 12:30 and 3pm every day, I think it is a pretty fun thing to do whether as a London native or a tourist to the city.

BB Bus London 9

I also sometimes worry about tours – sometimes the tour guides talk too much, and there’s little chance to just enjoy the sights. On this occasion, I actually thought the guides didn’t talk  enough ; they didn’t point out any of the sights, or talk about London at all. They simply helped with the service, replenishing tea and water whenever needed. It’s up to you to look out the windows and discover the city. Because we were all familiar with London (despite only Kelly being from England, with the rest of us Canadian, French, and Spanish), this was actually quite nice; we were able to chat away, enjoy the food, and point out sights when we wanted to. If you are brand new to London, I still think there is some benefit here, as you can enjoy a cuppa while watching the city go by. Just be sure to follow the map!

BB Bus London 12

For my first afternoon tea in London, I have to say: it was absolutely delicious. The food was amazing, from the little sandwiches to the pastries and cakes. BB Bakery is known for having incredible sweets, and they certainly didn’t disappoint on the tour. As for my fear of spilling hot drinks, they served everything in ceramic cups with rubber lids, so there was no third-degree burns for souvenirs, thankfully.

BB Bus London 1

Overall, it is definitely a steep price if you are looking at a budget tour of London. However, if you’re willing to splash out a bit, I would definitely recommend the BB Bakery Bus Tour. The food alone is worth it, but bring a friend and enjoy watching one of the biggest and most fascinating cities from a double-decker bus.

This is so cute! I’ve been to London three times so I’d definitely give this a go. I like how the sandwiches are stacked like Jenga, haha.

I’ve never been to the bakery itself… but I would love to go after doing the tour, as the food was amazing. I hope you get to do the bus tour soon!

This is such a cute and British thing to do. I have never had a proper high tea before 😉

This experience came highly recommended and was something I wanted to do the other times I've been in London, but only now finally got around to doing, which was fortuitous since I had my 17-year-old daughter with me. We absolutely loved the whole thing. It was the perfect way to kick off our Eight days in London. I am an afternoon tea fanatic, and I love traveling so combining both things in one experience is perfect. The food was excellent and I loved the route that we took through London which gave my daughter a general idea of the layout in the area. Also, I have to give a huge shout out to the three people who took such outstanding care of us! Thank you, Svet, Anna, and Maria for making the experience even more wonderful with your care, knowledge, and friendliness!

So fun! You get to see all the popular spots while enjoying a scrumptious tea in an old school double decker bus. No air so beware. Our tour guide and waitress were adorable and so knowledgeable. Treats were delicious and got a souvenir coffee cup. Loved it

This experience was wonderful, for a one-time thing. You're on a beautiful double-decker, getting a tour of London's main sites while noming on some small bites & drinking tea (or other beverages). Overall, it was a nice way to spend a couple hours & you cant take pretty bomb pictures, but I don't think I would do it again. You can easily book your package online for your food & drink options (they have a lot) and also choose your seat (which floor, which booth specifically). Your drinks comes in one of those plastic cups (with a cap) & you get to keep it a the end of the tour. The staff on the bus were all super nice & very attentive. However, unfortunately, the bites were just okay. Not bad, but not impressive. It's a lot though! You'll definitely be full, & if you don't finish it, they can give you a box to take out. Moreover, it was kind of hard to hear the person announcing all the sites - more of a visual tour than anything.

My brother and his wife did this tour last year and kept raving about it, so of course I had to check it out for myself. We made sure to book well in advance to get a great seat on the upper level and at the very front. Wow, what a spectacular view! Despite the rain, we loved seeing all the sights from a vintage double-decker, and the tea and snacks were scrumptious. I made sure not to have breakfast before the tour (and I typically eat quite a bit), but at the end of the tour I was stuffed! The bus was well-maintained, the interior was clean and inviting, and our tourguides Coralie and Sarah were fantastic! Very knowledgeable and professional in every way. I would highly, highly recommend this amazing experience to everyone. You get to kill several birds with one stone: double-decker busride, guided tour of London's landmarks, afternoon high tea. Next time we're in London, we'll definitely check out other tours that the company offers.

