Here Are All the Songs in ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ Movie

Find out which songs from the tour setlist were cut

1989 eras tour setlist

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert film premiered in October to an enthusiastic crowd of celebrities, fans and of course Taylor’s team, with the star of the film in attendance. As one of the first to see the film, TheWrap got the scoop on which songs from the wildly popular tour made the film, and which songs were cut.

After making speeches in multiple auditoriums for separate audiences, Swift, clad in a sky blue floral-patterned dress (probably in theme for “1989 (Taylor’s Version) with her hair pinned up like the signature bob she had when that album first came out), sat back to enjoy the film’s premiere in one of the IMAX screening rooms with her background vocalists and publicist Tree Paine.

The documentary runs 2 hours and 48 minutes, slightly shorter than Swift’s three-hour setlist and performance, which she has brought to 17 of the United States so far in addition to Mexico. The European leg will kick off in November, with Swift returning for 15 more U.S. shows in October and November of 2024. And now you can rent “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” on digital to watch at home. Read on for the 41 songs that made the cut to truly represent all 10 of Swift’s eras.

Now that the film is heading exclusively to Disney+ for streaming , additional acoustic surprise songs will make it into the film, all of which were filmed during the Los Angeles SoFi shows.

Taylor Swift’s Record-Breaking Eras Tour: See the Setlist

Lorie Liebig

Updated:

On Wednesday (August 9), the extensive first leg of Taylor Swift ‘s career-spanning Eras Tour came to a triumphant close. During the final performance of six straight nights at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the 33-year-old hitmaker announced that a re-recorded version of her 2014 album  1989  will be released on October 27.

Videos by American Songwriter

The news is just the latest in a sea of special announcements and surprises that have coincided with Swift’s first headlining tour in five years. Since kicking off on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, The Eras Tour has been Swift’s platform to share news directly with her dedicated fans. Along with the release dates for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and the extended edition of her 2022 album Midnights , she debuted her music videos for “Karma” and “I Can See You” from the stage.

The special connection that Swift has fostered with her massive fanbase has helped land The Eras Tour in the history books. The U.S. Justice Department launched a formal investigation into Ticketmaster after unpredicted demand for the tour caused the site to crash during its initial pre-sale.

On a more positive note, sales of beads and craft supplies rose due to thousands of fans creating Swift-themed friendship bracelets to exchange at show dates. The Eras Tour is also on track to become the highest-grossing concert tour in history , breaking a sales record previously held by Elton John.

If you didn’t get to see Swift’s visual spectacle, which includes vignette performances of songs from each of her past albums, you’re in luck. Additional U.S. dates were recently announced for 2024 , with more dates expected to be unveiled in the coming months.

If you don’t have your tickets to the Eras Tour yet, you can get them on StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

Breaking Down Taylor Swift’s Tour Setlist, Era by Era

Image of Benedetta Geddo

Taylor Swift probably needs no introduction given how she’s one of the most listened-to and most influential artists in the world, breaking records left and right with everything she does. That includes the world tour she’s currently busy on, the Eras Tour—a spectacularly-crafted show that lasts more than three hours and spans the entirety of her career , from her debut album to her most recent work .

The Eras Tour kicked off last March in Glendale, Arizona, and officially wrapped up its first leg—the USA one—with six nights at Sofi Stadium in California, from August 3 to August 9. The very last concert, of course, finished with a bang as Swift announced the release of the newest album in her ongoing re-recording project: 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is coming out on October 27. The announcement was anticipated by a series of very Taylor Swift-esque details, including her switching to blue outfits on stage and the significance of the date—her last show at Sofi was on 8/9, after all.

Still, the Eras Tour has a long way to go. 2023 will see Swift traveling through South America, with dates in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil. And once the new year arrives it will be time to go overseas—from Japan to Australia to Singapore, then a whole series of dates throughout Europe, and finishing stateside with nights in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and then Canada.

While there definitely might be some changes to the show for its international leg, it’s likely that the bones of the Eras Tour will remain the same. And that, of course, includes its setlist. Let’s take a deep dive into Taylor Swift’s setlist, breaking it down one era at a time.

