Karnivool reschedule The Regeneration tour to early 2023
Australian prog rockers Karnivool reschedule Europe and UK tour dates for second time
Australian prog rockers Karnivool have once again rescheduled their European The Regeneration Tour to January and February 2023. it's the second time the Perth quintet have moved the dates of their Regeneration tour, from 2021 to May 2022 , and now from May to early next year.
“Having already rescheduled our European shows once, we have tried every which way to make them happen this year, but we are in the unavoidable position where we must move The Regeneration Tour - again," the band state. "We could put out some lame excuse but that would be a disservice to all of you and to everyone who has tried so hard to make it happen.
"So here is the reality for a band from Perth, Western Australia: touring internationally is a risky business especially for artists who don’t want to compromise their show and we have always accepted that, but for us right now a significant financial blow - on top the pummelling we took in the last two years - would be, frankly, the end of the band.
"Between the extra costs around touring in a covid-safe manner or having to cancel shows overseas at extremely short notice, insurance for covid being unavailable and now large currency fluctuations due to the awful conflict in Europe, well, the numbers are stacked up against the tour – and we haven’t even done the sums on the extra fuel costs yet. When you travel from Australia to Europe, every show has to happen, it makes no sense otherwise. A week of sitting on a tour bus not being able to do anything when you have flown halfway around the world is a sobering prospect, as is touring but not being able to meet your friends, fans and family without putting the rest of the tour in jeopardy.
"Not being able to tour properly for over two years and having to move the AU Monolith shows to later this year means we have no fiscal safety net should we have to, say, cancel shows mid-tour. It’s a miserable situation for every touring artist. We are seeing tour after tour drop shows or be cancelled because of sickness, which if that happened to us would create a financial hit which we just could not take 14,000km from home."
You can view the new tour dates below. Sadly the band's show in Malmo could not be rescheduled.
"To compound the situation, we are unable to make the show in Malmö happen on this third re-routing," the band add. "Full refunds will be available to our fans there and to anyone who cannot make the rescheduled dates. Otherwise, all tickets remain valid."

Karnivool and The Ocean at Backstage, München
by Grace Hayhurst · Published January 31, 2023 · Updated January 31, 2023
I couldn’t wait for what was about to unfold…
I’m back based in Germany for a little bit and decided to hop down to Munich on a whim to catch this tour before it slipped through my fingers as the Berlin show was sold out.
I’ve come to respect both of these bands more and more in recent years, watching The Ocean grow in popularity with the release of Phanerozoic II, and delving deeper into Karnivool’s back catalog – admiring this Australian band from the other side of the world. To say both of these bands have had a huge influence on me is an understatement, so seeing this tour announced with the two of them combined blew my puny mind – particularly as it had been 8 years since Karnivool toured any part of Europe, and I’d never had the pleasure of seeing them live before. This was a tour lineup that I couldn’t miss…
Now it’s my first time catching a gig in München, and I have to give a cheeky shoutout to the layout of the venue. There’s a huge amount of tiered standing space surrounding a central pit area to allow for vertically challenged individuals to have a good chance of seeing, rather than just having the entire venue’s standing space be completely flat. More venues should take note of this!
First up were The Ocean, and they didn’t mess around. They played an assortment of highlights from 2 of their most acclaimed albums, ‘Phanerozoic II’ and ‘Pelagial’. If you wanted a ‘best-of’ soundtrack from this band to kick-start your addiction into their discography, tonight’s setlist would have been it.
It was also great to finally hear the band live with Loïc Rossetti (vocals) after the Phanerozoic II release as the last time I got to see The Ocean was at the Prognosis festival in April 2022 where the band had to put on an instrumental set. Loïc was sadly out of action due to a skiing accident that resulted in both of his legs being broken. He’d clearly recovered well for this tour, moving all over the place and playing with the audience bringing an eerie yet energetic presence to the stage.
It was a little hard to get snaps this evening, but I tried.
