Ghost Brings US Tour to Emphatic End in LA: Pictures, Set List

Ghost closed out their Re-Imperator tour with a rousing performance at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles last night (Sept. 12).

The concert was the second of two back-to-back sold out LA shows for the Swedish heavy metal giants.

The first song of the night was "Kaisarion," the epic track from Ghost’s 2022 album Impera . Other early highlights included a soaring rendition of “Spillways” and the menacing "Cirice.”

Later, singer Tobias Forge – who was a commanding presence all night as his alter-ego, Cardinal Copia – appeared at a grand piano to perform a haunting rendition of Roky Erickson ’s "If You Have Ghosts."

As to be expected, “Mary on a Cross,” the hugely successful 2019 track that unexpectedly went viral on Tik Tok, garnered some of the night’s loudest cheers.

See the full set list from Ghost’s tour-closing performance below.

Ghost's Show Boasted Incredible Visuals

As fans of Ghost know, the music is just one element of the band's appeal. Stage design, pyrotechnics, theatrics and outfit changes are all part of what makes Ghost such an enthralling live act, and each of these ingredients were on full display during the tour-end show.

On the night, Forge made no less than eight costume changes, including several colorful and dazzling displays. Meanwhile, massive stained glass windows hung behind the stage, exuding an imposing, gothic quality.

At various points in the concert, a troupe of skeleton dancers writhed provocatively around Forge. There was also plenty of pyro, with flamethrowers, fireworks and explosions throughout the set.

See some of the impressive visuals from Ghost’s performance in our gallery below.

Ghost Kick Off Summer US Tour with Amon Amarth: Photos + Setlists

The post Ghost Kick Off Summer US Tour with Amon Amarth: Photos + Setlists appeared first on Consequence .

Ghost have hit the road for a summer US tour , bringing fellow Swedes Amon Amarth along for the ride. The “Re-Imperator” officially kicked off with a packed show Wednesday night (August 2nd) at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California.

Supporting their latest release, The Great Heathen Army , Amon Amarth got the ball rolling with a nine-song setlist that had the metalheads in the already full venue singing along. The band kicked off the set with “Raven’s Flight,” complete with a viking helmet drum riser, and two massive swordsman statues on either side of the stage. “Put Your Back into the Oar” was easily the crowd favorite of the set, as made obvious by the fans rowing along to the song. By the time the band wrapped up their brief set with “Twilight of the Thunder Guard,” the entire venue was primed for the headliners.

With “Imperium” blasting over the PA as the curtain dropped, Ghost hit the stage with “Kaisarion” from their latest album, IMPERA . Led by the one and only Papa Emeritus IV (aka Tobias Forge), the band tore through a 19-song setlist. Backed by his Nameless Ghouls, Papa provided showmanship throughout the set, and early highlights included “Rats” and “From the Pinnacle to the Pit.” From there, the band played “Absolution,” followed by “Ritual” and “Call Me Little Sunshine.”

Although the stained glass cathedral backdrop for the band’s set remained constant, Papa Emeritus did go through a number of costume changes. After closing their main set with “Respite on the Spitalfields,” Ghost returned to the stage for a three-song encore, wrapping-up the evening with the anthemic “Square Hammer.”

Ghost has announced details of its summer 2023 American tour, dubbed “Re-Imperatour USA.”

The band is set to kick off the new run of dates in Concord, CA, on August 2, touring across the country until September 11, when it will wrap things up with a huge show at LA’s Kia Forum. It will be joined on the dates by special guest Amon Amarth.

Tickets for the 27-date tour will be available through Citi cardmembers’ and artists’ pre-sales from tomorrow (February 14). Following that, tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday (17) at 10am local time. For more details and to purchase, visit Ticketmaster .

The “Re-Imperatour USA” tour news follows Ghost holding its first-ever pop-up event at LA’s Whisky A Go Go venue earlier this month. “Metal Myths Presents: Ghost – Reverence & Resurrection” paid tribute to the classic 1969 era of Ghost, a band that didn’t actually form until almost four decades later.

The exhibit featured artifacts that had never been publicly displayed before, including the band’s 1960 costumes and ghoul masks, rare magazine covers, and more from a treasure trove of ephemera.

Meanwhile, Ghost also recently shared a new version of its track “Spillways,” featuring guest vocals from Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott. The new take on the song featured in Chapter 15 of Ghost’s long-running series of webisodes, with the installment in question documenting a karaoke session that goes awry in a spectacular and supernatural fashion.

