Our guided shopping tours are conducted in partnership with ZTrend , a tour company that specializes in prepaid shopping tours around New York City. If our tour calendar does not work for you, or if you are interested in taking other tours they offer, then please visit their website. Use the code freetoursbyfoot to receive a $40 discount on any tour you book with them.
This guided shopping day is for the sophisticated shopper interested in high-quality product from independent merchants, New York artists and designers, many who produce garments and one-of-a-kind items locally.
When shopping independent merchants, you can count on better customer service, products with fantastic workmanship, and store owners you can trust. Get in touch with the things you have and learn about the people who are involved in their creation. Every person and material product has a compelling story waiting to be told.
We will begin our day at a local cafe in the heart of NoLIta where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a bite to eat or a morning beverage. From there, allow our guides to take you off the beaten path and bring you to some of New York's most wonderful boutiques that most people don’t know about. No chain stores or mass-market retailers. This shopping day will cater to people who are looking to shop for artisanal items that are uncommon to big box stores.
Merchandise available on NoLita and SoHo Shopping Tour:
- Gifts and novelty shops
- Designer consignment boutiques (optional)

What is a shopping tour?
What is a shopping tour/FAQ’s?
A Style Room shopping tour is a 5 hour, private shopping experience in NYC into exclusive fashion designers’ showrooms and studios. Longer or shorter customized tours can always be arranged.
On this private behind-the-scenes tour, you will be personally escorted behind locked doors only open to clothing and accessories store buyers, store owners, magazine editors and stylists, not consumers. Showrooms and studios are where boutique, store owners and buyers come to see new collections months before they are produced for stores.
They are where magazine editors browse when they’re looking for clothing and accessories to feature on models for their upcoming stories. They are where fashion stylists come to pull items for their celebrity clients and photo shoots.
You will meet designers along your tour and see new collections being brought to life for next season. It will make everything you buy that much more special. The majority of the designers on our tours sell to Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Intermix and high-end boutiques across the country and globe. On a private Style Room NYC shopping tour experience, you will be brought into up to 5 different fashion designers’ showrooms and studios. You can purchase brand new current season clothing, handbags, jewelry and accessories (stock, not samples) directly off the racks and shelves at up to 65% off retail.
Why Book a Private VIP Shopping Tour?
On a Private Style Room VIP Shopping Tour Experience, it’s YOUR tour. You will not have other individuals you do not know on your tour while meeting designers face-to-face inside their showrooms and studios.
ARE YOU A NYC PERSONAL SHOPPER OR STYLIST?
I feel a personal shopper is someone who helps you find particular pieces for an event. I do not do that. I customize your private tour to suit your style and likes for everyday by asking for a few labels inside your closets, seeing full length photos, and finding out about your lifestyle. So you can say I’m a personal stylist who’s taking you on a personal shopping experience with a twist as we go behind locked doors and I’m pulling styles I feel you will love for multiple uses.
DO YOU HAVE EXAMPLES OF HOW MUCH I CAN SAVE AFTER THE DISCOUNTS?
- Fashion Jewelry: retail $250-$600 (your prices on average $150-$350).
- Accessories: retail $250-$400 (your prices on average $100-$180).
- Women’s Clothing: retail $450-$1,600 (your prices on average $295-$795).
