• Chardham & Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra Registration on Uttarakhand Govt. Portal is mandatory to book Helicopter Service online. If not already registered, please click on Chardham & Shri Hemkund Sahib Yatra Registration
• For Sign Up or Create an account, validate your e-Mail ID and Mobile No. through OTP on heliyatra.irctc.co.in . User ID/Booker ID will be your registered Mobile No. and you will need to create your own password. You can then login to heliyatra.irctc.co.in for booking online Helicopter ticket.
• Enter Group ID to book tickets for multiple pilgrims or enter Unique Registration Number to book Helicopter Service for a single person.
• Maximum 02 (two) Helicopter Tickets can be booked per User/Booker ID with maximum six passengers (06 Nos.) per Ticket i.e. an User/Booker can book for a group of maximum 12 passengers on 2 tickets with a single User ID/Booker ID.
• For booking tickets for a group with more than 12 passengers, the User/Booker will be required to Signup with another User ID/Booker ID on heliyatra.irctc.co.in., if already available or create another User ID/Booker ID for booking tickets for a group with more than 12 passengers.
• Helicopter ticket bookings are permitted for any available calendar date. Passengers can select any available calendar date to book a helicopter ticket.

Cancellation Policy

Shri Kedarnath Dham means "Lord of the field or Kedar Khand" region, the historical name of the region. Situated amongst scenic snowy mountains and valleys covered with grassy meadows, Shri Kedarnath Dham temple is on the must-see list of sightseers all over the world - not just pilgrims. Located at an altitude of over 3,583 mtr. (11,755 ft.), above sea level in Uttarakhand and 223 km from Rishikesh, this temple is the highest of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. It is located at the head of the Mandakini and Saraswati River in Himalayas of Garhwal region. The temple is not directly accessible by road and has to be reached by a 16 kilometres uphill trek from Gaurikund. Ponie and Porter Service is available to reach the Temple. Helicopter services for 2023 Shri Kedarnath Dham Yatra are available and can be booked only through IRCTC official website.

Jyotirlinga

Jyotirlingas are sacred shrines of Lord Shiva, it is believed that Lord Shiva himself visited these places and hence they have a special place in the hearts of devotees. Jyotirlinga means "column or pillar of light". The "stambha" symbol represents that there is no beginning or end. When Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu had an argument about who was the supreme god, Lord Shiva appeared as a column of light and asked each one to find the ends. Neither could do it. It is believed that the places where these columns of light fell is where the Jyotirlinga are located.

About Hemkund

Shri Hemkund Sahib, also known as Gurudwara Shri Hemkund Sahib, is a revered Sikh shrine located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. Situated at an altitude of 4,632 meters (15,197 feet), it is one of the highest Gurudwaras in the world. The name "Hemkund" literally means "Lake of Snow," and the site is surrounded by seven snow-capped peaks and crystal-clear glacial waters. The shrine is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, and is a significant pilgrimage site for Sikhs.

History and Facts

One of the first references of Shri Kedarnath Dham is in the Skanda Purana that was written around the 7th and 8th century AD. The present structure is believed to have been constructed by Adi Shankaracharya about 1,200 years ago. It stands next to the site of a temple that is said to have been built by the Pandavas. It has been renovated many times over the centuries. The temple is built with huge stone slabs over a rectangular platform. There are inscriptions in Pali on the steps. There are figures of various deities and scenes from Hindu mythology on the inner walls. A large statue of the Nandi Bull, Shiva's mount, stands as guard at the entrance. The Jyotirlinga is in the shape of a conical rock formation inside the temple - Lord Shiva in his Sadashiva form. Since Shri Kedarnath Dham is located at such an altitude, winters are severe, making the temple inaccessible. So, it is open to the Pilgrims only between April (Akshaya Tritiya) and November (Kartik Purnima - the autumn full moon) every year. During the winters, the Murtis(idols) from Shri Kedarnath Dham temple are brought to Ukhimath and worshiped there for six months. One of the most significant calamities occurred at Shri Kedarnath Dham in 2013 when it was affected by flash floods, which was one of the worst disasters that occurred in 100 years of its existence. Bhim Shila stands for "God's rock", which saved the holy temple of Shri Kedarnath Dham from being washed away by the turbulent flood water.