Ghost Announces Re-Imperatour U.S.A. 2023

Facebook icon

Citi and Artist Presales Begin Tuesday, February 14 th

Tickets on sale to general public friday, february 17th at 10am local on  ticketmaster.com, for approved artist images and hi-res tour art, please download  here ..

Ghost has revealed details of its upcoming RE-IMPERATOUR U.S.A. 2023 summer tour with special guest Amon Amarth. Produced by Live Nation and FPC Live, the 27-date tour kicks off on Wednesday, August 2nd in Concord, CA at Concord Pavilion, with stops in Salt Lake City, Chicago, Cincinnati, Austin and more before wrapping up with the band’s Monday, September 11th return to the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Ghost continues to elevate and reaffirm its status as one of the world’s most esteemed and celebrated creative forces. Accumulating well over a billion streams, the GRAMMY-winning Swedish theatrical rock band continues to bring the  “euphoric spectacle”  (ROLLING STONE) of its live shows to ever-growing and increasingly impassioned crowds, headlining arena tours including sold out shows from The Forum in Los Angeles and Barclays Center in New York to London’s O2 Arena and Stockholm’s Avicii Arena. In March 2022, THE LOS ANGELES TIMES reported in a Calendar cover story that Ghost had  “conquered metal and the charts”  when its fifth album  IMPERA  debuted at #1 in a sweep of the U.S. album charts, entering the BILLBOARD 200 at #2 and bowing at #1 in the band’s native Sweden as well as Germany and Finland, while cracking the top 5 in the UK (#2), Netherlands (#2), Belgium (#2), Canada (#3), Australia (#3), France (#5), Ireland (#5), and more. Produced by Klas Åhlund and mixed by Andy Wallace — and featuring “Spillways”—hailed as a  “sweetly constructed rock tune”  by THE NEW YORK TIMES, the GRAMMY-nominated “Call Me Little Sunshine,” and Active Rock #1 radio single “Hunter’s Moon” —  IMPERA  finds Ghost transported centuries forward from the Black Plague era of its previous album, 2018 Best Rock Album GRAMMY nominee  Prequelle —or as ROLLING STONE put it,  “Ghost predicted the pandemic, Now the metal band is foretelling the fall of empires.” The result is the most ambitious and lyrically incisive entry in the Ghost canon: Over the course of  IMPERA’ s 12-song cycle, empires rise and fall, would-be messiahs ply their hype (financial and spiritual alike), prophecies are foretold as the skies fill with celestial bodies divine and man-made… All in all, the most current and topical Ghost subject matter to date is set against a hypnotic and darkly colorful melodic backdrop making  IMPERA  a listen like no other — yet unmistakably, quintessentially Ghost.

TICKETS:  Tickets will be available starting with a Citi cardmember presale (details below) and Artist presale on Tuesday, February 14th. Additional presales will be available throughout the week before the general on sale starting Friday, February 17th at 10am local time on  Ticketmaster.com .

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, February 14th at 11am ET until Thursday, February 16th at 10pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program. GHOST released an "extended" box-set edition of the band's latest album, "Impera" , on July 28.

GHOST 's fifth album, "Impera" sold 70,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week of release to land at position No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. It marked the third top 10 album — and fifth top 40-charting set — for the Swedish act.

This past May, GHOST released "Phantomime" , a five-song EP which sees the Swedish occult rockers offering takes on IRON MAIDEN 's "Phantom Of The Opera" , GENESIS 's "Jesus He Knows Me" , TELEVISION 's "See No Evil" , THE STRANGLERS ' "Hanging Around" and Tina Turner 's "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)" .

GHOST is no stranger to covers, having previously tackled material originally written and recorded by THE BEATLES ("Here Comes The Sun"),  ABBA ("I'm A Marionette"),  DEPECHE MODE ("Waiting For The Night"),  Roky Erickson ("If You Have Ghosts"),  METALLICA ("Enter Sandman"),  PET SHOP BOYS ("It's A Sin") and EURYTHMICS ("Missionary Man"), among others.

Ghost Return to 1969 With Retro-Style New Song ‘The Future Is a Foreign Land’

"An all-singing, all-dancing front row seat at the most joyous show in heavy metal." Ghost's first movie Rite Here Rite Now is an instant classic

From its retina-singeing visuals to its stunning camerawork and heartfelt emotional punches, rite here rite now is a triumph.

