Antelope Canyon

Nature's beauty.

Antelope Canyon with the famous light beams near Lechee Arizona on the Navajo Nation

Antelope Canyon, located near Page, Arizona is home to one of nature’s most wondrous creations – the slot canyon. Carved from the red sandstone for millennia by seasonal flood rains and wind, the canyons are narrow passageways that lead several hundred feet away from the mouth. The gorgeous sloping angles of the rocks – coupled with the shifts of light that make their way down from the rim of the canyon – combine for a scene that cannot be fully explained with words. Only 8 to 12 feet wide along the sandy floor, the slot canyons have been featured in Hollywood films and magazine publications around the world. But none of those images can match the one you’ll experience when you step into the canyons and see this wonder for yourself.

To the Navajo, we call the Upper Antelope Canyon – Tsé’bighanilí – which means “The place where water runs through.” For Lower Antelope Canyon, we call this place Hasdestwazi – which means “Spiral Rock Arches.”

The best times to visit:

  • If you are looking to take  photos of the sun beaming into the canyon , book a tour with the tour groups in Upper Antelope Canyon around 11am to 1pm for the months of March to October. To get extra time in the canyon, book a tour with a photography group – there may be an extra fee to book this type of tour.
  • If you want to do a  little hiking and want a little more seclusion , book a tour for the Lower Antelope Canyon area. This portion is not as busy as the Upper Antelope Canyon.
  • If you want less tourists,  visit during the months of November to March.

For viewing the Antelope Canyon, a permit and a tour guide is required . The tour group will assist you in purchasing the permit.

WARNING: Flash flooding can happen at any time. Please heed the warnings placed by the local tour companies and emergency messages announced by the Navajo Parks & Recreation Department for your safety.

The Antelope Canyon tour was a long waited item on my buck list, and I did it finally and it was amazing. We booked the tour 4 months in advance, but the prime time of 12pm tour were fully booked, so we got the 2pm one and it was still beautiful as expected. Our tour guide Waylin is awesome, he has sense of humor and is very professional as well. He explained the canyon formations, history, and showed us the best angle and phone setting for each view points, the pictures came out amazingly beautiful. Truly recommend the tour with Waylin if you want a memorable Antelope Canyon experience.

Antelope Canyon was certainly an amazing spectacle to see! The tour was about 2 hours in total. The drive to the Canyon from the pickup location was about 20 mins each way, with about half of that being through a rough unpaven road through the sand to get there. You spend a little more than an hour through the Canyon itself. My tour guide, Oscar, was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the tour. He helped talk through the history of the Canyon and also helped out with picture opportunities. I gave it 4 stars because I think the tour itself was a little pricey ($85) and also because you kind of feel rushed to get through the Canyon. All in all though, I do think it's worth checking out! It's truly something to see and experience.

Sunny was our fantastic guide. He illuminated the "canyon" in a whole new light. Sharing heart felt history and knowledge with humor, he made it all super interesting even for our fifteen year old. The shades of light and red rock were stunning. Of course ;)

Our tour guide was Wayland if I remember correctly. He was awesome! So nice and patient. He showed us how to take the best pictures during the tour. Allowed for the group ahead of us to move on so we were always by ourselves as a group. From the office to the location is about a 20 min drive on an open truck. The road is very bumpy but it was fun just getting there. I loved it! Def recommend!

I've been wanting to go to Antelope Canyon for YEARS and when researching a company for the Upper canyon this comment kept popping up. The prices were reasonable and the time slots always showed full so I figured that was a good sign. We booked the 9:50am tour, you meet at the main office and then you get divided into groups, they assign you a color, and you get transported in these super cool shuttles. It takes about 20 mins to get from the meeting point to the entrance of upper Antelope canyon. Our guide was Waylon and he was awesome! He took time to point out all the good photo spots, made sure everyone in our group got a chance to take a photo of whatever he was pointing out and took photos for everyone as well. He was so knowledgeable, funny, personable and overall the best guide we could have possibly gotten. The tour itself isn't very difficult, just at the end a bit. You do get moved through the canyon as there are groups ahead and behind you but I didn't once feel rushed. I highly recommend this company for Antelope Canyon tours and if you can, request Waylon!

This was a great tour of the lower canyon. What an amazing experience to have seen these natural wonders. It was so incredible how this was all made by water. I've mostly seen pictures, but seeing it in person was different.

antelope canyon tour ekis

The tour begins by meeting at their "office" which is located in a retail strip mall. You wait out in the parking lot at your designated "color" pick-up spot. Depending on the time of year, it can be very uncomfortable standing around waiting. When your tour car driver arrives, the van holds 14 people that are crammed into each bench seat. The drive out to Antelope Canyon is short, time-wise, about a 20-minute drive. The road to the canyon is unpaved, rough, dusty, and covered with loose sand where our van felt like it almost got stuck a couple of times. Luckily, we arrived all in one piece. (Tip): No bathroom facilities are available on the van or at the canyon. In fact, they warn you, if you have to "go", "Don't!", not even in the desert. Its silly. Why not put portable outhouses? Seriously. Prior to boarding the tour van, go use the bathroom across the street at the Circle K convenience store. Don't bother using their office bathroom. The tour of the canyon lasts just over an hour. This doesn't include the drive to/from or walking out of the canyon to the van. The length of the hike is only 150-yards. The tour consists of several stops where the tour guide explains the canyon formations, minerals, colors, designations, and other details. Our tour guide was friendly, spoke fluent English, very knowledgeable, and was very patient with everyone. He would answer any questions and was helpful in taking pictures of the guests. Picture taking of everything and everyone slows down the tour. You are prohibited from walking on your own or leaving your tour group. No liquids other than a clear water bottle, backpacks, only clear handbags are allowed. There are plenty of photos on social media sites of Antelope Canyon so I wont inundate you with more. Suffice it to say, it is beautiful, a natural wonder, and worth visiting. However, the price is a bit steep for the tour. We paid $100/pp. They tack-on a parking fee & processing fee. We felt $50/pp would have been more reasonable. Total time spent was about 2 hours. Would we go again? Probably not. Were we glad we went? Yes. Why a 3-star rating? Too pricey.

View of their "office" waiting to board our assigned 14-passenger van.