The history of Shri Hemkund Sahib is intertwined with the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh, who is believed to have meditated at this site in a previous life. Although the shrine is a relatively recent addition, its significance is rooted in ancient scriptures and oral traditions. Hemkund Sahib was rediscovered in the early 20th century by Bhai Vir Singh, a Sikh scholar, who identified the location based on the descriptions in the Guru's autobiographical work, "Bachitra Natak." The Gurudwara was constructed in the 1960s, and since then, it has become a major pilgrimage destination. The journey to Hemkund Sahib is considered challenging due to its high altitude and rugged terrain, symbolizing the devotees' perseverance and faith.

GUPTKASHI - PHATA - KEDARNATH JI (BY AIR)

Wake up early and get refreshed. There are two mediums to reach the Kedarnath temple i.e. by road and by air. Please find the below details for both mediums. By Air: You can also choose to explore Kedarnath by Helicopter services. Helicopter services are time-saving and give you an amazing birds-eye view of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks behind the Kedarnath temple. Important Expert Travel Tips for Chardham:-

• While visiting Hindu mythological sites, shrines and temples, one should remove shoes and cover head with a piece of cloth before entering the Holy Place.
• Do carry your personal daily use products toiletries,  creams, moisturizers, sunscreen etc.
• Pack a medical kit with painkillers, antibiotics, cough lozenges, Antiseptic cream, Iodine, tube-squeeze cream and medicines for cold and fever. Carry your routine medicines, as you might find only limited and general medicine at such remote locations.
• Carry dark chocolates, dry fruits, Glucose (Glucon D), toffees. They will provide your instant energy during the trekking and during long jams.
• It can rain anytime here, so it is mandatory to carry an umbrella and raincoat along with your rain shoes.
• To protect yourself from the cold winds here, carry a windcheater, woolen socks, monkey caps and a muffler. These will enable you to withstand the chill that comes with wind on the upper Himalayan region.
• When asking for directions, speak to shopkeepers, not pedestrians. Check with at least two persons or more.
• Do not take pictures if cameras are not allowed in any particular area. Do not play with the sentiments of any particular religion.
• At least a month before the Yatra, it is advisable to start preparatory exercises for the trip 4 months in advance.
• Though self-managed tours happen to be economical, it is advisable for your Chardham yatra to go for a guided tour arranged by an expert local travel agent.
• Carry extra batteries and films for your camera, as electricity is not regular in such remote places.
• Avoid traveling in the rainy season as there are a lot of landslides during that time.
• Book your trip well  in advance if you are travelling close to the temple opening dates, there is a heavy rush of pilgrims. 
• Alcohol or non-vegetarian food is not permitted during Char Dham Yatra Tour.
• Drink packaged water or boiled water only.
• Accommodation Expectation: The provided hotels are of a standard Category unless you have booked Deluxe / Luxury package. Expect Basic Home stay / Guest houses in Kedarnath.
• Meals Exceptions: We provided Breakfast and Dinner to our guests it will be basic Indian vegetarian meals (We do not offer any meals in Kedarnath)
• From Sonprayag to Gaurikund our vehicles are not allowed and hence one has to go with Union Taxi by paying 40-50 Rupee Person one way.

If self-driving in Uttarakhand during Chardham

• Always keep your vehicle on left side of the Road.
• Use Horn at curves on hills, never overtake the overtaking vehicle.
• One should not drive more than 8 hours a day in hilly region.
• Avoid driving after sunset, as it is not allowed in hilly area of Uttarakhand.
• Use shoes instead of slippers while driving.
• Check your Brakes and Hand Brakes before starting journey.
• Check the Headlights, Break light and Parking lights of your vehicle.
• Always give way to uphill vehicles.

• In case of traffic jam, park your vehicle at the end of the queue. If you initiate a parallel queue, the traffic from other side might force you to drive in reverse gear, till you reach again at end of the original queue. And you may find it very difficult to drive long in reverse gear on a hilly road.
• Do not compete with local vehicles/drivers. They know the terrain very well.

• Morning take off from Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun by 07:15 AM to Phata/ Sersi helipad.
• Due to Government regulations guests are to be shifted to shuttle helicopter from same helipad to fly to Kedarnath.
• Upon arrival at Kedarnath helipad walk till Mandir which is about 300 mts from helipad. VIP darshan slips at the temple are arranged for you to have a special puja. Post Darshan fly to Phata/Sirsi & fly to Badrinath by 10 AM.

