Gareth Emery’s LSR/CITY Announces 2024 North American Tour

LSR/CITY , the laser Techno alias and much-buzzed-about laser live show of electronic music icon  Gareth Emery , has announced a new, 15-stop North American tour for 2024. 

Following its debut at  EDC Las Vegas Week in 2022 and subsequent sold-out, four-date run — which included stops in Seattle , San Jose , and Minneapolis — LSR/CITY became an instant viral sensation. Clips from the show’s stunning light show spread like wildfire across social media , and a live-exclusive cover of  Madonna ’s iconic ‘ LIKE A PRAYER ‘ was played millions of times on Instagram and TikTok .

Now, LSR/CITY is returning to the stage once again, raising the stakes further with even more mind-blowing visuals and a new body of music – the culmination of a year-long production process that promises to deliver one of the most immersive laser shows in dance music history. LSR/CITY has spent the past several months teasing new visuals in anticipation of the 2024 shows in cities such as Los Angeles , New York City , Chicago , Vancouver , Miami , Dallas , Toronto , and more. 

The tour announcement coincides with the official release of ‘ LIKE A PRAYER ‘, the debut track of the LSR/CITY project. Featuring London-based singer  Annabel , the track has already amassed 20+ million plays and 1+ million shares on social media. Now, it’s finally been released across platforms due to fervent fan demand.

Gareth Emery Announces LSR/CITY V2 Tour

Gareth Emery announces the four-stop LSR/CITY V2 tour which will feature never before seen technology and plenty of lasers.

Gareth Emery is one of the most renowned producers in the scene. Over the past two decades, he’s released countless hit tracks and has taken the stage at some of the biggest festivals and stages around the world, while also crafting one-of-a-kind shows that have left his fans jaws on the floor. This year has seen Gareth Emery continue to deliver surreal trance beats with releases like “Dopex,” “Unity,” and “This Is Not The End” and he announced his final studio album that’s due to arrive later this year as well.

Now, riding the wave of that announcement, Gareth Emery dropped the details for his upcoming tour, LSR/CITY V2 , that will hit four cities across the United States. The successor to his massive Laserface tour, this show made its debut at EDC Las Vegas this past May and is set to be even bigger and better. Bringing cutting-edge lasers and never before used technology, Gareth Emery and his team are stopping at nothing to make these four nights some of the most unforgettable in electronic music by incorporating a multi-sensory experience into his already jaw-dropping show.

LSR/CITY V2 will kick off on September 24 at the Shrine in Los Angeles . From there, Gareth Emery will head to the WAMU Theater in Seattle on October 15 and the San Jose Civic on November 25 before ending the quick run at the Armory in Minneapolis on December 3 . Gareth Emery Is Bringing His Cutting-Edge LSR/CITY V2 On Four-Date Tour

Gareth Emery is known for his cutting-edge laser visuals, emotional music, and incredibly produced Laserface tour. Now the trance-inspired artist is bringing his brand new LSR/CITY V2 show on a four-date tour. This includes a show at the iconic Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on September 24.

Emery said on his social media, “To choose cities and venues, we looked at where some of the MOST legendary nights of my career had been and picked the places where we’d had the most incredible memories.” Check out the other dates in his post below.

Gareth Emery is a well-established songwriter, DJ, and record producer from England. He commonly uses live production and an abundance of lasers in his performances. His first LSR/CITY show, held during EDC Week 2o22 in Las Vegas, completely sold out and amazed attendees.

England striker Ollie Watkins has revealed his stunning form at Aston Villa has come after employing a therapist he speaks with before and after every match, having struggled with belief in himself earlier in his career.

Watkins, 28, started using the “sports performance therapist” just prior to Unai Emery’s appointment at Villa and the results have been spectacular, with the former Brentford forward scoring 19 goals in the Premier League last season and finishing in the Champions League places .

After being called up to Gareth Southgate’s squad for the European Championship , Watkins will speak to his life coach before each game in Germany and after the final whistle regardless of the result.

“Making sure going into the game, I’ve got everything off my chest,” he said on the High Performance podcast. “I speak to a life coach and since I’ve worked with him he’s definitely helped me.

“The mind is the most powerful thing because they train every day physically in the gym but it takes a lot to change your mindset. I’ve learnt that is it consistency - being consistent every day whether you have a good day or a bad day.

“If I haven’t scored or if I’ve scored three goals I’ll still speak to him. Before a game and after a game I’ll speak to him and debrief and then I can move onto the next game. Since he has come in, he’s helped me a lot.”

Watkins scored 14 goals in his first season under Emery when he took over from Steven Gerrard in Nov 2022. Then last season his tally was 27 in all competitions which has booked his place at the Euros.

He has revealed since the changes in his mental preparation he has been more focused and aggressive with his runs with the ball, while his work off the pitch has changed with his weights in the gym more specific to his body and game.

“I feel it is the best investment I’ve made. Investing into myself and my mindset has made me become a better player,” he said. “Mindset is the most important thing. Your brain can tell you a lot of things and you can have self doubt.

“There may be moments when I have self-doubt in the morning. But just being okay with thoughts, you can trick your brain into believing different things.”
