Our Great Team

Meet the team.

With more than 60 years combined experience, the founding members of 360 Corporate Travel offer a wealth of travel expertise. Our professional skills combine Information Technology, Accountancy, Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service and, of course, Corporate Travel. We offer the full 360 experience!

Simplicity is a word not often used in the travel industry. We are a group of highly experienced travel professionals who know the industry and its frustrations inside and out. Our aim is to make travel arrangements simple, streamlined, efficient, and transparent.

I was first introduced to Richard Waddington some eight years ago. Richard has provided an exemplary service to not only myself and my team, but also to my company as a whole. From my perspective as myself and my team are responsible for booking travel for the entire company (some 600 staff) with the help of Richard, this job has been carried out with professionalism and efficiency. Richard understands that my company needs to keep costs low and he strives to get us the best deals, wherever possible. Richard is also fully aware that we book lots of last minute travel yet he always provides an excellent and speedy service. I would not hesitate in recommending Richard Waddington to any company that is looking for an efficient, professional and courteous service.

Richard Waddington has looked after the travel arrangements of both my business and my family for 10 years. When Richard changed from his previous company it was an easy decision for me to move with him.

Richard is available to assist with my travel requirements 7 days a week. He offers an immediate response to all of my queries no matter what time of day or day of the week. Richard anticipates my needs and is aware of me and my families travel requirements and always delivers in a friendly and timely manner. Richard is a competent travel manager and will offer various options or routes to ensure the most competitive airfare is offered on complex bookings.

I have no hesitation in recommending his services for both personal and business travel.

We have been clients of Richard Waddington since 2008. When he left his previous company there was never any question in my mind that we should not follow him to his new company.

Richard has a close working relationship with our CEO who travels extensively all around the world. He works competently with our upper management department and yet he manages to retain a great sense of humour when dealing with our admin staff. He is highly thought of within our company and although my other team members don’t travel as often as my CEO, they will always call on Richard for assistance, especially whilst travelling abroad and I’m not to hand to help them out.

His service is fast and he anticipates our needs. He’s aware of how various flight agencies work and is always happy to recommend a better route in order to maximise costings, which make our finance department happy.

As the CEO’s executive assistant, I see Richard as an integral part of my team. I would highly recommend him for all your travel needs, be it abroad or locally.

Julian Assange flies out of UK on $500,000 private jet after being freed in US plea deal

The WikiLeaks founder landed in Bangkok on his way to US territory after leaving the UK via Stansted on Monday. The release on his website of secret US government documents in 2010 made Assange notorious and sparked more than a decade's worth of legal battles.

The chartered plane landed at a Bangkok airport for refueling ahead of his court appearance on Wednesday 26 June 2024.

Julian Assange is travelling to his native Australia on a private jet after US authorities agreed to drop their demand for the WikiLeaks founder to be extradited from the UK having struck a plea deal with him.

Assange had to pay $500,000 (£394,000) for a chartered flight from Stansted to Saipan, the capital of the Northern Mariana Islands - a US commonwealth in the Pacific - where he will plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defence information.

In exchange he will be sentenced to time served - the 62 months he has already spent in a British prison - according to court documents.

Once the guilty plea has been accepted by a judge, the 52-year-old will be free to return to Australia, the country of his birth.

The chartered flight stopped in Bangkok for refuelling on its way to Saipan.

Assange is accompanied by a WikiLeaks lawyer, a representative of the Australian government and a medic to check on his health.

American prosecutors had alleged Assange put lives at risk when he helped former US Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning steal diplomatic cables and military files WikiLeaks put online in 2010.

He had been locked in a legal battle in the UK over his extradition, which included him entering the Ecuadorean Embassy in London in 2012 prior to his detention in Belmarsh prison - where he has been since May 2019.

'Julian is free!'

In a post on X, WikiLeaks said Assange left Belmarsh on Monday morning after being granted bail by the High Court. By the afternoon he was at Stansted Airport where he boarded a plane and left the UK.

"After more than five years in a 2x3 metre cell, isolated 23 hours a day, he will soon reunite with his wife Stella Assange, and their children, who have only known their father from behind bars," the organisation said.

Mrs Assange shared on social media a video montage of her husband in a car and then boarding a plane.

She wrote: "Julian is free!!!!

"Words cannot express our immense gratitude to YOU - yes YOU, who have all mobilised for years and years to make this come true. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU."

She posted on X to say Assange will owe $520,000 to the Australian government for the charter flight and asked for donations to help pay for it.