• Any passenger weighing above 80 Kg, shall have to pay extra weight charges @ INR 250/kg for the excess weight, toward the extra weight charges shuttle service at Sersi on direct payment basis.
• Our company shall not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the party. Therefore, in your own interest, guests are hereby advised to kindly consult a doctor and get medical checkup done, before commencing the yatra. Medical check-up is mainly required if a guest has any medical suffering/condition.
• Any donations, tips, pitthu and porter charges shall be borne by the guests only.

Carriage By Air Act, 1972

The liability of the company for damage sustained in the event of the death or wounding of a passenger or any other bodily injuiry suffered by passenger or by his registered baggage during the course of carriage by air will be governed by the provisions of sections 4,5,6 and the rules contained in the second Schedule of Carriage by Air Act 1972 with certain exceptions, adaptations, modifications, etc as notified in the Govt. of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation Notification and as amended from time to time.

• Infant below 2 years/12 kg are carried free of charge. In case of verification of age, ID proof/birth certificate of the child shall be checked. 
• Hand Baggage Allowance only one handbag weighing a maximum of 5 kgs is allowed per passenger. 
• Helicopter Weight Limtation Passengers would be taken on board depending up on the load and temperature conditions. Pilots call will be final. Maximum weight capacity of the helicopter is 420 kg (excluding baggage weight) at these destinations. All passengers on board must be within this limit. Hence, passengers are advised to provide us their exact weights at the time of booking and carry baggage within the permissible limit.
• Disputes as to legality, interpretation, application or performance of service or any of its terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Dehradun Jurisdiction. 
• Payment Terms the booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount. Full amount has to be deposited 7 days prior to date of journey. Rescheduling of booking to a next date will be done subject to availability and on payment of 10% of the cost. This will be permitted only if informed 10 days before arrival date. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 10 days to the arrival, then the booking would be treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be given subject to availability.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If passengers wish to cancel their booking then they will have to pay following cancellation chargesMore than 15 days before the departure date — 30% of total charter amount.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If passengers cancel their booking prior or after commencement of tour, following cancellation charges will be applicable:

RESCHEDULING OF BOOKING

• Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date, will be done subject to availability, and on payment of 20% of the total tour cost. This will be permitted only if informed at least 15 days before arrival date.
• In case rescheduling is requested less than 15 days prior to the travel date, then the booking would be treated as cancelled, & a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.

COVID-19 Case, or any National/State Emergency

• In case passengers test COVID positive before the travel, or the Yatra gets called-off by the government, or any National or State emergency is imposed, there will be no refunds applicable.
• However, passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher to guest facing cancelation due to lockdown, by Blueheights Aviation Pvt Ltd against the advance paid, which will be valid for one year. It can be utilized against any of our helicopter tours or charter services (for the full amount of the credit voucher), by the passengers or any of their friends/relatives.

FORCE MAJEURE AND BAD WEATHER REFUNDS:

• Where bad weather, technical snags or any force majeure reason beyond Blueheights Aviation Pvt Ltd Services’ control results in the cancellation of your flight being delayed or cancelled, Blueheights Aviation Pvt Ltd will not be liable in any way for the cancelled or delayed flight. However, refund will be given to clients as per our refunds policy. Any kind of inconvenience caused because of cancellation of flights is beyond the control of the operator. No compensation or reimbursement for accommodation, transportation, meals or any other extra travel expenses done by the passengers shall be offered in the event of cancellation of a flight.
• In case tour departure does not take place from Dehradun on Day One due to above reasons, tour will be considered as cancelled and full refund minus 10%, will be refunded immediately as per our policies will be made.
• However, in case the passengers would like to consider taking the tour on the next available date, a fresh booking can be made for the same. Our team will propose the available options to the passengers.
• The balance/unutilized amount against previous booking can be adjusted against the fresh booking. And any extra costs that would be accruing, will have to be borne by the passengers.
• In case the tour departs from Dehradun as per schedule but gets disrupted, while the tour is ongoing, our team will propose the possible revised itinerary within the scheduled package days, but without any extension of days.
• Any extension, proposed by the passengers, in the package will only be considered at an extra cost and subject to operational viability.
• In case for 05 straight days flying does not take place, full refund minus 10% as per our policies will be made to the passengers.
• New Chardham passenger(s) scheduled for departure from Dehradun on any respective travel date shall be our top priority, over the back-log passenger(s) of previous days(s).
• Additional night halt charges will be payable by the passengers to hotels on direct payment basis, when they get stuck for additional nights due to bad weather/force majeure reasons.
• If any passenger(s) require ferry flights to be operated for them in emergency, cost for the same will be charged to the party @ INR 125,000/hr plus GST.
• While the tour is ongoing, if any group demands to cancel their tour mid-way, the arrangement of transportation will be done by Blueheights Aviation Pvt Ltd, however, cost for the same will be borne by the passengers on direct payment basis.
• Any increase in government levies or taxes or special Darshan or Palki after the confirmation of booking, will be extra chargeable to the passengers. Payment against the same will have to be made before the commencement of tour.
• Dodham sector comprises of total 02 hours of flying. In case due to any unavoidable circumstance, we’re not able to fly either of the both Dhams (Kedarnath or Badrinath) in the same day, we’ll make an attempt to do the same on the next day. In case due to completion of current bookings for the day, and because of final pilot’s call we’re not able to fly even on the next day then refund will be provided on the basis of balance of flying hours @1,25,000/- per hour

