The Zumiez Couch Tour 2008 features skateboarding demos by pros Eric Koston, Andrew Reynolds, Erik Ellington, Mark Appleyard, Darrell Stanton, and many more. The Zumiez Couch Tour 2008 also offers free live music performances by bands including Alkaline Trio , Scary Kids Scaring Kids , Bayside , Year Long Disaster , and Jamie Lynn’s band Kandi Coded .

The tour hits 12 cities with skate demos from Baker, C1RCA, Element, Enjoi, Flip, Lakai and Volcom. Admission to tour stops is free and includes prizes and giveaways from Zumiez Couch Tour 2008 promotional partners TransWorld Skateboarding, New Era, and Boosted/Boost Mobile, a youth lifestyle brand that offers premium pre-paid wireless phones and services. The events also feature skate team autograph signings, an interactive festival area, space food, killer clowns, and more.

Everett, WA, May 16, 2011- Zumiez, a leading specialty action sports retailer, is coming to a town near you this summer for the 11th Annual Zumiez Couch Tour. The Zumiez Couch Tour 2011 features skateboarding demos by pros Mark Appleyard, Tom Asta, Mike Mo Capaldi, Chris Cole, Erik Ellington, Cairo Foster, David Gonzalez, Terry Kennedy, PJ Ladd, Lizard King, Billy Marks, Guy Mariano, Rodney Mullen, Chad Muska, Luan Oliveira, Torey Pudwill, Paul Rodriguez, Leo Romero, Tommy Sandoval, Daewon Song, Jamie Thomas, Nick Trapasso, Stevie Williams, and many more.*

The Zumiez Couch Tour also offers free live music performances by bands including Forever The Sickest Kids, I See Stars, Valencia and Anarbor on the Skullcandy stage.

A highlight of all tour stops is the 5th Annual Zumiez Best Foot Forward Am Contest Series 2011 Presented by BONES WHEELS, a jam format contest that is “ a matter of life and limb” for up and coming skaters. The Best Foot Forward series starts on May 13th in Milwaukee, WI, with four additional renegade stops taking place in Indianapolis, IN on May 18th, Tulsa, OK on May 21st, Phoenix, AZ on May 24th, Las Vegas, NV on May 25th, and then meets up with all 12 stops of the Zumiez Couch Tour. Each Best Foot Forward stop includes a local open qualifier for the first 20 skaters to pre-register online at www.zumiezbestfootforward.com < http://www.zumiezbestfootforward.com > . The top amateur skater from each of the 17 Best Foot Forward contest stops will get airlifted with an all expense paid trip to the Zumiez Couch Tour’s final stop in Bloomington, MN, to compete in the Best Foot Forward Finals on July 1st, 2011. BONES WHEELS has stepped it up this year and will give the finalists the chance to compete for a spot on the BONES WHEELS flow team for one year as well as a part in their 2011 Am video. The top three skaters will earn an all-expense-paid trip to compete at the 7th Annual Hometown Heroes Finals at X Games 17 in Los Angeles, CA.

When National Go Skate day meets the Zumiez Couch Tour, an all day party will ensue.

When Go Skateboarding Day meets the Zumiez Couch Tour, an all day party will ensue. The 13th annual Zumiez Couch Tour is a free touring festival that brings the best in buzz-worthy live music, pro skateboard demos, celebrity meet and greets, skateboard contests, DIY activities and prizes from amazing sponsors every summer. The 2013 tour will make stops in nine cities, including: Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Denver, Houston, Philadelphia, New York, Buffalo and Chicago. It will feature skateboarding demos and autograph signings from LRG, Volcom, Plan B, DGK, Adidas, Neff, Girl and Chocolate skate teams. You can catch the tour when it hits Philadelphia on Friday, June 21st from 12:30 pm – 6:30 pm at Paines Park –MLK Jr Dr. and the Ben Franklin Parkway. Prepare yourself for live performances from Mad Decent's own Riff Raff and California hardcore band Trash Talk.

The event also just happens to fall on Go Skateboarding Day so you can bet there will be live skateboarding demos by the Adidas Skateboarding Team: Dennis Busenitz, Jake Donnelly, Nestor Judkins, Rodrigo TX, Lem Villemin, Pete Eldridge and Benny Fairfax.
