Booked with Paul Marsden.

Booked with Paul Marsden.. very impressed with his attention to detail and taking the pain out of the holiday booking process. Having the peace of mind that everything is covered is massive as you begin to relax and go into holiday mode. Will definitely make a point of booking with him again ….

This is the 3rd holiday booked with Elliot and Bethan Prendergast. Elliot was always at the end if the phone to answer my questions and he looked for the best place for us to stay while in Las Vegas. Elliot checked us into all our flights and messaged me when we arrived at our hotel to check we arrived safely and all was OK. On returning home Elliot rang me to check how the holiday went. The whole process was stress free. I would definitely recommend Elliot and Bethan to anyone looking for the perfect holiday. Once again thank you both.

Doug Tanner was faultless - thank you!

Doug Tanner was faultless from beginning to end. He explored lots of options with us to find us the best suited holiday to our needs - a cruise. He got us an amazing deal on a 14 day cruise and kept in touch to ensure we were fully prepared for our holiday. Our holiday was brilliant and Doug was outstanding. I would not hesitate to book again via Doug and am looking forward to using him again for our future holidays.

Rachel Tredwell truly is the fairy godmother of travel. Having met her briefly at a networking event she convinced me of the dream honeymoon destination to St Lucia and it did not disappoint. She sent through a variety of information and was there through every step of the way. The hotel recommended was stunning, all transfers arranged and the entire trip was completely smooth. Would recommend her and will be using her again :)

Dream Honeymoon

Elliot and Beth Prendergast planned our dream honeymoon to Mauritius this June. They were incredible right from the start with helping us find the best place for us. Elliot was so easy to contact and always there if I had any questions for him. When it came to the week before the honeymoon he checked us into our flights and eliminated any stress we could have had. When we arrived to our hotel there was a lovely note left for us from Elliot and Beth which felt so personal and I knew that even though I was in Mauritius if I had any questions I could of just messaged Elliot and I knew he’d be able to help. What was really lovely is that when we arrived home I had a phone call from Elliot to check how the honeymoon went and to see if I had any further questions. We couldn’t recommend booking with Elliot and Beth enough, the whole process will no doubt be seamless and definitely stress free. I don’t think I can book a holiday again thats not with them! Thank you for everything.

Katie Welch has done such a great job with booking our Disney holiday. I have not been an easy customer and was so indecisive and changed things on many occasions and Katie was not fazed by it at all. Katie was so polite and knowledgeable which helped with me making a decision. I would definitely recommend Katie for anyone who is looking to book a holiday. 🙂

My first holiday using a personal travel consultant and my first trip to Iceland but hopefully not the last. Fabulous self drive bespoke holiday put together by Yvonne and IcelandProTravel. Lots of fun working out the itinerary. Flights, car hire, hotels and adventures all went smoothly and Yvonne made recommendations and sorted out last minute changes and a volcano! Will definitely be recommending and will use again.

Simon & Dean @ Jackwood travel. I gave Simon my list of requirements, plus the budget for a girl's 40th Birthday celebration, and he came up trumps with the first option. It was everything we needed, the hotel was great and we had the best time. Simon answered all my questions efficiently, dealt with all the paperwork ( big plus!) and was a general delight to help sort my holiday. I can't recommend Simon & Dean enough, and I will be asking them to book my next break.

The best girls holiday

We had the best girls holiday to Paris, all thanks to Jennette Andrews! She did lots of research for us which meant we didn't need to worry about finding the perfect options, as Jenette was always one step ahead! She was there every step of the way, even while we were on holiday she made sure to check in with us and if we were unsure on anything she was just a call away! So reassuring to know you have someone you can rely on at all times! I'm ready to book my next holiday already!

Trip to Marrakech-Amazing!!!

Pete and Laurelle Colvin (from Not Just Travel) set us up with a holiday to Morocco and it was honestly amazing. They were on it from the beginning, coming up with great suggestions of where to go based on what we wanted, and making it as smooth as possible to get it booked for us. The riad was beautiful and the staff were always lovely and very accommodating. It was a great experience for my girlfriend and I, and we’ll definitely be booking through them again

Outstanding Thai holiday - thanks Fiona!

We have just returned from an amazing holiday to Thailand organised by Fiona Allen. We visited Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Khao Lak and all accommodation and transfers were included in our holiday. This is the second trip she has planned for us having gone to Bali last year. Both times she has listened to us and perfectly matched the holidays to what we wanted and enjoy. We have already booked our next holiday with Fiona (to Cape Verde) and have full confidence that it will be another amazing experience thanks to her attention to detail and expert knowledge.

Had a great experience with Diane and Caroline arranging a last minute Easter Staycation for a family of 4 with a dog on a limited budget. They listened to my requirements and only gave me choices that fit the brief. We ended up having a lovely time in a family lodge near Ludlow in Shropshire. Thank you and looking forward to my next mini break to London arranged by you both 😘

Philippa Hawketts - thanks so much for our amazing trip to Thailand

Philippa was recommended to me. I needed to co-ordinate a 3-week trip to Thailand with my husband. One part of the trip was a business retreat, so I knew the date for that and the location. I literally asked Philippa to come up with an itinerary that allows us to see as much of Thailand as we could in the time frame. She organised the schedule, flights, hotels, transport between airports, hotels and boats etc. We didn't have to worry about a thing. All the hotels and locations were just perfect, I have never done this before as I would have arranged everything myself. But going forward I will reach out to Philippa again to plan my next trip. Thank you for taking the pain away and just leaving us with enjoying the trip. x

We are recently back from an amazing trip of a lifetime to the island of Bandos in the Maldives, booked with Shani Payne from Not just travel. Shani was friendly, helpful and arranged things for us. We received lots of information from Shani and she was checking on us to make sure everything was running smoothly. We had a few lovely personal touches from her too. If you would like to book a trip with the personal touch then I highly recommend Shani.

