Viking Ocean Cruise-significant savings using Pavlus

We booked our first Viking Ocean cruise through Pavlus. We just completed the trip in May and it was a very good experience. We worked with Taylor at Pavlus and she answered all our questions in an honest and straight forward manner right away. They were easy to communicate with by email and phone. It was nice to be able to get questions answered and not wait forever on hold like we did with another huge travel company. We definitely saved a lot of money by using Pavlus and the onboard ship credits were a big plus. They even paid me a referral fee when my sister booked the same trip with us. I will definitely be using them again.

Tracey from Pavlus truly listened: Result- a Great Trip!

Tracey from Pavlus truly listened to what, where and when we wanted to travel. As a result, we recently returned from a Regency Seven Seas Navigator, all inclusive cruise from Bali to Bangkok. Tracey helped us to secure all of the necessary travel documents for this part of the world, made sure we have a great suite location on the ship. She also checked to make sure that our first/business class travel to and from the ship was well organized. As a result the entire trip was interesting, enjoyable and hastle free.

Rose Morrissey, your travel agent

Your agent, Rose Morrissey Palvus Travel accused me of ordering the travel insurance at the end of 2023 She charged my account $599 plus a $25 deposit. She accused I ordered her to buy insurance. My cruise is in March 2026, why I will buy my insurance from her because I always buy my travel insurance for a whole year. I am a frequent traveler. I don't remember I called her to pay my $25 deposit plus Insurance. I emailed to pay my $25 deposit for March 2026 river cruise. She said after I bought it, it was not refundable. Does it make sense I buy insurance almost three years ahead before my departure? I never do that. She said she is asking management to call me I doubt someone will contact me. Will Craig Pavlus look into this case and solve it? My booking #7857343. My first billing statement showed I declined the insurance protection plan. She charged my account on 12/15/2023 for $624 ($599 insurance plus $25 deposit) I need my $599 insurance reimbursement. I have photocopies ready to submit and proof of my request. Sicily is beautiful

This is our third Globus trip and it was fantastic. Our tour guide, Errica, was amazing, funny and knowledgeable. Sicily was more beautiful than we expected. The transportation and driver (Salvatore) was excellent. Hotels were near everything and the included dinners and entertainment were awesome.

I have used Pavlus for over 20 years

I have used Pavlus for over 20 years. My daughters and some friends do as well. The referral bonus is great, but I just want others to get the service I do. Lauren is very responsive and during busy times gets back to me. I find the best way to use an agent is search and find the itinerary you want using other sites with good options like vacationstogo.com, but don't book with them. Call your agent and say this is where, when and the cruise line I want, saves both of you a lot of time. I like Celebrity, Holland America, NCL and Princes having done 26 cruises. Also use U-Tube and watch Don's family vacations and La Lido Loca for tips and helpful info. Always fly into the departure port the day before. Insurance is important, especially if you have health issues.

Pavlus is a very professional agency. They have several departments to handle the various phases of the reservation & follow-up process. And receiving a cash back after the trip is very welcomed. Professional from top to bottom!

Disastrous Excursion Experience with Pavlus

I can't believe the terrible experience we had with Pavlus. We were so excited to book excursions for our cruise through them, but they ended up canceling our plans without any warning or explanation. As if that wasn't bad enough, when we tried to rebook directly with the cruise line, we were placed on such a low waitlist that it was guaranteed we'd never get the excursions we wanted.

It's incredibly frustrating that Pavlus not only ruined our original plans but also left us in a situation where we're unlikely to enjoy the activities we were looking forward to the most. The lack of communication and the subsequent disappointment have left a sour taste in our mouths. I would strongly advise against using Pavlus for travel arrangements, as they seem to disregard their customers' experiences or satisfaction.

The agent would not respond

I tried for about a week to reserve an excursion on the river for four people. The agent would not respond to messages or phone calls. Avoid wasting your time with these people.

The problem was addressed

When the flight we were planning to take to the cruise ship was canceled as it was feared we'd not be able to enjoy the long-awaited trip. However, Pavlus Travel and Lee Alvarez were involved and took the issue to Regent management. The problem was addressed, after which we could take the flight to the cruise liner in time, from utter frustration to awed clients of Pavlus.

We've traveled with Pavlus many times and have always been satisfied with our overall experience. Their customer service is fantastic! The staff has provided the highest customer support in every department we have to deal with. They have the correct answers or where to find the answers. They're always friendly and friendly. The Pavlus representative, Dianne Kincaid, has helped us navigate the many twisting traveling routes and assured us that our experience was the most enjoyable she could make it.

We scheduled the Alaskan Tour through Pavlus just before COVID. The tour was canceled, and we were able to reschedule for this summer in 2022. We've been calling and emailing for months to reserve our flights and make a final installment for the trip. The management recently told us that they would ensure that the agent we spoke to returned calls. It was about last week. We will never again use this company for holiday and travel requirements. Update: Company reached out after my review of one star to rectify the issue. I've updated my review from one star to two and will update as I go. I hope they will transform this issue into an optimistic one.

When it’s time for Pam Chavez , an 18-year veteran of Pavlus Travel , to head out and explore the world, the expert travel advisor loves visiting Italy, Ireland and Peru . Why those destinations in particular? She sums it up succinctly: “The beauty, the people, the history and the food.”

As for her professional career, she’s spent 35 years working in the travel industry. Twelve of those years were in corporate travel before arriving at Pavlus. So, she’s an expert at many types of travel arrangements. Today, she works remotely in  Albuquerque, NM, for the full-service travel agency .

Her specialty is helping consumers plan a luxury tour or luxury cruise vacation. Chavez tells The Meandering Traveler that she handles many bookings for such upscale brands as Tauck, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises , along with other luxury options. First up, Chavez says she’d like to head out on Tauck’s 13-day “ Essence of Japan. ” This escorted land tour is available both as a classic tour and also as a small group option. Certainly, in 2023, travelers are making travel a priority. They’re hoping to check off many bucket-list adventures.