Our designers sell styles that are perfect for lunch with friends, at the office, to parties. We discuss beforehand what your styles are, and customize your private tour from there.
What is a private VIP shopping tour perfect for?
- Girls Day Out
- Husband & Wife, Boyfriend & Girlfriend
- Anniversary Celebrations
- Birthday Celebrations
- Mother & Daughter
- Families Visiting NYC
- Tourists / Locals
- Spousal Events and Corporate Incentive Programs
- Student Educational Programs
How long does an average tour last?
About 5 hours. Longer or shorter customized tours can always be arranged.
ON A WALKING TOUR, HOW MUCH WALKING IS THERE?
We usually walk within a 4-6 block radius of the different designers to make it easy for everyone.
When are tours available?
As designers usually keep regular office hours, showrooms are only open Monday through Friday. While Saturdays can be arranged for special events and tours (minimum 10 guests), part of the shopping tour “experience” is seeing the showroom operating during regular business hours.
Where do we meet our tour leader?
Depending on the tour you choose, you will either be picked up in your luxury limousine or vehicle directly at your hotel, or you will meet in the lobby of the first showroom stop. Details will always be sent to you prior to the tour.
What should we wear?
As this is a tour, comfortable “fashionable” shoes are always a must. You are in the famous NYC fashion district, not bargain basement shopping. Designers and their sales team always look fashionable. Looking and feeling good is always vital when trying on beautiful clothes and accessories.
Please note that if you normally wear shapewear such as Spanx, you may want to wear or bring that with you when trying on clothing so you can see exactly how it fits before purchasing.
What kind of merchandise can we expect to find on the tour?
Brand new current stock. We have a very extensive list of categories from jewelry (fashion to fine upon request), handbags (day to evening), accessories, dresses (day & evening), women’s clothing (contemporary, classic, dressy and casual).
Can I return/exchange merchandise after the tour to the showrooms?
No. All items are final sale as you are getting exclusive discounts directly from the designer as my client.
Can I contact the designer directly after a tour to still get the Style Room discount?
No. You will be directed to their website. Start planning your next Style Room tour for new designers, new collections, and special Style Room discounts.
Do we know which designers will be on the tour ahead of time?
We do not provide that information as designers do not advertise selling directly to consumers in their showrooms. But looking at our photos gives you an incredible idea of the beautiful designs offered.
Can we request particular designers / categories to shop during the tour?
Absolutely, but it’s not guaranteed that designer is on my tour. We always have a wonderful assortment of categories & designers for each tour so you are happy.
What sizes are offered on the tour for women?
Most designers offer sizes USA 2-12
Are credit cards accepted?
Yes. We try to only work with designers who accept credit cards to make it convenient for you. Unless you have exact change if paying with cash, they prefer credit cards. Checks are not accepted.
***It is highly recommended that you contact your credit card companies before this tour to advise them that you may be doing more shopping than normal so they do not freeze your credit cards.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
No. Once you pay for your private tour, there are no refunds. That date and time has been locked in for your private tour, and other inquiries from across the globe can not book that date or time. Should you have to cancel your private tour, your tour is always valid for a later date. It never expires. Just contact me as soon as you can to discuss another date to book for your private tour.
*Please note that once you book and pay for a tour, we reserve the right to use photos taken during your tour for social media, press and advertisements.