We recently returned from a fab holiday in Dubai that was organised by Alison and Tim Cooper. The level of service they provided throughout our holiday planning journey was amazing. They couldn’t have been more proactive with helping us to find the right hotel for us and the best flights. They then looked after us throughout our trip and even checked us in and sorted out all of our boarding passes. Thank you Alison and Tim Cooper.

Not Just Travel- Shani Payne

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday to The Maldives booked through Shani Payne. Shani put together around 5 or 6 options for us and once we had choosen our holiday she made the booking process so easy. Unfortunately we got caught up in the chaos at Dubai airport due to the recent storms but Shani did everything possible to keep us informed about our connecting flight to Male. After the initial problems at Dubai we had a fantastic holiday on the paradise island of Ailafushi. From the moment we booked Shani was always on the end of the phone to answer any questions we had and I can not thank her enough for her professionalism and help, so much so that we have now booked our 3rd holiday with Shani to Lanzarote in July.

Exceeding First Class Service

Ewa Jones has been so helpful in booking two separate holidays in the last couple of months. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and support has been outstanding. Particularly when needing something a little different (special excursions or extra services for travellers with special needs or hidden disabilities) I cannot recommend Ewa enough.

Taking the stress out of booking our family holiday

I decided to call upon Not Just Travel to help with our search for a family holiday this year after trawling through the internet night after night & not finding what we were looking for!! Sharon took note of all our requests & within a few days, found us our ideal family holiday. It’s taken the stress out of planning & organising & we can now sit back & countdown the days until we go, knowing that Sharon has it all arranged & organised. Will definitely be using Not Just Travel for the foreseeable future & recommending her services to friends & family.

Siyam World, Maldives

Andrew & Anthony were recommended to us by a friend. We were shopping around for a price for Siyam World, Maldives. The service that they provided was head and shoulders above other agents and the price was very competitive too, so we went ahead and booked ! We were very pleased that we did book with them too. Whenever we had a pre holiday query, Andrew got back to us straight away with the answer. He even set up a whatsapp group just between us so that we could ask any questions with ease. There were so many extra little touches that were very much appreciated too. Andrew Checked us in on all of our flights and did everything in his power to be as helpful as possible. We will be recommending Andrew Walker from 'Not Just Travel - Latitude Life' to all of our friends and will definitely be using again ourselves !

So helpful and patient

I just wanted to say a big thankyou on behalf of my Aunty to Deb Wilson, she helped her book every aspect of her holiday to Australia from pick up from her house to arrival in Melbourne. Deb was lovely, helpful and so patient. Every query my Aunty had Deb was there to talk her through each stage and reassure her. My Aunty can't wait to start packing her bags and meet up with family on this once in a lifetime holiday. Thanks again Deb!!

100% recommend!

We recently used Not Just Travel to organise our two week trip around the west coast of Canada. I would recommend them to everyone! All the usual stress of organising flights, accommodation and transfers was all taken care for us. Any questions before or during the trip were answered quickly by the team who really seem to care and show pride in the service they deliver. We have also used them before for our trip to Finland and are already thinking of our next holiday destination and will certainly be using Not Just Travel to assist us!

The SPF (sun protection factor) tells you the amount of protection the sun cream gives against UVB radiation. To give you the best protection from the sun’s harmful rays, it is recommended to buy higher factors (at least factor 15). When travelling to the USA by air or sea, the US authorities require you to travel under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) and to register for Electronic Travel Authority (ESTA) before you depart the UK. Passengers who have not applied for and received travel authorisation via the ESTA programme prior to travel, may be denied boarding, experience delayed processing or be denied admission at their US port of entry. You apply for the ESTA online and this establishes your eligibility to travel to the USA. The gaining of a visa or travelling visa-free with an ESTA is merely part of the travel approval process and does not guarantee you automatic entry to the USA; this is down to the immigration officer at the port of entry.

Advance Passenger Information (API) must be provided to the authorities before you travel. This required information includes your passport details and your contact information. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in your journey being delayed, either at check in or immigration. Not Just Travel cannot accept responsibility for incomplete or inaccurate information and no refunds will be issued if you are unable to travel as a consequence of this. Please see below for further instructions, if you didn't provide your API information at the time of booking:

If you're travelling with Thomson, First Choice, Skytours, Simply Travel, Twentys or Falcon - https://flightextras.thomson.co.uk/ to input your API - you will need your airline reference number, which you will find on your booking confirmation.

If the airline provider you are travelling with is not mentioned above, please contact your Travel Consultant.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct documentation to travel. These documents include: A valid passport, an appropriate visa (where required), travel insurance documents and health forms such EHIC. If you do not travel with the correct documentation, you may not be permitted to board your flight.

Not Just Travel will not take responsibility if you have been refused boarding, or denied entry in to a country if you have failed to have the correct documentations.

Some destinations require further documentation such as birth certificates for children under the age of 18 years.