Key Takeaways

  • The only way to see Antelope Canyon is with a guided tour.
  • Tours go to the Upper Canyon (which is most poular), Lower Canyon or Canyon X.
  • Most tours depart from Page, Arizona, but you can also book day trips from Las Vegas and Sedona.
  • When booking your tour, keep in mind that Antelope Canyon follows daylight saving time, unlike the rest of Arizona.

Known for its labyrinthine, seemingly undulating sandstone walls and the beams of sunlight that shine into them, Arizona's Antelope Canyon is a magnet for photographers and tourists traveling through the American Southwest.

The famous landmark forms part of Lake Powell Navajo Tribal Park in the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation. As such, the Navajo Nation requires that visitors are led by authorized guides, who provide tours of the Upper Canyon, Lower Canyon and Canyon X. These tours depart from or close to Page, Arizona, though you can also find Antelope Canyon tours from Sedona and Las Vegas .

Note: Most of Arizona does not follow daylight saving time, though the Navajo Nation, where Antelope Canyon is located, does. Be sure to take this into account when planning your visit.

Upper Antelope Canyon Tours

Lower antelope canyon tours, antelope canyon x tours, antelope canyon tours from las vegas, antelope canyon tours from sedona, upper vs. lower antelope canyon.

Before choosing a tour, you'll need to decide which part of the canyon you'd like to see.

The terrain of the Upper Canyon is more accessible for most tourists and is, therefore, busier. Exploring the Lower Canyon , in contrast, requires visitors to have some degree of endurance, as travelers must climb and descend several staircases. Canyon X is less popular, but equally beautiful.

How to Get to Antelope Canyon

Upper Canyon: Companies that provide tours of the Upper Canyon are all based in or near Page, Arizona (where Antelope Canyon is located), and provide transportation. Travelers will need to drive to Page, as there is no public transportation. Drivers coming from the north or south can take Route 89, drivers from the west can take Route 89A, and visitors commuting from the east can take Route 98.

Lower Canyon: Companies serving the Lower Canyon are located within walking distance of the canyon's entrance; therefore, they do not provide transportation to or from Page. Travelers on a Lower Canyon tour will need to drive to the tour operator's location. These companies are about 5 miles east of Page.

Best Antelope Canyon Tours

Several local companies provide guided tours of Upper Antelope Canyon. Because the Upper Canyon is easiest to walk through, it is also quite popular, especially at peak times during the summer. Considering this, making tour reservations well in advance is highly recommended. No matter which tour you pick, you're guaranteed to see incredible rock formations in a kaleidoscope of colors.

While the Upper and Lower portions of Antelope Canyon receive tons of fanfare, Antelope Canyon X promises stunning views without the hefty crowds. Antelope Canyon X – which gets its name from the X-shaped formation at the top of the canyon – is located within Antelope Canyon, so it still features the same geologic features the Upper and Lower areas are known for, but its relative anonymity makes it less of a tourist magnet.

Antelope Canyon X Taadidiin Tours

Price: Adults from $40; kids from $30 Duration: 1.5 hours

Antelope Canyon X Taadidiin Tours is the only operator running tours of Antelope Canyon X. It operates 1.5-hour small-group hikes through the canyon. Travelers rave about their visits to this site, and are particularly complimentary of the knowledgeable guides. Tours depart at multiple different times daily. Note that an additional $8 hiking permit is required for visitors ages 8 and older.

Photography enthusiasts can sign up for Taadidiin's Photo Tour, which spends three hours in the canyon and permits participants to bring a tripod and a camera bag. Fees start at about $125 per person.

Tour operators offer full and multiday excursions from Las Vegas that include Antelope Canyon as well as national parks and other iconic attractions.

Lunch at a sit-down restaurant is also included in the tour price.

Reviewers say the tour guides are exceptional, and because it's a long trip, they appreciated that there were plenty of bathroom breaks and stops along the way.

Note that children must be at least 6 years old to participate in this tour.

Pink Adventure Tours - Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Tour

Price: Adults from $269; kids from $249 Duration: 11 hours

First time trying this tour. Our tour guide was Cindy and she was awesome! She was excellent as a tour guide not only her explanations during the tour but also she was friendly and had a great skill in taking pics. She told us how to take good pics as we went through the canyon.

With a keen eye, our guide Abraham traversed us through the canyon. We didn't miss an angle. Where else can you find a beautiful hooved creature embedded in a heart. Go there today and book early and often.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Amazing experience although it's VERY touristy. The canyon itself is magnificent and a MUST do. However, there were a LOT of people and you get herded through the canyon like sheep. Our guide Oscar was lovely but I just didn't like the fact that you can't do what you want. All the pictures you are allowed to take are orchestrated to stay on a tight timeline and you can't just sneak around the corner and take pictures where you want. If you want more time for photos, book the photography tour. We booked the normal sightseeing tour and felt a bit rushed.

We just loved our tour guide Oscar! Super guy and we thought the tour offered the right amount of time for the number of people going through there. Ask for Oscar!

Must see tourist attraction near Page Antelope Canyon, home of some of the more famous photographs of US landscape is something you should try. Antelope canyon tours gave a great tour, they showed us some of the more famous spots and some of their favorite shots. We also were treated to some Navajo songs, traditions, and history of the canyon. Even if you are not huge into photography this is a beautiful spot to visit, admire, and appreciate. Very happy with our tour and guide

Upper antelope was WAY better than the lower antelope. Maybe because our tour guide, Malcolm, was the best. He sang to us, very informative, took pictures for us, and spoke Navajo! The upper antelope was amazing. You can get the same pictures as the lower antelope and is way LESS crowded. We had the last tour of the day (at 430pm) so we didn't feel rushed. Malcolm then took us on a mini hike to another smaller canyon which was so personal. You can definitely get your solo pictures in the canyon here. Recommend 10/10, do the upper antelope canyon tour!!!

Visited with ken's tours. The tour guide was very helpful and accomodating. The canyons are amazingly beautiful.

It’s really amazing. Sometimes you just get stucked because everyone is taking photos...

This tour was a lot of fun. I went in December so there wasnt the greatest lighting during the 3:30 tour, but I figured that going into it. Plenty of chances for photos and we had an extremely helpful guide. The ride from the parking lot to the canyon is a little rough sitting in the back of their truck, definitely dress warm for any winter tours!

antelope canyon tour ekis

Our tour of Upper Antelope Canyon had the maximum number of 14. Our tour guide was informative and made sure everyone in the group stood in the best spot to take photos. We went in the 7:00 am tour and the crowds were not bad. You must have a tour guide for Antelope Canyon.

