Canadian Open 2024: How to Watch and Stream All the PGA Tour Golf From Anywhere
Nick Taylor looks to defend his crown as the Tour heads to the Hamilton Golf and Country Club.
Nick Taylor will try to make history once more as he looks to defend his title at the Canadian Open this weekend.
An epic 72-foot playoff putt saw Taylor clinch last year's title ahead of Tommy Fleetwood, a shot that saw him become the first Canadian to win this tournament since Pat Fletcher back in 1954.
Taylor's win last year ended a run of two wins in a row for Rory McIlroy, and the Irish star is being widely backed by the bookies to return to winning ways in this tournament alongside last year's runner-up, Fleetwood.
Keep reading to find out the best live TV streaming services to use to watch each day of the tournament live wherever you are in the world.
Nick Taylor carries Canada's hopes of another home win.

How to watch the the Canadian Open 2024 online from anywhere using a VPN
If you find yourself unable to view the tournament locally, you may need a different way to watch -- that's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.
With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the tournament. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, nonblackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN , make it really easy to do this.
Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.
Looking for other options? Be sure to check out some of the other great VPN deals taking place right now.
Best VPN for streaming
ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN, and it works on a variety of devices. It's normally $13 a month, but you can sign up for an annual subscription to ExpressVPN and get three months free for $100 -- the equivalent of $6.67 a month, and a savings of 49%.
Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Livestream the Canadian Open 2024 in the US

Watch comprehensive Canadian Open 2024 coverage in the US from $11 a month
ESPN's standalone streaming service costs $11 a month or $110 for an annual subscription. Read our ESPN Plus review .

Paramount Plus
Watch canadian open 2024 coverage in the us from $6 a month.
Paramount Plus has two main subscription plans in the US: Essential for $6 a month and Premium for $12 a month. Both offer coverage of the Canadian Open 2024.

Quick tips for streaming the Canadian Open 2024 using a VPN
- With four variables at play -- your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN -- your experience and success when streaming may vary.
- If you don't see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the "search for city or country" option.
- If you're having trouble getting the tournament after you've turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs -- like Roku -- don't have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you'll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you're using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
- All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network's sports app, you'll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
- And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you're using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave .

Bob MacIntyre responds to Rory McIlroy making his feelings clear ahead of US Open
Robert MacIntyre's career hit new heights last week as he lifted the Canadian Open title and he made clear the impact Rory McIlroy has had on his career and adjustment to life on the PGA Tour
- 06:00, 9 Jun 2024
Bob MacIntyre has made his feelings clear about Rory McIlroy after the Northern Irishman showed his class with a warm-hearted message at the Canadian Open.
McIlroy was chasing overnight leader MacIntyre at Hamilton Golf and Country Club last week, but after coming up short the four-time major champion had some kind words for the Scotsman, who was closing in on his first PGA Tour win.
McIntyre has been open about his struggles adjusting to life in America and on the PGA Tour after graduating from the DP World Tour last season. "I can absolutely understand, McIlroy told CBS. "It's a big culture shock compared to the place where he grew up in Oban.

"You know, travelling around America, it's a different world . Some people adapt a little quicker than others. Everyone has to try to find their right rhythm. It looks like Bob's still figuring that out. It would be great to see him hang on and get that first PGA Tour win."
McIntyre held his nerve, proving too good for the chasing pack as he edged out Ben Griffin by one stroke. And the 27-year-old made clear the impact McIlroy has had on his career, from inspiring him as a youngster to becoming a friend and a Ryder Cup teammate.
"He's been someone that I've looked up to for years," MacIntyre said. "Obviously, when I was I was still an amateur, I was watching him win majors, win PGA Tour events, win European Tour events.
For all the latest on news, politics, sports, and showbiz from the USA, go to The Mirror US .
"He was unbelievable and he still is. He is one of the best, if not the best of our generation. And he's someone that I feel like I could pick up the phone to and he's, he's open and honest with me and he'll help me. And to me, he’s just been an all-round, good guy to me and I just treat him like a friend rather than a work colleague or something. I just try and treat everyone the same and he's no different.
"I sat with him and Shane [Lowry] before they went out on the Sunday at the Zurich [Classic of New Orleans]. And they would both just ask me about how I was finding life in Orlando, and we're open and honest about it. He just it speaks to me and asks me life questions rather than golf questions."
MacIntyre decided to skip the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village this week, prioritising time at home with his family and his preparation for the US Open, which tees off at Pinehurst No. 2 on Thursday. Despite entering the tournament off the back off his maiden PGA Tour win, he will not change his approach in North Carolina.
"It's a major, it's a massive event, but for me, I try to treat it as another golf tournament," he said. "Obviously, I've been working hard on the fundamental side of the game and trying to let the outcome be the outcome and not try and win golf tournaments.
"[I] try and do everything that you can do that'll lead to winning golf tournaments, which I did last week and my job next week is to go out there and play golf and try to get into a position coming into the Sunday. Who knows where the cards fall?"

