Not recommended unless if you really don't have anywhere else to stay. The room was very dirty especially the shower, there was tissue stuffed in the peep hole of the door, the bedding was sparse, and the iron was missing, and there was hair all over the place. It also seems to be very unsafe, people were hanging around in the parking lot and there were several verbal arguments, including one where a man was threatening to get a gun. In the middle of the night I was awoken to a woman screaming and crying outside at someone and telling people to help her and call the police, the police seemed to arrive quickly but it was very scary. It is not the place for children, and not restful or safe. I stayed here because it was close to the hospital I was visiting a loved one at, and ended up getting no sleep and having to cancel the second night of my reservation. If you have the means to find another place to stay, you should.

I had recently called and asked if any non-smoking vacancies were available for the travel inn hotel n Broadview,il ... I spoke to George,who answered the phone and he mentioned they had plenty... when I arrived , they only had smoking rooms available... An African-American woman was behind the desk when I called and requested a menu for the cable channels... I was on hold for nearly 3 minutes before she finished what seemed like a personal call on her cell... which I thought was rude and inhospitable... every time u flushed the toilet a small pool of water accumulated on the floor... and up until 3:00 a.m. there was noise going on outside my room and my neighbors n the adjacent room kept their t.v. on until the early morning hours... my stay was less than enjoyable and would not recommend this hotel at all !!!

I booked a hotel room online with booking.com for a room and when I got there they told me they had no vacancies. So I had to another motel for the night. The next day Travel Inn charged my credit card for my stay. When I called to ask why they charged me, the woman on the phone was hostile and extremely rude. She wouldn't let me finish talking before she started raising her voice and cutting me off. I could not get a sentence or even a question in. When my wife hears the lady being rude (from across the room), she insisted on talking to the woman. The woman, was belligerent to my wife and continued to talk over her, getting louder and louder. When my wife asked for the woman's name, she wouldn't give it. Asking, why we needed her name. When she asked to speak with the Supervisor the lady stated he would be in tomorrow, still refusing to offer her name. I was so bothered about how this situation was being handled that I waited an hour and encoded to call back. This time the manager answered. He explained to me that my reservation was made for the following evening, not the date I wanted it for, I asked why the person didn't explain that me when I arrived the night before so then I could cancel since I needed it then, they had no answer. He then told me he would "try" to refund me my money. And when I made a comment about the woman who wouldn't give her name, he said she was listening to everything on the phone right now. Clearly-- this place doesn't care about their customers because it's cheap and not well maintained and smelled bad. But I am a customer and regardless their staff should not be treating anyone this way. Stay away from this establishment unless you want to be accosted by their staff.