Rick B is our awesome guide, very experienced and knowledgeable.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Rick B was hands down the best tour guide and photographer. He taught so many tips on how to take the prefect photo... And his knowledge of the canyon, excellent experience and worth the time to do!!!

We had the pleasure of having Arden as our tour guide, a very informative, interesting and fun experience. Some beautiful shots and scenery - would definitely recommend. Gift shop staff very friendly too - especially Celeste. A must do in Arizona!

antelope canyon tour ekis

Andrey Lvovskiy

They know what they do. Everything is well planned and well done. Our guide Roger was awesome, he told us stories about the canyon, pointed the best spots, directions and settings to take photos, showed the canyon from above and even a small canyon nearby. I love their great attention to details: they send reminders when they needed, they inform about local time difference, they warn about sand and ask you to protect your eyes and lenses.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Veronica Crass

Amazing experience! Our tour guide (Sonny/Sunny?) was super friendly and informative and helped us take the most memorative pictures.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Amazing service and great place to watch. Great thing is they allow kids from 0 years so definitely great for new parents and of course for others too

An awesome experience. Our guide was very nice. Talked about the history of the canyon and helped with camera settings and pictures. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. We booked way in advance and had a guaranteed spot. Groups are not too big which is really nice. Please note - these guys don't play around - if you're late they'll leave without you! Our guide was super friendly and knowledge, giving us tips on the best spots to photograph. Highly recommended.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Lynn Ventura

Unbelievably beautiful! Guide helped us get those fabulous pictures you see advertised! Easy walk. Lots of memories!

antelope canyon tour ekis

coMMand 003

Great tour guide. Great views of the canyon. However, there are way too many people from other tour groups packed into the canyon at the same time. This makes the experience less enjoyable. This is the only negative.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Well where do I begin from the pick up the guy was awesome the drive-in the guy was great the information he gave was incredible and when you get inside the canyon be prepared it is absolutely breathtaking it was 112 degrees outside so bring some water but once you get in the canyon the temperature drops dramatically probably down to the 70s it was so cool going on a guided tour for about 30 minutes and then he lets you walk amongst the place freely they set up your camera to catch the best pictures and let me tell you something some serious pictures I'm about to show you but these pictures do no justice go here go now incredible place America the Beautiful

antelope canyon tour ekis

Sue Leibert

Awesome tour. Tiana was an outstanding guide. The canyon is amazing...the hour your just flies by!!! Highly recommend Dixie Ellis Tours

We went on the upper antelope tour at 4:30. The canyon is absolutely beautiful!!! Arden was our tour guide and he was awesome!!! He showed everyone how to get the best pictures and very much appreciated his knowledge of how the canyon was formed and the history of the area. Thank you Arden

Antelope canyon is a really beautiful place. It really blew me away. It's really a must see/visit location. I was quite lucky with the tour guide, who was really great. The tour was worth its price

antelope canyon tour ekis

The company is very on schedule, service was great but not perfect. Avoid going the early tour from 7am to 9am, sun light is not sufficient to enter the upper Antelope Canyon.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Alexander Reichelt

The view was very nice and it was a great experience. The problem was that our guide was very unfriendly. As we wanted to give her the tip of 6$ she said ”only a few dollars, you can keep it“. We were shooked.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon not easily visible looking at the surface. It has wonderful rock formations and many vistas of the sky from deep underground. The guide we had was a native American who was knowledgeable. He also took great pictures for several members of the your group. Worth the time and cost to visit.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Daniel DeSclafani

Antelope Canyon Tours was awesome! They had it planned out really well and we had a tour guide named Rick who was very funny and very knowledgeable about the canyon! He set everything up for us on our phones and cameras and even helped others take photos! Extremely happy with the service! Obviously antelope canyon was amazing as well! Definitely something everyone should see one in their life!

A true must-see sight in the Southwest. The canyon tour is expensive and be prepared for sharing your experience with many, many other tourists. In return you get to see a one of a kind beauty of this planet.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Julian Orozoc

What an amazing site to see that was beautifully carved by mother nature herself. Whenever you visit it, you will understand why Page, Arizona has such a high tourist visitation per year.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Shreyash Agrawal

The upper antelope canyons are a sight to behold.. i can promise you have never seen something like this before in your life... the tours are expensive agreed... but the 70-80 dollars that you will pay will be worth it totally once you see the beauty of what nature created...

antelope canyon tour ekis

Great tour guide! Almost forgot how much I spent.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Awesome experience..must watch..our guide was very helpful and polite although we did encounter other tour guides during our tour who were very rude..thank goodness ours was so friendly. He took time and clocked everyone's pic in the group..showed us all the famous spots..as well..its worth it..the beauty is surpassing

antelope canyon tour ekis

Kaylee DeLiguori

A wonderful experience! Then canyon itself was gorgeous, unlike anything I've ever seen before. The tour length was plenty of time to truly soak in and enjoy the experience, the guide was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable (and was kind enough to some very nice pictures a first-time visitor would have missed!), and all for a very affordable price.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Brian Kientz

One of the most scenic experiences we have seen! This should be on everyone's bucket list. Antelope Canyon Tours is is best to see it, especially our guide Cindy who made sure we made the most of the visit by pointing out shapes and views we would have not otherwise seen.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Bekah Fairley

Absolutely amazing!! Our tour guide was so helpful in telling the history of the area, changing the phones camera modes to get incredible photos inside and had great suggestions of where to stand to get the best pictures!! The tour was not very long but was so worth it!! We went in February. The tour guide said it gets uncomfortably hot in the summer months. And you can't go when it raining due to threats of floods.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Dress warm for the drive to and from the canyon, just bring your camera inside. Oscar was the absolute BEST! He was our tour guide. He helped everyone get their cameras on the correct settings to take pictures inside the canyon. He's very knowledgeable about the canyon and helped us capture images that would've easily been missed. He even took pictures couple pictures for us in several designated spots! It's important to listen to his directions and comply in a timely manner. Thank youI for an experience we'll never forget! Tip your tour guide!!

