At a distance of 6 km from Rajgir Wildlife Safari, and 10 km from Rajgir Railway Station, the Nature Safari Park is a safari zone located in Rajgir, Bihar, India. Situated near Rajgir Zoo Safari Park, it is one of the must-visit places as part of Rajgir holiday packages. Developed by the department of forests, environment and climate change department with an expenditure of Rs 19 crore, the Nature Safari is spread over an area of 500 acres in the hills of Rajgir. It is located in thick jungles on RajgirJethian Buddha Marg. Opened in 2021, it is said to be the first of its kind in the country. The Nature Safari offers its visitors the unique experiences of glass skywalk, suspension bridge, adventure park, and butterfly zone. The site also has an archery range, rock climbing walls, wrestling zone, watchtower, and children's park. The 200- foot-high and 85-foot-long Glass Bridge is the main attraction of the Nature Safari. It will accommodate 40 visitors at a time. The bridge has been built on the lines of the 120- meter-high glass bridge in Hangzhou province of China. This is the first glass bridge in the country. Apart from recreational values, the Nature Safari will educate visitors about nature and the environment. Some cottages have also been developed at the Nature Safari, allowing visitors to hire them for a night stay. An eight-seater cabin car ropeway which has been developed recently by the state tourism will offer tourists a more convenient and much safer journey to the Vishwa Shanti Stupa atop the Ratnagiri hills at Rajgir. The 191-meter-long gondola ropeway has been installed by Rail India Technical and Economic Service. The new ropeway has 20 cars attached to it. The project has been implemented with an expenditure of over Rs 20 crore. The existing chair lift ropeway with 101 chairs attached to it was inaugurated along with Vishwa Shanti Stupa by the then President, V V Giri in 1969. Visitors can book the tickets for Rajgir Nature Safari online from the website- rajgirzoosafari.in. Only about 25 percent of the tickets will be booked from the online website. Enter the following information in the form: Full Name, Email ID, Aadhar / PAN Card / Voter ID / Passport. Next, provide captcha code.

• Step 2: Now, enter the number of person above six years, provide the number of children aged 2 to 6 years and number of infants. Click on next.

Children under six years old are not permitted on the Glass Skywalk and for them, no individual tickets will be issued for the Glass bridge. Additionally, children under the age of 2 years do not require their own entry ticket.

• Step 3: Choose the type of ticket – Entry Ticket / Glass Bridge Ticket and the visiting Date.

In the next page, enter the required information like name, email id, address, pincode, Adult & Child Number, ID Type (Aadhar Card, Driver License, Voter ID, Passport). Then, click on “ Next “.

• Step 4: Now pay for the ticket through credit card, debit card, or net banking.

• Step 5: Once the payment is done e-ticket will generate. It can also be sent in the registered mobile number.

Rajgir Glass Bridge: Ticket Price, Booking Link, Nature Safari, Skywalk, Ropeway, Zipline

The country's first glass skywalk is now open in Bihar's Rajgir Forest, designed to attract tourists from near and far. Also, a modern suspension bridge is available for everyone to use. The nature safari covers about 500 hectares and is located between the Vaibhagiri and Songiri mountains in the forest area.

The Skywalk Bridge is situated inside the Nature Safari. You have to buy Entry tickets first to enter the Park. After which you will be taken by bus towards the Nature Safari where you can buy tickets to enjoy various activities like Glass Bridge, Zipline, etc.

You need one whole day to cover the complete Nature Safari Park. 

Rajgir Glass Bridge Ticket Price

• Tickets for the Glass Bridge can be obtained at the counter once you enter the Nature Safari area.
• Online tickets are accessible up to 3 days in advance only. 
• In a day only 800 tickets are issued. So it's better to book tickets online to save time waiting in long queues. 
• For Children above 5 years full ticket has to be purchased. 

Vishnu Shanti Stupa Rajgir

You can also add Vishnu Shanti Stupa to your visit list when in Rajgir. Shanti Stupa is about 9 km away from Nature Safari. Take the exit from Gate no. 5 and you can take a Tanga for Rs 50 - 60 to reach Shanti Stupa. To Reach Shanti Stupa which is up the hill about 400 mts you must take the Ropeway.

History of the Nature Safari Rajgir

The Nature Safari Rajgir is an ecotourism project in Rajgir, Nalanda district, Bihar, India. It was inaugurated on March 26, 2022, by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar. The safari is spread over 500 hectares (1,200 acres) and is home to various wildlife, including lions, tigers, leopards, bears, and elephants. 

The safari is also home to several other attractions, including a glass skywalk, a suspension bridge, an adventure park, and a butterfly zone. Visitors can also enjoy various activities like trekking, cycling, and birdwatching. 

Nature Safari Rajgir Location

The Nature Safari Rajgir is located in the Nalanda district of Bihar, India. It is situated on the Rajgir-Gaya road, about half a kilometer from the Rajgir town center. The Vaibhargiri and Swarnagiri hills surround the safari.

Rajgir Zoo Safari Ticket

The safari is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The entrance fee is ₹100 for adults and ₹50 for children.