Speaking from Australia, Mrs Assange told the PA news agency: "It is hard to believe that Julian has been in prison for so long. It had become normalised. I am grateful to the people who made this possible but I am also angry that it ever came to this.

"Overall I am elated but I cannot believe it is actually happening until I see Julian."

Mrs Assange said her husband would not have been released without the intervention of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who has been increasingly vocal in his demands for the US to drop charges against Assange.

"The public climate has shifted and everyone understands that Julian has been the victim," she said.

"Things are still very sensitive. Julian is paying for the flight so we will launch a fundraising campaign."

She said she had travelled to Australia with the couple's two young sons, Gabriel and Max, on Sunday when it became clear Assange would be freed.

Assange's plea and sentencing on Saipan are scheduled for Wednesday morning local time (Tuesday evening UK time).

The hearing is taking place in the US Commonwealth territory because of Assange's opposition to travelling to one of the 50 US states and the court's proximity to Australia.

Assange's brother Gabriel Shipton told Sky News this morning the WikiLeaks founder is "overwhelmed to be out of prison".

Mr Shipton added: "He's been on a plane for a very long time now... I've been speaking to him this week and just going through all the details with him.

"He's been very anxious, very excited, and he's looking forward to spending time with his family and being free, being able to have the sun shining on his face, see the birds, go for a swim in the ocean back in Australia.

"He's very much looking forward to that."

Craig Murray, a friend of Assange, told Sky News the news was "absolutely wonderful".

He said: "The whole family is totally elated that we have finally got an end to this terrible saga."

Mr Murray said the entire ordeal has been "very taxing" on Assange with his imprisonment taking a toll on both his physical and mental health.

He added: "We are lucky that he is a very resilient man and he will recover and we will get our Julian fully back."

Simon Crowther, Amnesty International's legal adviser, said: "We welcome the news that Julian Assange is to be released, as we believe he should never have been imprisoned like this in the first place.

"The fight to protect freedom of expression continues though. The years-long global spectacle of the prosecution of a publisher for revealing alleged war crimes, crimes against humanity and other human rights violations has undoubtedly done historic damage."

A more than decade-long fight

Assange has been fighting extradition to the US for more than a decade.

Anthony Albanese: 'We want Julian Assange brought home to Australia'

In a January 2021 ruling, then district judge Vanessa Baraitser said he should not be sent to the US, citing a real and "oppressive" risk of suicide, while ruling against him on all other issues.

Later that year, US authorities won a High Court bid to overturn this block, paving the way towards Assange's extradition.

In June 2022, the UK government approved the extradition of Assange to the US, with then home secretary Priti Patel having signed the extradition order.

Why has the US dropped the extradition demand?

The US formally asked the UK to extradite Julian Assange to face charges that he conspired to hack government computers and violated an espionage law in 2019.

After five years, this request has been dropped, with the US having come to a plea deal with the WikiLeaks founder - but why now?

Former CIA chief of staff, Larry Pfeiffer, says it is not unusual for these sorts of espionage cases to be adjudicated through plea deals.

"In these sorts of cases justice may not be the only issue that needs to be dealt with," he told Sky News.

Mr Pfeiffer said if the case ever went to trial it would have risked "sources and methods" that the US military and government use being exposed.

"[This case] also served as a thorn in UK-US relations and US-Australian relations," he added.

"It was creating issues surrounding what we all love, which is liberty and freedom of the case. By resolving this we resolved some of those troublesome issues."

Mr Pfeiffer says overall he thinks the plea deal is a "win, win".

In February of this year, he made one final attempt under UK law to avoid being sent to the US.

In March, Dame Victoria Sharp and Mr Justice Johnson dismissed most of Assange's legal arguments - but said unless assurances were given by the US, he would be able to bring an appeal on three grounds.

These assurances were that Assange would be protected by and allowed to rely on the First Amendment - which protects freedom of speech in the US - that he would not be "prejudiced at trial" due to his nationality and the death penalty would not be imposed.

Three months later, in May, two High Court judges ruled he would be allowed to appeal against being extradited , would not face the death penalty and he could rely on the First Amendment if he faced a trial for spying.

The Australian government said it continues to provide consular assistance to Assange.

"Prime Minister Albanese has been clear - Mr Assange's case has dragged on for too long and there is nothing to be gained by his continued incarceration," a spokesperson said.

Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence said his wife, the Princess Royal, is ‘recovering slowly’ as he left a Bristol hospital after visiting his wife.

After spending two-and-a-half hours with Princess Anne, he said ‘She’ll be out when she’s ready.’