73 Best Travel Gifts for Book Lovers, Beauty Gurus, & Everyone Else on Your List
By Madison Flager and Paris Wilson
When it comes to choosing the best travel gifts, there are many routes to take: You can get your go-to vacation companion something practical that they'll reach for every time they take out their carry-on. Or, you can gift something to encourage them to start planning their next trip (and hopefully invite you along). There are also gifts that bring travel to them, making the space between adventures feel a bit more like a vacation, and experience gifts to make their next trip even more exciting. No matter the occasion, or the traveler, we've rounded up nearly 60 travel gifts from brands we love, so you can find something for each person on your list.
For even more specific gift guides, be sure to check out all our recommended gifts for travelers, which we've gathered for you here . And keep an eye on the calendar—the sooner the better if you're shipping presents straight to a giftee, or mailing to yourself to wrap. Standard free shipping deadlines end as early as December 13 for delivery by Christmas, so aim to order by that date if you're hoping to avoid shipping costs.
This gallery has been updated with new information since its original publish date.

Ember Travel Mug 2
The charge on this mug can last up to three hours, but lasts all day when combined with the charging coaster. When left unattended, it automatically goes into sleep mode, but can keep the cup warm for up to two hours with the help of its thermal hardware.

Sleepy Ride Airplane Footrest
We could wax poetic about what our office has dubbed “the foot hammock,” but it all comes down to this : for those roughly 5'7" and under, it'll transform your in-flight economy experience. Sling it around your tray table and enjoy stretching out your legs (or curling up to sleep) throughout your next flight.
Ralph Lauren Cable Cashmere travel set
This Ralph Lauren travel set is a travel accessory you'll use again and again. It comes with a large shawl that can be used as a blanket, a small pillow, and a soft eye mask—all made from cashmere.
Zendure mini portable charger
For frequent travelers, a small, lightweight portable charger is truly a must-have. The Supermini portable power bank is extremely slim, durable, and is compatible with USB-A, USB, and USB-C ports.
Rifle Paper Co. AirTag luggage tag
If your giftee has gotten on the AirTag train this year, they’ll appreciate this handy luggage tag, designed to hold said tag and look aesthetically pleasing while doing so. The garden party print will add a Bridgerton-meets-cottagecore vibe to their suitcase, and the AirTag compartment is detachable, making it even more versatile.
Bellroy Tech Kit
Every organized traveler needs a good tech kit. We like Bellroy's for its many pockets and loops that will fit any size cord and offer a safe place to stash AirPods, portable chargers, and work-from-anywhere accessories like a mouse or Wi-Fi extender.
Dagne Dover Seoul Dopp kit
Ahead of the holidays, Dagne Dover released a new slate of items in its eco-friendlier collection. The Seoul Dopp kit, much like the rest of the collection, is made from 100 percent recycled polyester while the interior is made from a spill-proof recycled poly lining.
Canada Goose Trillium Parka Heritage
For winter travel, a thick, packable coat is a necessity. The Canada Goose Trillium parka is built for extreme cold but is by no means bulky, and actually has a slimming effect. It has a chin guard to protect the neck from cold air, interior pockets, and a hoodie with removable trims, giving your giftee some style options.
Comrad Knee High Ombre compression socks
Socks have a reputation as a boring gift option, but for travelers, these ones are an actually thoughtful pick. Comrad is known for bringing comfort and style to the world of compression socks, which are designed to help regulate swelling and keep the blood pumping through the legs. They're perfect for long flights, road trips, or just walking around sightseeing.

Pak Réve The Wilder Bundle
Trying to make it out of the house as a new parent can be stressful to stay the least. The Wilder Bundle, designed by Traveler contributor Jordi Lippe-McGraw , can fit everything you need and more. On the exterior, we see a full-size backpack, but its included attachments—a mini backpack, wristlet, and insulated lunchbox—easily snap off to lighten your load when you don't need them, or to be used separately.
Parks by Brian Kelley
From intricately drawn brochures and eye-catching advertisements emerges a collection of over 400 designs produced by the United States National Park Service over the last century, compiled into a giftable portfolio by photographer Brian Kelley.
Shinola The Canfield Sport
The Shinola Canfield Sport watch is a timeless piece of jewelry that can withstand whatever life throws at it. It features a stainless steel outer case and bracelet with a gunmetal finish making it extremely durable. Its sportier look is perfect for casual wear but the black finishing makes it easy to dress up.
Filson x Chris Stapleton Traveller Bag
Country music star Chris Stapleton recently collaborated with Filson on the Traveller collection that features both clothing and travel gear. One of the standout pieces is the rereleased archived duffel. The Traveller Outfitter Bag is one of Stapleton’s favorites and we understand why: It has an adjustable shoulder strap, a large main compartment for a few days' worth of clothing, and a comfortable leather grip handle. The leather on the handle won’t transfer any color and with each wear, the leather gets softer.
Browit silk sleeping bag
This silk sleeping bag sack gives a subtle glamping touch to any camping trip. The sleeping bag liner can be put into a sleeping bag for added comfort, or placed on top of a blow-up mattress or even a hotel bed. It comes with a drawstring bag that makes it easy to store and pack.

Sabah slip-ons
Comfortable shoes are a hot topic among travelers and these Sabah slip-ons have articles director Lale Arikoglu's stamp of approval . Handmade in Turkey, they come in a range of colors and are long-lasting: “After six years of ownership, my pair is completely intact with the exception of the color, which is slightly fading in a way that, if anything, has only made them look better,” Arikoglu says.

This is a niche gift, but there's someone on your list who will absolutely love it. Nixon's insulated beverage sling fits six cans at once; they can bring it along to picnics, camping trips, tailgates, or hikes to keep drinks cold and avoid the clunkiness of a tote bag or backpack.

