Alabama - The Band

As one of the ultimate bands who have changed the face of country music, Alabama is undoubtedly a household name. With countless hits spanning their five-decade career, the famous trio has made a mark in the country music scene. Indeed, Jeff Cook, Randy Owen, and Teddy Gentry are icons! They have inspired many bands by bringing youthful energy, charisma, and a rocking edge that broadened the audience for country music.

From the moment the trio put out their music in the early 1970s, Alabama's experimental sound was regarded to be a breath of fresh air. Thus, their songs—which included bluegrass, folk, gospel, and pop—became hits immediately. At a time when other musicians were hesitant to attempt new things, Alabama was at the forefront of country music's meteoric rise to popularity. Remember the hits "Mountain Music," "Love in the First Degree," and "Dixieland Delight?" Over the years, the band has soared to greater heights, penetrating charts, selling records, receiving innumerable awards, and selling out enormous arenas. These songs are just a handful of the numerous #1 singles they have — 21, to be exact.

Aside from selling over 75 million records globally, the band has achieved distinctions that most artists can only dream of. Alabama boasts a long list of awards and nominations, including two Grammys, fifteen Academy of Country Music awards, eighteen American Music Awards, and an induction to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

In the previous year, Alabama embarked on an anniversary tour that celebrated their 50 long years in the music industry. To say that it was a success is an understatement. Fans of all ages were ecstatic to hear the trio perform their career-defining hits — honoring their longevity and talent.

This year, Alabama is yet to announce another extensive North American concert tour. However, fans are expecting that, sooner or later, the band will embark on another series of shows in the country. After all, they will be back for another run of "June Jam." The highly-anticipated show is an all-day country concert that will feature some of the biggest names in country music. The likes of Garth Brooks, Jake Owen, Willie Nelson, The Judds, and Clint Black, among many others, have participated in the event. Thus, it is a must-see event.

Although there has yet to be an announcement for a tour, Alabama has a few shows lined up this year. One of these shows is a two-night concert event at the Oldest City in the country: St. Augustine, Florida. The trio of legendary musicians isn't slowing down any time soon because they will perform a back-to-back concert at St. Augustine Amphitheatre on November 8 and 9. Catch them on their first night at the iconic Florida venue. Reserve your tickets before they run out. Hit the "Get Tickets" link to order one for you and your friends.

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger sings in concert.

Mick is headed to the Mile High City.

On Thursday, June 20, The Rolling Stones are dropping into the Bronco’s Empower Field at Mile High for just one night as part of their ongoing AARP-sponsored ‘’24 Hackney Diamonds’ tour.

As is par for the course on this tour, the Stones will be joined by a unique opening act. At this show, it’s beloved, bluesy jam band Widespread Panic .

The other moving part of the tour is the surprise song the band has fans vote on before the show. Past tracks to make the cut at shows on this run include fan favorites “She’s A Rainbow,” “Heartbreaker,” “Sweet Virginia,” “Emotional Rescue,” and “Wild Horses” among others.

At the time of publication, the Rock Hall of Famers is yet to announce what tracks will be voted on for the Denver show.

However, if you want to score last-minute tickets, it isn’t too late.

Based on our findings, the lowest price we could find on tickets for the June 20 gig was $122 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication.

Floor seats start at $274 before fees .

While that may sound pricey, hearing “Gimme Shelter” live “is worth the price of admission alone,” according to the New York Post’s review of their May 26 MetLife Stadium concert.

Still looking for a few more details before buying?

We’ve got everything you need to know and more about the Rolling Stones June 20 concert at Empower Stadium below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Rolling Stones Denver tickets 2024

A complete breakdown of all the best prices on Rolling Stones tickets at Empower Field at Mile High by section can be found here:

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Rolling Stones 2024 tour schedule

After the brief New Jersey stay, Mick, Keith, and co. have 12 more stadium concerts on their 2024 tour calendar.

For a closer look, here’s where they’re headed next (along with the special guests they’re bringing along):

The Rolling Stones set list

The Stones performed at Glendale, AZ’s State Farm Stadium on May 7.

Here’s what they took to the stage that night, according to  Set List FM :

01.) “Start Me Up” 02.) “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (but I Like It)” 03.) “She’s So Cold” 04.) “Angry” 05.) “Beast of Burden” 06.) “Monkey Man” 07.) “Mess It Up” 08.) “Tumbling Dice”

09.) “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” 10.) “Little T&A” 11.) “Sympathy for the Devil” 12.) “Honky Tonk Women” 13.) “Miss You” 14.) “Gimme Shelter” 15.) “Paint It Black” 16.) “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”

17.) “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” 18.) “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”

The Rolling Stones new music

On Oct. 20, the Stones released their 26th American studio album,  “Hackney Diamonds,”  featuring special guests Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder.

