Biography [ ]

He had a long-lost twin brother, Karl , in the possession of Millicent Bagnold . [3]

During the 1985–1986 school year Knarl was one of the creatures that were kidnapped by Todd and Corrine Cribb . When Jacob's sibling rescued them they were returned to Barnaby. [4]

During the 1986–1987 school year , Barnaby decided to throw Knarl a birthday extravaganza named " Knarlenbarn ". Bagnold also brought Karl to the party, allowing the brothers to reunite. [3]

During the 1988–1989 school year , Barnaby wanted Knarl to be Jacob's sibling 's co-star in the play Equinox Enchanted , and they taught him some stage directions. Before the dress rehearsal, Knarl went missing, and he was later found on stage, but due to a sudden exclamation of Barnaby, he got spooked and ran around, destroying the sets and costumes being prepared. [2]

At the beginning of the Quidditch season, Knarl sneaked into the Changing Room and, finding a piece of treacle tart , tore up Jacob's sibling team uniform. [5]

Knarl’s Big Day Part 4

Introduction.

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Knarl’s Big Day Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, Barnaby agreed to have Xenophilius look for Knarl’s lost twin brother.

In the meantime, you went to see Andre about the decorations. You got to choose the perfect decorations for the party, and thanks to Professor Flitwick’s help, you were able to learn the Geminio Charm, which you can use to create duplicates of the decorations Andre created.

Now is the time to use that charm, and decorate the Great Hall for the party.

[ Disclaimer : This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

You’ll see that Barnaby is already back with the cake. He will tell you that Andre left the decoration samples for the party.

You will say that you’ve been studying Geminio with Professor Flitwick. Thanks to his help, you are ready to help decorate the Great Hall.

You’ll find it odd that Barnaby changed his mind about keeping the details of Knarlenbarn a surprise.

He will admit that he wanted to keep Knarl in his sights until the party starts. He’ll also say that Knarl was quite surprised once he saw Andre arriving with the decorations.

Moments later, you’ll get to work. Your job will be to duplicate the decorations, and Barnaby will cut the cake.

To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Barnaby and the decorations. Focus on those actions to save energy.

When you are done, you’ll take your wand and cast one final spell. Trace the wand movement on the screen to do so.

The spell will work as intended, and Knarl will be quite happy with the results.

You’ll notice that Barnaby is nervous about something, so you will ask him to tell you what’s troubling him.

He will say it is odd that Mr. Lovegood hasn’t contacted him yet about Knarl’s brother.

You will assume that he hasn’t been able to find anything. However, Barnaby will still feel a bit nervous, so you’ll decide to check with Xeno one last time and see if he has any news. Barnaby will wholeheartedly thank you for that.

Go to the forest area of Magical Creatures Reserve when you are ready to continue.

Once he sees you, Mr. Lovegood will say he is glad you got his message. You will be slightly confused by that since you haven’t received any message.

You’ll tell him that Barnaby wanted you to check with him and find out if he has any news about Knarl’s brother.

Mr. Lovegood will explain that he has no owls, so he focused hard on sending Knarl a mental message. And apparently, it worked.

You will ask if that means he has news about Knarl’s brother. He’ll say that he does.

However, time is of the essence, and you’ll need to act fast if you are to use the opportunity to reunite Knarl and his brother. Xeno will then decide to tell you what the investigators learned.

You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete this task. All five stars are required to pass, so avoid starting if you are low on energy.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Mr. Lovegood. Prioritizing it should save you a bit of energy.

You will learn that Xeno’s investigators were able to find Knarl’s brother by tracking down Knarl’s breeder.

Unfortunately, Knarl’s brother is in the care of none other than Millicent Bagnold. These lines will differ slightly, depending on your current progress of the main story.

According to Mr. Lovegood, convincing Miss Bagnold to bring a pet all the way to Hogwarts on such short notice won’t be an easy task.

He’ll wonder how you are going to approach her. There are two options to choose from. This choice will impact a few dialogue lines, but it won’t significantly affect the story, so feel free to select the option you prefer.

Mr. Lovegood will advise you to make haste. According to his investigators, Miss Bagnold will be at Ollivander’s soon to pick up a repaired wand. That should give you the opportunity to talk to her about Knarl’s brother.

If you manage to convince Millicent Bagnold to bring her pet to Knarl’s party, Xeno will put the story on the front page of the Quibbler.

He’ll already have a sound headline for it. This line will differ slightly, depending on your current progress of the main story.

You’ll decide to head to Ollivander’s immediately. Go there when you are ready to continue.