bb bus tour

My family and I took the tea bus tour last month and overall...it was just okay. Service: The service is great, and everyone is very friendly. Ambiance: The bus itself is nicely decorated and is clean, but it was also FREEZING COLD. When I inquired about the heater I was told it was on as high as possible. Tour: Was just okay. It was difficult to hear some of the recording, and the information I did hear wasn't anything too fascinating. Food: The food is unimpressive at best. The tea is very heavy on the sugary aspects and light on the savory ones, so don't assume you can forgo lunch for this! Also, the quantity was lacking, especially for the price. And finally, while the tea selection was good, I was very disappointed to see they were making me instant coffee. For the price I definitely expected more than a packet of Nescafe (sp?). Overall: There are far more enjoyable, and affordable places to have a better afternoon tea. Save yourself the $$ and book a tea and then get on a Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour.

Dear Ameena, Firstly I would like to thank you for your message. Your comments are extremely important as they provide a motive for continuous improvement. We have taken note of your comments regarding our heater on board, after investigation it appeared that it was a misconnection between the panel control and the heating system. We do not advertise our tours as guided, the voiceover is experimental so we thank you for your feedback as it will help to improve the quality of our audio guide. Regarding the high tea, our menu is available online, we happily add extra sandwiches or anything else to your taste upon booking as we do not cook or bake on the bus. Thank you again for your feedback, we are delighted to read you enjoyed the service. Best regards, B Team

Save your money . In a nutshell because I don't review a lot . stifling hot bus - no AC , LOUD , saw zero major landmarks , it simply is not their route . We saw an apartment building where some employees lived . Food horrid . Also , we had one daughter Sick ( with urgent care ) note in hand and simply said , too bad , can't refund , can't change date , can't get credit " because we made the food already " - a roll with cream cheese . Sooooooo many other activities in London .

What a great way to tool around London and have high tea at the same time. Recommended to sit up top of the double-decker for best views. Was a gray misty day so we really enjoyed getting to see the sights and having a pretty authentic high tea experience. One can order glasses of bubbly if you desire otherwise tea and hot chocolate are replenished as often as one likes. The pastries were delicious. If I were to recommend a perfect group to do this with, it would be familes(children from about 8 up). The family sitting next to me was delighted, the kids at one table, parents at the other. All having a great time. A shout out to Misha, the guide, he was so accommodating and personable. Loved it, a bit touristy, but hey, that's what I am.

Pricey, but a nice way to tour the city. Tea and desserts were also lovely. Paying extra for an upper front seat is worth it for the better view. Book early!

bb bus tour

This was amazing. Really something for everyone. Afternoon tea and tons of good food. Prosecco. History and sightseeing. A vintage Routemaster. The driver even let me look under the hood at the end. You even get a souvenir commuter mug.

SO FUN! My husband and I went on the BB Afternoon Tea Bus Tour on our recent trip to London and we had a blast! I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for something special, memorable and fun to do in London. I liked this bus 100% more than any hop on hop off bus tour I've ever taken, plus you get tea and snacks! Our tour guides were fantastic, attentive and personable. We got to see all the sights from seats on top of a double decker iconic red bus while we sipped on our tea! My only complaint is that they clearly advertise Gluten Free and Dairy Free as options, but it's NOT Celiac friendly. That being said, they credited us for the price of food and told me to bring my own snacks to eat on board, which worked out fine in the end... it sucked to see all those cute pastries and goodies and not be able to eat any but I still had a blast.

BB Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour of London – Worth the Price?

Our last evening in London we took this unusual city tour – afternoon tea on a bus!