Amazing landscape. But it's a small canyon. Photographic tour is for those with professional cameras (DSLR). Highly recommend to take Sightseer's tour, it's quite enough.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Ekaterina Gracheva

We had a tour this January and this was one of the best experiences in our life. Our guide (Rob (?) sorry if the name is wrong) was very nice and helpful. Not only he guided us through the canyon but also helped a lot with photo settings and took amazing photos of us. Overall it was a great experience and if we ever return in Page we will take the tour with Antelope Canyon tours again.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Wow in lake Powell you need to take the tour. An unforgettable experience

antelope canyon tour ekis

Chris Sluter

Antelope canyon was itself an exquisite and beautiful place, there is no denying that. However, the way in which the tours are conducted makes this less of a enjoyable experience. 7-8 different companies compete against each other for access into the canyons. You are ushered in big groups and quickly brought through the canyons, often with other groups at the same time. I understand that this allows for more people to see the canyons, but it nonetheless makes it hard to enjoy with tons of others squeezing through. Moreover, despite paying the same amount, the later tours are not as good, despite the tour sites saying that they are. The light fades quickly and as the canyons themselves are quite deep this mitigates what you can actually see. There are a number of other slot canyons in the area which, while maybe not as fantastic as Antelope, nonetheless are much, much cheaper (free) and without the hundreds of others.

Rosie was an excellent tour guide! Knew the best angles to take photos & the best filters on different types of phone cameras.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Fred Aussillou

Vert Nice canyon. A must see. Thé guide was nice and helpfull for taking gold mixtures.

antelope canyon tour ekis

C.R. Rigali

This was an amazing experience. We were the first tour in the morning so lighting was not optimal but it was still amazing. Our tour guide Rosie was part docent and part professional photographer. She knew all places, camera positions and settings to make every photograph a work of art. We will make another trip out here for the photography tour someday.

I do feel like it’s a bit too pricey. It was about 100 for dim conditions which is a reduced rate for two people. However, it is beautiful and the guides deserve 5 stars for how amazing they were!

antelope canyon tour ekis

Raul Santibanez

The pros: The canyon itself was a Marvel to see! A lot of natural beauty and you will be amazed and the colors. If you’re looking for that new Instagram pic, you have found your spot. The staff was courteous and very knowledgeable about the canyon on the tour. The ride there was also an adventure and made you feel as if you were going on a back country trip. The cons: It was WAY overly crowded. For that Insta pic I mentioned, you’re going to have to be ready to take it in a few seconds or you’re going to get someone’s leg or face in it. The tour itself seemed a little rushed because they are trying to squeeze so many people in and out of there for the next tour. In my opinion the tour is also WAY overpriced. By the time my group paid fees and taxes my ticket was over $80. I won’t downplay the canyon, but in my opinion you can get a lot more bang for the buck for other points of interest in northern Arizona or southern Utah. I mean even the Grand Canyon is only $35 per car.... Hope this helped!

antelope canyon tour ekis

The canyon is beautiful! The tour was horrible. It was super rush. The guide stop at one spot, give the whole group (about 10 people) 5 minutes to take picture. If you care about how the picture come out, that's too bad, because you can't, want to retake a picture? Sorry you got to move. The guide in the next tour group was super rude. She will purposely get into your picture just to ruin it.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Heidi Woerner

Amazing tour! Our guide knew the best places for photography and was willing to take pictures of each grouping of people. Make sure (as they will tell you) to really take in the Canyon and not be so focused on taking pictures. Mother nature is really showing off with this canyon!

antelope canyon tour ekis

Wow what an experience!!! Rick B was our tour guide and he was PHENOMENAL. Very informative and gave us great tips to take great pictures. We did the 7am tour and I highly recommend this time because by the time we were done which was close to 9 the place was very crowded. Highly recommend this place.

Had a blast going through the Upper Antelope Canyon tour. Our guide made sure the group didn't miss the best photo spots, he had great energy! Would love to see the canyon in summer for the sun beams.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Very nice tour and guide. Would have given 5, but we needed to be there at 6:30 and the shop was closed. This is not professional and resulted in a chaotic start.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Cathy Sequeiros

Very nice tour - Canyon is beautiful and they really help with tips and opportunities with photos. Lynette was a great guide. Efficient and fun trip to and from Canyon on truck. Son loved that part.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Fabulous place, great Navajo guides. Reserve well in advance. The truck ride there is the only part that's a bit difficult if you're less mobile - the Upper Canyon is quite flat and accessible. You'll get great photos with any camera at all.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Austen Ream

Great tour and an even better tour guide. Prepare to get fairly dusty on your ride out to the entrance. And hold on to your hat! (A few people almost lost theirs on the way). Once you arrive they'll walk you through the while providing some history and also help you take some pictures. Expect tight corners and quite a few other tour groups that you'll have to pass by. Overall great experience and I can't wait to go back and see the lower canyon.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Andy Mortenson

We were extremely fortunate to have Rosey as our guide. She not only knew the best places to stop for pictures but also knew the best angles to shoot from. She even helped her clients make beneficial changes to the camera settings of many varieties of phones. Lastly, she kept the traffic moving in both directions while making certain our group got Its fair share of the opportunities to take pictures. Many of the other guides whose groups we passed made little effort to control their group. Excellent job Rosey!

antelope canyon tour ekis

Aakash Jariwala

Awesome experience. Got amazing photos on my phone. Ricky aka Rico was the best tour guide for taking photos, really knows his stuff.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Brendon Marczan

Really great tour guides who are helpful and generous with their time and information. The waiting area for the tour is a total mess and they could benefit from better seating, maybe some beverages and snacks, and could easily sell some sunscreen but otherwise it's a great tour.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Markus Ruegsegger

Just breathtaking Rick B was an awesome guide with great knowledge, he knew every camera on how to set it so you can shoot great pictures

antelope canyon tour ekis

St Vincent de Paul

The ride there is a little bumpy but we'll worth it. The views are awesome. Our guide was top notch and not only pointed out spectacular sights but expertly assisted with camera settings and taking photos. Make your reservations early as they fill up quick. If nothing is available when you want to go, keep trying. They do get cancellations.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Rick B was our guide and this tour and guide blew away our expectations. Very knowledgeable on canyon as well as photo. He took care of every person in our group. Showed us some of the angles from famous published shots so you can recreate on your camera :) We enjoyed so much we want to come back again (as long as we can get Rick B!)