Robin Staps (guitars) also went through a near-death incident last month almost drowning on a beach in Puerto Rico. I think we can all be glad that he was eventually saved before suffering a fatal death, but there’s definitely some irony there almost drowning in ‘The Ocean’… Not to trivialise the incident. You can read more about it here in this Google Doc that Robin shared, but I warn you that it is rather distressing.
Starting with ‘Triassic’ before running through ‘Miocene | Pliocene’, ‘Mesopelagic: Into The Uncanny’, ‘Bathyalpelagic I: Impasses’, ‘Pleistocne’, and ‘Holocene’ – they surely chose tracks on purpose from their discography that are a bit ‘mouthy’ to write down in an article! I’m very glad they finished with ‘Jurassic | Cretaceous’ though, as that is probably my favourite single track that came out back in 2020 – so finally seeing it with a full band ensemble is a nice bit of bucket list checked off.
Despite any previous medical troubles, The Ocean held back no punches tonight as they slaughtered the room with their heavy riffs – even if their discography was less familiar to the crowd than Karnivool’s.
It’s nothing short of a miracle that The Ocean were able to play their set tonight – and I’m incredibly thankful that they were able to. And, with a new single out recently, ‘Preboreal’, maybe we’re in store for another full album sooner than we thought… Now, onto Karnivool.
Over the last decade, this band has somehow managed to gradually increase their fanbase – despite releasing an incredibly small amount of music. They released one song in 2021, ‘All It Takes’, which has been IT since their 2013 album ‘Asymmetry’. Like every other fan of this band, I think we can all hope that there’s more music on the way – but first things first, it’s European tour time. A tour that has been postponed twice due to covid related issues, so the band still having money left in the bank, pulling off a month-long tour on the other side of the world, is nothing short of a miracle.
The stage illuminated in red, Karnivool were ready to begin
Starting off with ‘C.O.T.E’ from ‘Themata’, and then the new 2021 single, tonights set put a spotlight on possibly their most well-known album ‘Sound Awake’. It’s the album of theirs that I’m the most familiar with, so I took great pleasure in finally witnessing these songs being performed live. And the München crowd knew how to have a good time with it.
Yes yes, of course, I got into the mosh pit – angrily shoving strangers around to the deep pulsing bass tones of Jon Stockman rumbling through the venue. Running straight through ‘Goliath’, ‘Simple Boy’, ‘Umbra’, ‘All I Know’, and ‘Deadman’ one after the other had my whole body tingling. and the energy of the crowd bounced off of the energy of the music – chanting back every lyric, grooving along. It was a sea of euphoric faces.
And from what my ever-improving, but still somewhat limited German skills gave me, it seemed like the overall vibe of the crowd was overwhelmingly positive at these setlist choices. One man told his friend that the band were playing “all of his favourites”, which must have been a wonderful feeling given the 10-year break since Karnivool last played München.
Finishing the main set with ‘Themata’ and ‘Change’, I stood in awe at the tightness of the mix, and of the performance. Everyone that contributed to putting on this show were clearly experts in their fields, particularly in the lighting department. Never too overwhelming, but incredibly stimulating none the same, keeping the energy flowing through the whole venue through the artistic flashbangs.
Their whole performance blew my mind.
The first encore track, ‘Alpha Omega’ off of ‘Aymmetry’, I once again just had to stand back and appreciate Ian Kenny as his vocal control on this number was off the scale. Particularly through the mellow sections what can only be described as a beautiful noise was emanating from his mouth, captivating the whole crowd at the edge of their metaphorical seats. And finally, ending with possibly their most well-known track ‘New Day’, Ian didn’t even have to sing anymore. It’s truly a surreal experience being enveloped in a cluster of humans all shouting and screaming the exact same words in unison with the thundering backing of the instrumentals still pounding through your ears.
That night in München, fans showed Karnivool that they have been deeply missed. And we can all only hope that this spurt of activity post covid means that more music on the way. Karnivool must continue – there is no other way forward.