If there is a message at the blackened (but glitter-covered) heart of Ghost 's first ever full-length film, it's the importance of living in the moment, of refusing to be too wrapped up in those things we cannot control and seizing the chance to enjoy the things that we can. It's about what's right here, right now - geddit?! There may well be no better band to ram home such an ethos, and with Rite Here Rite Now , Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge and director Alex Ross Perry have crafted us an all-singing, all-dancing front row seat at the most joyous show in heavy metal.

Part concert movie, part fictional dramedy (though, really, it's at least 90% of the former), Rite Here Rite Now drops us straight into the action at Ghost's most recent shows at the Forum in Inglewood, California in September of last year, where the entirety of the film's live footage was captured. Shot as one, continuous gig (and, truthfully, you'd have to be a real pedant and a spoilsport to spot where one show is spliced to another), some absolutely stunning camerawork sees us granted a dizzying array of viewpoints, from above the impressive, chapel-esque stage set to ducking and diving around our Nameless Ghouls to rising right under Papa Emeritus' gyrating crotch. It creates a visual dynamic that's both intimate and epic, showing off Ghost's spectacular show while capturing the little motifs and flexes that make them such an endearingly fun force of nature on stage.

Ghost's adoring audience, too, are granted plenty of airtime; from the hundreds of painted-up nuns gleefully belting back every lyric to the dozens of Papa plushies being waved around, to shots of corpsepaint being smudged by free-flowing tears, concert footage director Jim Parsons has done a wonderful job of highlighting the kind of wholesome fanaticism that has helped propel Ghost to becoming one of the biggest success stories of 21st century metal.

The thin-as-cobweb plot underpinning the concert is essentially an extended version of Ghost's fabulously silly video skits, though there are some tantalising pointers to the future of the band and its beloved cast of eccentric characters . Ultimately, though, the real hook here is the gig, and what a gig it is: fire, confetti, smoke, dazzling light shows, spooky skeleton dancers, bat wings, at least four Papa costume changes, camp rock 'n' roll theatre at its absolute apex, and all captured in a way that doesn't make you feel so much like you're in the crowd as running around the stage and surfing around the venue.

The setlist is a true, career-spanning celebration, from heavier, early favourites like Ritual and Con Clavi Con Dio to more recent stadium rock bangers like Spillways , Dance Macabre and Square Hammer . The highlight? Undoubtedly a stunning, stripped-down version of their cover of Roky Erickson's If You Have Ghosts , featuring Papa E popping up on a bonus stage at the back of the Forum, flanked by cellists, a pianist and a mysterious, veiled opera singer. It's a surprisingly emotional moment that crystallises the depth and warmth at the heart of Ghost's playfully subversive, trope-inverting schtick.

Given Ghost's IP and the painstaking care with which Tobias Forge oversees it, it'd have taken a sizeable screw-up for Rite Here Rite Now to be anything other than a complete blast. As a concert film, however, it really is much more than that: it's an instant classic and an absolute triumph.

Rite Here Rite Now is released in cinemas worldwide on June 20. The film's official soundtrack lands July 26

The Big Picture

  • The new movie Rite Here Rite Now captures Ghost's live concert experience and adds a narrative twist to their ongoing storyline.
  • In this exclusive interview with Collider, Ghost founder Tobias Forge talks about why the band enforced a "no phones" policy at the shows they filmed for the movie.
  • Ghost has a wildly diverse fan base, and Forge muses on how their earlier "physically rough" crowds have evolved into a more family-friendly audience.

There might not be a more unlikely success story in music right now than Ghost . After all, the Swedish occult-rock band is led by a demonic pope-like figure named Papa Emeritus and filled out with masked "nameless ghouls" who man all the instruments. They started off in the late 2000s and early 2010s as more of a theatrically inclined doom-metal band, complete with Satanic-themed lyrics, albeit one that offered insanely catchy melodies and singable choruses that elevated their more popular songs into full-blown anthems. Eventually, the heavy-metal vibes were toned down a bit to make room for a more arena-rock sound that has taken Ghost from touring clubs and smaller venus to playing big concert arenas worldwide. (This, at a time when rock music isn't exactly the hottest of musical genres.) Your mom or next-door-neighbor might not know who they are, but if you ask the right teenaged goth girl or middle-aged metalhead, there's a good chance you'll see their eyes light up as they tell you about the most fun rock band going right now.