antelope canyon tour ekis

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! Mindblowing views, out of this planet! The only way to see the Upper Antelope Canyon is by taking a tour. Totally worth the price! The tour guide was super nice and friendly, that also gave great recommendations on photo angles and views of the Canyon!!!! One of the highlights of the trip!

antelope canyon tour ekis

Carrie Shultz

This place really does get booked out! Make your reservations early! You don't need to pay, but your place will be held. We checked in a half hour early like they requested. The drive over the Antelope Canyon Upper was about 20 mins on the back of a covered truck. It was a very dusty drive over; plan a shower afterward. Our tour was at 8am so we were one of the first groups there for the day which was awesome. There were times we could see no one ahead of us and get great photos. We did the normal tour, not the more expensive photography tour. Our guide was excellent. She told us a little bit about the canyon as she pointed out different points of interest and told us very specifically how to get the best photos. She even took our camera and took some for us which are some of our best ones! There is no way to see it without a guide. You are never left alone, there will be large crowds, it is not an ideal way to see it but it's the only way. Suck it up and go anyways. This space is magical and you will feel the energy just as much as you appreciate it's beauty. We tipped her $20 for the two of us. If you're sensitive to dust or sand, please wear a bandana around your mouth or other face covering. The sand is definitely going into your lungs if you don't. We will be back!

antelope canyon tour ekis

Great business. Well worth the money paid and this is a Native Owned business so it benefits the local people. Malcolm was the best. The canyon was spectacular. One recommendation, go on the early tours. The canyon gets extremely busy and becomes difficult to take pictures.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Alan Shorrick

Great location, but very poor tour. Overcrowded, no information, just walk to photo spots where the guide will grab your cam and get a warm shot....

antelope canyon tour ekis

This was absolutely amazing! If you do one thing in Arizona you have to do this. Tori, our tour guide was also great. She knew the best photos and helped us take the photos. I couldn’t of asked for a better tour!

I recommend everybody to take a tour in the canyon..it worths the travel from the other side of the planet!

'A-' is my rating for the tour operating company. The Canyon and our bus driver/tour guide was amazing. The tour company is not very clear on the description. They provide above the ground tour ONLY. There is also a below the ground tour which is even more amazing. That info is something we need to research more. The above ground canyon tour would take hardly 10 to 15 mins. The bus ride back and forth is the longest. Our guide was amazing and he is also a part time photographer. He made our visit even more memorable. Thanks to him.

antelope canyon tour ekis

john dunivan

Amazing tour. Our tour guide helped everyone get the best photos of the canyons possible and took lots of pics of the tourists.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Had off season fun. Took a special from the lodge with this tour in the package. It was interesting to see our houseboat still moored on the ball in Wahweap marina but nice to have someone else driving so we could play tourist. Great time.

The antelope canyon tour was incredible. It was a little pricier than I had expected but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to experience the canyons. It was nice how they didn't let too many people in at a time so there were opportunities to take a lot of really cool pictures. The local Navajo guides were full of information and very friendly.

Great tour! YOU HAVE GOT TO DO THIS TOUR! Beautiful formations and colors. Guide was Oscar and he was superb. Little bit of a bumpy ride to get there but just part of the overall experience.

Very excellent company. Not only did out tour guide bring joy to our trip, he taught us the best ways to photograph the canyon and showed us pro modes on phone for the best way to experience the canyon.

I give this particular tour place 2 stars because... we drove 4 hours to see this canyon and paid 70 each to be ryshed through it. I forgot our tour guides name, but we were the last group out for their company and there was noone behind up ans he was very impatient. Very controlling. Telling us we can take however many pictures we want, but not giving us the opportunity to take them. Though he did a great job showing us the cool features of the cave... the experience couldnt be enjoyed. I was so sad. I want to see again for top... but yea, no thank you. Not after that.

Spent a lot of time looking for the appropriate way to visit antelope canyon. Ever since I saw a photo of this place it's been a dream destination for me to check out at some point in my life. As a photographer I wanted to make sure I had a chance to do this right however I also have my family with me and knew that the photography tour was probably not the best way to go about it. The way that you have to visit this canyon is via guided tours and there are two options, The general tour and the photography tour. The photography tour allows you to bring a tripod which is nearly necessary because the canyons are super dark. The photos you see are heavily post-processed and require longer exposures to minimize grain. I was shooting with the Sony a73 and had no problems taking photos without a tripod. We visited during off peak season so we didn't get any shots of the light beams but you see in a lot of photos from here, however I was still extremely impressed with the canyon itself and the history that it held. Are tour guide was wonderful and she told us where the great shots were and even tried to clear people out that we could all get photos Even though we are not on a photography tour. I do think that it's a bit of a luck of the draw situation on who you get for your tour, but I can't recommend this company enough. If you're planning on doing this make sure you bring a bag for your camera that you can put it in when you travel from the tour location to the canyon itself as the dust is extremely fine and it will get into everything. I also recommend shooting slightly under exposed and processing it in post to draw the colors in the sand.

Antelope Canyon has always been on my bucket list to see. Finially I did! Of course it's beautiful. First thing, I wish i didn't book the 7am tour. The light isn't shinning in the canyon enough to see well and get good pictures. But that was my fault and I will learn for next time if I ever go again. If I do decide to go again, I won't book it again with this company. The Tour guide was very rude. And I don't know if all the tour guides were as pushy as the others when it came to getting you through the canyon as quick as she can. It seemed like anytime you snapped a picture, she was telling you to move on quickly. She was actually saying, "Come on, come on, keep it moving, let's go let's go let's go." And she would do it over and over. I understand the tour had a time limit and many people would be seeing it and it can't get crowded. But it felt like she was saying that the whole time. We were in and out real quick. My 1 1/2 tour included the 20 minute ride in and 20 minute ride back which I didn't know either. I thought I would get an 1 1/2 hours at the canyon. So that didnt leave much time to enjoy it. If there is a way to do it on your own, i would. I'm not sure if that is an option. Also, I was surprised the lack of education we were given about the tour. I was expecting to learn more about it and its history but I didn't.