LIVE REVIEW: Karnivool @ O2 Forum Kentish Town, London
You’d think they teach people to fend off deadly spiders and venomous snakes with 11/8 polyrhythms and twelve-minute epics, based on the number of truly excellent progressive metal bands from Australia. One of their foremost representatives are KARNIVOOL , a band which embodies the motto “quality over quantity” – their cult stature only growing over time, despite them only releasing three studio albums in over twenty years. A much-anticipated European tour finally saw them return to UK soil for the first time in eight years, culminating in their biggest UK headline show to date at a sold-out O2 Forum Kentish Town in London.
Tasked with opening proceedings for the evening are illustrious post-metal collective THE OCEAN . Curtain-raiser Triassic sets the tone for their blend of tension-building atmospherics and dramatically combusting sludgy riffs, with the thick guitars coming in merciless waves as the sextet sways in unison to the crushing tide. They are simultaneously bathed in brilliant rays of light and deep shadows, creating the sense of a diver trying to navigate the dark depths of the aquatic. The set’s focus clearly lies on showcasing material from their excellent 2020 offering Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic / Cenozoic , but they still find time for two cuts off Pelagial that are sure to pique the interest of any MASTODON fans in the building.
Everything in THE OCEAN ’s show is meticulously thought about, as evidenced by the rhythmically pulsating blasts of red light which accompany Pleistocene . It is a piece that masterfully combines furious black metal with a funereal dirge, and frontman Loïc Rossetti picks its violin-fuelled crescendo to surf the wave of arms beneath him. The mesmeric synthpop of Holocene even sees a tactical shake-up in positions, as drummer Paul Seidel takes to the front for lead vocals, while keyboardist Peter Voigtmann expertly slots in behind the kit. The monstrous groove of hefty thirteen-minute opus Jurassic O| Cretaceous closes an engulfing support set which hits all the marks for what THE OCEAN stand for in 2023, as one of the more inventive bands in the post-metal oeuvre.
Rating: 8/10
It says something about a band when they haven’t released an album in ten years and can still fill out a 2,300 capacity venue. When they do it whilst playing ethereal alt-prog metal, that is the sign of something really special. The excitement for KARNIVOOL is at fever pitch as the Aussies rev up their instruments’ engines in the build-up of C.O.T.E , and crowd and song erupt in unison. The resulting wall of sound is utterly brilliant as dense guitars punch you in the stomach, while elaborate drums keep making you double-check that it is Steve Judd and not multi-limbed Goro behind the kit, as he continuously strikes a perfect balance between flashy and tasteful. From the opening track of their debut album, we are fast-forwarded some twenty years with All It Takes – the quintet’s sole piece of new material since 2013’s LP Asymmetry . That is received with comparable enthusiasm, and the stomping triplet-feel drums give birth to a mass of jumping bodies in the centre of the Forum .
Then, KARNIVOOL start bringing out the dishes that constitute the main course. While all-too familiar reasons for postponements mean that the tour slogan A Decade Of Sound Awake is now several years off the mark, the intention to celebrate their acclaimed second album is still fully there. The angular beats of Goliath usher in a string of songs that add up to not quite a full album play-through of 2010’s Sound Awake , but near-enough, and thus an extra level of euphoria is found within the crowd. Anthems like Simple Boy and Umbra unleash waves of swaying bodies that are akin to what would happen if you slowed a PENDULUM moshpit down to a sensual 7/4 groove. Singer Ian Kenny , backed by a thousand throats singing along to every word, is in his element, channelling the hypnotic rhythms created by his instrumentalist colleagues with closed eyes and endearing dancing. This is soulful gospel-prog in all its glory, and the congregation is fully swept in.
The cathartic New Day heralds the end of what feels like an equally cathartic gig, for both fans and artist. Departing with a promise to not take quite as long until they see the UK crowds again, KARNIVOOL leave us yearning for what their new day will bring, but even more so grateful for what they gave us this evening.
Rating: 10/10

Karnivool // The Ocean Collective // Live Review // The O2 Academy // Bristol
It’s another cold and wet night in Bristol and tonight marks the end of another working week for many stood in a long and winding queue to catch two mega prog metal bands live; Karnivool with support from The Ocean .