For further information on what is required, please visit the https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/foreign-commonwealth-office

Further to the above, we advise you take with you booking confirmations such as accommodation, transfer, car hire vouchers, and any other documentation.

Flight times are subject to change, therefore, we recommend that you check with your airline or the website of the airport you're departing from for the latest information on departures.

The question of awarding star ratings is a difficult one. Star rating is subject to the Operator, or Accommodation supplier, not by us. If you have further questions on this, your Travel Consultant will be able to give further assistance to help you come to the right decision.

If you take medication, take enough with you to see you through the holiday and allow for possible delays. Always keep clearly-labelled medication and any medical documents in your hand luggage or in a place you can easily reach.

It may be essential to have a letter from your doctor stating your need for the medication – in case you lose your medicine and need more, and particularly if you're visiting a country with strict drug controls. You should always be ready to show this letter to customs officers.

The medication you take may contain ingredients that are illegal in some countries. Check with the nearest Embassy or High Commission of the country you're visiting, to find out about restrictions.

If you've got diabetes and are on medication or have a dietary restriction, you and your doctor should work out an individual schedule for meal times, taking into account the length of your journey and change in time zones.

If flying, ask your doctor if your impairment makes you vulnerable to circulation problems.

It's a good idea to carry a travelling letter – this gives a brief description of your impairment and, if appropriate, details of any difficulties that could occur and what assistance you might need.

The majority of tour operators and airlines now operate ticket-less travel. If you are required to have an e-ticket for travel, this will be sent to you via email. However, if you would prefer these to be posted to you, please contact your travel consultant. If your tour operator supplies paper tickets, these will be posted to you within two weeks of your departure. You will also be able to access these via the View My Booking Portal and retrieve them directly, if they are available.

The standard of accommodation and board basis on an 'allocation on arrival' holiday are guaranteed. However, the accommodation is allocated on arrival by the holiday company, and is subject to their terms and conditions. This type of holiday is ideal for those who want to book late and who are flexible; but isn't recommended  if you want  specifics, such as a property located near the beach, or particular features, like a swimming pool or a property with no steps.

You can book extra legroom seats on your flight, but this often depends on which airline you fly with. Your Travel Consultant will be more than happy to assist you with this.

E-tickets, which have been adopted by the majority of our suppliers, allow passengers ticketless travel. If the airline you are travelling with uses e-tickets, you will be sent the required information via email 14 days before departure.

You can also check the availability of your E-tickets by 'View My Booking' Portal. You will need you HAY-xxx ref number, name and date of birth of the lead passenger.

There are restrictions on what items you are permitted to carry in your hand luggage and hold luggage when boarding aircraft in the UK.

Taking liquids through security:

There are restrictions on the amount of liquids you can carry in your hand luggage. If possible, pack liquids in your hold luggage (this is the baggage that you check-in prior to your flight).

If you do take liquids in your hand luggage then:

Liquids must be placed in containers that hold no more than 100ml each. Containers should be placed in a single, transparent, resealable plastic bag, measuring approximately 20cm x 20cm. No more than one litre of liquids are to be carried in the plastic bag. The contents must fit comfortably inside the plastic bag so it can be sealed. The plastic bag must not be knotted or tied at the top. Only one plastic bag is to be carried per person and it must be shown at the airport security point prior to boarding your flight.

Containers larger than 100ml (except essential medicines), will not be allowed through the security point, even if they are only part full.

Liquids include:

  • All drinks, including water, soup and syrups
  • Cosmetics and toiletries, including creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, mascara and lipsticks
  • Sprays, including shaving foam, hairspray and spray deodorants
  • Pastes, including toothpaste
  • Gels, including hair and shower gel
  • Contact lens solution
  • Any other solutions and items of similar consistency
  • Cigarette Lighters

You can only carry one cigarette lighter onboard the aircraft and it should be put inside a plastic bag with any liquids you may be carrying. You must keep the cigarette lighter with you throughout the flight. Please note that cigarette lighters cannot be placed inside hold luggage. Download the Civil Aviation Authority's (CAA) guide for full details of what you can carry in your luggage.

Further information can be found on the Direct Gov website, however, Hays Travel is not responsible, and accepts no liability, for the content found on the Direct Gov website.

Currently, we hand-process your confirmation to ensure you receive a quality service, therefore we do not send email confirmations. However, if you wish to have your documentation emailed, please advise your Travel Consultant at the time of booking, who will ensure our Admin Team will complete your request.

Please allow 48 hours for this to be processed.

Check in for most airlines is 2 to 3 hours prior to departure. We suggest you allow for plenty of time to get to the airport in case of heavy traffic. If you are collecting your tickets at the airport, please allow additional time in case of queues. Please note it is your responsibility to make sure you allow adequate time to check in and airlines are very strict about this.

The currency used in the USA is the US Dollar ($). We recommend that your spending money includes an amount of cash, with the remainder in traveller’s cheques (or on a currency card). Please note that some places may charge when converting traveller’s cheques. This advice is applicable for anywhere where US Dollars are accepted.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any visas required for their holiday. If you're unsure whether a visa is required for your trip, information can be found by visiting the relevant embassy website. For visitors on package holidays to Cuba, visas will be provided by your tour operator within ten days of departure.

All our package and Flight-Plus holidays are financially protected by the Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL) scheme to give you peace of mind (our ATOL number is 5534). If the operator fails, then the ATOL scheme makes sure that customers don't lose their money or find themselves stranded abroad. The ATOL scheme does not encompass accommodation only or flight only bookings. For more information regarding the ATOL scheme and what it covers, visit the CAA website at www.caa.co.uk/atol .

We recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance for your overseas holiday. Should you require treatment while abroad or need to be flown back on medical ground to the UK, you can contact your travel insurance provider on their emergency contact number for further advice.

Name changes are subject to the terms and conditions of your tour operator or airline, and will incur amendment fees. Please contact your Travel Consultant who will assist in organising this for you.

To ensure you make the most of new and exciting dishes and to avoid an upset stomach during your holiday, there are some simple guidelines which we recommend: ensure meat products are thoroughly cooked and piping hot before eating; wash and rinse raw food; place cooking utensils in hot water before using them for food preparation; ensure all foods are protected from birds, flies and other insects.

Visa requirements vary from country to country. For information on passport/visa requirements and other general travel requirements, please visit https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa .Please note, it is your responsibility to make sure you have the correct documentation to allow entry, and travel to and from, the country you are visiting.

The majority of our suppliers now issue e-tickets. Information relating to your booking will be sent to you within 48 hours of the booking being made. There are, however, some exceptions. Some low cost airlines now require boarding pass to be printed before check-in.

Balkan Holidays e-tickets are issued within two weeks of departure.

When travelling with Easy Jet, you are required to provide your booking reference and boarding pass. - you can also travel by using the easyJet App

Ryanair requires you to print a copy of your boarding pass. You can also travel by using the RyanAir App.

All relevant documentation required for travel can be accessed and printed via the 'View My Booking' section of the portal .

If you book your flight or holiday within two weeks of your departure, some tour operators and airlines will not send tickets out because they are unlikely to arrive before you need depart. On such occasions, a ticket on departure (TOD) will be arranged, which you will need to collect from the airport on the day of your departure (you will be advised beforehand where to collect it). We do suggest that, if you have to collect a TOD, you arrive at the airport about 2.5 hours before departure, to give you plenty of time to go to the appropriate desk at the airport to pick up your tickets. Once you have collected your tickets, you will then be able to check in for your flight as normal.

Charter airlines such as Thomson provide in-flight meals at an additional cost. If you did not make this purchase at the time of booking and wish to do so, please contact your Travel Consultant. Low cost airlines do not offer this facility, however, many will offer a pay-on-board trolley service during your flight.

Your holiday accommodation is usually reserved for you from 14.00 hrs (dependant on destination) on the day that you depart the UK. For flights departing between 00.01 and 04.00 hrs, the day of departure is deemed to be the previous day. On some occasions, you may arrive in the early hours or during the course of the morning; in which case, your accommodation should be available immediately – this is classed as the first night of your holiday. Rooms are normally vacated at 12.00 noon on the last day of your holiday. However, in some areas, this may be earlier. If you are on an All Inclusive, Half Board or Full Board basis, you may lose a meal due to your flight times.

Policies vary between airlines, so it is best to ask about restrictions when booking your flight. It is generally accepted that you can fly during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. Please note, airlines can prevent travel if they are worried about how far along in your pregnancy you are. To avoid any issues, it is recommended that you get written permission to fly from your doctor or midwife. The letter should confirm your due date and state that you have been examined and are not likely to go into labour within the next 72 hours.

A private transfer is a taxi or other vehicle reserved exclusively for your party. Your private transfer will be waiting for you when you arrive at your destination airport, and will provide a speedy door-to-door service to your accommodation, without any stops en route. Private transfers generally cost more than choosing a coach or shuttle bus transfer.

All types of transfers usually include one suitcase per person as their standard luggage allowance. Additional luggage allowance, for items such as car seats or golf clubs, may incur an additional local charge, but we will be happy to arrange this for you if you contact our Customer Support Team prior to departure. Passengers take full responsibility for their own luggage on all types of transfers.

We advise you visit the relevant airport website for information on which terminal your flight will be departing from.

Not Just Travel is an Accredited Body Member of Hays Travel Ltd, ATOL 5534. who is a member of Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) and hold membership number K9413. ABTA and ABTA Members help holidaymakers get the most from their travel and assist them when things do not go according to plan. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA's Code of Conduct.

In addition, all our package and Flight-Plus holidays are financially protected by the Air Travel Organisers Licence (ATOL) scheme to give you peace of mind (our ATOL number is 5534).

Booking a Flight-Plus provides you with protction under our ATOL licence number 5534 in the event of supplier insolvency, but we are still acting as agent for the individual suppliers and a Flight-Plus booking does not constitute a Package. We have arranged ATOL protection for our Flight-Plus holidays. A Flight-Plus is where you purchase through us, at the same time or within a day of each other, a flight plus overseas accommodation and/or car hire from separate suppliers (i.e. not a package holiday). When you make a Flight-Plus booking through we will give you an ATOL Certificate showing what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong. On all Flight Plus holiday arrangements, your money is ATOL protected meaning that you will be able to continue with your holiday or receive a refund of the amount paid to us in the unlikely event of our insolvency or the insolvency of your service providers. Please note however that we have no liability beyond that for insolvency as set out in the ATOL scheme, because we act as agent of the suppliers. An ATOL Protection Contribution of £2.50 per passenger is payable to the CAA on Flight-Plus bookings and this will be reflected on your booking summary as a charge for "Flight Plus". For more details as to when a Flight-Plus exists and the protection provided under the ATOL scheme please see www.caa.co.uk .