Justin Timberlake just “Can’t Stop The Feeling.”
The former *NSYNC singer is currently midway through his ‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour’ that will take him to arenas all over North America from now until December.
That includes gigs at NYC’s Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26 .
Come fall, the 43-year-old returns to the Tri-State for concerts at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Monday, Oct. 7, Newark’s Prudential Center on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Buffalo’s KeyBank Center on Monday, Oct. 21.
Luckily, tickets are surprisingly affordable to see the “Selfish” singer live.
Based on our findings, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $16 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication.
Yes, you read that right. That’s less than it will run you to pick up a tour tee at the merch table after the show.
JT isn’t just bringing “SexyBack;” in a world saddled by inflation, he brought savings back, too.
Plus, if you dig into the archives, you’ll find that way back when we first reported on Timberlake tix in early February, prices started at $72 before fees .
Therefore, if you’re buying them now, you’re saving big time. Hey, sometimes, patience really does pay off.
As for other concerts on the nationwide run, all other shows have seats starting anywhere from $17 to $290 USD before fees depending on the show you attend.

Justin Timberlake new music
On March 15, Timberlake dropped his sixth studio album “Everything I Thought I Was.”
Made up of 15 songs, the “The Social Network” star reflects on fame, his legacy and life — and that’s just the contemplative lead track “Memphis.”
After that, Timberlake returns to the dance floor for the slinky “F**kin’ Up the Disco” and “No Angels.” This is the fun Timberlake you remember from the early aughts. All falsetto and club ready beats, no self-seriousness here.
Other standouts include the bubbly “Infinity Sex,” gorgeous ballad “Love & War” and hypnotic “Sanctified.”
Of course, you won’t want to sleep on his long-awaited collab on “Paradise” with *NSYNC, either.
If you want to hear the record in its entirety, you can find “Everything I Thought I Was” here .
Justin Timberlake controversy
In October 2023, Timberlake’s ex Britney Spears dropped a bombshell tell-all memoir that shed light on their early-aughts relationship.
The “Toxic” singer made headlines with a passage about “ Timberlake cheat(ing) on her and pressur(ing) her into getting an abortion when she wouldn’t have made that choice ‘if it had been let up to (her)’” according to the NY Post.
To get back at Timberlake, Spears’ fans rocketed her song — also named, “Selfish” but released way back in 2011 — to the top of the charts.
Spears, 42, took the high road and apologized for the brouhaha.
However, this week, Timberlake reignited the drama at his concert when he said, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely…nobody” before launching into “Cry Me A River.”
“Someone told me someone was talking…about me on the streets,” Spears responded on Instagram. “Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ??? I’m not sorry !!!”
You can read more about their rocky history here .

Features of a personal shopping tour organization
Shopping tours occupy a special niche in the travel industry. Those cannot be called business travels, but are used by tourists to solve practical problems. A trip to relax is not about those neither, but there is present some part of entertainment.
Is a private guide necessary?
Travels more often are made in group format: a travel agency gathers 10-40 people and takes them to a predefined route. Not all participants are satisfied: first, they visit only scheduled shops, the same for everyone, second, the time spent in each shop is limited. Small businesses owners who buy goods for their outlets, like this way of doing things. But people who want to renew their wardrobe and make it not only inexpensive, but stylish, are discouraged. Exactly these tourists become grateful clients of private guides.
During individual shopping you can carefully examine each item
What should a guide be great on
To make such a tour you need to have knowledge about the world of fashion. First of all, where are located the shops in which you can dress stylishly and at a low price. All these conditions are combined in outlets, shopping establishments offering huge discounts.
These stores are mono and multibrand. Firstly, all the goods are only of a certain brand, and secondly, there are various "names". Also, retail stores are divided into categories like factory (the goods arrive there from the factories) and mall (stocks for boutiques). The tour guide should know these features to understand where to take the customer who wants to get designer clothes, and the one who wants to buy a conventional model.
What more needs a tour guide, is the skill to know well the fashion trends and understand for what age and lifestyle are designed some collections. It would be ridiculous to send a business woman where they offer youth clothes, and a creative profession person to the section of business suits.
Follow modern fashion trends, and your advice will always be relevant
A shopping guide will have to learn the stylist profession. Of course, no one would require from him or her to create a wardrobe. But if choosing and fitting dresses, jeans, coats and shoes the accompanying person certainly will be asked to evaluate how this style, color and texture suit to a man and how one thing combines with another.
At home, the tourist could get some of the money spent on purchases in another country. It’s called tax-free, the amount of value added tax. Those who went to the shopping tour for the first time, certainly need to be advised about this by the guide.
Making up a program
To make the shopping tour be a success, the organizers must take into account a variety of factors:
- Time . Purchases are made when sales are going (otherwise it makes no sense to travel that far). In some countries, sales start in all stores at the same time, every year at the same date, for example, for summer collection of clothing. Or a network of commercial establishments holds promotions on certain days. You need to adjust the tours at these dates.
- Route . You need to choose what outlets to include in the visit plan, "luxury" class or more simply, with everyday or business clothes, etc. And also you need to decide if limit it to one city or to make transfers.
You can walk all day in such an outlet village
- Transport. This question arises not only when traveling between cities. Outlets are usually located in the suburbs, you need to get there in some way. Yes, there can be a free shuttle going there from the central districts, but tourists, who paid a personal tour will certainly want comfortable trips. So the accompanying person should rent a car.
Making a shopping tour is different from a usual guided tour: here the guide not only tells and shows, but also gives advice on the acquisition of clothes. However, he still acts as an expert, if not of history, but of the world of fashion.