The queue diminished quickly as fans head straight for the merch stall in the O2 foyer to grab their latest tour t-shirt, while others made a beeline for the bar or to get a front-row spot near the stage.
The stage was lit with misty blue smoke and as members of The Ocean walked out to grab their instruments, the tune-up was completed in the dark to set the atmosphere.
This mighty German 6-piece, also known as ‘ The Ocean Collective’ , has only been around since their formation in 2000, but in that time they’ve managed to be consistent in producing a total of 9 studio albums to date. That’s a mammoth amount of tracks they have under their belt; not forgetting the EPs they’ve also released in that time and the fast turnover of 40 band members who’ve joined and left the band leaving the current line-up.
Heading straight into their first track of the night, the stage was back-lit with two large spotlights that warmed the stage intermittently along with the sporadic flashes of several strobe lights that pumped along with the beat.
Vocalist Lois Rossetti all dressed in black doubled over to let out some almighty howls as the bass from the drums hurled out such force, you could feel it beneath your feet. Guitarist David Ramis-Ahfeldt thanked the crowd for coming after ‘All It Takes’ lasted as long as a 12” record. The sound they produced varied in time signatures but was dark and dastardly time after time. Rossetti had the most intense guttural hollers you could imagine, backed up by co-founder Robin Staps and Ramis Ahfeldt on guitar. Drums provided by Paul Seidel were equally insane.
But the crowd, which had now completely filled every nook and cranny in the venue, just stood mesmerised as they soaked up each note that flowed over them like a tidal wave with a sea of nodding heads.
Midway through the set, there was a glimpse of a regular beat on the drums; but that was short-lived as the tone of every instrument played on stage went into complete and utter chaos as the track became more dark and deadly. Extraordinarily experimental but fucking nuts. There’s nothing like that feeling when you hear something so out of this world, that it takes your breath away; a sound that you can completely lose yourself in.
A much slower track followed as the lights turned soft to bring the crowd back down to earth, but the vibe is still sinister. If you’d not seen them play before, you’d need to be prepared for anything to happen. The tone and feel of their music can be turned upside down in a heartbeat.
As the lights work their way through the primary colours the erratic beats commence again as strobe lights light the crowd in time to the bass. With a few keys from Peter Voigtmann on his Moog thrown in, an alternating beat is formed with Rossetti’s more subtle vocals which had the crowd remaining deadly still. But as the track gains momentum, so do the strobes. Let’s hope those who suffer from Epilepsy were warned!
The last track of their set saw Rossetti pass his mic into the front row where the lucky punter who grabbed it was surrounded by an energetic crowd who’d formed a pit, waving their arms in the air and spurring him on.
By 9pm their set was over and Rossetti thanked their fans for coming along, and that Karnivool would put on a great show for them and expect a good time.
Once The Ocean had finished, the stage doors were open as the roadies offloaded their gear. The venue felt so quiet after that 50 minute set, leaving your mind wondering what the hell it had just experienced. A phenomenal set without a doubt.
40 minutes passed as the crowd got another beer and made their way back down near the stage. You could start to see people looking at their watches in confusion and getting twitchy.
At 9.50pm the wait was over as this Perth-based band with a huge following graced the stage. There was already a colourfully lit stage as Karnivool launched into ‘C.O.T.E.’ taken from their successful album ‘Themata’ released in 2005, and a strong start for the band.
‘All it Takes’ is the band’s latest track, released in 2021 and the next track on their set for the night. A much heavier sound to this one with some twisted guitar riffs that accompany the thundering and repetitive drums perfectly.
Ian Kenny on vocals who was the founding member of Karnivool took the opportunity to greet the crowd by telling them how ‘muther-fucking beautiful’ they all were tonight and how pleased he was to be back in Bristol.
Kenny remained very interactive with the crowd and doting fans all through the night, spending much of his time dancing on stage or opening up his arms and his heart to all watching.