PASSENGER GUIDELINES

• Guests have to MANDATORILY submit their correct weights at the time of booking. If any change in weight found at the time of their travel, from the submitted weights, which may lead to exceeding of our aircraft weight carrying capacity, guest(s) would be deboarded & cancelled for the Heli-tour, without any refund.
• In case of a per seat booking: Booking shall be taken by BHAPL on provisional basis and confirmed to the passengers 03 weeks prior to the date of arrival at the latest. Please note, for Dodham (ex-Dehradun) per seat bookings, BHAPL shall fly subject to 04 or more ETA/ETD DETAILS 1300 Hrs ETD from Sersi Helipad 1330 Hrs ETA at Sahastradhara Helidrome passengers being on board, otherwise provisional booking shall be released, and 100% advance shall be refunded by us.
• The ETA/ETD timings mentioned in our itinerary are not final. Timings may differ on your date of travel, depending up on weather and other Force Majeure reasons.
• Guests are advised to have some fruits/light food before boarding flight in the morning on their date of travel.
• AADHAR & PAN Card copies are to be shared mandatorily by all Indians, & passport is required in case of foreign nationals.
• Depending up on weather & other force majeure conditions, BHAPL might cover Kedarnath Dham first and then Badrinath Dham.
• Waiting time at Sersi and Kedarnath helipad would be approximately 30 minutes to 02 hours.
• Breakfast/lunch can be arranged at either of the Dhams, depending up on the time of departure from Sahastradhara. Only one meal – lunch/breakfast, is included in the tour package. Its optional at BHAPL end.
• Overweight charges would be charged to guests who are above 80kg weight. The reason for the same is that we operate at very high-altitude terrain, where the weight carrying capacity of the aircraft is only 450 kg. Hence, due to overweight passengers, we lose seats in our sharing flights.
• Overweight charges are applicable at INR 2000/kg, for the total weight above 75kg/pax
• Baggage up to 3-5 kg/passenger will be permitted on board.
• Passengers should carry only one handbag each. Suitcases cannot be carried on board.
• BHAPL has its own crew at both the Dhams. For any help, guidance or assistance, guests are free to reach out to them.
• Hotel accommodation and transportation charges at Dehradun are not included in the package. It can be arranged by BHAPL at an additional charge.

• Both the temples are located at a high altitude. Passengers are advised to carry regular medical kit & woollen clothes with them, as temperatures can drop drastically at night in the hills.
• Any donations, tips, pitthu and porter charges shall be borne by the guests.
• Weighing at the time of boarding the helicopter is a must, since the company shall not allow boarding in case the total weight exceeds the weight limitation of the helicopter. • Flying in hills is subject to weather conditions. • Instead of trek at the high altitudes, prefer palki or pony
• Carry sunscreen/Vaseline or cold cream to protect yourself from sunburn.
• Keep your contact details handy in case of emergency
• Keep a spare pair of clothes and some eatables in a water proof bag
• Carry a torch and raincoat/umbrella along with some cash
• Wear suitable comfortable clothes which can ease your travelling
• Avoid wearing slippers and prefer sport shoes 
• In case of experiencing symptoms of headache, vomiting, extreme tiredness or nausea, contact immediately to the concerned person.