During the telephone booking process, you will be asked for an email address where we can send your booking confirmation. If you don't have access to a computer, we are happy to send all documents to you by post.

Adequate travel insurance is a condition of your contract with either Not Just Travel or the supplier in question, as applicable. You must take out a policy of insurance in order to cover you and your fellow travellers against the cost of cancellation by you; the cost of assistance (including repatriation) in the event of accident or illness; loss of baggage and money; and other expenses. The cost of travel insurance is based on the type of cover requested, the age of the insured, the destination of travel, length of stay and any pre-existing medical conditions.

Yes, you can book on behalf of someone else. You will need to have their full name, as detailed on their passport, and also their contact details readily available. This is so we can send them their holiday confirmation and make contact should we have any queries regarding their booking.

We do not currently offer a facility online to hold or reserve specific seats prior to a confirmed holiday booking. The only way to guarantee the seats you are looking for is to make a holiday booking. We are unable to advise you on how many seats are left on the aircraft, as our computer system only shows if there are enough seats available for your party.

Half board means that breakfast and another meal, usually your dinner, are included in the price of your holiday. Coffee, tea and fruit juices are normally provided free of charge at breakfast, other soft and alcoholic drinks usually incur an additional cost. Visa-free travel to China welcomed by people wanting to reunite with family

A smiling lady in a pink hat and top waves her hands as she stands in crowd in bright sun outside Federal Parliament.

Jenny Zhang has plans to travel to China soon to reunite with her 100-year-old mum, and she has welcomed a move to give Australians visa-free entry for short trips.

"This is the best policy. It will provide great convenience to Chinese people living in Australia," she said.

"The Chinese community is very happy about this news."

The 15-day visa-free travel for Australians was announced by Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Monday, after a formal meeting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese shake hands while standing in front of national flags.

"We agreed to provide each other with reciprocal access to five-year multiple entry visas for tourism, business and visiting family members — so as to better facilitate personal exchanges, China will also include Australia in its Visa Waiver Program," the premier said.

This change will also save Australians about $110, the current cost for a single-entry tourist visa.

The new visa-free travel scheme is due to come in within the next few months.

An infographic shows a list of 14 countries that have visa free travel arrangements with China.

China's tourism industry peaked in 2019 at a value of $580 billion and has been recovering slowly, according to Statista.

They had forecast that it could take another five years to bounce back to pre-pandemic levels.

Not everyone happy with move

While Ms Zhang was thrilled with the upcoming change, Ramila Chanisheff, the president of the Australian Uyghur Tangritagh Women's Association said it would not help members of her community.

"Our family members … we can not even talk to them — let alone visit them," she told the ABC.

"Not all of us will be given visas to visit our family members. And if we do, we will be worried about our safety."

A woman with a dark top and blue and white scarf stands near a large crowd where people are waving flags in front of parliament.

Dawa Sangmo, the Chinese liaison officer of the Tibet Information Office in Canberra raised similar worries.

"The visa-free policy is not only an issue that relates to our safety, but a matter that is more beneficial to China and its government," she told the ABC.

A woman in a woolen coat stands outside parliament with a group of flag-waving protesters behind her.

There was not much detail in the announcement, but Premier Li did mention it would be "reciprocal", making it easier for Chinese travellers to enter Australia.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the second highest amount of tourists visiting Australia came from China, only behind arrivals from New Zealand, as of April this year.

However, overall, the amount of people travelling out of China is down 40 per cent from pre-COVID levels in 2019, Reuters reported.

Dagne Dover just launched its first wheeled suitcases — here’s what to know

This is the brand’s first rolling luggage.

We’re big fans of Dagne Dover here at NBC Select — the AAPI-owned brand is responsible for some of our favorite diaper bags , weekenders and backpacks . Now, the brand is expanding beyond weekender bags and accessories: it’s officially entering the rolling luggage space with a set of four soft-sided suitcases as well as a range of new travel accessories, including garments bags and packing cubes.

A Dagne Dover tie-dye neoprene weekender bag sitting on top of the brand’s new gray softsided carry-on rolling suitcase.

All of its new rolling luggage has 360-degree spinning wheels and is made from water-resistant recycled polyester material; it’s also all soft-sided. Below, we break down what you need to know about the new pieces before shopping.

SKIP AHEAD Carry-on luggage | Checked luggage | Travel accessories

Carry-on luggage

Dagne dover seattle carry-on rolling luggage.

Dagne Dover Seattle Carry-On Rolling Luggage

While the brand’s popular weekender bags are stylish and comfortable to take on flights and trains, they don’t beat the convenience of a rolling carry-on. The brand’s new Seattle carry-on bridges that gap: It has the sleek, modern look that’s at the core of Dagne Dover’s branding, but with more space, pockets and, most importantly, wheels.

The Seattle Carry-On comes in two sizes: 23.5 inches and 20.5 inches . The 20.5-inch option, despite being noticeably smaller, has similar features to its bigger counterpart, including a padded tech sleeve and included shoe bag. Both bags open two ways — there are zippers at the top and on the sides of the bag — so you have some flexibility on how you want to pack (or if you need to stuff in a last-minute jacket or hair tool ).

A close-up shot of a gray carry-on suitcase filled with packing cubes.

