We had a great day, our driver Humu was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained getting there and coming back to our pick up place he was right on time overall it was a great experience, didn’t care for the food that was available at pearl harbor , we went to the Arizona memorial I think we should have done both tours the Missouri as well maybe next time.

Royal Star Pearl Harbor Guided Tour with Arizona Memorial & Battleship Missouri

Excellent pearl harbor tour.

Kilani, our bus driver, did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable and funny. The Pearl Harbor tour guide was also excellent and informative. It rained for a bit, but then stopped. The Missouri guide was excellent but only talked at the first two stops. I thought he would talk all through the tour. It probably would have been difficult to do with the narrow passageways though. I would suggest not bringing any kind of bag unless it is a see-through one because you can't take it inside the grounds - have to pay for a locker.

We had the most incredible time touring the Mighty Mo!! Really incredible to stand on a battleship where WWII came to an end. Saffron, our tour guide, was absolutely fantastic!!! She was so informative, interesting and kind. Could listen to her all day! We also met Alvin in the Aviation Museum and really enjoyed listening to him! We had toured the Arizona on our last visit to Hawaii and very much enjoyed that tour. Pearl Harbor is well organized and well worth the visit.

Easy way to see PH!

Quick easy pick up and drop off, the tour guide does not go in the park with you however!

Lots of new things learned at my stop to the Pearl Harbor grounds! The tour guide as well detailed a lot of useful information to and from the grounds

Our bus tour guide was absolutely amazing! Juicy is his name. He was very informative and funny. He helped us with everything we needed and told us where to go. The pearl harbor site was breathe taking. They are all very informative at every site you go to. The Missouri is massive and takes awhile to see it all but it was very self explanatory and easy to do a self tour. It was all worth it!

This was an awesome tour with lunch included, our tour guide Ernie was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour very pleasant and educating! Very glad we selected this tour, and also very glad we got a great tour guide.

I would strongly not recommend doing this tour. Horrible food and our plus added to pick up and drop off that was painful. Would’ve been better off getting an Uber both ways.

Ultimate Pearl Harbor Tour with Arizona Memorial, USS Missouri & Aviation Museum

What a historical journey.

As a whole, the experience to see and learn more about the terrible happenings on December 7, 1941 was an outstanding opportunity and well orchestrated. The Arizona memorial was incredibly humbling. I never knew there are more than 900 souls still at rest below the memorial. Also, the endless oil leak from the ship was quite a surprise. Now, to be honest, I thought we'd be walking on a glass bottom floor so one could see more of the ruins. But, as it was, with the displays available, the wall of names, etc., it was quite effective. May God continue to bless all the lost souls, injured warriors, and their families. Next, we toured the USS Missouri. What an amazing ship with displays to explain personnel jobs, their quarters, and all the cogs of the wheel it takes to operate and maintain such massive equipment. God bless our service men and women. Finally, we walked through the air museum. It was very cool to see all of the various aircraft on display, with some still flying today! Sweet! Lastly, the bus driver that picked us up from our hotel was quite entertaining and full of good information. He kept us informed and laughing as we drove through Honolulu and a fallen soldier cemetery on the way to Pearl Harbor. We learned about how the reservations work, native Hawaiian life and culture, and the MANY, MANY types of Spam there are in Hawaii! Pearl Harbor Experience with Reserved Tickets to Arizona Memorial & City Tour

Awesome tour.

The bus had multiple stops to pick up customers our driver was very knowledgeable about all of Hawaii. He provided solid information about going to the Arizona Memorial first. The wind was picking up making the water choppy and the shuttle could stop ferrying tourists. So we were able to get on the boat as stand-by then come back and walk through the museums. Given a lot of good information about the Punch Bowl as we drove through the grounds! If you are in Honolulu this tour is a must.

Great way to pre-order and have passport ready to avoid the day of lines!

Well organized and efficient/enjoyable tour Bus ride out and back was very informative of the time from a local perspective. All the arrangements and timing at the historic site with its distinct ticketing ( mighty Mi, the AZ memorial) was seamless and great. Highly recommend for a fine and necessary day trip on Oahu.