The Lover act

The show kicks off with the section dedicated to Lover, her seventh studio album. Swift appears on stage and starts with “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” before going into “Cruel Summer”—which famously has the very first bridge of the night, as the singer herself tells the audience. Then it’s “The Man” and “You Need to Calm Down” with a whole ensemble of dancers before more stripped-down versions of both “Lover” and “The Archer.”

The Fearless act

The second act moves to Swift’s sophomore album Fearless , released back in 2008. After an obligatory costume change into something orange to represent this particular era, Swift performs “Fearless,” “You Belong With Me,” and “Love Story.” This act is also one of the shortest in the whole show.

The Evermore act

The third act takes things from country to witchy for Evermore , the singer’s second-to-last album. This era kicks off with “’tis the damn season” and continues with “willow,” “marjorie,” “champagne problems,” and ends with “tolerate it.”

The Reputation act

One of the most anticipated each night, the fourth act is dedicated to the 2017 album Reputation —which brought Swift back to the public eye after a series of scandals that threatened to end her career. Swift starts off with “…Ready for It?” and “Delicate” before “Don’t Blame Me,” which iconically transitions into “Look What You Made Me Do.”

The Speak Now act

The fifth—and shortest—act evokes Swift’s junior album, Speak Now , whose re-record was released right in the middle of the tour on July 7. The singer performs two songs—”Enchanted” and “Long Live,” which was added after the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) —while wearing a full ball gown, one of the most recognizable outfits from the entire show.

The Red act

The first song of the act dedicated to Swift’s fourth album, Red , is “22”—at the end of which the singer gives away the hat she’s wearing to a fan who is chosen in advance. Then it’s time for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “I Knew You Were Trouble”, before she finishes the act with “All Too Well.”

The Folklore act

The seventh act is dedicated to Folklore and it’s a triumph of cottagecore. The first song when the tour started was “invisible string,” which was replaced by “the 1.” Swift continues with “betty,” “the last great american dynasty,” “august,” “illicit affairs,” and “my tears ricochet.” The final song of this era is “cardigan.”

The 1989 act

The second-to-last act of the show starts with “Style” and continues with “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “Bad Blood.” At the end of this act, there’s the famed acoustics set where Swift sits down to play two surprise songs —one on the guitar and one on the piano. The surprise songs have become one of the most recurring inside jokes throughout the tour, with fans guessing what the two songs of the night will be before the show and sharing their reactions after. Fans have also been keeping track of which songs have been played, though it’s likely that the count will reset for the international dates.

The Midnights act

The final act of the show is dedicated to the most recent album Swift released, Midnights . The act opens with “Lavender Haze” and continues with “Anti-Hero,” “Midnight Rain,” and “Vigilante Shit”—with its by-now iconic blue bodysuit and chair dance choreography. “Bejeweled” also features a TikTok-inspired dance move that has gone viral, and then Swift finishes off the show with “Mastermind” and “Karma,” and a healthy dose of fireworks and confetti, as all good closings should have.

Here’s the full setlist:

Taylor Swift changed The Eras Tour set list to include 'The Tortured Poets Department.' Here are all 46 songs she performs now.

  • Taylor Swift's blockbuster Eras Tour resumed Thursday in Nanterre, France.
  • Swift altered the set list to include songs from her new album, "The Tortured Poets Department."
  • The current Eras Tour set list, which includes 46 various hits and deep cuts, is cataloged below.

Insider Today

Taylor Swift is back on the road for her record-breaking , economy-altering Eras Tour.

The stadium series kicked off last year in Glendale, Arizona, and quickly became a sensation . After making stops across the US, Mexico, South America , Japan, Australia, and Singapore , Swift will continue to perform throughout 2024 in Europe , plus a second North American leg scheduled for later this year.

On Thursday, Swift resumed The Eras Tour in France after a multi-week hiatus.

During that break, Swift released her 11th studio album, " The Tortured Poets Department " — so she adjusted the original 44-song set list to include brand new tracks, though other fan favorites (including " The Archer ," " The 1 ," and " Tolerate It ") were cut for time.

The updated show stretches for over three hours and includes 46 songs. The complete set list is cataloged below, in order of Swift's performance.

"Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince"

1989 eras tour setlist

The Eras Tour is Swift's first live tour since 2018. The show opener includes the lyric, "It's been a long time coming, but / It's you and me, that's my whole world."

"Cruel Summer"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Cruel Summer" was released as the second track on 2019's "Lover" and never promoted as a single.