Comprised of 12 hard-rocking tracks that wouldn’t be out of place alongside their singalong stadium anthems of yore, “Diamonds” shows that Mick, Keith, and Ronnie still have their sticky fingers on rock and roll’s pulse.

“We wouldn’t have put this album out if we didn’t really like it,” Jagger, 80, told Jimmy Fallon. “We must say that we are quite pleased with it. We’re not big-headed but we hope you like it.”

If you’re looking to sample the record, we suggest starting with the fierce lead track “Angry” and the wistful ballad “Dreamy Skies.”

Prefer to listen in full? You can find “Hackney Diamonds”  here .

The Rolling Stones band members

No joke — the upcoming tour is sponsored by AARP.

Rather than shy away from their age, the legendary rockers are embracing their elder statesman status.

To give you a peek at who’s in the group these days, take a look below.

Mick Jagger   (80 years old)   lead and backing vocals, harmonica, rhythm guitar, percussion, keyboards, bass guitar  (1962–present)

Keith Richards   (80 years old)   rhythm and lead guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, percussion, backing and lead vocals  (1962–present)

Ronnie Wood   (76 years old)   lead and rhythm guitars, bass guitar, backing vocals, pedal steel guitar  (1975–present)

Backing musicians include Chuck Leavell, Bernard Fowler, Matt Clifford, Darryl Jones, Tim Ries, Karl Denson, Chanelle Haynes, and Steve Jordan.

Their longtime drummer Charlie Watts passed away in August 2021.

Widespread Panic

As noted above, the Stones are bringing along different special guests with them at each gig.

This time, it’s John Bell and Widespread Panic . If you’re not familiar with the band’s bluesy, Southern rock, we recommend starting with the soulful “Up All Night,” twangy “Ain’t Life Grand” and laid-back “Pickin’ Up The Pieces” to sample their sound .

Want to see them headline live? You’re in luck- they’re striking out on a tour of their own this year as will.

Tickets for all 2024 Widespread Panic concerts can be found here .

St. Aug Band returns from D-Day trip with memories for a lifetime

N EW ORLEANS (WVUE) - With memories that will last a lifetime, over 100 members of the St Augustine marching 100 are back in New Orleans after a triumphant trip to France. The band wowed crowds from Paris to Normandy as they participated in D-Day 80th anniversary events.

The St. Aug band is a carnival mainstay, but now they have achieved some fame on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.

“It was part of making history; the students had a fantastic time. They know they made their mark on the street of Normandy,” said band director Ray Johnson, Jr. as they arrived at Armstrong International.

The band participated in D-Day 80th remembrances in their classic purple and gold uniforms, representing their city on the same beaches where thousands of Americans died while liberating Europe.

10th grader Jude Villavaso is St Aug’s student ambassador to France and says the trip was special.

“There were people hanging out their windows cheering us on as the band went down the street. It was very nice,” who gave a speech in both French and English at the D-Day national cemetery in Normandy.

The St. Aug band was also able to pray with three D-Day veterans, all around 100 years old.

“The experience allowed them to learn a lot about World War II and the D-Day landing,” said New Orleans councilman and St Aug band alum Eugene Green.

Band trips are often grueling experiences, and this one was longer than most, but all involved say it was worth it.

“The cause was a great cause in support of our veterans and those people who gave their lives on D-Day 80 years ago,” said Johnson.

Jude Villavaso says the French were gracious and humble.

“It was a part of making history, the students had a fantastic time. They know they made their mark on the streets of Normandy,” Villavaso said.

He and the rest of the St Aug contingent believe they helped strengthen the bonds between France and the United States while recognizing the bravery of those who fought for the Allied cars during World War II.

The St Augustine High band was in France for eight days. Many of the students raised their own money for the trip. After their ten-hour flight, they were resting up today.

After canceling tour, best-selling rock band’s drummer breaks silence on social media

After canceling a North American tour and split from management, Patrick Carney of the best-selling rock band, “Black Keys,” has stated that the group “got [expletive]”

This comes via a post he made on X, formerly known as Twitter, accompanied by further commentary from the band member.