‘Shutterspeed’ followed and lifted the tempo with its ludicrously catchy guitar riff courtesy of Drew Goddard on guitar, mimicked by Jon Stockman on bass and the drums played by the insanely talented Steve Judd . An enticing track is also taken from their album ‘Themata’ .
Although the Karnivool are categorised as prog-metal, they portray a contrast in comparison to that of The Ocean , with harmonious vocals and a brighter sound. The crowd were often seen swaying to the music or slowly nodding their heads as far back as the bar. Again, these Australian ‘God’s had a large fan base who shouted out every lyric played, instantaneously recognising tracks after the strum of a guitar chord.
Every wall in the venue was getting pummelled by the sound of the bass drum as it reverberated around the room. Disappointingly, there were many times that the band’s sound was drowned as a consequence made by its sheer volume, making it hard to distinguish what was being played. There were moments when it was overwhelming. But it didn’t spoil the night for the fans who knew every track played, but for someone who’s not witnessed this incredible band live or heard any of their tracks before, it was a real pity. This is in no way any fault of the band, of course, just a case of the live mix not being tweaked to perfection or the acoustic set-up at the venue.
A large part of the set was taken from the band’s second album ‘Sound Awake’ with powerful tracks such as ‘Goliath’ to the more mellow sounds of ‘Umbra’ . No matter what track was being played, each was filled with passion, heavily instrumental backed with the heartbeat of the bass drum. The harmonies provided by Goddard and Hasking on guitar emitted a beautifully rich sound along with the pulsating toms of the drums on ‘Deadman’ ; a gargantuan 12-minute long masterpiece and a refreshing change to hear.
The change in lights seemed to change the mood of each track. Red lights with an intricate and toppy guitar riff to start and thundering bass lines set the scene for ‘Themata’ , as their set was nearing the end. The crowd had started to get a little vibrant as security started to line the barriers; but the feeling was that of emotion, not malice.
‘Change’ taken from the album ‘Sound Awake’ was the final track on the set. The sound of maracas and bongos played softly in the background as the deep strum of guitar was played on the first beat of every bar leading the listener to the echoes of Kenny’s vocals. This was the most experimental track so far of the night and another belter lasting 10 minutes long.
A bit of an interlude now once Kenny had grabbed his acoustic guitar and treated fans to a short tune whilst the rest of the band stood back and caught their breath. Was it time for the encore? It’s now 10.45 pm and a few people had started to leave to get at the front of the queue to pay for their parking ticket or to see what’s left of the merchandise before they head home for the weekend.
Only a couple of minutes passed whilst the band vacated the stage and they were back on to knock out their final tracks of the night. But that was only after Kenny had again thanked the crowd for their patience after tours were cancelled and they had waited some time for Karnivool to come back to Bristol.
‘Alpha Omega’ taken from their last album ‘Asymmetry’ and the only one played during their set, took the tone down a notch for the penultimate track of the night. The lights were dimmed as their sound became stripped down, giving Kenny’s vocals time to shine. And of course, what would the night be without seeing an array of mobile phones being held in the air to capture it all.
The venue is back to being lit dimly in blue as their final momentous track of the night ‘New Day’ is played. It didn’t take much for Kenny to encourage the crowd to join in whilst others at the back of the venue by the bar and back door sang fervently to each other with their arms on the air. There’s a bit of stage diving action going on and the mosh pit starts to pick up speed as the crowd use every possible moment left to lose themselves in the music.
“Til next time my friends. Thank you, Bristol, ” shouted Kenny as the set drew to a close.
It had been one crazy night. The venue was packed and the atmosphere was deeply content. No nonsense and lots of smiling faces.
For those who’ve not witnessed these fiercely talented Australian musicians live, get yourself along to one of their shows. In the meantime, get your eardrums around their discography. It’s mind-blowingly impressive.

Karnivool Announce The Road To Unify Tour
- November 1, 2018
Karnivool are happy to announce an intimate run of shows in the lead up to Unify Gathering, to help dust off the guitars, make sure all the pedals are working, and to kick out the jams as only Karnivool can!