Why Jennifer Lopez Is 'Sad' Yet 'Relieved' to Cancel Tour: 'She Needs to Take Care of Herself' (Exclusive Source)
"Life is a lot right now. As sad as she was to cancel the tour, she's also relieved," a source tells PEOPLE
Jennifer Lopez is taking time to recalibrate her life after canceling her upcoming tour .
A source close to the singer-actress tells PEOPLE that Lopez is "devastated" to call off her summer concert tour but understands the extra time to dedicate to herself and her loved ones is key.
"Life is a lot right now. As sad as she was to cancel the tour, she’s also relieved. She needs to take care of herself," says the source.
"The decision was something that her team encouraged," the source adds. "Everyone is supportive of her focusing on family right now."
Lopez's This Is Me... Live tour, in support of her latest album but also rebranded to be a greatest hits concert, was set to kick off June 26 in Orlando, Florida, and travel for shows in Austin, Dallas, Las Vegas, Miami, Toronto, New York City, Boston and more. It would have been her first tour since 2019's It's My Party Tour.
On May 31, however, Live Nation announced that the tour was canceled because Lopez, 54, is "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."

She said in her own message to her fans, "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary."
"I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again," added Lopez. "I love you all so much. Until next time."

The news comes as sources told PEOPLE that Lopez's marriage with husband Ben Affleck is "not in the best place at the moment ." The two, who famously rekindled their decades-old romance before marrying in 2022, have been living under different roofs while both in Los Angeles.
Still, Lopez and Affleck, 51, have come together to put on a united front at different events and milestones for their kids. Lopez and her kids, 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, attended Affleck's daughter Violet's high school graduation on May 30, alongside Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their other two kids, Seraphina, 15, and Sam, 12.

Lopez and Affleck were again spotted at Sam's basketball game in Los Angeles June 2, sharing a kiss on the cheek outside the sporting event .
"The graduation was a big deal. Jennifer wanted to celebrate it," one insider told PEOPLE, adding that the "very family-oriented" couple "want to put the kids first" as they work through the "heartbreaking" marriage strain.