The 20.5-inch bag is your best bet if you plan on flying since it falls under the required carry-on dimensions for most airlines (which is typically 22 inches (length) by 14 inches (width) by 9 inches (height) including handles and wheels. The 23.5-inch suitcase does not. Both bags are available in four core colors: Onyx (black), Ash (gray), Dark Moss (olive green) and Warm Dust (brown/pink).

20.5-in. suitcase : Size: 13 x 8.75 x 20.5 in. | Trip duration: 2-3 days | Weight: 9 lbs. 2 oz. | Tech sleeve: fits most laptops up to 13 in.

23.5 in. suitcase : Size: 13.5 x 8.75 x 23.5 in. | Trip duration: 3-5 days | Weight: 10 lbs. | Tech sleeve: fits most laptops up to 16 in.

Checked luggage

Sydney checked rolling luggage.

Sydney Checked Rolling Luggage

The 28.5-inch Sydney suitcase is the largest in Dagne Dover’s new collection — it’s a great size for longer travel periods when you plan on checking your luggage. Keep in mind that if you’re an overpacker who often has overweight bags, both sizes weigh more than 10 pounds on their own without any items in them. The Sydney bag has much of the same features as the carry-ons mentioned above (minus the padded tech sleeve), plus an interior roll-up divider that lets you separate your items into compartments and three padded handles around the top and sides of the suitcase to make picking it up easier. There’s also a small pocket on the back panel to store your phone, passport or other small accessories. Plus, it has corner protectors to prevent your suitcase from getting scuffed up or breaking in transit.

If you’re going away for about a week and don’t want to haul a large, bulky suitcase, the 25-inch version is likely a better choice. It has all of the same features as the larger checked luggage but in a more compact frame. Both bags, which also come included with shoe bags, are available in four core colors as well: Onyx (black), Ash (gray), Dark Moss (olive green) and Warm Dust (brown/pink).

25 in. suitcase : Size: 17.5 x 11 x 25 in. | Trip duration: 3-5 days | Weight: 11 lbs. 14 oz.

28.5 in. suitcase : 18.25 x 11.75 x 28.5 in. | Trip duration: 7-10 days | Weight: 13 lbs. 5 oz.

Travel accessories

Roma packing cube.

Roma Packing Cube

The Roma packing cubes, which come in four sizes and colors (all sold separately), are made from the brand’s cushioned, recycled air-mesh material, which is soft and lightweight like its popular neoprene fabric, so they won’t add any extra weight to your travel bag, according to Dagne Dover. The small size can fit things like socks, underwear, swimsuits and small electronics and cords, while the largest size is spacious enough to fit several sweatshirts, sweaters, pants and bulkier clothing items.

Small size : 15 x 15 x 9 cm. | Weight: 3.2 oz.

Medium size : 20 x 33 x 9.5 cm. | Weight: 6.4 oz.

Large size : 29 x 33.5 x 11.5 cm. | Weight: 8 oz.

XL size : 34 x 42 x 14 cm. | Weight: 9.6 oz.

Capri Garment Bag

Capri Garment Bag

This foldable garment bag is helpful for traveling with formal wear for weddings, work conferences or any other event where you’ll be wearing a long dress or suit. When fully opened, it has a 1-inch-deep gusset to accommodate multiple full-length outfits — and a hook to hang it up when you reach your destination. It has four zip pockets for small items like jewelry and hair ties, two large zippered shoe pockets and a trolley sleeve to sit it on top of your carry-on for easy maneuvering.

Size (tote): 22.5 x 1 x 67 in. | Size (garment bag): 22.5 x 1.25 x 18 in. | Weight: 3 lbs. 2 oz. | Handle drop: 10 in.

Monaco Garment Duffel

Monaco Garment Duffle

Monaco Garment Duffle

If you’re looking for a weekender, gym bag and garment bag all in one, this duffel is for you. The bag has a padded laptop compartment and two main pockets to store your phone, wallet, passport and other essentials, plus you can convert it into a crossbody bag using the detachable shoulder strap. It can also fit multiple full-length gowns or suits as well.

Size (duffel): 21 x 10 x 13 in. | Size (garment bag): 21.5 x 1.75 x 41 in. | Weight: 4 lbs. 2 oz. | Handle drop: 6 in.

In addition to the products mentioned above, the brand also released:

  • A tech carryall
  • A slim laptop bag
  • A flap-top backpack
  • Small and large Dopp kitts
  • Small and large pet carriers

Philippa Hawketts has been amazing! I have asked Philippa to arrange a couple of holidays for me, one being a tame but interesting stag do as we are all older gentlemen with children. She did an incredible job finding exactly what we wanted, beach, beer, golf and great hotel location. Philippa is going to be very busy organising all my holidays from now on as she makes it so easy and stress free, everything is organised from flights to transfers to hotel and return! Very impressed! Thank you.

Prague Short Break

First time we'd booked a package holiday in years, normally just book holidays independently. We used Nikki Peachey @ Not Just Travel. She found us a holiday in Prague and although it wasn't in the area I'd been looking, we thought we'd give it a go. Location turned out to be perfect, very central and walkable to all the attractions. Easy commute from the airport. Hotel was lovely. Comfy beds, nice breakfast. Nikki knew exactly where we should be based. She also checked in on us whilst away, which was a lovely touch. Thank you Nikki for providing a great service

A holiday to remember

We met Tori (Not Just Travel) at a local summer fete last year and decided that as it was our 25th wedding anniversary this year, we really should make plans for a special holiday. We gave Tori a rough idea of where we wanted to go and dates and left it to her. We’ve just returned from a wonderful 2 week 2-centre holiday in Bequia and Barbados in the Caribbean. Tori organised flights, hotels (with a couple of options) and airport transfers, a day out horse- racing on Barbados, and gave us a contact for chauffeured airport transfers from home to Heathrow. Everything worked like clockwork, and surpassed our initial hopes and expectations. Truly the most stress free and enjoyable holiday I’ve had in a long time. Thank you Tori.

