Team Builder Activities

Integration activities are an excellent tool to create engagement and collaboration between your group. 

At Maroma Beach we offer a comprehensive selection of activities to take place at a paradisiac location.

Participants will work in teams to overcoming challenges which are entertaining and at the same time focused on team building and integration.  All activities performed at the beach within a tropical Caribbean scenery.

The competing teams will face each other on several sporting activities, generating points in each activity,  looking for the best results to reach the highest point in the general classification and rise as the most successful team in our Beach Olympics challenge.

Boat building

This program offers a more interesting challenge. Competitors will have to build a boat out of simple materials such as cardboard and tape. During this process, creativity and working together will be vital. Team unity, collaboration and execution are essential to win.

Cocktails challenge

Each team must create the name of a bar, which is the name that will distinguish them throughout the activity, then each team will receive ingredients and utensils to work on several drink recipes and organize tastings.  They must present it to the panel of judges for scoring.

MIAMI (February 10, 2021) – Fans of SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and PAW Patrol get ready: Karisma Hotels & Resorts is opening Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya  in June 2021. Beginning today, travelers can book accommodations at Mexico’s first Nickelodeon Resort, featuring one of the largest water attractions in Mexico and all ocean-front swim-up suites, accommodating families of five, for the ultimate family beach escape. Now, families can enjoy a premium vacation experience themed to Nickelodeon’s most beloved and imagination-expanding worlds, with something for everyone.

Round the clock cleaning and sanitization of surfaces, workstations and all collaborators must comply with our strict sanitization procedures within all office areas and exterior working areas.

• Collaborators are subject to temperature checks upon entering and leaving the premises.

• All visitors are temperature checked upon arrival with a digital laser thermometer. 
• The number of guests per tour has been reduced to comply with social distancing protocols. 
• Usage of hand wash stations and sanitization stations are mandatory prior to commencing the activity.

Bonanza Ranch

The strictest hygiene standards have been implemented to ensure the safety of all patrons of our weddings and group events from start to finish.

• The assembly of food and beverages are carried out in accordance with the hotel´s prevention and hygiene protocols, at all times.
• The room or location must be cleaned and disinfected before and after each event. 
• Adequate assemblies are established to guarantee the distance of the guests.

English Barrister Andrew Lomas Joins EPAM in Moscow

Andrew Lomas, a barrister and member of London's One Essex Court chambers, has joined the International Arbitration and Litigation Practice of Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners as Co-Head of International Arbitration and Litigation.

According to EPAM, Lomas, who will be based in Moscow, "brings extensive international arbitration expertise – he has represented and advised clients in a wide range of arbitral claims under a diverse array of rules, including those of the London International Arbitration Court, London Association of Maritime Arbitrators, International Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong International Arbitration Center, International Commercial Arbitration Court, as well as according to the rules of the ICAC at the RF CCI. He is on the recommended list of arbitrators of the Russian Arbitration Center."

In addition, EPAM reports, Lomas "is also an experienced litigator - he regularly appears in the English High Court and the patent offices of Great Britain and the EU (UKIPO, EUIPO), and has significant appellate experience."

Andrew completed his GDL and BPTC at City University London, and he has a doctorate from Oxford University and a bachelor's degree from Durham University. He joined One Essex Partners in 2014.

In an interview with ET, Kozlov, who is also chairman of Moscow City Tourism Committee said that this agreement is expected to boost tourist numbers from India by at least 30%.

Additionally, Russian federal officials are developing a project to provide virtual cards for Indian travellers before they depart from India. Kozlov explained, "The issue of non-cash payments for travellers in Russia is a key point for our federal government. My federal partners are working on a project to enable virtual cards for Indian travellers while they are in India before coming to Russia."

He added that travellers might be able to obtain virtual cards from an Indian bank before leaving for Russia, and upon arrival at their hotel, they would receive a physical card from a Russian banking partner. The virtual card system is expected to be operational by the end of this year.

Moscow has become one of the top destinations for tourists in 2023, with 2.3 million visitors last year. The number of travellers from India alone exceeded 60,000, representing a 25% increase compared to the previous year.

Kozlov said that Indians are among the top foreign tourists that Moscow aims to attract. To support this growth, the city is focusing on developing event tourism, as outlined in the Moscow Tourism Development Program until 2030. Experts estimate that event tourism will attract approximately 7.3 million guests to Moscow, with many expected to be from India.

Currently, the top tourist markets for Moscow are India, China, Turkey, and the UAE, with Indians being among the top five travellers using the e-visa to visit the city.