We visited at 6:30 am and so when we arrived there was nobody there. Best time to see it! Our tour guide, Bryce, was super nice and taught us a lot! He showed us how to make a canyon with sand and we were able to replicate it at home ;) He also took super nice pictures for us. The tours are a bit pricy for us but totally worth it :D

What an awesome experience! Something you will not forget. We had Rosie as our tour guide and she was great, could not ask for a better guide. Showed us great spots to get pictures and provided a lot of knowledge.

Great destination and excellent trip. Must visit if you are travelling to west coast. Have a Stay one day in Page and complete both upper and lower antelope canyon. I would suggest you to book tickets online . Also the weather is windy so carry scarf, muffler to protect you from Sand. It looks more beautiful during Sunny weather.

Scott was our tour guide and was excellent. We had a 7am tour of which all that was available. The process was simple to book. They were clear instructions, they were on time. They are a pretty well oiled machine in how it all works out. The ride a bit bumpy in transfer but not anything 99% of the people couldn't handle. The 7 am tour ended up being great. We didn't have to deal with groups before us coming back through getting in our photos... huge bonus! Scott was very good with our group of 14. He did excellent moving clueless people out of the way for others to get photos without people roaming through your shots. Scott also offered on 3 separate occasions to photograph your specific group at some great places. He was informative and good at his job. We got amazing photos, we had enough time to do it, and I would do it again. Heads up, 7 months waiting time for noon reservations to catch the sun beams. Regardless, still priceless experience and definitely worth putting on your must do list!

It was a wonderful experience as Tori led us through the Canyon showing the different formations. The tours started promptly at the said time. People were taken in groups in a small truck to the actual site. The ride got bumpy as we reached the actual destination. At the entrance we were given clear instructions to follow the group through the narrow slots. The guide was just wonderful. Recognizing the need of the people to take pictures in their smartphones, Tori clearly asked to change the settings in our phone cameras appropriately (iPhone or Android). Upon entering the slot we were shown each vantage point and the name of the formations given to each one of them. She even helped us adjust the phone angle to get the right views and formations. All questions were informatively answered. To some it may seem a bit too orchestrated BUT given the crowds that throng this place, and they being the only tour operator in charge, they do this commendably well. I would gladly recommend this tour and the tour operator any day. NOTE: They operate only for the Upper Antelope Canyon. The lower one is by a different operator.

Definitely must visit! Antelope Canyon is so amazing and beautiful place! Lower Canyon is about 4 times bigger than Upper one. You can go in the canyon only with authorized tour because of safety reasons. A little bit expensive but it’s worth it. Our tour was about 1 hour and our guide told us some information about the canyon. He also took our pictures in the most beautiful places. Be careful with time, Antelope Canyon is in MST (UTC -7). It’s not allowed to take bags with you. Also it’s better to plan your visit in the morning or at least until 2-3 pm, cause it will be very hot.

Had a really nice tour here in February 2019. After arriving at the office the friendly staff gave us the tickets and 30 minutes later we departed by shuttle to the canyon. Drive lasts 20 minutes, 10 on highway, ten on dirt road. After arriving at the canyon our really nice guide, a female, told us a lot of interesting facts about the spot. While the walk through the canyon, which lasts about 45 minutes, she takes care that everyone could took his photo without crossing people, and she helped us taking good photos. Everything was very nice!

7/31/2019 Yesterday's tour with this company was by far the worst tour I've been on ever. Sadly, this wasn't the first tour I took with this company. I had taken two tours with the same company three years ago (upper canyon and lower canyon tour), and had a good experience back then. But this time, I thought I was with a completely different company, given how awful the experience was. Despite our guide telling us to "take as many pictures as we can"...the tour guide rushed our party of 6 through the canyon. We didn't even have any time to enjoy the canyon let alone take any decent pictures. The quality of tours this company offers fell off a cliff given how many tours they now pack in a day and how frequently they stack tours against each either .... On the way back, some tour guides from this company were yelling at people to hurry up...like they were herding cattle. This was just an awful and unpleasant experience. It definitely was not worth the $65+/person price, and considering it was the entire purpose of our vacation, it wasted most of our trip to Arizona. We were going to spend more money on a lower canyon tour...But we decided against using this company... Yes, it was that bad. Find a different company for the tour.. It can't be worse than this one....

We spent $150 (for two) to joined the tour at (11:30 am), we asked politely at the best spot of the canyon to the tour guide in orange group to help us taking a picture.. and she refused. She told us we had enough and yell in front of the whole group to move forward. While, at the same time she helps other customers and took them 2-4 times each family. She was so unfair. IT IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMER. it’s only a three-second job. We’re very very disappointed with her. It was once in a lifetime experience for us... other than that, the tour was ok. beautiful & amazing view..worth to see..

antelope canyon tour ekis

roxane roxane

Well, the canyon is beautiful and it is something to see, I cannot deny it. However, to me it feels like a rip-off. We paid $60 per person to spend roughly 90 minutes in the canyon stuck between two other groups. The guide was nice but he explained bearly nothing and just kept on offering to take pictures of us - which I don't really care about. We could clearly see that he was only doing it for tips at the end. I asked some questions and really felt like he didn't know much about the place. 60$ seems expensive for an Instagram post... I think guides are just there to regulate the flow of people and make sure that there is no traffic jam but that's it. So if you are looking for a type of tour to get some good pictures for social media and show that "you were there", it is for you - otherwise...

Fantastic to visit this place. Nothing prepared us for the cold at 8am on a January morning! It is mad stunning as all the pictures you see. Tour is managed well given the number of people who move through the canyon. It was great that our guide pointed out the best spots for photos and how to take them. This was a bucket list item for us, and we really enjoyed it.

This place is amazing! Truly shows how magnificent nature could be.. Just a few dings I need to point out is that 1st- Give the tours or people proper time to take pictures rather than telling us hurry up.. if we were taking 5mins per shot then yea I get it, but our tour guide was like 5secs and we're moving forward... 2nd- the trip going to the cave would be nice if there were air mists in the back since he closed our windows lol we were dying on a 110° weather back there... other than that, it was an amazing experience and will definitely come back.. on a cooler weather and hopefully not rushed tour guide.

First time ever visiting Antelope Canyon and it was breathtaking! We had a Friday 7 am tour and I was worried about the lighting, because I heard afternoon was best for pictures, but it was actually perfect. The tour felt intimate, because most of the visitors choose to come midday/afternoon and we got to wander around without another groups. We were not interrupted and got to take a lot of beautiful pictures. Our tour guide Ricky Bedoni was outstanding , he educated us about the Canyon, facts and events and also gave us great photo taking tips and was more than happy to take our photos. The Antelope canyon was beautiful, but our tour guide made this experience unforgettable !!!