A hint of home helps Robert MacIntyre secure first PGA TOUR title at RBC Canadian Open
Change Text Size
ANCASTER, Ontario – It wasn’t quite a last resort, but the call had a tone of desperation.
After parting ways with a former caddie at the Charles Schwab Challenge, Robert MacIntyre needed a fill-in for the RBC Canadian Open. A handful of queries went unfulfilled, so MacIntyre dialed up his emergency option – his dad Dougie.
The Scotsman didn’t want to inconvenience his father, who still resides in MacIntyre’s hometown of Oban, Scotland, and works full-time as head greenkeeper at Glencruitten Golf Club – but Dougie MacIntyre knows his son’s game inside and out. He coached him until he was 14 or 15 years old and was an accomplished shinty player, only without the funds to pursue his full potential at the sport’s highest level (MacIntyre describes shinty as “a cross between field hockey and organized violence”).
Dougie MacIntyre hadn’t caddied since DP World Tour Q-School in fall 2017, but this week marked a critical juncture in his son’s first season as a PGA TOUR member – the highly touted MacIntyre, 27, arrived in Canada at No. 75 on the FedExCup standings, right on the bubble to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs (top 70 after the Wyndham Championship in August). The call was made, and the answer was a quick yes – after confirming he could take the week off from work.
Robert MacIntyre’s emotional interview after winning the RBC Canadian
That call led to more than they could have imagined. MacIntyre earned his first PGA TOUR title at the RBC Canadian Open, carding a final-round 68 at Hamilton Golf & Country Club for a 16-under 264 total, one stroke clear of Ben Griffin. Not only does he get the proverbial monkey off his back, after a gripping one-stroke defeat to Rory McIlroy at last summer’s Genesis Scottish Open, but MacIntyre cements exempt PGA TOUR status through 2026 and qualifies for this season’s remaining Signature Events. (He’s also safely inside the top 60 in the Official World Golf Ranking, meaning he can cancel his Monday tee time at 36-hole U.S. Open Final Qualifying, in which his dad was also planning to carry the bag.)
Dougie MacIntyre is the first father to caddie his son to a PGA TOUR title since Jack Slocum (for son Heath) at the 2005 Southern Farm Bureau Classic. This isn’t a permanent arrangement by any means; MacIntyre said he has a full-time caddie scheduled to start at next week’s Memorial Tournament presented by Workday – which is a new addition to his schedule after his victory in Canada. (He might have liked to return home to Oban for some celebrations, he quipped afterward, but he figures a trip to Muirfield Village isn’t a bad idea.)
Robert MacIntyre pars the last to secure first win at RBC Canadian
MacIntyre is a chip off the old block, known on TOUR for his kindness and humility – which he certainly inherited from his father. MacIntyre’s parents (Dougie and mom Carol) are longtime foster parents; MacIntyre grew up with several foster brothers and sisters. The family wasn’t particularly well off; MacIntyre didn’t have the pick of the litter when it came to junior golf tournaments, but he was always loved, supported and encouraged. He grew to understand the rough upbringings of his foster brothers and sisters – some had been abused or neglected – and he learned not to take anything for granted. After his son’s victory Sunday in southern Ontario, Dougie MacIntyre gave away golf balls and towels to young fans, conversing and sharing in their revelry. He was in full dad effect.
“I think it makes you realize that hitting a white ball around a golf course isn't the most important thing,” MacIntyre described the impact of his parents’ fostering. “I mean, I've been in tears over it, kids going away from you. They become family. They have been in a tough spot. I wasn't given everything as a kid. I was given a great opportunity. My dad was obviously a really good sportsman, football, golf, shinty, didn't have the finances to really chase it, and I think it was something that my mom and dad always wanted to do. I've got two older sisters who are right into their horses, horse riding and stuff, but they even sacrificed quite a lot of that just to give me a chance.
“I couldn't play in golf tournaments as a junior because we couldn't afford it. I think that made me, that makes me fight and never give up, I think not being given anything. I mean, they gave me quite a bit. They gave me the opportunity, but never – never was I spoon-fed. I was always fighting for every bit of it.”
Dougie MacIntyre’s soft side complements a competitive edge that was also on display at Hamilton Golf & Country Club, coming to the forefront at critical moments on the weekend. The younger MacIntyre was on the verge of falling into a mental rut as he strode down the 10th fairway Saturday, having turned in 1-over 36 and sensing his grip on the tournament slipping away (he entered the third round in a share of the lead; he was four back at the turn Saturday). His dad sensed the spiral and wanted to nip it in the bud – MacIntyre has emphasized an improved mental game in recent weeks, taking negative thoughts and flipping them into a positive tone.
“He was having a wee go at me when I was walking from the 10th tee down to the fairway,” MacIntyre said. “Look, he was a sporting guy, he knows how to win, knows how to lose, he's been through it all. He could see my head going a little bit and he's like, ‘What have you been working on for the last eight weeks, 10 weeks?’ … I kind of flipped into that mode and tried to find the positive in everything.”
Robert MacIntyre's news conference after winning RBC Canadian
MacIntyre listened on the very next hole. After his tee shot caught a divot in the 11th fairway, he could have been “mumping and moaning about it,” but he told himself the lie lent itself to a cutty 6-iron. He played a 183-yard approach to the center of the green and two-putted from 20 feet. Then he played his next seven holes in 4-under, signing for a 4-under 66 and suddenly assuming a four-stroke lead into Sunday, where he withstood Griffin’s late charge (birdies on Nos. 15, 16 and 17) for a one-stroke win that he and his dad will remember forever.
The energy of their shared hug on the 18th green Sunday, amidst the cacophony of adoring Canadian fans, was surely felt back home in Oban. It’s where MacIntyre learned the game and what it meant to be a man. Both things coalesced this weekend, under the watchful eye of the man who has been there all the way.
“Unbelievable,” said Dougie MacIntyre on the 18th green in the aftermath, basking in the moment with tears in his eyes. He could barely speak, but the emotion said it all.
“Unbelievable.”