BB Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

The food was very yummy – five tea sandwiches and a tier of cakes for us both. They are served already before the tour departs, and the plates are suction cupped to the table in case the bus has sudden stops and starts.

bb bus tour

About 15 minutes into the tour a waitress came around and served us tea in these cute mugs – not the fancy china you’d get at the Ritz but a lot safer when you have boiling tea sloshing around on a moving bus! We even got to keep the mugs after the tour (this is only true for the last tour of each day, which luckily we were!).

bb bus tour

We munched away and watched the sites of London turn on their lights. It was not quite Christmas season yet, but Harrods was as festive as ever and was already completely decked out in lights! Driving by its twinkling lights and huge, iconic “Harrod’s” sign was one of my favorite parts of the tour.

bb bus tour

My companion was a bit less interested…

bb bus tour

Finally, I’ll also say that I was disappointed with the service. Even though I’d registered gluten free days before, they didn’t have enough GF scones left by the end of the day. So when every other passenger on the bus got served scones, cream, and jam, me and the other GF passengers just had to sit there. And we didn’t get a discount, an extra tea cake, or even an apology. Which in my opinion is pretty poor from a company that charges as much money as BB Bakery  did to start with.

Overall, a quirky and cute experience that I would recommend for any London tourists, although take it with a grain of salt!

That is so disappointing! I saw the title and got all excited, but I think I would prefer a proper tea with nice service and china…that’s all part of the afternoon tea experience, right?

I know it is, isn’t it! It was a really cool experience but the lack of a tour guide (and lack of SCONES!) really put a damper on it.

This makes me rather sad – both as a GF blogger and London wanderer!

I know 🙁 I still want to check out their restaurant in covent garden though, as the GF cakes that they DID have were quite good!

Oh wow, I did this during the daytime but your night photos are amazing! I’ve just shared my post on the vintage bus afternoon tea tour , I’d love to know your thoughts!

Just checked out your post – looks like you had a better time than I did, haha!

Headed over to this post from your most recent gluten-free afternoon tea post … I’ve always been curious about this tour but that’s pretty bad about the lack of scones for you, and no apology/discount either! Makes me think twice about booking, just out of principle …

Review of B-Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London

Pin for B Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

Having afternoon tea in London is always something I’ve wanted to check off my list! After loads of research, I was so excited to try the afternoon tea bus tour offered by Brigit’s Bakery. Not only did we get to have afternoon tea but also ride on a vintage double-decker bus all around London. Such a fun and exciting way to spend our first afternoon in the city!

bb bus tour

Booking Process & Cost

Booking online is super easy.

The process was easy and straightforward. Bookings are quickly completed online through the  company’s website.  During the booking process, you can select which table you’ll be sitting, which menu you require, or if you’d like any of their available add-ons such as champagne or a souvenir.

The traditional afternoon tea bus tour starts at £45 per person plus any additional items you decide to add on. We added on a half bottle of champagne for £28 extra.

Time to get on the Bus!

What a gorgeous vintage double-decker bus.

We chose Victoria Coach Station as our departure point. When you first arrive, check the screens by the main doors to see which gate the bus will depart. The bakery asks that you arrive twenty minutes before your scheduled departure time.

After a long day of travelling, we were excited to get going on the bus. But we ran into a bit of a speed bump when we didn’t board the bus for almost thirty minutes later than our scheduled departure time. We sat waiting for nearly forty-five minutes at the bus station waiting. And if you’ve ever been to Victoria Coach Station, I’m sure you’ll agree it’s not exactly somewhere you’d like to hang out. I was a bit annoyed.

Table with tea tray on B Bakery afternoon tea bus tour

Once we got on the bus, my mood quickly lifted. I was so pleased with everything I saw. The decor is so cute. I loved the retro look! The tables were set, and the food looked delicious! The tea tray was filled with tasty looking sandwiches, muffins, desserts and pastries all ready for us to dig in.

The Afternoon Tea Bus Tour Starts!

Here we go.

During the afternoon tea bus tour, you’ll cruise by some of the most famous tourist sites in London, such as the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, St.James Park, Harrods, and Westminster Abbey to name a few.

Bus Tour Route from B Bakery guidebook.

But if getting a tour of London is your main reason for booking this bus tour you may be disappointed. With the general ambient noise from the other guests chatting and eating plus the sounds of the bus and surrounding traffic, it was pretty hard to hear the tour all the time. If you are looking for an informative tour of London, I would not recommend the tea bus for this reason.