General Instructions

• The helicopter service for Kedarnath ji will be operated from our helipad at Phata on a regular basis everyday from May until the temple doors are closed in November around Diwali. Flights are generally not operated during monsoon season.
• For same day return you will be given 4 ½ hr (4 hour 30 mins) at Shri Kedarnath Ji and Devotees will have to purchase Priority Darshan slip for the same day return. (Not required for night halt devotees)
• Reporting time is not to be confused with boarding time, Boarding will take place upto 01 hours after the reporting time
• Effort will be made to accommodate passenger in their own group but this is not always possible, as we need to make weight adjustment in preparing of passenger load or accommodate priority seats.
• Hand baggage not weighing more than 5 Kg per person only will be allowed.
• Infant will be allowed to travel only with an Adult Passenger. Infants below 2 years 10% of adult fares shall be charged and above 2 years the full fares are applicable.
• The advance booking can be made by making full payments of the ticket
• Passenger Over-weight charges will be levied beyond 85 Kgs of weight subjected to company not losing a seat in the char dham yatra trip . This will be decided at Phata Office
• In case the journey cannot be performed on a particular day because of weather or technical reasons, Company shall accommodate the passengers on the next date of flying.

Day 1 : Dehradun to Guptkashi / Sitapur (250 KM/7 Hours drive)

Morning pick-up from Dehradun Airport/Haridwar Railway Station & proceeds to Guptkashi by Road. It is a beautiful drive along Ganga and Alakhnanda River. On arrival at the hotel, relax in the evening and prepare for Kedarnath Darshan on next day. Visit Dev prayag – Devprayag is merger Point of Alakhnanda River and Bhagirathi River. Day: 1 Fly Dehradun to Kedarnath and then Badrinath (One Day Tour)

Kedarnath Dham Darshan

• Arrive early morning at Helipad Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun.
• Our representative at the helipad will tell you about the journey ahead, and then we will proceed to Sarsi (near Guptkashi).
• From Sarsi we will reach Kedarnath by helicopter.
• After Kedar Darshan, the morning meal will be served in Kedarnath. After that, we will fly back to Sarsi.

Badrinath Dham Darshan

• We will fly from Sarsi to Badrinath by helicopter
• On arrival at Badrinath Helipad, our agents will take you for darshan in a car. The temple is about 15 to 20 minutes away.
• You will be given around 01-1.5 hours for darshan. After which you will have lunch in Badrinath.
• After the darshan of Shri Badrinath Ji, you will be brought to Badrinath Helipad.
• After that, we will leave for Dehradun; With this, the journey will end.

Booking Term: To book this trip you’ve to pay 40% of the total booking amount. After which you’ll receive a confirmation shortly. Rest amount has to be paid on arrival day before starting the mentioned trip.

Cancellation Terms:

• If cancellations are made within 30 days or prior, no cancellation charges will be deducted from the booking amount.
• If cancellations are made between 30-15 days, 50% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fee.
• If cancellations are made in less than 7 days, 100% of the booking amount will be charged as cancellation fee.
• In the event of ‘No show’, No refund shall be made under any circumstances.

Refund Terms: Once cancelled, any refund will be processed in the original mode of payment, which will be credited within 7 to 10 working days.

Important Information

Flexible Flying Time:  Flying time of charter is subjected to flying permissions and weather forecast and can be changed if the weather is not permissible for flying or in case of any technical issues Body Weight Limitation  Each helicopter can accommodate up-to 6 passengers with total body weight limitation of 445 kg for 6 passengers. Heli Yatra holds the right to de-board the passenger if the given body weight deviates from the actual body weight provided at the time of making the booking. In such scenario, we will not be liable to provide the refund amount to any passenger de-boarded. Passengers are requested to share the exact body weight measured on electronic measuring scale. Passengers with body weight above 75 Kg will be charged INR 2,000 / - Per Kg. This amount will be collected in Dehradun to avoid last minute hustle. Passengers whose given body weight is wrong will be charged INR 2500 /- Per Kg only on the final call of the pilot else will be de boarded without any refund. Luggage Weight:  Only one small soft bag/ duffel bag weighing a maximum of 2 kgs is allowed per passenger provided the body weight is exactly the same which was provided at the time of booking. Suitcases or any other luggage bags including hard case bag is strictly prohibited to be carried in the helicopter.