It’s been a murky few years in the world of Karnivool, with the band hunkered down with various projects whilst still chipping away at album #4. They’d done and deleted recording sessions, they haven’t played for almost 18 months (the longest break in the band’s history) and they haven’t produced much in the way of news for some time – up until they were announced as one of the headliners for Unify Gathering in regional Victoria in January 2019.
The fog is about to lift however and, as always, it will lift first in their home state of WA. There might even be some new tunes to peruse, as well as some old gems for fans to enjoy.
It’s been a while, but man – it’s going to be good to be back!

Trinity Gardens Tour
Three acres nestled in the santa barbara foothills, by george yatchisin | may 16, 2024.
The Santa Barbara Culinary Experience (SBCE) doesn’t just feature the region’s stars — it also hopes to shine a light on lesser-known people and projects. Take Trinity Gardens, three acres nestled in the Santa Barbara Foothills near the intersection of La Cumbre and Foothill roads. The land — provided by Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church — allows not only for gardens that grow produce for local food banks, nonprofits, and the Organic Soup Kitchen, but also 23 individual plots rented independently. In addition, Dewayne Nash, chair and garden manager, says, “We also provide gardening and food education for all ages to raise awareness about sustainable and healthy growing and eating practices.”
The SBCE tour of Trinity, capped at an intimate 15 people, will roam the property, learning about its 12-year history while perusing plantings from pumpkin patches to a banana grove. Other stops on the tour will visit the six hens in their chicken coop, explain the processes behind the compost area and large vermicompost box, and check out the greenhouse where each vegetable grown in the garden gets started from seed.
Lunch, made from the bounty of the Gardens and served with locally baked bread, will be prepared by the Organic Soup Kitchen. “We usually serve one of their delicious and nutritious soups at our events,” Nash said. “All their soups are flavorful and are stocked with nutrition.” The soup of the day will be so fresh they can’t even announce what it will be yet.
Given much of Trinity Gardens’ education focus is on children’s programs, they hope tour-takers bring the whole family. After all, it’s never too early to learn the ways of the land and how growing your own produce is both fun and healthy.
Even better, each participant in the tour will be able to harvest some produce from the communal garden area themselves to take home.

Danny Ocean Announces 2024 “Reflexa” Tour
One Of Latin Music’s Most Thought-Provoking And Fast-Rising Young Artists Will Bring His Innovative ‘Pop of the Future’ Sound To The Live Stage During His Most Extensive North American Tour
Tickets available via presales starting tuesday, may 14; general onsale begins on, friday, may 17 at 10am local time at livenation.com.
Danny Ocean , acclaimed for his role as a musical innovator and provocateur within Latin music, is set to embark on his highly anticipated North American “Reflexa Tour” – presented by Toyota and produced by Live Nation. The tour kicks off on September 13 at the Moore Theater in Seattle, with stops planned in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, Houston, and many more major cities.
With a career already boasting multi-platinum hits that have collected nearly TEN BILLION streams and a highly praised just released new album, Danny Ocean is poised to make his biggest mark yet on the North American live music scene with a trek that reflects both his artistic evolution and the growing fan demand for his ‘high-energy performances.’ With his fanbase expanding rapidly, this tour marks a significant milestone as Danny takes the stage in larger venues and ventures into nine new markets, for his most extensive tour across the United States and Canada.
“Reflexa” (‘Reflections’) is a profound exploration of introspective themes on a journey of self-discovery, marking a pivotal moment in Ocean’s career. The album has already garnered significant acclaim from fans and critics alike as “ A Breath of Fresh Air…with a sound of his own…creating the ‘pop of the future” (Rolling Stone). As further testament to his new music’s reception, advance singles AMOR, Cero Condiciones and the May 2 nd full album release all dominated Billboard’s “Favorite New Latin Music Release” poll -winning the weekly reader votes by wide margins.