Once you’re whizzing through the crazy London traffic. Bouncing and bumping around on the bus, with the din of the other passengers. Plus, all the yummy food in front of you, the tour becomes the last thing on your mind

And you still do get to see some of the sights. For first-timers to London, the general splendour and craziness of the city are fascinating!

Food & Drinks

Tea Tray on B Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

Once the bus tour has started on its way, the staff stops by each table and takes your drink order. You can choose from a long list of teas, or if you’re not a tea drinker, they have coffee, cappuccino, lattes, hot chocolate and water. One of my favourite things was the spill-proof cup that they gave us our hot drink in (which we got to take home!).

Alcoholic drinks are available but must be pre-purchased when you complete your booking. They are unable to sell any alcohol during the bus tour, so if this is something you’d like, make sure to add it to your cart during your initial booking. We purchased a half bottle of champagne to drink during the trip. It was the perfect amount for us for the time available after we had our cup of tea.

Champagne on B Bakery afternoon tea bus tour

There were two staff members on board with us plus the bus driver. They were super friendly and accommodating. They were happy to provide us with tips and advice for travelling in London as well as just a friendly chat.

There are so many  different afternoon teas  available in London, so once we narrowed it down, it was pretty easy to choose this company on its uniqueness alone. The idea of having a tour of London while having tea sounded like a lot of fun! And it was!

  • The food was delicious, especially the desserts!
  • The staff was friendly and helpful.
  • The rush of the city passing by created a fun backdrop to our first British afternoon tea experience.

Our bus tour left Victoria Station and toured around the city for about an hour and a half, and we enjoyed every minute of it! I would do it again for sure and recommend it to anyone travelling to London!

The New Way to Afternoon Tea

The  BB Afternoon Tea Bus Tour  just SCREAMS millennial travel! Sightseeing on a Vintage Routemaster Bus while dining on delicate finger sandwiches and mini desserts for a traditional afternoon tea with a twist.

I actually have my beautiful Mum to thank for this one, since her search for a cool surprise for a trip to London resulted in finding the BB Afternoon Tea Bus Tour . At the time of booking this was a completely new experience, meaning an introductory price. While the price has increased since then, It’s still well worth the money and has expanded to a Gin Afternoon Tea , Thames Cruise Afternoon Tea , London Night Bus Tour and seasonally themed afternoon teas .

I’ll be the first to admit that often what seems like a game-changing experience is let down by teething problems or crappy service, but the BB Bus Tour did not disappoint – they literally thought of everything!

It’s the little things that count. Firstly, your choice of tea or coffee is served in beautifully illustrated ceramic flask with an red silicon lid rather than mug to avoid spillage. Secondly, at the time we boarded the flasks came with a suction cup on the bottom so it would stick to the table – genius.

Edit – having recently boarded the bus in Bath, they now have special holes within the table to hold your cup. The cups are now plastic and not ceramic.

Everybody loves cake! It’s hard not to flutter around with excitement like a child, first upon seeing the bus, and second taking your seats where your sweet and savoury treats await you upon expertly designed tables using the old bus seats. The mini lemon meringue pies were hands down the best lemon meringue’s I’ve ever tasted, even to this day as I write the review three years on!

Edit – the lemon meringue pies are still hella tasty, and if you’re boarding this in Bath you can buy larger versions of the cakes in the Bakery just 2 minutes walk from the departure point.

Bath’s B Bakery Afternoon Tea Tour Bus in Bath

Don’t Forget About the Views It’s easy to get lost in a sea of cake, sandwiches and tea but you’ll soon be reminded of the sights as you pass The London Eye, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St James’s Park, Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall, Marble Arch, Nelson’s Column, Downing Street and more with great on board commentary.

BBakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour Route

Don’t Be Late! At the time of our experience, the only departure was from 8 Northumberland Avenue, located off Trafalgar Square at 12:00 and 15:00 sharp! Today, departure is also available from Victoria Coach Station. The vintage route master bus leaves on time and is unlikely to wait around for stragglers so don’t be late, or do because the leftover food is distributed between the remaining passengers who did make it on time!

