After selling out his 36-date El Ultimo Tour Del Mundo arena tour in record time, and before even playing a single show from that tour — which kicks off Feb. 9 — Bad Bunny is announcing an ambitious 29-date stadium tour for 2022.

Promoted by Live Nation and CMN, Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour kicks off Aug. 5 at Campus Stadium in Orlando, and will make 15 U.S. stops, including Yankee Stadium in New York, Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and Fenway Park in Boston.

Billboard's Greatest Pop Stars of 2021: No. 10 -- Bad Bunny

See latest videos, charts and news

That’s very good news for the thousands of fans who weren’t able to score tickets for El Ultimo Tour del Mundo, which sold out in days. The World’s Hottest Tour also comes with a bonus: In the U.S., Bunny will feature DJ Alesso as a guest for 11 dates, and Diplo as a guest at two dates, including the final show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles Sept. 30.

The tour then continues to Latin America for 14 stops in October, including Estadio Velez in Buenos Aires and Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.

Tickets will go on pre-sale Wednesday (Jan. 26) at 12 p.m. via worldshottesttour.com , and goes on sale to the general public on Friday, Jan. 28, also at 12 p.m.

The tour announcement was followed very quickly by a new album announcement, which Bad Bunny made via a video on Instagram reels.

Bad Bunny’s tour may be the most ambitious for a Latin artist ever in the U.S. But then again, the Puerto Rican star has been on a record-breaking streak for the past three years. Bunny (real name Benito Martínez Ocasio) was the top selling Latin artist of 2021 for the third consecutive year, according to MRC data, and the most streamed artist globally on Spotify for the second consecutive year. He is also the first artist to place an all-Spanish album at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 .

On the live front, in 2021 Bunny sold 480,000 tickets and grossed $84 million in a single day when his 2022 El Último Tour del Mundo tour went on sale. It became Ticketmaster’s top-selling tour for a first day since Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On the Run II Tour in 2018.

In December 2021, Bunny played back-to-back shows at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico, staging a festival-like performance that included multiple stages and environments. Whether this will serve as the template for Bunny’s upcoming stadium tour remains to be seen.

All tour dates are listed below.

Bad Bunny Announces World's Hottest Tour For Summer 2022

With special guests Alesso and Diplo.

It’s shaping up to be a major year for Bad Bunny. After selling out his first headlining tour since 2020, El Último Tour Del Mundo, in record time — the Puerto Rican superstar is now extending his trek around the world by announcing a new 29-date stadium tour set to take place during the summer of 2022 in the U.S. and Latin America.

World’s Hottest Tour, Bad Bunny’s first-ever stadium-sized tour, will kick off just four months after he wraps up El Último Tour Del Mundo, which is set to begin at the beginning of Feb.

Come Aug. 5, Bad Bunny will embark on the U.S. leg of World’s Hottest Tour with performances set at major arenas across the U.S., including Atlanta’s Truist Park, Boston’s Fenway Park, Chicago’s Soldier Field, New York City’s Yankee Stadium, and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. And there’s more: Bad Bunny is also inviting DJs Alesso and Diplo to open select dates on the road.

The Latin America leg of the tour will commence shortly after in October, with shows in Dominican Republic, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, and more, before ending with two shows in Mexico.

Announcing the new shows via Instagram Reels , Bad Bunny also revealed that a new album is on the way: “While I work on my new album, you can buy tickets for my next tour,” he said. The album will be his first major release since 2020’s El Último Tour Del Mundo .

See everything we know about World’s Hottest Tour, including the full dates, openers, and how to buy tickets, below.