“Wow Danny Ocean, you have really grown. The Venezuelan star delivered a high-energy performance that was unexpected in its mishmash of styles… its edginess and its self-affirming lyrics…. Danny Ocean’s music doesn’t sound like anything out there right now… Reflexa is Danny’s most personal album yet, but it’s also his most sonically experimental… He’s real, raw, and overly honest about life, and a fierce protector of the art he puts out in the world” – Billboard
“After three years of absence, Danny Ocean returned strongly to the Pal Norte stage to conquer a new audience, filling the venue with excitement and energy. The night began with his iconic song ‘Mónaco,’ unleashing euphoria among those present and marking the start of an unforgettable evening. The set concluded with his worldwide hit ‘Me Rehúso,’ leaving the audience wanting more. Danny Ocean excitedly announced that new shows and new music are [arriving], ensuring a bright future.” – Mitoteros Show

About Danny Ocean
Danny Ocean was born in Caracas, Venezuela, but he spent the first years of his life in the Caribbean and Namibia due to the needs of his parents’ careers. His return to Caracas sparked his interest in music, especially electronic music and hip-hop beats. After moving to Miami, he discovered his voice and wrote the hit song “Me Rehúso,” which became a global viral hit and the Latin song with the most weeks on Spotify’s Top 50 Global chart. It has now garnered over 1.6 billion streams on Spotify, and 1.8 billion views on YouTube. As a result of the song’s success, Danny signed with Atlantic Records and released additional popular songs like “Dembow” and “Vuelve .” These tracks and more personal songs formed his first studio album, 54+1. Ocean has also collaborated with several artists and has been the composer of hits such as “Ay Dios Mío” by Karol G and “Raptame” by Reik. Before the release of his second album, Danny Ocean reflected on his identity and creative direction and released @dannocean by Danny Ocean, which features reggaeton songs such as “Apartamento” and “Fuera del Mercado,” which received multiple Platinum certifications. From there. Danny continued to build his visibility through extensive touring of Latin America, both with his own critically praised concerts and appearances in Major festivals such as Lollapalooza. Simultaneously Danny continued to have a strong voice as a social advocate, and has become a strong supporter of The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR). Now, Danny Ocean takes another major career step forward with the introspective & musically innovative “ Reflexa” album and global tour.

Frank Ocean fans have been waiting quite a long time to hear something new from the R&B powerhouse. The singer-songwriter hasn’t released a song in years, and it’s been well over half a decade since his last album(s) dropped. Despite his relative quiet, the Grammy winner is still rising on the Billboard charts.
This week, Ocean hits a new career high point on one ranking in the U.S. His full-length Blonde lifts to a new peak of No. 33 on the Top Streaming Albums chart– Billboard’s ranking of the most-streamed projects in the country.
Blonde is up from No. 39 on the Top Streaming Albums chart this week. It’s now spent 14 weeks on the tally, and even though it’s been out for many years, it’s performing better on streaming platforms than it has in quite some time.
Ocean’s Blonde isn’t only climbing on the Top Streaming Albums chart this time around, though its step forward on that list is perhaps the most impressive. The set appears on four Billboard tallies, and it’s up on all of them.
On the Billboard 200, the all-genre ranking of the most-consumed albums in America, Blonde jumps back into the uppermost quarter of the roster. Ocean’s bestseller leaps from No. 51 to No. 43 on the tally. According to Luminate, the set moved 17,863 equivalent units, which is up more than 4% from last period.

Blonde is also on the rise on two genre-specific charts. Ocean’s latest full-length improves to No. 13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums tally and No. 4 on the Top R&B Albums list.
Channel Orange , the album that propelled Ocean from underground favorite to superstar, is also present on a number of charts, but its performance doesn’t mirror that of Blonde . The early set climbs on the Billboard 200, lifting to No. 73 thanks to a 3.5% increase in consumption.
While it may be soaring on that list, Channel Orange is not a grower on every Billboard tally it appears on. The studio LP is steady at No. 31 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and it actually falls one space on the Top R&B Albums roster, declining to No. 9.