With prices from from £45 to £63 per person, it might seem a little steep but I can promise you it’s worth every penny. I love the experience, and I’m seriously considering doing it again!

Afternoon Tea On A London Bus With Bloggers

Sunday rolled on and as if by magic, London was beautifully bathed in glorious sunshine when giggling bloggers jumped on board the afternoon tea tour bus run by BB Bakery , some were so eager that they managed to get on the wrong BB Bakery tour bus(they were politely ushered off).

We were also in the good company of a dashing Tom from Thistle Hotels who was on hand to answer our questions we had about the hotel, most of which are in easy access to many of London’s tourist attractions.

So if you are heading over to London for business or pleasure then you have plenty to choose from. I didn’t even know they had that many Thistle Hotels dotted around the capital.

The Best Saved For Last

When we got on the bus I volunteered to connect my phone to the on-board speaker to add a little ambiance to the tour. Little did I know that I would be handsomely paid.

I started off with a little jazz by way of Brazil’s Belbel Gilbert before moving on to some more popular tunes. The popular tunes obviously had an effect on the girls because we soon realised that we had ourselves a Backstreet Boys tribute band on board as they started a duet.

As soon as I recognised the tune, I found it on Spotify no sooner than I got it on the speakers all hell broke loose. And they say volunteer work doesn’t pay! Don’t worry I got you front row seats to Britain’s Got Talent.

The video is below! You can thank me later. If Thistle Hotels want to have the entertainment to go with their Afternoon Teas, I am sure the girls wouldn’t object to an encore. You can bet I will be there too with camera in one hand and cake in the other.

Now this is the side of London I wanna see! Gonna definitely comb through all your posts when I plan a trip there, love your style of travel!

Awesome. I have plenty more to come so hopefully can offer some inspiration for your trip.

So fun! Your photos are so happy – cupcakes! – and the songburst to one of my favorite boy band tunes is an awesome top-off.

I know! I went to their concert when I finished my GSCEs and as you can imagine Wembly Stadium was packed with screaming girls(and a few guys am sure.)

Wow! I have been to London many many times but I haven't been to a tour like this! Sound like the perfect girls afternoon tea London has to offer. I love english tea so the combination sounds great!

It was a lovely little treat and one I would recommend for anyone visiting London.

This looks totally brilliant! I'm a sucker for a London afternoon tea but never had it in a bus before, next time!!!

Even for a Londoner like myself it was a first. Definitely a cool way to see London.

Ooh, so cute! This is one of the bakery afternoon tea London my friend has been raving about. All those little sweets! I'd love to do this too 🙂

Oooh I've heard about this, it looks fantastic (your photos are gorgeous too) Added to the bucket list 🙂 Simone http://www.theaussieflashpacker.com

B afternoon tea bus tour?!! I have been to London many times.. why have I never ward of this!!!??? Love it!!!

Wow, this is super cute! The photos are simply lovely! I need to visit!!!

This is great. Sometimes when we live somewhere we take it for granted and seeing it from another angle is the best way to keep it fresh. Looks like a wonderful day.

I am from the Caribbean island, Barbados, once a British colony. So we know about the tradition of afternoon tea, and it is nice, indeed. However, I have the chance to experience tea in the middle east and it is beyond beautiful. Particularly the presentation and simplicity.

Hello,It was such a great amount of fun in a vintage bus.Good approach to see a ton in not more than a few moments of time.,Truly delighted in the aide, entertaining and locks in.I would do it once more.Great approach to figure out where to go a what to see…if you have extra time.Have a nice day. **************** http://www.geinberg-suites.com

This is so cool I clearly I need to book afternoon tea in London when I am back. This is too cute a tea experience in london to be missed.

Yes, and one of the best London bus tour for kids as you get to explore London and also enjoy nibbles too.