Tickets On Sale Friday, January 28 12pm Local Time On Worldshottesttour.com

Proclaimed the most listened-to artist in the world for a second consecutive year by Spotify, Bad Bunny has distinguished himself for his revolutionary moves that constantly impact the music industry. Today, the multi-award-winning artist adds a new milestone to his career, announcing his first stadium tour “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour” across the United States and Latin America. Promoted by Live Nation and CMN in the U.S., the tour kicks off on August 5th at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL, making stops in Miami, Chicago, New York and many more before wrapping at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on September 30th, then heading out to Latin America in October. Tickets for this stadium tour will go on pre-sale beginning Wednesday, January 26 at 12pm local time. Subsequently, they will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, January 28 at 12pm local time on worldshottesttour.com .

Joining Bad Bunny as special guests on select dates in the U.S. will be GRAMMY® nominated DJ and Record Producer, Alesso and ten-time GRAMMY® nominated artist, Diplo . With his music and visuals, Alesso creates experiences that have made him one of the most celebrated live performers. Diplo is one of the most dynamic forces in music today with billions of streams on some of the world’s best dance recordings.

This announcement is a clear representation of Bad Bunny’s extraordinary  growth as a global superstar. Just after announcing his tour “El Último Tour Del Mundo 2022” in April 2021, which will begin February 9th and will tour 35 indoor arenas across North America, the artist broke the record at Ticketmaster for the most ticket sales for a tour on its first day of sales since 2018. Bad Bunny quickly sold out all 35 shows, moving more than 500,000 tickets. In addition, the artist performed his first stadium concerts in December 2021, breaking audience records with two performances at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico. There is no doubt that after such success, “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour” in stadiums with an all new production will continue to elevate the artist’s career to new transcendental levels.

Over the past year, Bad Bunny has released top hits that have earned him the title of #1 Latin Artist in the US by Billboard for a third consecutive year and was also named one of the top 10 most popular global superstars. As if that were not enough, he is also the highest-ranking Latin act on Billboard’s general all genre chart “Top Artists,” ranking at #10, and is the artist with the most hits to reach the Top 10 of the “Hot Latin Songs” chart since the charts inception.

Adding to his great accomplishments in 2021, the artist closed the year by surprising his fans with the premiere of the music video for “Te Deseo Lo Mejor,” which he made in collaboration with The Simpsons . The series is known for bringing some of the most popular celebrities in the world to life in cartoon form and this time Bad Bunny caused a great impact with his participation, reaffirming his leading spot in the music industry.

Bad Bunny is going on tour! Of course, it won’t be until next year, as most venues are still more or less shut down right now. But this is certainly a good sign that things are trending in the right direction and the light at the end of the tunnel is not only visible but also approaching at an encouraging clip.

The tour centers around his recently released El Último Tour del Mundo . In the meantime, we can still catch Bad Bunny at sporting events like Wrestlemania, where he actually acquitted himself well , helping tag-team partner Damian Priest beat The Miz and John Morrison.

Bad Bunny tour 2022: Where to buy tickets, schedule, dates for ‘World’s Hottest Tour’

  • Updated: Jan. 24, 2022, 5:41 p.m. |

Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny will conduct two massive tours in 2022. Chris Pizzello/Invision/AP

  • Matt Levy | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

For some artists, a single tour in a year is more than enough.

That wasn’t enough for Bad Bunny , though.

Spotify’s most streamed artist of 2020 and 2021 is launching his “World’s Hottest Tour” starting this August. Ironically, it will follow his massive “El Último Tour Del Mundo,” which translates to “The Last Tour of the World.”

What separates the newly announced international tour from the former is that Bad Bunny will only be playing stadium concerts during this one.

And that includes Yankee Stadium on Aug. 27 .

Prior to that, on Bad Bunny’s original 2022 tour, the Grammy Award-winning artist will be at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center on March 16 and Newark’s Prudential Center on March 18 .

If you’re hoping to see Bad Bunny on either one of his massive tours, here’s everything you need to know.

Where can I buy tickets to see Bad Bunny?

Tickets for Bad Bunny’s new “World’s Hottest Tour” go on sale at Ticketmaster to the general public Friday, Jan. 28 at 12 p.m. local time for all shows.