And here's another not-so-secret fact about Ghost: They're not so much a "band" in the democratic sense as they are a "project" — one created and led by long-time Swedish rocker Tobias Forge , who also serves as the lead singer in the disguise of whatever Papa is fronting the band at any given time. Each new Ghost album and tour comes with a "new" singer, who is really just Forge decked out in newly designed makeup and costuming. Ghost's latest lead singer is Papa Emeritus IV (formerly Cardinal Copia or "Cardi," for short), who was expected to be "killed off" at the end of the band's latest tour, as is usually the case. Forge had other plans, though, and instead of wrapping up the tour and calling it a day on this chapter, he decided to continue the story (and the music) in the band's first-ever concert film, which is titled Rite Here Rite Now and opens this coming weekend in sold-out theaters across the globe.

Filmed last year at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles during the last two shows of the band's U.S. tour, Rite Here Rite Now is, for the most part, a standard concert film — a handsomely shot chronicle of the live Ghost experience. But, in between the songs, fans are also treated to little back-stage asides that follow Forge-as-Papa as he tries to escape the same fate that befell his predecessors. Like the video "webisodes" the band consistently releases online , Rite Here Rite Now 's narrative bits are both macabre and goofy — a joke that Forge, who co-directed the film, and the fans are happily in on. And yet, with Cardi's life on the line, the movie also offers some real stakes for those invested in Ghost's sprawling lore and wondering what might come next.

In this one-on-one interview with Collider, Forge sits down without the makeup to talk about the journey to the first-ever Ghost movie, dreaming about concert tours as a kid, and how he decides the best way to move the Ghost story forward. We also discuss setlists, the band's evolving audience, and the joy that can be had in watching a concert without your damn phone turned on.

Rite Here Rite Now (2024)

A concert film combining live performances from Ghost's sold-out 2023 Kia Forum shows in L.A. with a narrative story that picks up plot threads from the band's long-running webisode series.

Tobias Forge on Ghost's Increasingly Complex Lore and 'Rite Here Rite Now's Deeper Meaning

COLLIDER: First off, congrats on the movie! I'm in Pittsburgh, and screenings keep selling out pretty much as soon as they get added. So, it seems like things are going well.

TOBIAS FORGE: Oh, fantastic. I'm not privy to detail like that, so that's fun to hear. I know that they keep extending it or how it's moving generally. But I'm really glad to hear that it's doing well in Pittsburgh.

I actually bought this Ghost concert T-shirt I'm wearing at my first ever Ghost show, which was at a smaller venue here in Pittsburgh in 2014 . Back then, were you already dreaming about or thinking about a project the size and scope of Rite Here Rite Now ? Or would that have been a pipe dream at that point?

FORGE: Dreamt of, yeah. A lot of the things that we've managed to achieve with Ghost — and keep on trying to achieve — are things that I dreamt of or wanted to do as a kid or a teenager or have been fantasizing. An idea — especially when it's a compilation of ideas, as a record is or a film is or a show is — is comprised of 100 different ideas that originated at different points in time. So, now, when things have turned out quite okay, there are people around me who have known me for a very long time who sort of reflect on the almost humoristic concept of me sitting and drawing [concert] stages when I was a kid and mapping out tours and all this stuff that I was geeking out about. Because I was so interested in that, and I wanted to do that. As well as me spending so much time watching films and being very enamored with cinema and the whole concept of creating, especially when it was vision and sound and story. And I guess, therapeutically, if you want to go into that, it's probably just a big "control" desire. I don't like to think about it like that, but, yeah, I'm a control guy. But I also like when things are scripted and magical.

Without getting too spoilery, there is some forward movement on the Ghost lore front in this film. Was it tough to decide how much further you wanted to take the Ghost story and Cardi's story in this film versus what reveals you wanted to save for the next album and tour cycle?

FORGE: Yeah, a little. There is a greater context, which people will know more about in the future. This film — and what happens at that point in the story — is going to be backed up by other things. As technically the only person who knows the entire story, I have to be cognizant of that. Now I have the pleasure of working with [ Rite Here Rite Now co-director] Alex Ross Perry . Even though we've done great episodes before with others, I really wish that I would have worked with one person throughout the whole process. Because the episodes have had a little bit of a backhanded purpose of telling some sort of commercial message, there was this wish from people around me who wanted more story. "Can you tell more about that?!" I had to harness the whole process — "No, no, no, we're not telling that. We're not going to do that."

