Won’t stay together, and the floss is terrible

I really tried to like these products, but the toothbrush won’t stay together and has to be reassembled mid brush, and flat out quit tonight, haven’t replaced the battery yet but it’s only 3 weeks old, very frustrating The floss dispenser is a great idea poorly executed the floss is like sewing thread, very thin and breaks easily

Love this toothpaste

So very glad I tried Quip toothpaste. Nice taste, feels fresh and clean. When you add the Quip mouthwash it's even BETTER! How could that be possible? So very glad to be a Quip customer. I've even added family members because Quip is that awesome!

Terrible customer service

My toothbrush stopped working after 6 mos and i was told i would be sent a replacement 2 months ago — still no replacement . I have inquired multiple times but only received one reply stating that ‘it was probably lost in the mail “ and asked for an address confirmation which i promptly provided. Still - no toothbrush .worst customer service experience I’ve ever had .

quip Anticavity Toothpaste is American Dental Association-accepted with the right ingredients to prevent cavities. Following the advice of dental professionals and the ADA, our paste includes fluoride for its tooth-strengthening, anticavity properties, xylitol, which helps to inhibit the growth of cavity-causing bacteria, and silica which gentle on teeth. Plus, it’s free of SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), parabens, and preservatives.

Active ingredients: 0.24% sodium fluoride (0.14% w/v fluoride ion). Inactive ingredients: Glycerin, Water, Hydrated Silica, Sorbitol, Erythritol, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Flavor, Xylitol, Cellulose Gum, Sucralose, Titanium Dioxide

Strawberry Basil Moscow Mule

• 5 fresh Strawberries
• 5 fresh Basil Leaves
• 1½ ounces Vodka
• juice from ½ a Lime
• Ginger Beer
• Crushed Ice
• 1 tablespoon Agave Syrup (optional if you’d like it a bit sweeter)
• Make sure your vodka and ginger beer are chilled. I like to store my vodka in the freezer as it won’t freeze but stays nice and cold.
• Start by chopping the strawberry into small slices. It helps if you have really juicy, ripe strawberries. Then place the strawberries in a copper mug. Tear the basil leaves and add them to the strawberries.
• Squeeze half a lime into the copper mug and add a splash of ginger beer. Then muddle the mixture until it’s fairly broken down and the flavors have combined.
• Add the vodka and agave syrup at this point. Again the agave is optional, but if you want it a little sweeter, it’s a nice addition.
• Finally fill the mug with crushed ice and fill it up with ginger beer. Top with more strawberry slices, a few basil leaves and some lime slices for garnish. Enjoy right away!

Strawberry Mule (Only 4 Ingredients!)

Nothing beats a crisp and refreshing Strawberry Mule in Spring and Summer! This Strawberry Moscow Mule is a fruity twist on the classic Moscow Mule.

Strawberry Mules, made with muddled fresh strawberry, are a bit more flavor forward that the original. This vodka -based strawberry cocktail is bubbly, slightly spicy and vibrant and contains just 4 mandatory ingredients.

Ingredients

Only a few simple ingredients are required to make this Strawberry mule recipe.

Ginger Beer –  Try the different brands to see which one you like best as they all differ in flavor.

Fresh Strawberries – You could also sub in frozen strawberries with success. You will need to thaw them first.

Lime Juice –  Skip the bottled lime juice and go straight to the produce aisle. Fresh lime juice makes a huge difference to the final flavor, so don’t overlook this ingredient.

Mint – While not 100% mandatory, it adds a ton of flavor so we recommend using.

TIP – many of these ingredients can be used to make the popular Pimm’s Cup Cocktail .

Best Vodka For Moscow Mules

Use what you have on hand, as long as it’s not a low shelf brand. Those leave horrible aftertastes you want to avoid at all costs. Our favorite vodka brands: SKYY Vodka, Deep Eddy’s and Titos.

Variety of Ginger Beer

There are quite a few brands of ginger beer to choose from. We discuss them at length in our  Mexican Mule  post, so head over there if you’d like a recap.

Q Ginger Beer is our favorite since it has maximum carbonation and spice. Bundaberg and Fever-Tree are two other popular options.

Copper Mugs For Moscow Mules

Moscow Mule Strawberry  are typically served in copper mugs when ordered at a bar or restaurant. The copper keeps Moscow Mule recipes ice cold as intended. We bought this set on Amazon and love it.

If you don’t have copper mugs, a highball glass is a great option.

Strawberry Mule Variations

Here’s how to mix up this Strawberry Mule drink, if you’re looking for an extra bump of flavor.

Extra Sweet – Add 2 tbsp of simple syrup to sweeten it up. Original mules do not have added sugar; we feel the strawberries add enough sweetness to the drink.

Spicy –  muddle some jalapeños in the bottom of the mug, before adding the ice, to add some heat.

Party Punch – Scale up and make a “party punch”. Add the vodka and lime juice to a large pitcher and stir. When ready to serve, add the muddled strawberries, mint and ginger beer. As ginger beer is carbonated it will go flat if add too far in advance.