Oh goodness, this sounds like a great girls afternoon tea in London! I have to add double-decker bus tours in London when I revisit in April

Nothing beats a girls tea party London routemasters. Definitely worth booking when you visit London in April.

Hey do you know if the tour also passes by the b and b bakery covent garden shop?

Hi, the tour we did passed by the b and b bakery in Knightsbridge and not the Covent Garden, I am not sure if their other bus do. Sorry I dont know this but you can check their website for an updated tour map.

I have been searching for a b bakery bus tour review and yours just stood out. Your pictures seriously make me want to book a tour so badly. I can’t wait to visit London this new year.

Haha, each time I look at the pictures I want to eat cake too lol

Do you have any tips on b bakery afternoon tea discount code Bee?

Hi Emmette, am afraid not. As I said above, this is a popular tour and one that doesn’t do discounts that often. Sorry.

Amazing pictures. I am adding the bb bakery afternoon tea bus tour in london when I visit in December!

Thanks! Yes, its such a cool treat!

I love your pictures and the little video! One of the best bb bakery afternoon tea bus review I have read in a while.

Aww thanks!

Hi do you know of any bb bakery afternoon tea bus discount for bookings?

Hi Lena, I am not aware of any discounts. Now and then in the quieter seasons they might do offers but as its a popular tour they dont tend to offer discounts that often.

This is actually useful, thanks.

Beautiful pictures. I love to do at least one afternoon tea in London I visit. I had no idea about this one of the bus. This is so cool!

New Buffalo Double Decker Bus Tour tells tale of Teddy Roosevelt's 'Unexpected Inauguration'

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Starting this Wednesday, people can experience a new double decker bus tour and witness all the sites of Buffalo history associated with the tragic assassination of President William McKinley and the quick, "unexpected inauguration" of his Bull Moose successor, Theodore Roosevelt.

The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site has teamed up with the Buffalo Double Decker Bus Tours to present an opportunity for history buffs to board a Leyland Olympian English double decker bus to view the historic locales in Buffalo that include where President William McKinley was shot and the estate where McKinley stayed during his ill-fated convalescence.

"To some extent, the bus tour covers the same story that we do in a tour of our museum, which is the story of President McKinley, his visit to Buffalo, his shooting and eventual death, and Roosevelt's inauguration here at the home, but it tells it from a different perspective," says Mark Lozo, education director of the Theodore Roosevelt Inauguration Site.

"The bus allows us to travel around to different parts of the city to see locations that are connected to that story, and to talk about aspects of that story and perspectives on it that we don't normally have a chance to talk about when touring the museum itself. So it's a an opportunity, even if you've been to the Roosevelt site, to learn new facts and aspects of that story that you might have never heard before."

The bus takes you on a tour of the grounds of the where the Pan American Exposition was and where the Temple of Music once stood, including the Buffalo History Museum, the only major building still standing from the exposition, according to Lozo.

"We'll head downtown also, to visit the area of the train station, where then Vice-President Roosevelt would have arrived in Buffalo, following the shooting of President McKinley. We will then go by the location of where police headquarters would have been at the time, and Old County Hall where President McKinley's body would be laid out after his death, and where, ultimately, the assassin would be tried," added Lozo.

Tickets are going fast for this month's tour, which is June 26th starting at 5:30 p.m. ET, but not to worry. There will be three more tours going on through September. The dates are as follows: July 24, August 28, September 25. Each ticket costs $35 or $30 if you are a member of the TR Inaugural Site. You can click here for more information. Tickets include half-price admission to the museum and a bonus "Guide to the Pan-Am Grounds."

This is just the beginning of more exciting things to come for the TR Inaugural Site, according to the site's new Executive Director Spencer Morgan, who took over for the previous director in April.

"It's bringing the TR site to the next level. If you visited the TR site in the past, you know that we have some wonderful technology, some wonderful, wonderful sensory experiences as you tour and as you commence throughout the house. We're planning on adding more to that. And I'm really excited about some of the advancements, especially the technological ones we'll be making here onsite. Another exciting piece to the TR site is our virtual reality components that we have accessible through our website.