So beautiful and fun. Lynnette (sorry if I spelled the name wrong) was an AMAZING guide. She filled us in on every detail, including the best settings to use on our camera phones (no matter the kind) and even took a majority of the photos for us. Be sure to read the confirmation email that is sent to you after booking online because there are regulations on what you can and cannot bring, so they offer helpful tips. The ride in was a bit bumpy and dusty but not uncomfortable or very long. Definitely bring a bandana or scarf for around your face and use the bathroom at the check in location before you go.

I only write best and worst reviews. We took the 1:30pm tour with our 2 years old today and couldn’t be more disappointed. The lady staff just kept pushing us forward and wouldn’t wait. We understand the canyon is narrow with lots of people inside and tried to be quick with holding a “terrible two “but we felt so bad to be pushed a lot. We traveled a lot with our little one across the country and had never had a problem before. People care and help. We travel to let our little one see wonderful places, and also , wonderful people. Though the schedule making is very smooth and they replied super fast to your emails.

We really enjoyed the lower antelope canyon tour. Our guide, Dasia, was excellent, professional, and helpful. I did the tour with my 2 and 4 year old, and they had no difficulties on the track, except in the departure lounge! We told them that the staircases and narrow passages were like the stairs of a large slide by our park, and they loved it. I did have to carry my youngest from the departure building to the first set of stairs as he was hesitant to play in the sand. By the time we finished the tour, he didn't want to stop playing in the sand. This tour is best viewed at lunch time in sunny weather. We had great visible colors during the last week of January, despite technically being 'off-peak' season. The lower antelope slot canyons are closed if there is any rain in the forecast locally or anywhere 25 miles upstream.

I absolutely loved this tour! We saw upper Antelope Canyon and it was beautiful! I would of rated this tour a 5 star if the tour truck had a window shield to protect us from the wind and cold. The company should have their trucks equipped with them and be able to open and close them depending on the weather, other than that, it was great!

The canyon is definitely nice. The organization of the tour was perfect. Well organized staff, great and efficient guide. The price, we find, is really high, for just having an hour in the canyon. Hard to understand such costs. The time was sufficient though. We can recommend this tour operator.

antelope canyon tour ekis

The Canyon is great! It is also one of the things that the community can make money of so as many tourists as possible are basically rushed through the canyon. Take your time to appreciate the canyon itself and do not pay to much attention to the "picture workshop" and you're gonna be fine.

My husband and I took the 7 am trip! It was chilly (50 degrees), but the ride was quick and we were seated 7 in the back, so we were comfortable! Tori was our guide! She was amazing! The beauty of this canyon is astonishing. I will definitely visit again. This site is only accessible with tour guides. My tour had 2 guides (one was learning) both very nice, knowledgeable and available to answer questions. Also, since the guides knew very well the canyon, they provided suggestions on how to take memorable pictures, because it's not easy due to the light. The canyon is divided in upper and lower. I did both tours and I highly recommend them. There are different packages available to visit this place. My suggestion is to buy the one that only includes upper and lower canyon. The boat tour is not worth the money nor the time.

Not as busy or crowded as Antelope Canyon. Smaller, more intimate with lots of extra time built in for photographing.

If you expect for $60 : - no cover means on trucks You are in trouble when: it is cold rain/snow sand in mouth wind during delivery to the spot - very short tour - shy guide which can hint you which filter to use, instead of stories about cannyon - no turn lights at trucks - no apologuze for anything - tour started at 8.20 instead of 8.00, all people were at the place at 7.30-7-45 - don't expect a lot of time for photos This is your company to do your business Would recommend to choose other companies, saw one just cross the road

antelope canyon tour ekis

I gave it a 3-star because the front desk girl who checked us in was extremely rude and unhelpful. When an issue came up during check-in, she gave me a very rude look and simply said "okay" (in a sarcastic way), and turned her head to the next guest. She did not care to help me solve my issue even though my family and I followed their email instruction closely. The experience was saved by our tour guide who was extremely patient and accommodating. He speaks multiple languages (Japanese, Chinese, Spanish) and showed us how to take photos of the canyon at the best lighting and angle. He was also gentle at reminding everyone to pick up the pace, compared to rude comments from other tour guides. Unfortunately, this level of professionalism is not matched by other guides based on my observation. The woman who was leading the group behind us was not only rushing her own group to keep moving and hurry up, she also impatiently asked my father (who was not in her tour group) to stop taking photos and "get out of there" - her exact words (there as in the spot my father was standing in the canyon). I found that confusing because there was enough space for everyone including her group to stand there, and my father was not blocking anyone. Overall, I think 3-star is a fair rating for this experience. If you are willing to spend 60 USD per person, be prepared for a mediocre (and most likely) rushed and commercialized experience, and most importantly, be prepared to be talked to impolitely by their staff.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Breathtaking view! 一生懸命come here once you live Won't regret.

antelope canyon tour ekis

The place was amazing and our tour guide, Scott, was excellent. Check-in was easy and the 15-20 minute drive out was fine even in January. The jeeps have clear heavy duty plastic siding so the ride is not uncomfortable. We were on the 1:30 pm tour and the light was fantastic. The guides will give you history of each part of the canyon and Scott will take pictures for you. Highly recommend visiting the Upper Canyon, and using Antelope Canyon Tours.

I absolutely recommend doing an Upper Antelope Canyon tour with this company. You can tell that a lot of thought and planning went in to make sure that visitors get the most out of the experience. They talk about the history of the canyon, show you how and where to take the best photos, and time the different groups perfectly so you have space to move around and explore.

antelope canyon tour ekis

David Berndt

Really enjoyed the spectacular beauty of the canyon. While light is supposedly best around noon early was better as there were less people

antelope canyon tour ekis

This is a beautiful place! The 7 am tour was fantastic because there were so few tour groups heading in. And I could see how crowded it was getting as we were heading out. It’s darker in the canyon but still amazing.

antelope canyon tour ekis

Olivier FREMOND

Very nice guide, great photo tips and friendly person. The canyon itself is a bit crowded but you can't avoid that and most pictures you'll be taking are going to be looking up. DSLR users : not much light and not much time so it's hard to make those 1" shots, so you should really consider the photo tour to be able to use a tripod.