HAMILTON, Ontario (AP) — Robert MacIntyre — with father Dougie at his side as his caddie and a noisy television drone close by at times, too — held on to win the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday for his first PGA Tour title.
Four strokes ahead entering the final round at Hamilton Golf and Country Club, MacIntyre shot a 2-under 68 to beat playing partner Ben Griffin by a stroke. On the par-4 18th, the 27-year-old Scottish left-hander two-putted for par from 12 feet, holing out from 1 1/2 feet.
“Goose bumps. It’s incredible,” MacIntyre said. “It’s a dream of mine to play golf for a living. It’s been a dream of mine to win on the PGA Tour. ... I just can’t believe I done it with my dad on the bag. The guy’s taught me the way I play golf.”
MacIntyre finished at 16-under 264 for the breakthrough victory in his 45th career PGA Tour start. The former McNeese State player was a member of Europe’s winning 2023 Ryder Cup team and has two European tour victories, the 2020 Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown and 2022 Italian Open.
“I was in a dog fight there,” MacIntyre said. “Obviously, Ben made it difficult coming in the stretch. He played well. It’s just incredible to do this with my dad on the bag and have my girlfriend here and I’m sure there’s a party going on back home in Oban.”
MacIntyre was agitated by a television drone he thought was too close and loud.
“If it didn’t go away, I was going to start throwing my clubs at it,” MacIntyre said. “That’s how annoyed I was getting. ... I mean, it’s a big wasp. I asked them to get rid of it. They did.”
MacIntyre turned to his father on an emergency basis after going through a series of caddies in the last year.
“This week, when I phoned him to come and caddie for me, to be honest, I was just coming here to play a golf tournament,” MacIntyre said. “There was no expectation, there was a lot going on with visas and stuff during the week and to win it with him on the bag is just — to be honest, I still can’t believe that it happened.”
It was an emotional victory for the two.
“Everything that I’ve done in my life has been with the support of my family,” MacIntyre said. “The game of golf was kind of passed down the generations. I got it from my dad. ... We’ve got a house between where you cross the road for four holes over the road at Glencruitten and we used to go out every night in the summer, no matter the weather. Wwe would play four holes every night. He taught me the game of golf.”
Griffin had a 65. He parred the 18th after birdieing the previous three holes.
“I fought hard,” Griffin said. “It felt like there was a lid on the cup for most of the day for me. I hit so many pretty good putts, I wouldn’t say like striped putts, but pretty good putts and just kept burning edges. A couple bad putts, but stayed patient.”
Victor Perez of France was third at 14 under after his second straight 64.
Two-time Canadian Open champion Rory McIlroy also shot 64 to tie for fourth with Tom Kim (64) at 13 under. McIlroy won in 2019 the last time the tournament was in Hamilton and again in 2022 at St. George’s in Toronto.
“Three really good rounds of golf, one not so good one,” McIlroy said. “Felt a little out of sorts on Friday. Did a good range session and sort of rectified it.”
Corey Conners was the top Canadian, shooting a 65 to reach 12 under.
“Definitely something to be proud of,” Conners said. “Yeah, obviously disappointing to not win the big trophy, but, yeah, it’s a cool honor.
Fellow Canadian Mackenzie Hughes, tied for second entering the day, was another shot back after a 70.
“Pretty gutted,” Hughes saidf. “I wanted this one pretty badly. ... This one will sting for awhile.”
Last year at Oakdale in Toronto, Nick Taylor made a 72-foot eagle putt on the fourth hole of a playoff against Tommy Fleetwood to become the first Canadian to win the event since 1954.