• 6 fresh strawberries, thinly sliced + more for garnish
• 5-6 fresh mint leaves ((*Note 1))
• 4 oz vodka

• 8 oz ginger beer

Instructions

• Add the sliced strawberries and mint leaves to a copper mug, or highball glass, and lightly muddle.
• Fill the mug 3/4 way with ice and add the vodka and lime juice. Gently stir to combine.
• Add the ginger beer and gently stir to combine. Add extra ice, if needed to fill the mug.

Strawberry Moscow Mule

Sweet and a little tart, this Strawberry Moscow Mule recipe is a twist on the classic cocktail! Calling for fresh strawberries, lime juice, ginger beer and vodka, this mixed drink is perfect for the spring and summertime. Makes 1 drink, but can be turned into a pitcher.

Y’all know I am all about a good seasonal Moscow Mule . So this month, I’m bringing you a mule that features my favorite fruit of all time: the strawberry.

When we lived in Louisiana, March was the month that local strawberries went wild at the markets. There were so many strawberries that you could buy a flat for $20.

It was amazing, and the years that we lived there, I overdosed on strawberries during the month of March. (Hello,  Strawberry Mousse,  Strawberry Vinaigrette , Strawberry Pineapple Agua Fresca  and  Strawberry Syrup . I LOVE YOU. )

So it’s fitting for me to share this Strawberry Moscow Mule with y’all this month because it’s springy and seasonal and bright and is perfect for any gatherings.

The Strawberry Mules bring out the best of the Moscow Mule flavor.

The strawberries add sweetness; the ginger offers a little bit of spice; the lime offers some much-needed acidity, and the vodka adds a little zing.

Funnily enough, I actually made this drink last summer and ran out of time to share it with y’all. So if you’re looking for a mule that is non-alcoholic, let me just tell you: this one works without the booze, too!

As someone who is obsessed with fresh fruit and her drinks, I highly recommend giving this a try. Especially since strawberries are going to be everywhere soon.

How to make a Strawberry Moscow Mule

This mule is a simple one to make.

First and foremost, muddle the strawberry. Next, add the ginger beer, the vodka, simple syrup and lime juice.

Stir, add ice, garnish, and boom! You’re done, and it’s time to enjoy this goodness.

Pro tip: Quadruple the ingredients to make this into a pitcher drink! “Muddle” the strawberries in the food processor or a blender, then combine everything in a pitcher and serve immediately.

Erin’s Easy Entertaining Tips

A Strawberry Mule is the perfect cocktail to mix up for a spring or summertime gathering. Whether you’re hosting girlfriends or a kid’s birthday (what? you don’t serve mixed drinks to your kid’s friends parents?), this light drink works well for a crowd!

• Muddle your strawberries in advance. If you make these beauts individually, muddle those strawberries 1-2 hours beforehand, and let them get really juicy!
• Make it a pitcher drink. If you’re serving a crowd and don’t want to mix them individually, blend up the strawberries in the blender or food processor and throw all the ingredients into a pitcher. Quadruple the recipe (or more!) to have enough for all!
• Swap out the strawberries for a different berry. If you don’t love strawberries or can’t find good ones, use another berry! Just be aware that swapping the berries might call for more or less simple syrup. Taste the fruit and the drink before adding the simple syrup, then add it a little at a time until the sweetness if perfect for your tastebuds.

What if i don’t have fresh strawberries can i use frozen strawberries in this mixed drink.

You can absolutely use frozen strawberries if you don’t have the fresh variety. However, if you use them, I recommend letting them thaw, then blending them up in a blender before mixing this drink.

Why is it called a Moscow Mule?

Back in the 1940s, Americans thought vodka was gross. Subsequently, they wouldn’t drink it. 

Legend has it that a the bartender at L.A.’s Cock ‘n Bull mixed up this beverage after listening to three businessmen—a vodka maker, a ginger beer maker and a copper mug maker—lament about their lack of sales.

Or maybe he had just had too much of all three and created this cocktail to move product.

Whatever  actually  happened resulted in a delicious drink, traditionally served in a copper mug.

What are some other fruits you can use in a Moscow mule? 

The world is your oyster here! Whatever fruit you use, just muddle or blend it like you do with the strawberries in this one.

Be aware that you might have to add more simple syrup, depending on the sweetness of the fruit used.

Can I make this mule without alcohol?

Ingredients    1x 2x 3x

• 5 strawberries muddled
• 3 oz. ginger beer
• 1 ½ oz. vodka
• 1 oz. simple syrup
• ½ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice freshly squeezed
• Ice for serving
• Fresh mint for garnish
• Copper mugs
• Mini angled measuring cup
• Cocktail mixing spoon

Instructions  

• Slice the strawberries.
• Place the strawberries in a glass (a copper mug or your glassware of choice—we aren’t picky here!), and muddle with a muddler.
• Measure the ginger beer, vodka, simple syrup and lime juice into the glass on top of the strawberries.
• Use a spoon to stir the ingredients until well-combined.
• Top with ice, garnish with an additional strawberry and a sprig of mint, and enjoy immediately.

What type/flavor of simple syrup do you recommend

Hi! Just saw your comment and wanted to email you to say a classic simple syrup is what I recommend with this drink. You could also do a mint simple syrup, but that’s not something I would do unless I already had it on hand.