If you don’t want to wait until the tickets go on sale to the general public, you can find seats right now on sites like Vivid Seats , StubHub or MegaSeats . It’s common for speculative tickets to show up on the secondary market first, but be aware that prices may be more expensive than when they go on sale to the general public

Tickets for “El Último Tour Del Mundo” are available on all major ticketing platforms such as StubHub , Vivid Seats , Ticketmaster , SeatGeek and MegaSeats .

Where is Bad Bunny going on his tours?

Bad Bunny currently has a whopping 50 shows lined up as part of his two 2022 tours .

"Bad Bunny: World's Hottest Tour" includes show at some of the country's biggest venues

Bad Bunny Announces 2022 US Stadium Tour

Bad Bunny has announced a massive US stadium tour that’ll take place in Summer 2022.

The “Bad Bunny: World’s Hottest Tour” includes shows at some of the biggest venues in the US, including Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, Chicago’s Soldier Field, New York’s Yankee Stadium, Dallas’ AT&T Stadium, and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. Joining him on tour will be Alesso and Diplo, who’ll take turns serving as support on select dates.

Update – January 31st: Due to “overwhelming demand” for tickets, the Puerto Rican rapper and singer has announced additional stadium shows in six cities : Miami, New York, Houston, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

A ticket pre-sale for the tour begins Wednesday, January 26th at 12:00 p.m. local time, with a public on-sale following on January 28th at 12:00 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster . Update: A pre-sale for the six new stadium shows in Miami, New York, Houston, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles will be available starting Wednesday, February 2nd at 12:00 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster . A public on-sale will follow on Friday, February 4th at 12:00 p.m.

Bad Bunny’s “World Hottest Tour” also includes a leg of South American dates taking place between October and December.

The “World Hottest Tour” follows Bad Bunny’s previously announced “El Último Tour Del Mundo,” which kicks off in the US starting in mid-February. While two expansive tours taking place in such close proximity would seem like a fool’s errand for many artists, the demand is certainly there for Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican rapper and singer recently claimed the title as Spotify’s most streamed artists for the second year running after amassing more than nine billion streams globally.

Bad Bunny, known as Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is a Puerto Rican rapper/singer who has taken the world by storm with his lyrical delivery and flashy style. He can loosely be called a reggaeton and Latin trap artist, but his experimental tendencies promise more surprises in his career.

Bad Bunny first entered the public zeitgeist in 2016 with his single “Diles,” which was responsible for landing him a deal with Hear This Music. Other tracks like “Soy Peor,” as well as collaborations with other big artists like J Balvin, Ozuna, Karol G, and Farruko, helped drive his career forward in the ballistic rise of this young legend.

Bad Bunny’s true breakthrough was in 2018, when he was featured on Cardi B’s track “I Like It” with J Balvin. That same year, he put out a song called “Mia” featuring none other than Drake. His first album, X 100, was pre-released that December and made it to number 11 on the Billboard 200.

Just six months later, Bad Bunny and J Balvin released a collab album called Oasis, which reached number nine on the Billboard Global 200. With eight Latin platinum certifications from the RIAA, Oasis cemented Bad Bunny as a name to watch.

Despite the difficulties of COVID-19, 2020 was a year of extremely prolific output for Bad Bunny. On February 29, 2020, he released his second solo studio album, YHLQMDLG (an acronym for “Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana,” or “I do what I want”). YHLQMDLG surged to number two on the Billboard charts, becoming the highest-charting all-Spanish album of all time.

YHLQMDLG wouldn’t keep that record for long. In November of the same year, Bad Bunny smashed his own record with his third studio album, El Último Tour Del Mundo. This album became the first-ever album recorded all in Spanish to reach the top of the Billboard 200 charts. Between his two 2020 studio albums, Bad Bunny also found time to drop a compilation album, Las Que No Iban A Salir (Spanish for “The Ones That Were Not Coming Out”).