Flying Schedule:  Any of the Dham can be covered first depending on the weather conditions, Technical Issues, huge rush in the temple and govt. permissions. Infants:  Infant below 2 years are accommodated free of charge. For verification of age the child, ID proof/birth certificate of the child needs to be submitted prior to arrival date at source of journey.

Bad Weather Conditions

Flying in hills is subjected to bad weather conditions, many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air Traff ic Clearances/ Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force ( NOTAM ), sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting of the passengers at helipads, among others. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios. We strongly advise our passengers to keep one additional day at hand, over & above the 1 Day period, to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios. Due to backlog / bad weather or any natural circumstance there can be amendments in your itinerary where we can only Ek dham in 1 day or Do dham in 2 days. And in some circumstances your trip may be cancelled on the day of arrival due to the above conditions with full refund except the expenses occurred in Dehradun. In most ofthe situations, if there is back log due to bad weather trip may get cancelled. Medical/ Special Condition Heli Yatra staff should be informed at the time of booking if there is any Medical or Special condition (Handicapped, Specially or Mentally Challenged etc.) involved with any of the flyers. Heli-Yatra has full rights to de-board the passenger if not informed at the time of booking. No Flying In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money i.e if due to any reason we are unable to do 1 dham then we will refund Proportionate money subjected to the fl ying hours which is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes and fixed components. Passenger Grouping In view of our helicopters’ limited weight carrying capacity, operating company reserves the right to shuff le passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for safe flying in the hills. Therefore, passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter flight. Only 1 Cab/ Vehicle will be provided for 6 Passengers throughout their entire journey

Rescheduling Of Booking Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date, will be done subject to availability, and on payment of 20% of the total tour cost. This will be permitted only if informed at least 30 days before arrival date. In case rescheduling is requested less than 30 days prior to the travel date, then the booking would be treated as cancelled, & a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.

Other Important Terms

• As this is  NSOP (Non scheduled operations)  flying, flying time for the next day is conveyed to passengers a night prior once the operation plan is finalized in the evening/ night after sunset.
• It's compulsory for passengers to arrive a night prior at Dehradun from their respective flying dates so that they can report at the Sahastradhara helipad on time with out any delay.
• We do not provide Accommodation & Airport/ Hotel Transfers in our Same-Day Heli-Tours.
• If there is any technical snag in the helicopter or any sudden testing required there might be a possibility of delay or passenger may fly on the next day. In case of major part failure, your trip may be cancelled in between the Yatra.
• There can be a waiting time at every helipad for upto 2 hours approx. depending upon the multiple factors like Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
• As this is a Same-Day Heli-tour, there can be instances where we have to prioritize passenger's darshans and we might skip 01 meal (Breakfast/ Lunch) included in the package so that Darshans are not hampered in case of Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
• In case of emergency and bad weather scenarios, passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by road.
• Aadhar Card copy is mandatory to be submitted in advance before the date of fl ight by all Indian passengers, and Passport in case of foreign nationals.
• Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
• At each dham we have our informed handlers and incase of any assistance client has to reach out the handlers.
• Any night halt due to any circumstances will be borne by the customers and client has to pay the amount on actual in the hotel directly.

GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS

• Maximum 5/6 Passengers/Guests will be allowed in 01 Helicopter.
• Only 2 kg of luggage per passenger will be permitted due to limited space in the helicopter. Passengers bringing excess baggage would not be allowed to take the same in the chopper. At any cost we won’t allow passenger to take more luggage. This is the standard safety rule for Aviation.
• At these locations, it becomes cold throughout, so passengers must carry woolen clothes with them.
• Both temples are located in high altitude areas. Passengers are advice to carry a regular medical kit.
• Passengers should carry only handbags (Soft bags/ duffle bags) as  suitcases cannot be kept in the helicopter.
• Total passenger weight should not be more than 445 KG. 
• If individual body weight exceeds 75 Kgs, Extra charges of INR 2000 per Kg will be applicable.
• While changing the helicopter at Kedarnath or Guptkashi the waiting time is between 10 mins to 3 hrs. depending on Shuttle slots / weather conditions or technical reasons.
• Passengers may be divided into 2 groups while changing the helicopter at Kedarnath/Guptkashi shuttle depending on their body weight.
• Patients with psychiatric issues, such as depression or obsessive compulsive disorders or any sort of mental illness, will not be allowed to fly due to safety reasons.
• All passengers will be taken to all the helipads atleast 1 hour prior before the departure time. In this case sometimes you may have to wait at govt. helipad.
• Please share your actual body weight at the time of Booking. Your body weight will be measured before flying. Company have full rights to de-board a passenger incase the actual body weight exceeds than the weight given by passengers. Kindly don’t share any assumed body weight.
• Timings are flexible depending on weather conditions/technical reasons/govt. permissions etc.

