Elderbrook Announces New Album and Dates for 2023 North American Tour

Elderbrook is gearing up for a massive year in 2023 with news of his sophomore album, Little Love , and a North American tour.

Multi-talented artist Elderbrook has impressed over the years as he’s flexed his abilities not just as a singer-songwriter but as a producer and live performer as well. In 2020, he delivered his biggest body of work to date, Why Do We Shake In The Cold? , which only further captivated his faithful following and saw him gain even more fans around the world. Now, two years later, Elderbook is on a path to give fans even more tunes to dance to with news surrounding his sophomore album, Little Love .

Officially due out on February 24 on Big Beat Records , Little Love will carry on with Elderbrook’s tradition of bringing emotion-fueled electronic soundscapes for the masses to consume. This includes “ Howl ,” which was released back in September and saw him team up with Tourist to help create the gorgeous sonic offering. The crowd was alight on April 13 th when Elderbrook took the stage at The Warfield in San Francisco for the last night of his 2023 Little Love tour. He’d been warmed up by openers Erez and ford., and by the time he came out the crowd was ready to dance, drink, and sing. Playing songs like “Numb,” “Old Friend,” and “Howl” did the trick and got fans dancing in the aisles at The Warfield so much that security had to constantly sweep them for clearance, but this crowd wasn’t going to be pushed behind boundaries and just kept dancing the night away.

Elderbrook does beats, Elderbrook does drops, Elderbrook makes the crowd dance. He also sings, he’s also a performer, and he also makes the kind of soulful EDM that many other dance artists wish they could generate but can’t get past the machinery to find. Even if all the ones and zeros went away, Elderbrook would rise. And according to opener Erez, Elderbrook is not only a great musician, but an excellent human being and touring family figurehead, which is hopeful and encouraging to hear coming from a woman about a man in power right now.

The stage lighting was fantastic, which a little research shows was done by @tim_routledge_lighting_design and made Elderbrook’s set dynamic and moody and the perfect background for his performance.

Openers Erez and ford. started the show with their own styled EDM and got the crowd warmed up and moving. Erez buzzed up the crowd with songs like “Modern Dream,” and one song had a long extended drop which the forty year old white dudes in the crowd got so hyped to they almost lost their minds. Second opener ford. played the middle of the three sets at a desk at the front of the stage with a laptop and a lamp for light (the photographers thanked you) and looked a little like Logic’s bespectacled bro as he digi-spun hits like “Dawn” and “The Feeling.”

The Little Love tour finished in San Francisco with the crowd loving it, but Elderbrook will make more appearances sporadically throughout the rest of the year (like at Coachella, and at The Fox Theater in Pomona, CA) and can be kept track of here at www.elderbrookofficial.com .

How much are tickets to see John Summit on tour in 2024?

Starting June 15, 29-year-old accountant turned full-time superstar EDM producer John Summit will take his mind-bending live shows featuring “music without limits” to huge venues in the U.S. and Canada.

That includes a pair of gigs in New York City — on the same night, no less — when he performs at Madison Square Garden and the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Saturday, June 29.

New Yorkers that want to see Summit live can snatch balcony seats to the Madison Square Garden show for just $71 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication. Hardcore ravers will need to set aside $278 for floor access and $462 for VIP risers.

For those that prefer something a bit later, general admission tickets for Summit’s 10 p.m. Brooklyn Navy Yard show — just two hours later — start at $200 before taxes and fees.

These shows come in advance of his upcoming debut album “Comfort in Chaos” (due out July 12), which promises uniquely punchy, dopamine-treading deep house mixes that may draw from some other signature Summit genres like two-step, garage, and jungle.

Clearly, if there’s ever been a time to splurge on tickets, it’s now.

Summit’s 12-track debut album “Comfort in Chaos” is set for release on July 12.

Super fans are probably already familiar with a few of his lead singles, including the seductive club thrasher “Eat The Bass,” a collaboration with Sub Focus featuring electro-soul singer Julia Church “Go Back,” as well as his two breakout Billboard anthems with rising vocalist Hayla, “Where You Are” and “Shiver.”

We’re anticipating the hedonistic, built-to-the-drop formula associated with his progressive house music hits, with no shortage of spirited vocals also in place. Expect to reach the summit…more times than once.

But the producer has suggested the forthcoming album might focus more inward than his past creations, while fusing the experimental dance music sounds that have catapulted his career to tremendous heights — like a search to find peace in the chaos.

“John Summit is the performing act, but when I write music I get more vulnerable,” the producer explained in a statement. “While writing this album, I had to go from being in the mindset of John Summit to being John Schuster, my real name.”