Because there will be a point further on when that will happen. That will be revealed in a different way. "Why can't we do it now?" Because it's going to get shitty, and then we've painted ourselves into a corner. You don't want to do that. Most people nowadays, especially people like us, we've watched a ton of [film and TV] series. And one of the great recipes for failure is when you start blowing your load quickly, and then you're going to do a sequel. And then you're just like, "Fuck, we don't even know where this story is!" Is the monster capable of doing this? Because, in the first fucking season, he couldn't do that! All of a sudden, it gets smarter, but this is an ancient monster. How the fuck could it change from one year to another? You should have thought about that before! That's what makes a good series. That's when you write it from the end backwards.

Some of the narrative stuff that is happening backstage in Rite Here Rite Now can be a little goofy and played for laughs, but then there is that section where Papa Nihil talks about finding meaning in entertaining people for a brief moment. And Sister Imperator talks about how "we can waste so much time and energy worrying about what's been and what's next." I thought those ideas felt really earned and honest and maybe sort of central to the message of the movie. Was that the intent there?

FORGE: Yes. There is a message. And one is, I guess, a little more grand, a little bit more philosophical, and one is quite technical ... or wishing for a less technical presence. And that's part of the film because we gently forced the crowd not to have phones, which served for a very unique concert experience. When you see the crowd in the film, what makes them look so engaged? What's missing? There's no fucking phones! Which is phenomenal. When we did that, it was also an experiment. We did it for the film, obviously, because I wanted the film to look a certain way. I wanted to be able to shoot the film without having the film already shot by a thousand cameras. And it also served as an experiment: Does our crowd enjoy the show if they can't see it through the lens of their phones? And it turned out that they did. They liked it. It was actually a joyous experience, and it was great to see all these people just enjoying the shit out of the concert. Afterwards, I was so relieved. It only took two hours away from your phone to feel that.

But also, as a reminder, that is what the film is about. Being in the moment, enjoying things — not recording it — just experiencing it and relying on your ... I don't want to say memory. I know there will be someone reading this who will say, "I have a problem with my memory." I understand individuals might have a hard time with that, and they want to collect and embrace it that way. That's fine. But, generally, over the course of eternity until very recently, most people have memorized things and maybe written them down. And that's how memories are made. That's how you create things. That's how fantasies trigger. That's a message, and also the idea of embracing life when you have it in your hand. And, look, I'm not going to be two-faced about this. I am myself not very good at that. I live constantly like, "What am I going to do in the future?!" And what I like is always in the past — I'm very archaeological in my taste. I wish it was 1985 . That would be fucking amazing. But I also try to enjoy the fact that I'm in London now. We have a big premiere today, and I'm talking to you and that's phenomenal. And I made a film. How many times in your life can you say that? Try to seize that.

The Evolution of Both Ghost's Setlist and Their Fan Base

You're five full albums in, and you have new fans discovering the band with each new album. Is choosing what songs make up a Ghost setlist starting to get tricky yet?

FORGE: I hope that with the addition of a new album at some point, and me knowing a little bit of what that album includes, I think there is room for more songs that will hopefully feel important. Ghost is still — I think, I hope — on the side of our career where a new album actually means something. At a certain point in your career, it won't matter that much, and that is inevitable. You can't really avoid that. It just comes to a point where you become a legacy act, and a new song doesn't really matter. One thing I've really felt throughout the making of this film is that I think we've come to sort of a bookend with this cycle that we just did and the previous cycle. There were similarities with the sets that I think we got very good at. We got very good at a certain flow.

I noticed towards the end of the tour that we'd gotten ... or maybe it's "I." A lot of the things that happen in Ghost is me . It's I who am stuck, and I've found certain parts of it a little bit too repetitive. Because I don't want to get stuck just playing all these songs. I am looking forward, at some point, to start mixing it up in a different way. But it is increasingly harder because we do have a lot of songs that work really well live . And I don't want to play three hours. I really want to make it work and be kind of short and to the point. But certain songs really have a purpose in the show. So, the answer to your question is, yes, it's getting increasingly harder, but I am very interested in breaking that code and changing it up a little.

I'm always impressed with how diverse the crowd is now at a Ghost show. Even in my case, my 17-year-old daughter has become a big fan, so we went to the show together last year. And at the end of Rite Here Rite Now , Papa makes note of how everyone in the crowd is different ages and different sizes and has different experiences and should be nice to each other. Are there any challenges that come with a fan base that's so diverse? Or is it just great to see the band's music accepted by so many types of people?