Yes the caves are beautiful. But there are hundreds of people in the cave at once. Looses all the magic. An instagrammer sweat house

This was the best part of my day in entire trip . Simply wow location...i couldn't capture entire canyon but i have few pics here....if anyone has opportunity to visit this place, please don't miss. antelope canyon tour ekis

Alfonso Moreno

The canyon is awesome but these guys are just three for the money. They should do it in a different way and make it more personal. You can't even move inside the canyon, not because it's not too wide but because there is just too many people inside at any time of the day :( don't pay the professional photo tour, you just have one minute to take a picture. They should definitely do it in a different way, this is not the way to show nature to the world

antelope canyon tour ekis

Fairly priced, easy to book, manageable group sizes. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Can get a little hectic if you're returning from a tour and need to use the bathroom, but everyone from the outgoing tour is using it instead. I'd definitely recommend booking with this tour company.

I just felt a little rushed sometime and you can not stop at all when you return back.

Me and my family had a tour on Apr. 18 1:30pm, sorry I can't recall name of the tour guide but he was doing so much favor for most of us(he instructed and demonstrated how to take breathtaking photos) and he has a good sense of humor but never offensive kind. My family was happy and satisfied so I'll say the experience worth my money

antelope canyon tour ekis

Louis Hoyez

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been... However... I really don't like the way the tours are done, guides are taught how to get the best angles for pictures and we didn't get that much info about the canyon. Everyone in your group then just got exactly the same pictures... Might be nice for some but definitely not my kind of tourism.

A tour of Antelope Canyon is a must if you're in the Page, AZ vicinity. The sandstone natural landscape is like the 8th Wonder of the World. This is nature at its' best. The guide from Antelope Canyon Tours was very knowledgeable and gave you information so you better understood the canyon. Tours book up weeks, months in advance. Go to their website and book a tour. This is a trip everyone should take!!!!!

antelope canyon tour ekis

This place really worth visiting. You can only visit this place through guided tours. So you can book the tour in advance and they start the tour promptly, as such you don't really have to wait for too long so long you are there on time for the registration. The view of this place is so unique that you cannot find it anywhere else and it is truly breathtaking.

Antelope Canyon is one of nature’s many natural wonders located in Page, Arizona. It’s a slot canyon formed by the erosion of Navajo sandstone, primarily due to flash flooding and wind. The result is narrow passageways that make you feel like you stepped into another world! Ken’s Tours has a long and significant history in the preservation and conservation of this area. Our mission is to protect and manage tours in Lower Antelope Canyon while providing an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Our core values stem from a solid foundation of customer service and safety and from the careful inclusion of our Navajo culture that we share with all our visitors.

A guide leading a kens tours group

Ken’s Tours is a Family Affair

Ken’s Tours is more than just a business; it’s a family affair deeply rooted in the history of Antelope Canyon tourism. Founded in 1994 by Kenneth and Emily Young, the company traces its origins back to 1992 when Kenneth and his siblings began leading tours into Lower Antelope Canyon.

Initially, the siblings took turns guiding visitors through the stunning canyon daily. However, recognizing the growing demand for guided tours and the potential to share their knowledge of this landmark and Navajo history, Kenneth and Emily officially established Ken’s Tours LLC in 1994.

Stairs into antelope canyon

The Tragic 1997 Flash Flood

In August of 1997, 11 people tragically perished during a flash flood at Lower Antelope. Kenneth’s brother and wife were taking tours that fateful day. Navajo Nation closed down the area to visitors for a year. Due to national coverage of the accident, Lower Antelope became a site of interest, and people started to trespass into the canyon. This led to vandalism, littering, and desecration of the area, where people graffitied and built campfires inside, causing damage to the canyon walls.

Antelope Canyon

Preservation Amidst Peril

Because of the vandalism, the Navajo Nation asked Kenneth and Emily directly to open up tours again so they could watch over and preserve Lower Antelope Canyon. Kenneth had one very strong and important condition – he would do so if they allowed him to build metal stairwells bolted throughout the canyon walls to allow for a quicker and safer exit throughout Lower Antelope Canyon.

Ken wanted to make sure that tragedy never occurred again and wanted to ensure the safety of all the guests who chose Ken’s Tours to visit Antelope Canyon.

People stepping down into Antelope Cayon

The Birth of Ken’s Tours LLC

Navajo Nation agreed to let Kenneth build the stairwells to prevent the tragic event of August 1997 from happening again. Kenneth, his son Kenny Young, and his son-in-law Lloyd Pahi built the original stairwells. Shortly after, they were allowed to operate as the sole operator for Lower Antelope and re-opened their business as Ken’s Tours.

Since then, one other operator was allowed to open their business at Lower Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, operated by Kenneth’s sister Dixie Ellis. Together they work closely to ensure the canyon and surrounding area is protected and preserved while allowing safe and educational tours for visitors.

Preserving the Past, Present, and Future

Ken’s Tours is not the only company that works in Lower Antelope Canyon. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours also works in the same area and is committed to preserving Antelope Canyon’s rich heritage and natural beauty. Antelope Canyon formed thousands of years ago, and it’s important to safeguard this landmark for future generations to explore.

Through close cooperation, Ken’s Tours and Lower Antelope Canyon Tours have implemented many measures to ensure the safety of visitors while minimizing the impact on the canyon’s fragile environment. This includes responsible tour management practices, such as limiting group sizes, adhering to designated trails, and providing trained guides who highlight the respect for the canyon’s cultural and ecological significance.

Moreover, both companies actively engage in conservation initiatives to protect Antelope Canyon’s delicate ecosystem. This includes ongoing efforts to monitor and mitigate erosion, promote responsible tourism practices, and support local environmental initiatives.

As a guardian of Antelope Canyon, Ken’s Tours has played a vital role in promoting responsible tourism practices and environmental conservation efforts. Through close collaboration with Lower Antelope Canyon Tours, the Navajo community, and other stakeholders, Ken’s Tours has prioritized visitor safety and the preservation of the canyon’s natural beauty. Ken’s Tours takes pride in telling the stories that this slot canyon holds to visitors from around the world.