In other words, this project will grapple with the age-old question every artist wrestles with, who is the real John Summit ?

He teased a snap of the album cover on Instagram last month — a kaleidoscopic wheel filled with motifs of skeletons, serpents, stars, waves, and fire against a dark background.

“My most vulnerable work to date… I’ve put my heart and soul into this and after years in the making, I can’t wait to finally share it with you all,” he wrote in the caption.

Taylor Swift is about to hit triple digits!

The pop superstar will be performing three nights at Antfield Stadium in Liverpool, England, this week, including what will be her 100th Eras Tour show on June 13. Fans — and the English city — are eager to mark the monumental occasion.

Ahead of the tour stop, the Liverpool City Council created a "trail of art installations across the city," inspired by each of Swift's albums, the BBC reported . These installations include a butterfly, a moss-covered piano, a floral swing bench and a "Red" room. Claire McColgan, director of Liverpool City Council's Culture Liverpool team, told BBC that the installations represented Swift's "exceptional and seismic" impact on the industry and the city. "Even if you have not got a ticket for Taylor you can come to Liverpool and enjoy a bit of Taylor magic," McColgan told the outlet.

Fans are already speculating that the "So High School" singer might have something special up her sleeves, too — especially since the 100th show date includes her lucky number 13. For example, fans have pointed to potential hints Swift may have dropped about a music video for "But Daddy I Love Him" in the color combinations she wore during her 1989 set at her third show in Edinburgh on June 9. Swift has, of course, perviously made special announcements and revealed other surprises throughout the Eras Tour, which kicked off in March 2023. She teased many of those moments via her well-known penchant for Easter eggs.

During the Eras Tour show in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, 2023, the final show of the first U.S. leg of the Eras Tour, Swift announced that the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) re-recording would be released on October 27, 2023. Throughout her performance that night, Swift wore several blue outfits to tease the announcement.

“Here we are, on the last night of the U.S. leg of the Eras tour, in the eighth month of the year, on the ninth day," Swift teased before she shared the photo of the new cover art for 1989 (Taylor’s Version) and release date. 

The “Anti-Hero” singer also announced Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) ’s release date while on the Eras Tour on May 5, 202, teasing during a Nashville show that she had “been planning something for a while."

"You know how I love to plan things, and how I love to surprise you with the things I plan. It's my love language with you,” Swift told the crowd ahead of the official announcement. “I plot, I scheme, I plan and I get to tell you about it.”  

On the day of the Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) announcement at the Eras Tour show at Kansas City on July 7, 2023, Swift surprised fans once again and premiered the music video for " I Can See You, " a vault track from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) , for the first time. Swift even invited her ex Taylor Lautner and Joey King , who starred in the music video, onstage to celebrate the premiere, as well.

Earlier in the tour, Swift surprised concertgoers at MetLife Stadium on May 26, 2023 and premiered the "Karma" music video from her 2022 album Midnights . The music video featured the remixed version of the song that featured Ice Spice in the track and video.

Swift will be performing three nights at the Antfield Stadium in Liverpool, starting on June 13 through June 15. Only time will tell how Swift will mark the big 100th occasion.

The Unique Burial of a Child of Early Scythian Time at the Cemetery of Saryg-Bulun (Tuva)

In 1988, the Tuvan Archaeological Expedition (led by M. E. Kilunovskaya and V. A. Semenov) discovered a unique burial of the early Iron Age at Saryg-Bulun in Central Tuva. There are two burial mounds of the Aldy-Bel culture dated by 7th century BC. Within the barrows, which adjoined one another, forming a figure-of-eight, there were discovered 7 burials, from which a representative collection of artifacts was recovered. Burial 5 was the most unique, it was found in a coffin made of a larch trunk, with a tightly closed lid. Due to the preservative properties of larch and lack of air access, the coffin contained a well-preserved mummy of a child with an accompanying set of grave goods. The interred individual retained the skin on his face and had a leather headdress painted with red pigment and a coat, sewn from jerboa fur. The coat was belted with a leather belt with bronze ornaments and buckles. Besides that, a leather quiver with arrows with the shafts decorated with painted ornaments, fully preserved battle pick and a bow were buried in the coffin. Unexpectedly, the full-genomic analysis, showed that the individual was female. This fact opens a new aspect in the study of the social history of the Scythian society and perhaps brings us back to the myth of the Amazons, discussed by Herodotus. Of course, this discovery is unique in its preservation for the Scythian culture of Tuva and requires careful study and conservation.
