New Capcom Pro Tour 2023 update details tournament schedule, world warrior information and more

None

Capcom has now released new information regarding the Capcom Pro tour 2023 tournament schedule, new world warrior events and more though there's still some questions waiting to be answered.

The official CPT season will not actually start until Evo 2023 in early August, which will probably also offer the largest offline bracket of the whole year (and potentially largest we've ever seen for a fighting game in general).

Interestingly, however, there appears to only be 2 more offline premiers set for the entire season with unnamed events for Singapore coming in October and France in November.

Capcom will be holding one online premier tournament for each of the 18 regions, and winners will get to punch their ticket to Capcom Cup X the same as offline champions.

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the tour is the part we know least about though, and that's the new world warrior events.

There will be five open tournaments held in each of the 26 regions available where players will earn points, and the top point holders will compete in a regional final to see who advances to Capcom Cup.

How and when those will take place isn't known yet or if they'll be online or offline, but we presume they'll probably be online except maybe the regional finals.

Capcom says they'll release more information about the world warrior events in the near future.
