Never go on The One Travel & Tours (Five Stars Coach)!

Booked a ticket from The One Travel & Tours (also known as Five Stars - see photo). This was from Golden Mile Complex to Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya. Leaving Singapore at 11am and scheduled to arrive before 5pm. What I didn't know was that this same coach would make THREE stops enroute to pick up more passengers from Boon Lay (Singapore), and two drops at TBS Bukit Jalil (ourside Kuala Lumpur) and Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur (in frickin' rush hour) so my entire trip took 8.5 hours instead of 5-6 hours! I felt very cheated because they did not mention anything about stops enroute. What a con job!!

Attitude is terrible, the staff don't know how to solve the problem but she shouted at the customer in front of many people. I buy 6.45pm bus ticket, came on 6.55pm and wait untill 7.19pm to take off. Now i missed my flight at singapore to my hometown HK. They noted that the journey from melaka to Singapore Golden mile tower is 4 hours but they take me 5 hours with no jam in the highway. This is a terrible company I had ever see. Please don't waste your money to them!

Bad experience with starmart bus express! Poor arrangement and we have to change bus after the JB immigration.wasting time!

8:15am bus from Sg & arrived malacca 3pm. Driver lost the way to drop some passengers at Muar. 6pm bus from malacca & arrived Sg at 2:30am. Bus fetched at 7pm but no one was informed. The worse thing was one passenger was fetched at Muar & dropped her at Lakin which near woodland check point. And the driver drove Back to Tuas check point. When the bus arrived at Tuas check point, no bus for Boon Lay. Wait about 45 mins there. Pls don’t take starsmart express. I’m not sure how will b other bus express service.

It was my bad experience with startmart bus.we reached golden mile sabout 3.pm buy tickets for 2 persons me n my wife my bus timing was 4.45 pm from golden mile Singapore to Times Square KL Malaysia bus number was AKX6 dated October 24. 2018 we confirmed from office do we eat in bus she says yes you can eat .she says you buy your own food we don’t provide but you can eat in bus. driver took out bus 10 minutes late from golden mile when we reached Singapore checkpoints he started misbehaving with my wife she just dropped 2 shells of pista by mistake after little argument I took that n throw it out side when we reached Malaysian checkpoint when I was taking bags out of bus he hit me on my back I was almost falling because bags was heavy n my hight is short he keep saying I hit him that bag. after immigration he drives almost 3 hours n stopped somewhere in Malaysia for take meals he gives us 20 minutes n we done it my wife bought peanut bag n bananas for hotal don’t know how late Restourent opened in Malaysia he was touching my wife n checking her hand carry what she bought n he keep saying I give you 20 minutes why you bought that stuff n takes that bags n throw out side.after a long arguments we said we are going to complain about you than he goes on driving seat after we reached time square he came out n says clean the bus n bus was totally cleaned when we declined he put the hand on my neck n throw me in bus n break my bag handle n hit me stone when I was walking we took texi n he keeps flowing us my texi driver was little smart he got some gap n get us out of him he dropped us on safe place it was worse trip in starmart bus. never ever traveling with starmart bus again

Starmart express from Singapore to Malacca. What was stated a 4hrs journey, took almost 6hrs!! Worst of all bus DIDNOT finish journey at agreed destinated stop as promised. Bus driver was rude and totally unprofessional, Bus registration no AJS222. Most unpleasant experience. It's our first and definitely the last time traveling with Starmart Express...their rate is cheaper for a reason, they give you cheap unpar service!! Attached photo of their rude, unprofessional and crazy driver whom refused to take us to our destinated stop but just park bus at a petrol station.

Wealth influx to Florida a boon to security providers, like this former Secret Service agent

T he post-pandemic migration of wealth to Florida hasn't just attracted billionaire financiers, as well as celebrities and other public figures. It's lured a bevy of for-hire professionals offering to keep them safe.

One of those is ex-Secret Service agent Lester Blount. Five years ago, Blount retired after a 20-year career at the protective federal agency, in which he drew assignments protecting Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump at his South Florida properties.

Since then, Blount has been developing a niche "executive" security business he says offers personal and technology-based protection services that he personally provides along with a handful of other former Secret Service and FBI agents he would not identify. The options include a sort of a-la-carte selection depending on whether the high-profile individual wants 24/7 coverage or simply a temporary assignment in case that person seeks to venture out in public for a show or a dinner.

Blount's LMB Security offers a white-glove service in a county where national and global security firms predominate. The industry big names located here include ADT, Allied Universal Security Services, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Cambridge Security Services, Johnson Controls Security Products and Tyco Integrated Security.

Employment statistics do not break out security jobs separate, but rather those positions are included in two categories, business professional services and technology. According to the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, where Blount's business is based, there are more than 30,000 people employed by the 21,000-plus companies in the two sectors combined.

A drive along a main Palm Beach roadway yielded security lapses, ex-Secret Service agent noted

Sometime ago, Blount said he was driving County Road through exclusive Palm Beach neighborhoods not far from Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate and noticed a lack of security cameras and other protective features in the homes he drove by.

"I can provide a lot of assistance to a lot of those residences," he said.

But Blount insists what separates his boutique firm is the top secret clearance status he and his team enjoy. That status allows him, for example, to pick up the phone and inquire about threats that already may have been made against a potential client.

It also includes the capacity to use drones in securing on a property, plus expertise in cybersecurity as well as explosives. Say you a client wants to go to dinner at a popular, trendy restaurant, Blount's team can run specially trained bomb-sniffing canines to detect explosives.

"I have top secret clearance and it's kind of hard to come by," Blount said. "I don't have much competition as far as that's concerned."

He offers security but also privacy, said ex-Secret Service agent

And there's one other level of security he offers — privacy.

"I meet all kinds of people, but I don't talk about them," he said.

Blount's resume lists the work he did at the Secret Service, including two years as the lead motorcade driver for then-Vice President Al Gore. During the Clinton years, he was also assigned to the White House security, where he coordinated protection in the residence with the sniper teams, the agents monitoring airspace, a counter surveillance unit and others.

Blount also worked the advance team to secure Mar-a-Lago when Trump ventured to his private club during his term in the White House. He was mostly assigned to the first couple's Palm Beach residence, dubbed the Southern White House, although he did occasionally venture with the president to events like his Super Bowl party at his West Palm Beach golf club and a fundraiser at the Trump National Doral resort west of Miami.

Who did he see and what happened? He will not say.

"You see on TV now cases where the bodyguards are telling secrets and stuff like that," Blount said. "But you don't have to worry about that with me."