Helicopter Tour - Terms and Conditions

• Children above the age of 2 years will be considered a full ticket. Infant below 2 years are car- ride free of charge, in case of dispute birth certificate can prevail.
• Any extra night halt due to bad weather will be borne by the client itself.
• There is no provision of concession to children or senior citizens for helicopter yatra.
• The booking has to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the charter amount.
• The full amount has to be deposited 20 days prior to the date of the journey.
• One cab will be provided to the group of upto 6 pax wherever required.
• Rescheduling of booking can be done prior to 30 days of journey date and is subject to availability with 25% extra charges. In case the rescheduling is requested with less than 30 days to the journey then the booking will be treated as canceled. 
• In case the journey is not finished within the given time and passengers would not be able to Dham due to bad weather conditions/technical reasons. In this scenario company will still try to visit the all dham by extending the timeframe. Company will do all the dhams on the next day if weather condition remains poor whole day and so on.
• We recommend you to book your return flight one day later. Company will not bear any cancellation of flights at any cost.
• Disputes as to legality, interpretation, application or performance of services or any of its terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Delhi jurisdiction.
• Incase of emergency and bad weather passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by other means of Transport.
• No money will be refunded incase the passenger is de-boarded due to wrong given body weight.
• Your luggage will be strictly not allowed in the helicopter if it is found more than 2 KG at the helipad.
• Prices will remain same even incase the royalty fees changes or remains same.
• In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will re- fund proportionate money. This refundable proportionate money is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes and fixed components.

PRECAUTIONARY GUIDELINES

• General Safety kit will be provided to the customer on the day of arrival, which will consist of the following things : Hand Sanitizer, Washable Mask, Washable Hand Gloves
• While boarding into the helicopter, social distancing will be maintained and all the discussions with the representatives will be done from a distance of minimum 2 ft.
• We would make sure that all our vehicles and helicopters will be cleaned on a daily basis.
• Our staff will be carrying hand sanitizer, mask and gloves while meeting with the customer.
• None of our staff will greet the customers with handshake or any means of direct physical contact.
• On the day of arrival, each customer’s body temperature will be measured and if found greater than the normal then our medical team will get in touch with the customer and provide consultancy.

Agastyamuni—Augastyamuni is a small town on the banks of the River Mandakini, 10 miles from Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. It is named after the Hindu yogi Siddhar Agastya, who was one of the Saptrishis. Guptakashi is a comparatively large town situated at a height of 4,327 ft in the Kedar-khanda in Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand. It is famous for its ancient Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, like the one in Varanasi. Another beautiful and popular temple here is dedicated to Ardhanareshvara. Guptakashi comes from the Pandavas’ time in the Hindu epic, Mahabharata. It is also said that Lord Shiva proposed to Goddess Parvati here in Guptakashi before they got married in Triyuginarayan. However, the old route from Gauri Kund that led to Kedarnath was completely destroyed during the 2013 floods in Uttarakhand, and a new road of about 16 km was constructed by the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. The main temple in Guptakashi is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is named Vishwanath.

3. Gauri Kund

Gauri Kund is a popular Hindu pilgrimage spot and a trekking base camp towards Kedarnath temple. Situated in the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas, about 6502 ft above sea level, Gauri is believed to have meditated for years to win over Shiva. Gauri Kund is the same place where she lived while carrying out several yogic practices. This particular spot is also known for the legendary story of how when Goddess Parvati was bathing and Ganesh stood outside, guarding, Shiva cut off Ganesha’s head, which was then replaced with that of an elephant. Devotees come here in remembrance of their gods and goddesses.

By Air—Jolly Grant Airport in Uttarakhand is 238 km away . Helicopter services are also available at Kedarnath.

By Road – Buses, private cars and taxis are easily available from major destinations of Uttarakhand like Rishikesh, Pauri, Dehradun, Haridwar, Srinagar, Tehri, Uttarkashi, etc.

By Train – Rishikesh Railway Station is the nearest one to Kedarnath. It is located 216 km through NH58 before the town of Kedarnath.