Perfect mini tour in Italy …

We have just got back from a brilliant little tour in Italy: Tuscany - Florence - finishing in Lake Garda. Zoe Harmer helped us put this together and we can’t thank her enough for how easy each step was due to the great organisation and support given by Zoe. Thank you so much!

Reshma is the best

Reshma is the best, I have lost count of how many times we have used her and I wouldn't consider going elsewhere. She is quick to respond to enquiries, thoughtful in shaping holidays and has endless patience. It makes the excitement of travel start way before you even leave for the airport.

Hassle free

Theresa made the whole booking experience easy and hassle free. I just let her know what we wanted and what we didn’t and she came back with some excellent advice and suggestions. The holiday was spot on. All the details were looked after and Theresa even checked us in online for the flights! I can’t thank her enough.

Not just travel Helen & Paul

Family holiday in Rhodes

We have just returned from a family holiday in Rhodes, organised for us by Nikki Peachey. We were going out for a wedding and wanted to make a holiday of it so asked Nikki to help us find a family friendly hotel near to the wedding venue. She was fantastic, and the hotel she found for us was just perfect. It was 10 minutes from the wedding venue, she helped us organise transfers and contacted the hotel about various queries and requirements we had for the kids. She also organised private transfers to and from the airport and everything was spot on. She even contacted us a couple of days in just to see how we were getting on and if we had any issues which I thought was really nice. We would absolutely recommend Nikki and will be booking our next holiday with her for sure!

Essential Vietnam and Cambodia tour

After a fantastic trip to the Golden Triangle last year, we had no hesitation in contacting Pete and Laurelle Colvin at Not Just Travel to provide options for a Vietnam and Cambodia tour. We choose G Adventures - first time for us going on a small group tour which fitted the bill and budget perfectly.

Philippa Hawketts is AMAZING!

Out of this world - I'm not sure what more I say about the personal support and genuine guidance that has been given by Philippa Hawketts. In the past using TA's, I have felt that they just want to fill the most expensive flights and accommodation available to line their pockets with commission, not Phillipa. She has booked all of my hotel, flights and transfers to a work retreat in Thailand and she is now managing bookings and support for lots of my clients in an upcoming Marbella retreat. Her care is second to none. Thanks you Phillipa! You are an asset.

Brilliant service

Amazing holiday Theresa Kelly@Not Just Travel Wanderlust booked for our family to celebrate my husband's 60th. Three generations, four families, all with different needs and asks and Theresa not only delivered but over delivered. Never used a personal travel consultant before but definitely will do again and Theresa will be my first port of call! Great service, great support, great follow up and some lovely personal touches. Thank you from us all x

Lynne Friery was amazing from start to finish. From helping us find the perfect holiday, recommending hotels that matched our groups budget but also location for hen party. Everything was handled efficiently and seamlessly from the team. The team also fed our requests to the hotel on our behalf. The extra touches included from Lynne were lovely and very thoughtful. I will be using Lynne with any holidays going forward but also recommending her to family and friends.

Fabulous Mauritius holiday

We had a recent holiday to Mauritius which we booked with Leyla Kent at Not Just Travel. Leyla really spent time with us to understand the sort of holiday we like and what we don’t like, and we were not disappointed. Leyla booked it all for us, kept us up to date and was very responsive to any questions so it made it all very easy which is important when busy life and work gives you little spare time. This is the third holiday Leyla has booked for us and every time it’s the thoughtful touches that really make the difference and all for a good price.

23rd May 2024 Dear Ben & His FABULOUS STAFF TESTIMONIAL – Las Vegas Trip I wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the help you and your staff, especially Karen who held my hand on my first trip abroad…where I was allowed to be in charge. I am not normally allowed to book things as we may end up at the wrong airport or even the wrong country!!!! With Karen’s support, I sorted a train and hotel at Gatwick as well as organizing taxi’s in Las Vegas……she gave me the confidence I could do it…and I did. And we didn’t get lost once! We had a fab time in Las Vegas and the Luxor is a great place to stay especially the pool area!!!! We were good and only played with $10 per day on Lucky Panda and came away with $10!!!!!! Thank you for helping me get my holiday booking confidence and I look forward to coming to you again in the future for another adventure! I would thoroughly recommend people chat to you (and I have), and plan great holidays to fab destinations. Your support and your staff’s enthusiasm to help is second to none. Yours sincerely Karena E-G

Top marks plus!

Having Philippa Hawketts organise our travel was awesome! From start to finish, she provided an exceptional level of service and made our rather involved travel itinerary so easy to navigate. Great communication throughout. She is such a lovely person who clearly takes pride in her work and cares about her clients' trouble-free travel experiences. I will definitely be using Philippa's services again no doubt about that!