However, once The Eras Tour was underway, the song experienced a delayed surge in popularity and became Swift's milestone 10th chart-topper on the Billboard Hot 100 .

"The Man"

1989 eras tour setlist

"The Man" was promoted as the fourth single from "Lover," alongside an Easter egg-filled music video .

"You Need to Calm Down"

1989 eras tour setlist

"You Need to Calm Down" is an ode to LGBTQ+ rights . The music video, which features a huge cast of queer celebrities , ends with a call to sign the Equality Act .

"Lover"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Lover" is the solo-written title track from Swift's seventh studio album. Before she performs the song during The Eras Tour, she tells fans that she hopes it'll hold a special meaning for each individual who hears it.

"These are songs that I have written about my life or things I felt at one point in time," she says in the concert movie. "But after tonight, when you hear these songs out and about in the world, my dream is that you're gonna think about tonight, and the memories we made here together."

"Fearless"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Fearless" is the title track for Swift's 2008 sophomore album, which is still known as the most-awarded country album of all time .

"You Belong With Me"

1989 eras tour setlist

Swift won best female video for "You Belong With Me" at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards .

"Love Story"

"22"

When Swift performs "22" during The Eras Tour, she always gives her bowler hat to one lucky concertgoer .

"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"

"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was released as the lead single from "Red" in 2012. It became Swift's first-ever No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 .

"I Knew You Were Trouble"

1989 eras tour setlist

The third single from "Red," coproduced by Max Martin and Shellback, peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100.

"All Too Well (10 Minute Version)"

1989 eras tour setlist

The extended version of "All Too Well" was released as the final track on " Red (Taylor's Version) " after years of fan anticipation.

It debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, becoming the longest song ever to hold the chart's top position.

"Enchanted"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Enchanted" is the only song from Swift's third album, "Speak Now," that she currently performs during The Eras Tour.

For a brief time, following the release of " Speak Now (Taylor's Version) ," Swift added the fan-favorite deep cut "Long Live" to the set list. It has since been removed.

"…Ready for It?"

1989 eras tour setlist

"…Ready for It?" was originally teased during ABC's "Saturday Night Football" broadcast in 2017. It was later used by ESPN in college football commercials.

"Delicate"

1989 eras tour setlist

Swift's performance of "Delicate" during The Eras Tour features a stage animation that cracks beneath her feet .

"Don't Blame Me"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Don't Blame Me" is the sole non-single that Swift performs during the tour's "Reputation" segment. The fan-favorite track is often cited as a highlight of the show .

"Look What You Made Me Do"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Look What You Made Me Do," which interpolates Right Said Fred's '90s hit "I'm Too Sexy," was released as the lead single from "Reputation" and debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

"Cardigan"

1989 eras tour setlist

The No. 1 single "Cardigan" was released alongside Swift's beloved album " Folklore ." The song references Peter Pan and introduces the album's "teenage love triangle."

"Betty"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Betty" is told from the perspective of a high schooler named James , who broke the heart of the titular heroine.

"Champagne Problems"

1989 eras tour setlist

The heart-wrenching piano ballad "Champagne Problems" often inspires a minutes-long standing ovation during The Eras Tour.

"August"

1989 eras tour setlist

Swift's debut performance of "August" took place at the 2021 Grammy Awards. Later that night, she won album of the year for "Folklore," her record-tying third trophy in that category.

"Illicit Affairs"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Illicit Affairs" is widely interpreted as a song about marital infidelity, though its descriptions of forbidden love and "clandestine meetings" adopt new meanings through a queer lens .

"My Tears Ricochet"

1989 eras tour setlist

In Swift's own words , "My Tears Ricochet" was inspired by the image of an "embittered tormentor showing up at the funeral of his fallen object of obsession."

"Marjorie"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Marjorie" is named after Swift's late grandmother, Marjorie Finlay , an opera singer who died in 2003. Finlay is credited with background vocals in the song.

"Willow"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Willow" was promoted as the lead single from " Evermore ." Like "Cardigan," it was released simultaneously with its parent album and debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

"Style"

1989 eras tour setlist

Swift briefly dated Harry Styles before releasing her fifth studio album, "1989."

When Rolling Stone asked about the inspiration behind the album's third track, "Style," she replied, "We should have just called it 'I'm Not Even Sorry.'"