Luckily, you’ll arrive just in time. As soon as you enter the shop, you’ll see Millicent Bagnold talking to Ollivander.

Apparently, she will be in a hurry, and she’ll tell Mr. Ollivander she doesn’t have time for conversation.

He’ll tell her he is going to get her wand. This will give you the opportunity to ask for a moment of her time.

If you completed Ticket to Love adventure, Miss Bagnold will immediately recognize you, and she’ll politely greet you.

Unfortunately, she’ll say that she is in a hurry, and she won’t have time to talk to you.

Moments later, Mr. Ollivander will come back and he’ll ask Miss Bagnold if she would like to inspect the wand.

She’ll say that she doesn’t have time for it. Just before taking her wand, she will accidentally knock over several other wands.

She’ll apologize to Mr. Ollivander for making a mess. You’ll quickly offer to help out. All you will ask in return is an opportunity to ask her something. Luckily, Miss Bagnold will agree to talk to you once the mess is cleaned up.

Cleaning up the wand boxes is your next task. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete it. All five stars are required to pass.

There is a bonus progress action tied to Mr. Ollivander. Prioritize it to save a bit of energy.

Luckily, Miss Bagnold will still be there when you are done. She will say that you’ve earned precisely one minute of her time.

The choice you made while talking to Mr. Lovegood will take effect on the following few dialogue lines.

You’ll then tell her about the birthday party Barnaby is throwing for his pet Knarl. She will admit that she has a soft spot for Knarls.

You will explain that Knarl wants to be reunited with his long-lost brother, who is currently in her possession.

Miss Bagnold will say that she was aware her Knarl had a brother, but she had no idea where he was. She’ll say she will be happy to bring her Knarl to the party. Unfortunately, she will be so busy that she won’t have time in the next two months.

You’ll tell her that the party will be starting soon. Sadly, she won’t be able to make it on such short notice.

You will get one last chance to convince her to change her mind. There are two options to choose from.

This choice will affect some of the dialogue lines, but it won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

In the end, Miss Bagnold will say that she’ll try to make it to the party. However, she won’t make any promises.

You’ll thank her for that. Moments later, you will leave the place and head back to Hogwarts to attend the party. Once you arrive, you’ll be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say.

You’ll be quite pleased with the way everything turned out. The Great Hall will look amazing with the decorations Andre made, and you’ll notice there are plenty of guests at the party.

Barnaby will thank you for going out of your way to help him. You’ll inform him that Xeno’s investigators were able to track down Knarl’s brother.

You will go on and say that he lives with Millicent Bagnold. You’ll then say that you had the opportunity to speak with her, and there is a chance she might show up at the party. You’ll ask Barnaby if he saw her.

Barnaby will admit that he hasn’t seen her yet. You’ll suggest looking around and see if there’s any sign of Millicent or Knarl’s brother.

To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Make sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are actions with bonus progress tied to Tonks and Barnaby. Prioritize those actions to save energy.

Unfortunately, you won’t find any signs of Millicent or Knarl’s brother. However, everyone at the party will seem to have a good time.

Moments later, Mr. Lovegood will approach you and congratulate you on convincing Millicent Bagnold to attend the party.

You’ll be slightly confused by his words since you couldn’t find Millicent anywhere. Xeno will say that he recently saw her by the entrance.

Suddenly, you will see Miss Bagnold approaching you, accompanied by Knarl’s brother.

Barnaby will be immensely happy to see her. She will apologize for being late. Apparently, she had to make some last-minute arrangements.

The choice you made while talking to her in Ollivander’s will take effect on the following few dialogue lines.

Miss Bagnold will introduce her Knarl to you. Apparently, his name is Karl.

Karl and Knarl will approach one another, and you’ll immediately notice the bond between them.

Barnaby will thank you for reuniting Knarl with his long-lost brother Karl. Mr. Lovegood will take a photograph for the front page of the Quibbler.

As a thank you for making Knarl’s birthday wish come true, Barnaby will give you a Knarl-shaped pendant. If you are dating Barnaby, he’ll say that you are the most important person in his life.

You will thank him for the wonderful gift. Shortly after, Part 4 of Knarl’s Big Day adventure will conclude. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 4 Gems, 1000 Experience points, 3 Chocolate Frogs, and the Knarl-shaped pendant.

You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

The pendant you received from Barnaby will be added to your wardrobe.

What a wonderful adventure! You helped Barnaby organize the perfect party for Knarl. More importantly, you managed to reunite Knarl with his long-lost brother Karl, which brought happiness to both of them, and Barnaby as well.