Reshma Aggarwal - Amazing Travel Consultant

We recently went on a family holiday to Abu Dhabi and Thailand, and booked this via Reshma Aggarwal of Not Just Travel. She was amazing...completely understood our requirements from the holiday, organised everything for us in terms of transfers, wheelchair use at all of the airports for my mother, and even liaised with the hotel to create a special surprise birthday celebration and cake for my son who turned 6 years old. Nothing was too much to ask from Reshma. I cannot fault her service, attention to detail, and the time she takes to get to know us to understand how we like to holiday. We have just recently booked another holiday through Reshma, a short trip, and she is in the process of organising our next 'big' holiday in 2025. I would highly recommend Reshma for all your travel needs.

TSA says it screened a record of nearly 3 million people Sunday, and bigger crowds are on the way

The number of air travelers moving through U.S. airports hit a record Sunday, and the new mark might not last through next weekend.

The Transportation Security Administration said it screened nearly 3 million people at airports Sunday, breaking a record set on May 24, the Friday before Memorial Day.

TSA forecasts that it will break the 3-million barrier on Friday, when many people will be getting an early start on their July 4 holiday travel plans.

“We expect this summer to be our busiest ever and summer travel usually peaks over the Independence Day holiday,” TSA Administrator David Pekoske said.

Sunday’s TSA count was 2,996,193, or about 45,000 more than the 2,951,163 who flowed through checkpoints on May 24. Seven of the 10 busiest days in TSA history have occurred this year, as travel continues to roar back from the coronavirus pandemic.

TSA expects to screen more than 32 million people between Thursday and July 8, the Monday after the holiday, for a daily average of 2.67 million. That would be a 5.4% increase over the July 4 period last year.

Airlines for America, a trade group representing the largest U.S. carriers, predicts that air travel this summer will rise 6.3% over last year.

After traveling to over 40 countries, I have no plans to return to these 4 places around the globe

  • After traveling to over 40 countries, there are a few places that I'm not in a rush to return to .
  • Although I loved traveling to Venice, I'd rather explore different places in Italy next time.
  • I also thought Phuket was gorgeous, but would prefer other options for a beach vacation  in Thailand.

Insider Today

When traveling, I always try to approach each destination with an open mind and a desire to experience the culture, meet the locals, see the guidebook recommendations , and get off the beaten path whenever possible.

More and more people are choosing to travel in 2024 — a record number of about 15.9 million Americans have already traveled internationally in the first quarter of the year — and I'm on the same page.

I've been lucky enough to visit more than 40 countries and have traveled to six of the seven continents. Although I'd love to revisit some of my favorite places that have made an indelible impact on me, a few destinations haven't left me with the same desire to return.

Of the places I've visited so far, these are the ones I probably won't return to.

I loved Los Angeles, but one visit was enough.

not just travel stubbington

Growing up in Australia, I dreamed of visiting Hollywood — the place where so many movies are made. When I was 14, my mom said she was taking me to Los Angeles , and I thought I was the luckiest kid on the planet.

Beforehand, we spent a few weeks road-tripping around Mexico, checking out the Mayan ruins, eating local cuisine, and going to dance parties on the beach. When we arrived in Los Angeles, it didn't have the same allure as Mexico did for me.

We had a wonderful time exploring the movie studios, walking along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and driving by celebrity homes. But once I'd seen LA, I didn't feel the need to go back.

I actually did end up returning with my husband when we were in our 20s, as he was keen to tick off those experiences, too. But he felt the same way I did — there are other places we'd rather revisit.

Monaco was glitzy and glamorous, but it just wasn’t my kind of place.

not just travel stubbington

When we were in southern France, we decided to take a day trip to Monte Carlo, Monaco. My husband was desperate to see the Monaco Grand Prix , so I spent the day exploring the city with his mom while he and his dad checked out the Formula 1 race.

Walking around Monte Carlo, we were blown away by the opulence, which isn't surprising, considering it's ranked one of the top cities in the world on a wealth per capita basis . I don't think I've ever seen so many luxurious yachts or flashy cars.

The gardens were perfectly manicured, and the streets were spotlessly clean. However, it just wasn't my kind of destination.

We were constantly surrounded by wealth, but I prefer visiting places where I can interact with people from different socio-economic backgrounds.

I’m glad I’ve seen Venice, but it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

not just travel stubbington

Venice is one of those places that has to be seen to be believed. Built on a group of islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea, there really is nowhere else like it in the world. The absence of cars gives it a particular charm, and it almost feels like the buildings are floating on water.

I traveled to Venice on a European vacation with my now husband when I was 23 years old. We splurged on a gondola ride through the canals and marveled at the Renaissance and Gothic architecture. In Piazza San Marco, we bought an overpriced ice cream and checked out St. Mark's Basilica.

Venice is definitely worth putting on your bucket list, especially considering it's predicted to sink as soon as 2100 . However, it's probably not the kind of place I'd visit multiple times because I found it to be crowded and expensive.

If I go back to Italy, there are other places I'd like to see, like Lake Como.

Phuket is beautiful, but I'd rather explore other areas of Thailand.

not just travel stubbington

Phuket is home to some of Thailand's most popular beaches, seaside resorts, restaurants, and bars, making it somewhat of a tourist hot spot.

When I was 17, my parents took me there for a weeklong vacation, and we stayed in a resort in Patong. Although it was fun swimming in the resort pool and parasailing around the bay, I didn't leave wanting to return.

On return trips to Thailand , I've found other places I've enjoyed more. For example, I loved Krabi, a province in southern Thailand known for its limestone cliffs and sandy beaches. It was less crowded than Phuket and, in my opinion, much prettier.