"Blank Space"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Blank Space" is a widely celebrated satire about Swift's reputation as a "serial dater."

"'She only writes songs to get emotional revenge on guys. She's a man-hater. Don't let her near your boyfriend,'" Swift explained at the time. "It was just kind of excessive and, you know, at first it was hurtful and then I kind of found a little comedy in it."

The song dethroned "Shake It Off" at No. 1 on the Hot 100, making Swift the first and only woman in history to replace herself in the chart's top spot. (She has since done it twice.)

"Shake It Off"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Shake It Off" was released as the lead single from "1989," Swift's official pivot from country to pop music .

The song became her first to debut at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and remained there for four weeks. It also inspired a sketch on "Saturday Night Live"  about adults realizing they love Swift's music.

"Wildest Dreams"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Wildest Dreams" was released as the first rerecorded song from "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

"Bad Blood"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Bad Blood" was famously inspired by Swift's then-feud with Katy Perry , whom Swift accused of trying to "sabotage" her "Red" tour. (The two pop stars have long since buried the hatchet .)

The remix includes a feature from Kendrick Lamar , who returned to rerecord his verse for "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

"But Daddy I Love Him"

1989 eras tour setlist

Following the release of her massive double album , "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology," Swift added seven brand-new songs to The Eras Tour setlist.

The first is "But Daddy I Love Him," a sharp rebuke of Swift's own fans , many of whom criticized her dating life last year.

"So High School"

1989 eras tour setlist

"So High School" is widely presumed to be about Swift's current boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce . The song's lyrics seem to reference their different professions: "You know how to ball, I know Aristotle."

"Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?"

1989 eras tour setlist

Swift is the only songwriter credited for "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?"

The song title is likely inspired by "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" — a celebrated play written by Edward Albee that tackles themes of truth versus illusion, fate versus choice, and feeling trapped.

"Down Bad"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Down Bad" is a heartsick serenade that compares falling in love to being abducted by aliens.

"Fortnight"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Fortnight" was promoted as the lead single from "The Tortured Poets Department," alongside a music video that costars Post Malone and references "Dead Poets Society."

"The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived"

1989 eras tour setlist

"The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" is a scathing breakup song that may have been inspired by Matty Healy , whom Swift dated while writing "The Tortured Poets Department." According to reports, their relationship lasted about one month .

"I Can Do It With a Broken Heart"

1989 eras tour setlist

In a meta twist, "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" was apparently inspired by The Eras Tour itself. The lyrics seem to reference a string of concerts last year, when Swift felt "miserable" but continued to perform as usual ("They said, 'Babe, you gotta fake it 'til you make it,' and I did").

Surprise Song No. 1

1989 eras tour setlist

During each show on The Eras Tour, Swift performs a two-song acoustic set that changes every night . The first song is always played on acoustic guitar.

The first-ever surprise song Swift played in Arizona was "Mirrorball." For the first stop on the European leg, she chose the "Midnights" bonus cut "Paris."

Surprise Song No. 2

1989 eras tour setlist

The second surprise song of the evening is always played on the piano.

In Arizona, Swift's first-ever surprise song on piano was "Tim McGraw," the lead single from her 2006 debut album. For night one in France, Swift played the "Tortured Poets" heartbreaker "Loml."

"Lavender Haze"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Lavender Haze" is the opening track on Swift's 10th studio album " Midnights ."

"Anti-Hero"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Anti-Hero" was promoted as the lead single from "Midnights." It debuted at No. 1 and became Swift's biggest hit to date, reigning atop the chart for eight weeks.

The same week that "Anti-Hero" arrived in the top spot, Swift became the first and only artist in history to  occupy the entire top 10 on the Hot 100 .

"Midnight Rain"

1989 eras tour setlist

"Midnight Rain" doubles as a breakup song and an ode to Swift's own ambitions: "He wanted it comfortable, I wanted that pain / He wanted a bride, I was making my own name," she sings, calling back to the rejection of '50s gender roles in "Lavender Haze."

"Vigilante Shit"

1989 eras tour setlist

Put simply, "Vigilante Shit" is about getting revenge. Many fans believe the song was inspired by Scooter Braun , who purchased Swift's back catalog in 2019. Less than two years later, he sold Swift's master recordings to a private equity company .