At 15 years old, Miles Russell is set to make his PGA Tour debut at Rocket Mortgage Classic
A 15-year-old will be making his PGA Tour debut this month.
Miles Russell will compete in his first tour event when he joins the playing field at the Rocket Mortgage Classic on June 27-30 at Detroit Golf Club, the tournament announced Monday .
already among the most decorated junior golfers in the country, the teen from Jacksonville, Florida received a sponsor exemption to play in the tournament. Even though he is a freshman in high school, he became the youngest player to make the cut in the Korn Ferry Tour, when he finished 20th in the LECOM Suncoast Classic in April.
In 2023, he as named the American Junior Golf Association Player of the Year, becoming the youngest player to win the award after Tiger Woods held the record.
Last year, he also won the Junior PGA Championship and the Junior Players Championship, and he earned a spot on the U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team.
"I am thankful to Rocket Mortgage for giving me the opportunity to make my PGA TOUR debut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic," Russell said in a statement. "Ever since I first started playing golf, my dream has been to compete on the PGA TOUR and test my game against the best players, and I’m looking forward to making the most of the experience later this month."
Even though he'll be in the tournament, he'll need a ride to get there. Russell's father is scheduled to drive his son in the courtesy car to the club during the tournament, Rocket Mortgage Classic director Jason Langwell said.
Youngest golfers in PGA Tour history
It may sound ridiculous for a 15-year-old to be playing among the best golfers in the world, but it isn't uncommon.
Russell will actually be the third teenager to debut on the PGA Tour this year, along with Kris Kim and Blades Brown, who are both 16. Kim also became the fifth-youngest player to make the cut in a PGA Tour event at THE CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May, and a week later, Brown finished tied-26th in the Myrtle Beach Classic.
The youngest player to ever play in the PGA Tour is Michelle Wie West, who played in the 2004 Sony Open at the age of 14 years, three months and four days, while she was also the fourth woman to play a PGA Tour event. Other 14-year-olds to play on the tour include Lorens Chan in 2009, Andy Zhang in 2012 and Guan Tianlang in 2013.
Russell will be the fifth 15-year-old to play in the PGA Tour, along with Bob Pasanik in 1957, Tadd Fujikawa in 2006, John Oda in 2012 and Oliver Betschart in 2023.

2024 RBC Canadian Open prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player at Hamilton Golf & Country Club
HAMILTON, Ontario — Rookie Robert MacIntyre claimed his first PGA Tour title at the RBC Canadian Open. He did so with his father, Dougie, serving as the emergency caddie this week. It was a cool story for the two-time DP World Tour winner and member of the winning European Ryder Cup team in Rome.
But it also comes with a sweet seven-figure check. MacIntyre took home $1.692 million from a purse of $9.4 million. Not bad for a week’s work and for the 27-year-old pride of Oban, Scotland. In fact, he more than doubled his earnings for his previous 15 starts in which he had banked $1,133,146.