She has been in the hospital for three nights now after falling at her property in Gloucestershire earlier this week.

The 73-year-old will miss several engagements this week, including the state banquet and an overseas tour to  Canada , which was due to start this weekend.

Elsewhere, King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the Japanese Emperor and Empress’ at Buckingham Palace last night.

The banquet held at Buckingham Palace also saw Charles reference Pokémon and Hello Kitty – two of Japan ’s most famous pop culture exports.

Prince William was the ‘coolest motherf*****’, Travis Kelce says

The Prince of Wales met Kelce after Taylor Swift's concert in Wembley (Picture: Reuters)

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend has said the Prince of Wales was the ‘coolest motherf*****’ after meeting the future King backstage at Wembley.

Travis Kelce added: ‘He was awesome.’

He did joke that he wasn’t sure of the royal protocol when meeting the royal – saying he wasn’t sure if he should bow, curtsy or ‘just be an American idiot and shake his hand’.

Travis’ brother, Jason, observed that Travis had never given someone that much respect, joking: ‘You put your beer, like, 10 feet away from you.

‘They were wonderful people, and that’s what it’s about. You know? Part of a monarchy, royalty. Hard to be a down to earth human being, I would assume. But came off that way completely.’

Travis added: ‘Very genuine, very cool.’

In the latest episode of their podcast, the Kelce brothers recalled meeting the young British royals after Taylor Swift’s concert at Wembley Stadium.

Travis and Jason, both NFL players, met Charlotte and George along with their dad William after the show. Travis is currently dating Taylor.

Jason said: ‘I gotta say, Prince William was fantastic, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte. Prince George was great too. She was so f—— adorable. Like, I cannot…’

‘She was a superstar,’ Travis added.

Jason, who has three daughters of his own, said of Charlotte: ‘She had fire to her. She was asking questions.’

Travis said: ‘I love it when parents ask their kids to be present, be vocal… Encourage them to take a lead in the conversation.’

Student asks Camilla: ‘Are you the Queen?’

During her visit to a primary school in Chelsea today, a smiling student asked Camilla if she was the Queen.

Camilla smiled and responded: ‘That’s me.’

She was also shown a mosaic portrait of the King which was created by the children and an artist for the coronation.

She walked up to the portrait and said: ‘My goodness, that’s really good. How’s my husband?’

The Queen is visiting Christ Church CofE primary school in Chelsea today to hear about a literary festival where students are sponsored to read books.

Students were photographed curtseying in front of the smiling Queen as she arrived at the school gates this morning.

The festival runs until July 5, and sees children sponsored by family and friends to read as many books as possible.

Camilla will join an assembly, where she will see a performance from the school’s choir, and hear from two students about their favourite books.

Meghan’s new lifestyle brand to ‘sell rosé wine’

Meghan could release wine under her new brand (Picture: Getty)

Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard , is reportedly going to sell a line of wines.

An insider has teased that the company’s latest product is set to be a ‘big money spinner’.

Announced in March, details of the brand are sparse, but a trademark filing includes cookbooks, cutlery, linens, table cloths, jams, jellies and nut butters.

A second  international filing  is even more extensive, covering stationery, garden tools, lights, tote bags and pet collars as well as a vast other variety of homeware.

The three family members that can tell Princess Anne to ‘behave’

Princess Anne is known for being strong willed (Picture: MEGA)

As Princess Anne continues to undergo treatment for her injury at her Gloucestershire home earlier this week, it’s been revealed what three family members are able to make her ‘behave’.

Medics who treated Anne at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following a chest infection in 2016 recalled the Princess Royal wanted to ‘get up and go home’.

But she only listened to three people who told her to take the nurse’s advice to rest and recover.

They include her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, and her two children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall.

A medical worker told the Mail: ‘The best advice is to keep her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, or one of the children on hand. They’re the only people who can tell her to behave.’

The Princess Royal is expected to be discharged from hospital soon, and was visited by her husband and daughter yesterday.

Harry and Meghan can’t visit Australia on their ‘world tour’, royal expert claims

The Duke and Duchess previously visited Nigeria (Picture: Getty)

Reports that Harry and Meghan are planning a wider ‘world tour’ after their unofficial visit to Nigeria have been slammed, with one royal expert saying the pair cannot visit Australia.

Louise Roberts told Sky News : ‘In May, after Nigeria, and that was a successful faux royal tour for them, let’s face it, Harry made the comment they want to do more of this.