"Bejeweled"

1989 eras tour setlist

The music video for "Bejeweled"  includes a variety of celebrity cameos, including Laura Dern, the Haim sisters, and Dita Von Teese.

"Mastermind"

1989 eras tour setlist

In the chorus of "Mastermind," Swift seems to serenade her longtime fans: "What if I told you I'm a mastermind? / And now you're mine."

The song also references Swift's penchant for Easter eggs and her keen business acumen, which has allowed her to build a billion-dollar empire .

"I'm sick of women not being able to say that they have strategic business minds — because male artists are allowed to," Swift told Rolling Stone in 2019. "And so I'm sick and tired of having to pretend like I don't mastermind my own business."

"Karma"

1989 eras tour setlist

Swift closes the elaborate show with "Karma," a song that mocks her enemies and salutes her own longevity: "Ask me what I learned from all those years / Ask me what I earned from all those tears / Ask me why so many fade, but I'm still here."

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Setlist in Order: Here's Everything She's Changed So Far

I f you thought Taylor Swift took two months “off” to hang with her boyfriend and release her album, well, surprise! She was rehearsing a new Eras Tour setlist in order to add the Tortured Poets Department songs into the show (which plenty of people caught onto via the rehearsal footage she put in her "Fortnight" shorts, but anyway, I'm still in the Swiftie asylum, it's fine if you missed that).

Yes, when Swift opened the European leg of the massive tour on May 9 in Paris, she performed a dramatically re-worked version of the show, which previously had only changed slightly from night to night. Here are all the major updates, including the entire Eras Tour setlist in order, below:

The Tortured Poets Department setlist

It became clear literally from the moment the concert started that TTPD would be incorporated into the show, as the medley of sounds that plays while the dancers take the stage before Swift pops up now included a voice singing “…tortured poets department…”

Toward the end of the evening, the visuals on the screen behind the stage became black and white, and the TTPD era began. Swift performed the entirety of “But Daddy I Love Him” and a portion of “So High School” (the only track from the second Anthology album) before a very dramatic rendition of “Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?” in which she used an optical illusion to levitate over the stage.

There was also a terrifying Evil Taylor behind her during the song. Nils Sjöberg, is that you?

A UFO graphic cued audiences into “Down Bad,” and then the bed from the music video appeared for “Fortnight.” Swift sang “ The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived ” and then performed a pantomime skit in which her dancers force her into a sparkly outfit so she can do “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” ending with the lyric “try and come for my job!”

Wanna watch it? Go ahead.

Or you can just wait for the proshot…

Re-ordered eras

Original Eras Tour setlist in order: Lover, Fearless, evermore, Reputation , Speak Now, Red, folklore, 1989 , acoustic surprise songs, Midnights .

New Taylor Swift Eras Tour setlist in order: Lover, Fearless, Red, Speak Now, Reputation , folkmore ( folklore and evermore combined), 1989, TTPD , acoustic surprise songs, Midnights.

"The sisters are reunited... You can call it folkmore or everlore. Whatever you want as long as you sing 'Champagne Problems," she told the crowd.

The Taylor Swift Setlist giveth, but the Taylor Swift New Setlist taketh away. To make room for tracks from the new album, some songs had to go. A few tracks from folklore and evermore were shortened, and “Long Live,” which was a mid-tour addition, is out again.

“The Archer,” “the 1,” “the last great american dynasty,” “'tis the damn season” and “tolerate it” were removed as well. As a friend of mine pointed out, “tolerate it” had previously been Swift's “act it out with props” song, but now that TTPD gave us a bed and dueling typewriters, it would be redundant staging.

New outfits

So. Many. New. Outfits. Though, some are repeat cuts in new colors, and she seems to have stayed loyal to the designers who helped her craft each era.

The Lover bodysuit, boots and blazer were re-created in a pink/orange ombré.

She sang the Fearless portion in a silver dress reminiscent of one she'd worn on the Fearless tour.

There's a new bodysuit for Red and her Not a Lot Going on at the Moment shirt said “This Is Not Taylor's Version,” which some fans have taken as a clue about something, but could also just be a reference to this iconic video:

“Enchanted” dress? New.

(And very hard to get a clear picture of, I'm sorry!)