Carney hasn’t posted on X in close to a year.

“We got [expletive]. I’ll let you all know how so it doesn’t happen to you. Stay tuned,” he wrote.

As previously reported , the cancelation of the Keys’ entire upcoming tour happened last month without explanation. It was scheduled to begin Sept. 17.

The cancelation was blamed by some on low ticket sales. The band attempted to reschedule the tour for smaller venues but didn’t provide a timeline via its social media shortly after, dispelling the speculation.

“Following the recent run of shows in the U.K. and Europe, including stops at iconic venues like Brixton Academy and the Zenith in Paris, we have decided to make some changes to the North American leg of the International Players Tour that will enable us to offer a similarly exciting, intimate experience for both fans and the band, and will be announcing a revised set of dates shortly,” the Keys wrote in an Instagram post .

But then the announcement dropped of the band splitting with its management team, Irving Azoff and Steve Moir of Full Stop Management. With seemingly no malice between the two parties, a representative for Azoff later confirmed to Billboard that it was an “amicable parting.”

So far, no further details have been made public about new tour dates. The only concert currently listed on the Keys’ website is at the NASCAR Chicago Street Race music festival on July 6.

Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band at American Family Field: What to know for Milwaukee concert

augustine band tour

Country superstar Kenny Chesney is ready to make his fifth tour stop ever at the Milwaukee Brewers ballpark Saturday.

Yes, that's opposite Summerfest — the first time the Brewers stadium has hosted a show during the music festival.

And joining Chesney at American Family Field are some faces that are very familiar to Summerfest fans: the Zac Brown Band, which has headlined the Big Gig's amphitheater seven times since 2012, more than any other act in that timeframe.

Megan Moroney — the female artist with the most Academy of Country Music Awards nominations this April (and a win for best new female artist of the year) — is also on the bill, along with Uncle Kracker, who collaborated with Chesney on the hit "When the Sun Goes Down." (Not coincidentally, the name of this run is the "Sun Goes Down Tour".)

And while Summerfest is also happening June 22 — along with Dave Matthews Band at Alpine Valley Music Theatre, and throwback hip-hop bash Tacos and Tequila Festival at Franklin Field — you can still expect about 40,000 members of No Shoes Nation to show up for Chesney at American Family Field.

Here's what you need to know before going to the show.

When do the gates open for Kenny Chesney's Milwaukee show? When does it start?

Uncle Kracker will kick off the show at 5 p.m., but the parking lots will open at 2 p.m. — giving fans plenty of time for tailgating. The gates open at 4 p.m. Take advantage of those long lead times if you want to see every minute of the show. That the concert is happening on a Saturday should help alleviate traffic to the stadium, but Milwaukee will be buzzing that day with Summerfest also going on, which could affect traffic depending on where you come from. And you can expect lines getting through security into the stadium, too.

How much is parking? Is the Brewers' QR code-based parking system in effect?

General parking is $25 in advance, $35 the day of show, or $40 for preferred parking in advance, $50 the day of the show. You can buy parking at brewers.com/chesney , which is highly recommended, as the Brewers can't guarantee that lots won't fill up before you arrive. Also good to know: The QR code-based parking system the team was touting that was suspended after opening day due to connectivity issues is still not up and running.

Here's how to get to the concert if you don't want to drive

A pair of  Milwaukee County Transit System  routes drop people off within walking distance of the ballpark: the CONNECT1 on Wisconsin Avenue and Route 18 on National Avenue. Find the schedule, fare information and more at  ridemcts.com .

The taxi pickup and drop-off is outside Helfaer Field, while drop-off and pick-up for Uber and Lyft is in American Family Field's Gantner parking lot. But be forewarned: There are huge crowds for rideshares after stadium concerts.

Some of the  bars and restaurants that send shuttles to Brewers games  should be offering rides as well. See the "American Family Field" section of  brewers.com for more details.

Are tickets still available for Kenny Chesney's concert? How much are tickets?

Multiple sections are sold out, or mostly sold out, and the show is expected to reach capacity, but tickets remain for the concert at brewers.com . Prices for general tickets range from $60 for terrace reserved outfield seats to $280 for a seat on the floor near the stage. A handful of "platinum seats" with optimal viewing are also available for $252 to $254. And fans looking for an enhanced experience can see if tickets remain for any of the six VIP packages on the Brewers website.

What's Kenny Chesney expected to play in Milwaukee?