In 2020 and 2021, he was the first non-English-speaking musician to receive the “most-streamed artist of the year” accolade. With recent videos like “Tití me Preguntó” amassing over half a billion views on YouTube, it’s clear why Bad Bunny is credited with giving a boost to Spanish-language music in the English-speaking and worldwide markets.

Bad Bunny hasn’t slowed down since. His fourth studio album, Un Verano Sin Ti, came out in May 2022 and also hit the number one spot in the US.

Speaking of accolades, you can’t ignore the fact that Bad Bunny has already earned two Grammys, four Latin Grammys, 13 Premios lo Nuestro awards, and eight Billboard Music awards. His place in the global music scene can’t be questioned. The only question is: will you manage to catch him in concert while he’s still in this historic early phase of his career?

Bad Bunny tour dates are currently popping up for the remainder of 2022 and 2023, giving you a chance to catch this reggaeton sensation in person.

Live reviews

Bad Bunny was absolutely amazing! This was my second time seeing him here in Seattle and loved his show. I would see him again in concert in a heartbeat. He exudes high energy, super fun to sing and dance to and love the way he interacts with the crowd. The lighting and smoke effects also added to the ambiance and overall concert experience.

Sound quality and parking (fire/safety hazard/people were there, but didn't assist with directing traffic in any way) at Tacoma Dome wasn't the best unfortunately, so hoping any future shows would be at the new Key Arena or back at WaMu Theatre.

The event stated that it would begin at 7pm. It didnt start till almost 9pm. It would be helpful if the start time was more accurate. Overall, it was a good performance. Wish there was some performance before the concert. I did enjoy how the effects were presented, love the bracelets that were on the seats. The surprised guest fantastic. Will I come to another concert of Bad Bunny, probably not for a long time. Hoping that he comes out with more surprises later in the future.

Hands down one of the best shows I've ever been to! Bad Bunny is just such a huge character and has so much charisma and very fun to dance along with. The sound and acoustics in WaMu Theater were amazing. I was also very impressed with the cocktail area and the great service of the staff. Also, the visual art and effects of the show were so dope. This was my first time seeing him live, and it most certainly will not be my last!

That concert in my daughters words was lit.

It was amazing from the time he hit the stage no one sat down. Very humble got off stage to shake hands with fans and thank us over and over because us is why his dreams came true. After the concert people were waiting in line and hour to get souvenirs. He was worth every penny I would go again. He has a big fan base here just wish the concert was a little longer.

Bad Bunny Adds New Dates to 2022 “World’s Hottest Tour”

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

The post Bad Bunny Adds New Dates to 2022 “World’s Hottest Tour” appeared first on Consequence .

Bad Bunny’s “World’s Hottest Tour” is living up to its name. Due to “overwhelming demand” for tickets, the Puerto Rican rapper and singer has announced additional stadium shows in six cities: Miami, New York, Houston, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

The new dates are as follows: August 13th at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium; August 28th at New York’s Yankee Stadium; September 2nd at Houston’s Minute Maid Park; September 18th at San Diego’s PETCO Park; September 24th at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium; and October 1st at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. See the updated tour itinerary below (new dates are in bold).

Pre-sale tickets for the newly announced dates will be available starting Wednesday, February 2nd at 12:00 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster (using pre-sale code CALIENTE). A public on-sale will follow on Friday, February 4th at 12:00 p.m.

After all, he recently claimed the title as Spotify’s most streamed artists for the second year running after amassing more than nine billion streams globally.

Adding to his great accomplishments in 2021, the artist closed the year by surprising his fans with the premiere of the music video for “Te Deseo Lo Mejor,” which he made in collaboration with The Simpsons. The series is known for bringing some of the most popular celebrities in the world to life in cartoon form and this time Bad Bunny caused a great impact with his participation, reaffirming his leading spot in the music industry.