Folkmore dress? The same style as her white dress, but in yellow.

Acoustic set? New style, and in pink.

Midnights bodysuit? New! Custom Zuhair Murad.

“WHAT ABOUT REP???” I hear you scream and cry from the floor. It did not change. It is the one outfit that has not changed ever during the tour, and as my same smart friend theorized, she'll probably change it once she releases Reputation (Taylor's Version) . (The only other album she has yet to re-record is her first, which doesn't have a designated spot in the concert.)

For the TTPD set, Taylor wore a white marching band-style jacket and Vivienne Westwood gown with lyrics on it and choker over a sparkly black two-piece.

For 1989 , which had previously been various color-co-ordinated fringe-beaded sets, she debuted a pink bra/blue skirt combo (with one pink shoe and one blue shoe) that more directly evoked the outfits of the 1989 tour.

It's custom Roberto Cavalli. And it gave us this incredible meme:

(Sorry, but it is Photoshopped; Chipette Brittany's outfit is pink-on-pink . Still funny though!)

Misc. Americana

They updated the merch and posters and stuff . Since Swift's pal Camila Cabello just released a new song, it's now on the pre-show playlist. There's a new intro to “Enchanted” with ballet dancers and a new snake visual during Rep .

Also, unrelated to TTPD , Swift's team put up these signs reminding security guards not to manhandle her fans, which is sweet!

TBT to “Stop! She wasn't doing anything!”

Swift will be touring Europe through the end of August, take September off, and then return for shows in North America before Eras concludes on December 8.

The average Taylor Swift concert used to be around 2 hours long but The Eras Tour is a whole different beast... The concert is a whopping 3 hours and 15 minutes long, and Taylor performs a huge 45 tracks within that timeframe.

Not all the tracks are performed in full – some are shortened versions. There's also a couple of additional little interludes that pop up throughout the show.

For context, on the Rep tour, Taylor performed 19 tracks in total, including several mashups that featured some of her older songs. For The 1989 World Tour, she performed 18 songs, while 17 songs were performed on The Red Tour and the Speak Now World Tour.

What surprise songs has Taylor Swift performed?

Taylor has 'reset' the surprise song list, which means anyone attending a show in 2024 can anticipate hearing a song she's already performed. She previously stated that she will only play each surprise song once during the tour, unless she messes one up.

There's also no rules for Taylor repeating songs from Midnights as surprise songs, which means fans may get to hear the likes of 'You're On Your Own Kid' and 'Snow on the Beach' again at some point in the future.

We'll update this article with every Surprise Acoustic Song – and every surprise song that she will play again – after every show.

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist to include The Tortured Poets Department?

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist?

Aside from a few song changes, the Eras Tour setlist remained the same throughout the 2023 shows and every show up until the release of 'The Tortured Poets Department'. During the first Paris show in May 2024, Taylor changed the order of the setlist, removed six songs and added seven new ones from 'TTPD'.

Fans attending the European shows might end up hearing Taylor perform ' Castles Crumbling ' with Hayley Williams at some point, as Paramore will be supporting her throughout those tour dates. Unlike Phoebe Bridgers and HAIM, who joined Taylor on stage to perform 'Nothing New' and 'No Body, No Crime' respectively on the nights they were support acts, a 'Castles Crumbling' duet might be more likely to appear as a surprise song.

Taylor will finish her European leg in London in August 2024, before returning to North America in November 2024. It's possible that she may make more changes to the final leg of the show.

What are Taylor's most performed songs on tour?

Before she embarked on The Eras Tour, Taylor’s top 3 most performed songs are ‘Love Story’ (491 times), ‘Our Song’ (404 times) and ‘You Belong With Me’ (381 times).

Of course, almost all of Taylor’s most performed songs are from her first two albums. As the list goes on, the 'Speak Now' bops, 'Red' bangers and '1989' hits start to weave their way in.

If you’re wondering what Taylor’s most played songs from her first five albums are, here’s a break down:

  • Taylor Swift : ‘Our Song’, ‘Tim McGraw’ and ‘Picture To Burn’
  • Fearless: ‘Love Story’, ‘You Belong With Me’ and ‘Fifteen’
  • Speak Now : ‘Sparks Fly’, ‘Mean’ and ‘Mine’
  • Red : ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and ‘Red’
  • 1989 : ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Out of the Woods’

Taylor has only had the chance to perform songs from Reputation on the Reputation Stadium Tour so far, but ‘Ready For It?’, ‘Delicate’ and ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ take the top spots when it comes to live performances of the Rep tracks.