FORGE: For me, most of the time, I'm just reflecting and looking at the crowd and being like, "Wow, it's amazing how many different people are here, and people seem to be enjoying it." We always have a lot of metalheads at our shows, so that hasn't really changed. What changed was, when we were playing 1,500-seat clubs, you'd get the clientele who are used to going to more physically rough shows. As opposed to an arena where you have seats, and it's just like a completely different situation. Now people are a little bit privy to that, and it's not as rough as it used to be. But, at that point, I saw numerous times — almost every night — how people got into fights because there was this idea on one side of the fence that: "This is a metal show! We need to kick each other's asses! We need to fucking be rowdy and jump around and do things!" Sometimes it got really rough, and that was unnerving to see. Because you're in mid-sentence singing something, and you'd see someone just get their teeth knocked out. Or it could be a kid standing on the front barrier. Now we control that a little, so we try to have kids sections and stuff. But when you see kids or smaller people standing in the front, and then you see this big guy just crashing crowd-surfing. And they land on that person, and you'd see that person just disappear. That is heart-breaking ... and nose-breaking. [Laughing] It's absolutely horrible. That was where I sort of noticed that clash.

Over the years, the sort of places we're playing now, I see very little of that. Maybe the crowd has different experiences. But I think that we've spent a lot of time trying to spread the message that our concerts are very inclusive and try to be very positive . Overall, we're not trying to enthuse that negativity and that sort of violent vibe that you might want at a darker metal show. But that's Ghost. I come from an underground death-metal, black-metal world, where the shows were a completely different vibe, more closely resembling what we did years ago. So I get that. I get that some people want that to be part of a show. But, yeah, we've become more of a family affair. You have to live with the cussin' though! There's a lot of cursing!

Kendrick Lamar made Los Angeles Hip-Hop history last night (June 19) with his The Pop Out: Ken And Friends concert. During the show, he brought out a plethora of collaborators, friends, Top Dawg Entertainment affiliates , and fellow California artists. The grand finale was arguably the most memorable moment of it all, as K. Dot performed “Not Like Us” not once, not twice, but six times.

One of the most reposted moments on social media highlighted the elite camera work from the legendary performance, which was streamed on Amazon Prime Video. Many people are declaring The Pop Out as the official nail in the coffin of the rap beef. Drake and Kendrick were going at each other all throughout April and May after Kendrick fired the first shot in “Like That” by Future and Metro Boomin. Drake swung back with  “Push Ups”  and the since-deleted “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Hear GHOST's surprise new song "The Future Is a Foreign Land"

Ghost 's debut feature-length movie, RITE HERE RIGHT NOW , is finally upon us. The film, which mixes concert and narrative footage, kicked off its global theatrical run yesterday (June 20th), and Papa Emeritus IV and the Nameless Ghouls had an extra surprise for moviegoers: a new/old song, titled "The Future Is a Foreign Land."

The previously unreleased cut was revealed during the end credits of RITE HERE RITE NOW' s world premiere, and it's just hit digital streaming platforms for wider consumption by the faithful legions. According to Ghost lore, the song is a "newly uncovered 1969-era gem" recorded by the Papa Nihil-fronted incarnation of the band. Indeed, with its jangly guitar, organ swells, wailing sax and future-tense talk of "1984," the tune sits nicely beside "Kiss the Go-Goat" and "Mary on a Cross."

Hear it above via YouTube.

RITE HERE RIGHT NOW will continue playing in cinemas worldwide June 21st, 22nd and 23rd. A full list of participating theaters can be found here , and tickets are on sale now.

The movie's soundtrack — featuring "The Future Is a Foreign Land" (check out the full tracklist below) — is due out on vinyl July 26th and available for pre-order. Revolver had two exclusive, limited-edition colorways, though the "translucent milky clear" variant quickly sold out. You can still pick up the "translucent black ice" pressing at our shop .

Revolver' s new Summer 2024 Issue featuring Ghost on the cover is also available for order. Snag yours here .

Megan Thee Stallion 2024 setlist: What she's singing on the Hot Girl Summer Tour

M egan Thee Stallion brought the  Hot Girl Summer Tour to downtown Phoenix on Wednesday, June 19, treating fans at Footprint Center to a hit-filled concert that featured special guest GloRilla.

For whatever reason, she hasn’t been performing “Hot Girl Summer,” a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign, on the Hot Girl Summer Tour.

Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

But the shows have been loaded with hits, from “Big Ole Freak,” her double-platinum breakthrough singles, to “Hiss,” which recently became her third release to top the Billboard Hot 100, following the eight-times-platinum Cardi B collaboration "WAP" and "Savage."