Great tour with a great host

We had a family of eight on this tour and all enjoyed themselves. The bus arrived at our pickup point on time. The driver/host was very knowledgeable about Pearl Harbor as well as other local sites. The only slight drawback was the sound system on the bus was acting up and occasionally produced feedback (no the fault of the driver/host). She dealt with it as best she could. We arrived at all the tour points of interest on time and had plenty of time to view each. Given the clear instructions from the driver/host, we knew exactly when to be where. The lunch was good and the location in the aviation museum was enjoyable. We finally were returned to the pickup point, also on time. All-in-all a very enjoyable and interesting day. I highly recommend it.

Educational, comfortable, and engaging!

[Reviewed by HawaiiActivities.com Staff] On 11/09/2023 I went on this Pearl Harbor tour, and had a full day of education. This was my first time at Pearl Harbor, and I'm so glad I went with Polynesian Adventure Tours. They were on time for pick up, the bus was so comfortable, and the guide clearly enjoyed his job with how much information he shared on Hawaii. When we arrived to Pearl Harbor we were given a map, that was so helpful! Each section of PH on the map was numbered, that kept me on track of the schedule of the day. Without this map I would have been so lost! Each museum we were given plenty of time to read all the information, if you are a quick reader you may feel like it's too much time, but I felt like it was the perfect amount of time. My favorite was the submarine!! Lunch was so yummy, and was a very generous proportion. Was served in the middle of tour which was perfect for giving me energy I needed for the rest of the day. Highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, because there is a lot of walking throughout the day. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a guided tour, and who isn't renting a car while on island.

Good tour, well run, would recommend

Very early pick up but tour was well organised. Only concern was having lunch at about 11.15am in aviation museum - a bit too early. Not sure the 10 minute quick stop on the way back into Honolulu counted as a city tour. Otherwise a good tour highly recommended for a full day.

Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial Tour with Transportation from Waikiki & Ko Olina

Enlightening entertainment.

The biggest draw for this tour is that the pickup point was directly at Disney's Aulani Resort. (Not too many other similar tours had stops there!) Our driver Quentin made the trip a very informative one with his vast knowledge of the landmarks and places of interest. He was also very receptive to people's questions and stuck true to form with timings of tours, particularly dropoffs and pickups from the Pearl Harbor Memorial. I would like to extend special thanks to Quentin for allowing me to take a much needed bathroom break during the Honolulu portion of the tour. The main problem, however, was that downtown Honolulu has absolutely no public restrooms anywhere, so if you don't use the restroom at the Pearl Harbor Memorial, you are screwed. Unfortunately, I had to learn that the hard way! Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed this, and I believe the party I was with did too!

Not enough time

Not enough time for the Bowfin and Missouri! Especially the Missouri is so valuable and amazing! Introduction saying drop off 16:15-17:00, but our tour actually ended by 14:30 (return from Missouri), I have no idea why but it happened like this. If we have more time, could be definitely better, a bit disappointed.

The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is the starting point for experiencing the World War 2 Valor In The Pacific National Monument. Pearl Harbor tour-goers can watch a film about the attack on Pearl Harbor, browse informative displays, and learn about the events that led to the US entering WWII. There are also snack areas and food vendors available.

The USS Arizona Memorial is where visitors can honor and reflect on the heroes of the Day of Infamy and pay tribute to the sailors and marines killed on December 7, 1941. The memorial is built over the remains of the USS Arizona Battleship, and visitors can read the names of the 1,177 individuals who lost their lives. There is also an oil leak, known as the Black Tears, on the surface of the sunken remains facing the USS Missouri.

The USS Missouri is the last battleship built by the US Navy, finished in 1944. It earned 11 Battle Stars during its tour of duty. Visitors can walk the decks to learn about its history and stand on the spot where Japan surrendered, marking the end of WWII.

The USS Bowfin Submarine , also known as the Pearl Harbor Avenger,  was launched on December 7, 1942, exactly one year after the Pearl Harbor Attack. The sub resupplied troops and provided medical assistance during combat. Visitors can tour it and see artifacts from other submarines, including a collection of sub-launched missiles.

The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum displays airplanes in historic hangars from the past 80 years. The museum includes interpretive displays, historical artifacts, and plane remnants.