Due to the cancellation of Lover Fest, Taylor hasn’t been able to perform Lover on a tour setting. Folklore, Evermore and Midnights will also be making their tour debut on the Eras Tour.

Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift ‘s Eras Tour is finally here.

The 52-date trek kicks off Friday night in Glendale, Ariz., at State Farm Stadium with openers Gayle and Paramore. This marks Swift’s first tour since the Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018, as her 2020 Lover Fest was canceled before it even began due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Swift has released three studio albums — “Folklore” and “Evermore” in 2020 and “Midnights” in October 2022 — in addition to re-recording “Fearless” and “Red” (which both came with bonus tracks) in 2021.

Your Complete Guide to the Eras Tour Set List — Including the Changes For the Movie

Image of POPSUGAR Team

The first leg of Taylor Swift ‘s Eras Tour ended this August, but fans get to relive the magic of the show thanks to  the Eras Tour film . In the movie, released Oct. 13 in theaters worldwide, fans can experience Swift’s live show on the big screen (and tickets are a lot cheaper).

During the tour, which started back in March, Swift has sampled songs from throughout her career. While fans always knew her set list was never going to be able to include the entirety of her vast catalog, the musician did her best to give fans a song from almost every one of her eras. Only  her debut album, “Taylor Swift,”  didn’t get its own official section of the set list. Swift revealed the imminent arrival of  “1989 (Taylor’s Version),”  which will be released Oct. 27.

And if the Swifties in your life seem a little intense about deciphering clues in the set list and Swift’s tour outfits, you can’t blame them.  The Grammy winner  has a proven record of dropping clues for her fans to find. For example, on Aug. 9 she debuted new blue versions of  her Eras Tour costumes  to celebrate the “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” reveal at the end of the show. And earlier in the tour, Swift removed “Invisible String” — which is believed to be about boyfriend Joe Alwyn — from her set list days before  news broke that the pair had split .

As you head to the Eras Tour film, we’ve rounded up every track she’s performed during the Eras Tour so far, organised by album. That includes surprise songs and  special guests like Phoebe Bridgers , Ice Spice, HAIM, and Maren Morris.

Ahead, check out all of the songs Swift has played on her Eras Tour. Including each set list change and surprise track.

Taylor Swift has restructured her Eras Tour. Is this the show we'll see in Indianapolis?

Portrait of Katie Wiseman

At her first show in Paris, France, Taylor Swift had many surprises in store for fans: New outfits, set transitions and most noticeably, a new setlist.

It is assumed this will be the setlist used throughout the rest of the tour, which means Indianapolis may be seeing this version of the Eras Tour in November as opposed to the version she did on the first leg of her North American tour (but don't worry, it will forever be immortalized in the movie experience on Disney+ ).

Here's everything you need to know.

Did Taylor Swift change her setlist?

Yes. At her show in Paris, France, the first show after the release of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department (or TTPD, for short), a live stream revealed that she changed up the setlist .

Fans were surprised she changed up the order of the different eras of her music as well as the addition of the newest era, TTPD.

Of course, to make room for the new section of the show, some cuts were made.

She removed "The Archer" from the "Lover" section, she removed "Long Live," from the "Speak Now" section, she combined the "Evermore" and "Folklore" sets to save time and removed "the 1," "tolerate it," "'tis the damn season" and "the last great american dynasty."

TTPD: Taylor Swift lyric draws backlash for reference to the 1830s. Here's what people are saying

When is Taylor Swift coming to Indy?

Taylor Swift  announced in August  she is bringing her "Eras Tour" to Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium for three nights, Nov. 1, 2 and 3.

How to get Taylor Swift tickets for Indianapolis?

You may still have a chance to see the Eras Tour in November.

Ticket sales through Ticketmaster are officially over, however, several marked-up tickets are still available for the Indianapolis shows on re-selling sites like  StubHub  and  SeatGeek .

If you're still hoping to get tickets, they may be costly. Most tickets are priced are anywhere from $1,500 to almost $3,000 each, and the cheapest tickets are for seats near the top of the bowl.