‘(Harry and Meghan) are obsessed with privacy but a world tour is a direct contradiction. They can’t go where Charles and Camilla will go – they can’t go to Australia.’

The King and Queen are planning to tour Australia in October in a slimmed down visit, due to Charles’ ongoing cancer battle.

Artist who painted portrait of the late Queen portrays Prince Harry and Meghan as historic royals

Dan Llywelyn has painted many royal portraits (Picture: PA)

An artist who was the youngest to paint a portrait of the late Queen has unveiled a series of new works, including pieces depicting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as historic royals.

Dan Llywelyn Hall was just 32 when he was commissioned by the Welsh Rugby Union to create the portrait of Elizabeth II, with the monarch sitting for him at Windsor Castle in 2012.

The artist’s royal works have since included a portrait marking William becoming a father, a live painting of the state funeral of the late Queen, and Charles’s coronation procession.

He has now produced 10 new portraits inspired by royalty throughout history for the Society of Antiquaries, with artist Adam Dant painting a further 10 works.

Prince Harry was made to look like Bonnie Prince Charlie (Picture: PA)

Two pieces by Llywelyn Hall feature contemporary royals Meghan, portrayed as Dame Elizabeth Grey, Queen of England by marriage, and Harry, depicted as Charles Edward Stuart, otherwise known as Bonnie Prince Charlie.

He said: ‘The royal family is possibly the most enthralling longest-running drama in history, the inspiration of theatre, books and every art form.

‘It seemed that these figures caught on the knife edge of public opinion were ideal for drawing comparisons from distant monarchs – like the exiled princes and princesses of the past, that lurk in the background but are still irrevocably tied to the job.

‘We can’t help ourselves and wonder whatever next?’

Climate activists covered private jets in orange paint in a Taylor Swift-inspired stunt, but didn't get her plane

  • Two climate activists were arrested after appearing to target Taylor Swift's jet.
  • The activists broke into London's Stansted Airport and sprayed two jets with orange paint.
  • Swift's jet wasn't at the airport at the time.

Insider Today

Two climate activists from the Just Stop Oil group were arrested after covering private jets in orange paint in a Taylor Swift -inspired stunt.

A video posted on X on Thursday showed the two activists breaking into a private airfield at London's Stansted Airport — where they claimed Swift's jet was parked — before spraying two jets with paint.

However, a representative for Stansted Airport told Business Insider that Swift's jet wasn't at the airport when the incident occurred.

It's possible that Swift's aircraft originally landed at the airport before being moved. According to flight tracking data cited by The Independent , Swift's Falcon 7x landed at Stansted at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for Essex Police told BI that a 22-year-old from Brighton, England, and a 25-year-old from Dumbarton, Scotland, had been arrested "on suspicion of criminal damage and interference with the use or operation of national infrastructure."

They were detained shortly after 5:10 a.m. on Thursday morning, the statement added.

"We are not anti-protest but we will always take action where criminal acts take place," Chief Superintendent Simon Anslow said in a statement obtained by BI.

The protesters belonged to Just Stop Oil, a climate campaign group that has defaced famous artwork and landmarks, which most recently included spraying Stonehenge with orange paint.

A representative for Just Stop Oil confirmed to BI that the planes doused in paint did not belong to Swift.

They said the protest was "generally targeted at private planes," though the two people involved likely believed Swift's aircraft was at the airport.

The representative said the group singled out Swift's aircraft in its social media post because it is "the most emitting" of all celebrity private jets and because they believed that Stansted is where she usually keeps her private jet while in London.

BI previously reported that the singer spent more than 166 hours traveling in private jets between March and August of 2023 for the first leg of her widely popular Eras Tour.

However, according to a study by My Climate Tracker , cited by The Tab , Travis Scott was the celebrity with the most private jet use in 2023. The rapper took 137 flights, resulting in 6,061,300 kg of CO2 emissions, according to The Tab.

Meanwhile, Swift wasn't among the top 30 celebrities with the most private jet use in 2023, the outlet said.

That's a stark contrast to 2022.

According to Yard , a UK-based sustainability marketing firm, Swift produced the most CO2 emissions of all celebrities in 2022, with 170 flights and an average flight time of 80 minutes.

A spokesperson for Swift previously told BI that her jet is "loaned out regularly to other individuals" and to attribute most of the trips to the singer alone is "blatantly incorrect."

The singer's spokesperson also previously said she had purchased carbon credits to offset her jet use.

Swift is in London for the UK leg of the Eras Tour . She is expected to perform three sold-out shows at Wembley before returning in August for additional shows.
