What Guests are Saying

Cyclist in countryside near Madison

A very well-conceived trip with fun routes, excellent food, and interesting side tours. We felt Trek was fully behind us whilst enjoying the freedom of self-guidance. And the Trek bikes inspired confidence!

John, Trek Travel Guest

A person wearing a cycling helmet smiles as her photo is taken with Lake Menona of Wisconsin in the background

We very much enjoyed our trip. We didn’t prepare at all and the bikes were a different style than we were used to. We very much enjoyed Madison, the Mansion Hill Inn and it’s staff, the restaurant recommendations, reading the Trek story, and the landscape around Wisconsin. Different length trip options were helpful to us and we chose the short options each time. We felt well supported by the Trek team during the trip. We celebrated our 60th birthdays by booking the trip and we are glad we did!

MILWAUKEE: The Wisconsin Bike Fed announces its annual Wisconsin Bike Week June 1 – 9, 2024. With festivities scheduled around the state, Bike Week is an opportunity to celebrate life by bike and promote local businesses. This year’s theme is “Bikes Mean Business” which focuses on highlighting businesses that are bike friendly and demonstrates how bikes are good for tourism and the local economy .

“We encourage residents to enjoy festivities and also show support for local bike shops, restaurants, and stores during Bike Week,” explains Bike Fed Events Manager Heather Rainer . “Taking time to thank businesses that provide bike accessibility, amenities, and discounts helps inspire the community’s biking culture and enhance overall quality of life.”

Wisconsin Bike Week is supported by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Numbers 4 Nonprofits , as well as recognized by Proclamation from Governor Evers . Scheduled events can be found on the Bike Fed’s online event calendar and searched by date, city, or the full “Bike Week” category.

For information on how to get involved with Bike Week and the Bike Fed’s mission, including membership that includes Bicycle Benefits , visit wisconsinbikefed.org or contact the non-profit organization at 414-626-1540 and [email protected] .