The hits, of course, as all Chesney fans know — including "Summertime," "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" and "When the Sun Goes Down," which Chesney will be performing with Uncle Kracker. You also can expect a couple of songs from his latest and 20th studio album, "Born." And while Zac Brown Band won't play as long as it typically does at its own headlining shows, the band's sets on the Chesney tour have included their customary explosive covers and signature hits like "Toes," "Homegrown" and "Chicken Fried."

Where can I get more information about the Kenny Chesney concert?

More details, including where fans catching the show from the general-admission pit or a floor seat can get required wristbands for access, will be emailed to ticketholders. Additional information should be available at brewers.com/chesney .

Editor’s Note: The parking status at American Family Field has been corrected.

The Eagles are officially coming to the Las Vegas Sphere: Dates and ticket details

augustine band tour

The Eagles’ long and winding road to goodbye will go through Las Vegas this fall.

The band will become the fourth act to play the snazzy Sphere when their farewell tour, The Long Goodbye , pulls into the venue for eight dates: Sept. 20-21; Sept. 27-28; Oct. 11-12 and Oct. 18-19.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale at 1 p.m. ET June 21 at eagles.com. Tickets start at $175 (all-in pricing).

Registration for the band's presale is available now on the Eagles' site. The presale begins at 1 p.m. ET June 18, while a Live Nation presale starts at 1 p.m. ET June 20. A limited number of VIP packages will also go on sale at 1 p.m. ET June 18 on the band's website.

The Eagles playing the Sphere hasn’t been the best-kept secret . In May, James Dolan, executive chairman and CEO of Sphere Entertainment Co., mentioned on an earnings call the Eagles would be the next act to explore the creative and visual opportunities that come with playing the nine-month-old venue.

The band, which kicked off its farewell tour in September, will follow rapturously received residencies by U2, who christened the venue last fall, Phish and, currently, Dead & Company .

The Grateful Dead offshoot band fronted by Bob Weir and including John Mayer and Mickey Hart, are in the midst of a recently expanded 30-date run that will wrap Aug. 10.

All three of the acts who have parked at the Sphere have captivated crowds with awe-inspiring visual elements – rolling video that makes the room feel as if it’s moving, band images incorporated into TV sets, walls of backstage passes that envelop the inside of the venue – projected onto the 160,000-square-foot LED screen that wraps the interior.

The Eagles , currently touring Europe, have a set list stocked with their more laid-back hits in the first half (“Take it Easy,” “One of These Nights,” “Take it To the Limit”) that builds to rollicking rockers including “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Already Gone” as the show continues.

The Amp St. Augustine presents acclaimed country band Old Dominion on their "Band Behind the Curtain Tour" with two live performances on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 11 and 12, 2021.

Old Dominion has emerged as one of the hottest bands breaking out of Nashville, fusing clever lyrics and an infectious sound. Their lyrical wit and hook-heavy songwriting has certainly proved a winning method. Since breaking onto the music scene in 2014, the band has notched eight No. 1 singles at country radio, surpassed 1 billion on-demand streams, earned several Platinum and Gold single certifications and headlined arenas and amphitheaters around the globe.

As their reputiation grew, so did the accolades. The band won the Academy of Country Music award in 2018. Their sophomore album, "Happy Endings," which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums, included the singles, "Written in The Sand" and "No Such Thing as a Broken Heart," which also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts.

The current reigning CMA and ACM "Group of the Year," Old Dominion took home awards for Song of the Year for their hit single "One Man Band" as well as Group of the Year at the 2020 ACM awards.

Keanu Reeves and Dogstar: How to see their Summer Vacation Tour 2024 in metro Phoenix

augustine band tour

If you happen to see Keanu Reeves inside a local Circle K in late September, you should know it’s not because the Bill & Ted franchise is at it again.

Reeves will be in metro Phoenix for his role as the bassist for Dogstar, the alternative-rock band he launched in the 90s with “Quattro Formaggi,” a wonderfully titled four-song EP that hit the streets in 1996.

By that point, Reeves was famous for his starring role in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure," a science-fiction comedy primarily shot in metro Phoenix.

Last seen rocking Crescent Ballroom last summer, Dogstar will return to Arizona for a gig at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Hotel & Casino on the Ak-Chin Indian Community south of Phoenix on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Dogstar issued a statement saying, "We are having the best time out here on the road interacting with fans at these shows, we wanted to keep it going! For this next US run starting in August, we will be planning to try out some new songs as well — hope to see you out there!”
