It’s hard to believe that Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is coming to an end. Soon, Swift will hit the stage for her final concerts in the U.S. as well as some shows in Canada in the middle of October.

Swift’s final stops include Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto and Vancouver. The concerts will be here before you know it and you can still get your seats to what will probably be the biggest concerts of the tour. Bid farewell to The Eras Tour and get a seat to any of the concerts on major third-party ticket websites like SeatGeek , Vivid Seats , StubHub , Viagogo , TicketCity and Ticketmaster .

Seats are in high demand as Swift concludes the tour, so if you haven’t seen her yet or want to experience The Eras Tour again, get tickets today.

Oasis reunion latest: Ticket details for 14 shows with more planned - as hotel prices shoot up

Oasis, the biggest British guitar band of the last 30 years, are reforming after feuding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher made peace. They'll play 14 UK shows next summer, with tickets going on sale on Saturday. Leave your thoughts on the news below.

It's confirmed, Oasis are getting back together - all that remains is the scramble for tickets on Saturday and to see whether the feuding brothers get to next summer without falling out.

Scroll through this blog for all the reaction to the Gallagher brothers' reunion - as well as our posts looking at why it's happening now, snobbishness about who gets tickets, and who else could be in the band.

It was the announcement everyone expected, but there are still plenty of unanswered questions surrounding the Oasis reunion.

After years of exchanging insults, some joking but some deadly serious, the Gallagher brothers deciding to appear on stage together again is huge - but the statement announcing their comeback does not reveal how and why they finally kissed and made up.

"The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."

This was the official statement from Oasis confirming the reunion. Further details said there was "no great revelatory moment", but rather "the gradual realisation that the time is right". This is it as far as it goes when it comes to addressing their infamous fall-out.

There is no real acknowledgement of the fact they haven't been on speaking terms for years. We want to know who reached out first? How did they finally come to an agreement? And what did their mum, Peggy, have to say about her sons finally getting their acts together?

It will be interesting to see if Liam and Noel reveal all this publicly further down the line, or whether they keep the details private.

Fans will be hoping the friendship is there behind the music. For now, though, the priority is joining that virtual ticket queue on Saturday morning.

Read our full analysis here...

Oasis's popularity means they can "essentially charge what they want" for their reunion shows, an author who wrote a book about their stratospheric rise in the 1990s has said.

Richard Bowes, author of Some Might Say: The Definitive Story Of Oasis, told Sky News tickets will likely be "upwards of about £100".

"They're in a position now where the demand is so big and so huge, the anticipation so much, that they can essentially charge what they want," he said.

"One would hope that it'll be for the fans and... prices for the fans would be realistic. There's a lot of dates, there's a lot of money to be made, so hopefully it won't be too expensive."

Mr Bowes said the 14 dates announced for 2025 could be just the "first batch" of shows, with more potentially to come.

Saturday's rush for tickets is also likely to "crash" the websites, he added.

However, despite a reunion being pretty set in stone, he said it "doesn't quite feel real" and Oasis fans will "believe it when they see it, when we see Liam and Noel walking out on stage together".

The record executive who discovered Oasis says the band's reunion is "good for music".

Alan McGee signed the rock band to his label, Creation Records, after unwittingly watching them perform at the bottom of a bill in Glasgow in 1993.

Sharing the news of their reunion on Instagram, Mr McGee said it was "good for music, good for them, good for us".

Some have accused the Gallagher brothers' worldwide tour of being a mere "cash grab", while there are debates in some corners of the internet over what constitutes a "proper" Oasis fan when it comes to who should get tickets (we delved into this more in our 7.05 post).

Weighing in on the issue, Stan Collymore, whose fame and off-field lifestyle led to him and Liverpool teammates being labelled the Spice Boys in the 1990s, said he doesn't "get the spite".

"Youngsters will want to see them because their mum and dad told them they were their generation's Beatles and those my age will want to see them again because of that impact," he said in a lengthy post on X.

Collymore said Oasis did not just provide "really good rock music" but "defined a time and a place" during the 1990s - a decade full of memorable British sporting moments, the explosion of Britpop and British fashion becoming "cool" again for the first time in decades.

"It all exploded and Oasis were in the middle of it. That's why so many people have wanged on about reunions as if it's a second coming and why their kids now think it is," he said.

"Anyone would be a fool to not acknowledge (especially those who lived through it) their cultural significance," he went on to say.

"They were a part of what reinvented British cool after years of industry decline, unemployment, sporting decline and a nation ill at ease with itself.

"It was really f***ing cool to watch football, watch live music, dress in trendy British designers and feel a part of the centre of the universe. That's what people are tapping into, a time when to be British was to be cool again. Not sure why anyone, whether you like Oasis or not, are pissing on that."

We now know Oasis are set to return, with plans to play a record-breaking 10 shows at Wembley.

The gigs will make history – just as the band did with their shows at Knebworth back in 1996.

It was perhaps the most audacious event in British music history: two gigs, 250,000 people, from a band just shy of marking two years since the release of their debut album.

In that time,  Oasis  had pretty much bypassed mid-size venues, progressing from small clubs straight to stadiums, to hosting Britpop's biggest party at a stately home in Hertfordshire. "This is history,"  Noel Gallagher  famously told the Knebworth crowd. "Right here, right now, this is history."

The tickets were £22.50 and the line-up included The Prodigy, Manic Street Preachers, The Chemical Brothers and The Charlatans, depending on which night you were there.

An estimated 2.5 million-plus people applied to go, breaking box office records, and the stories from the shows are the stuff of music legend: the helicopter arrival, Liam Gallagher’s golf buggy joyride, the celebs mingling backstage; Mick Hucknall, for some reason, the one that everyone seems to have a tale about.

But the real story of that weekend is that of the band's unique relationship with the fans, says Jake Scott, who directed the Oasis Knebworth 1996 documentary, released in 2021.

You can read our full feature on the Knebworth gigs  here ...

Plenty of you have been getting in touch with us today to let us know what you think about the Oasis comeback news.

It's fair to say the vast majority of you are excited - although some aren't convinced...

Oasis always had their detractors but for a kid growing up in the mid 90s they were inspirational. How many teenagers were inspired to pick up a guitar and learn Wonderwall? Or Roll With It? No guitar band since has had such an impact. I can't wait to see them back on stage. Jack, St Albans
I love the music of Oasis, would feel very lucky to be able to purchase tickets to the Wembley gig, I am 72 and my husband 78 would love to go out on a high with one of the world's best.  Olive Johnson
People forget how exciting and fresh they were, how important they were to that generation. It got tired, the bickering became boring, but the songs have lasted, and 15 years is just the right amount of time for it to feel exciting again.  Debs
I am a 44-year-old man, I have just been crying. Soundtrack to my life...PRAYING FOR TICKETS ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!  Andy
This is the best news I have had in 15 years music-wise, I followed them all over the world to watch them, missed two gigs on their last tour but do we think they will make all 15 gigs without a fallout?  All around the world is where I went
Banging. Waited all my life for this. This is the biggest thing in music in years. I'm buzzing. Come on, ya know.  yorkster
Greatest band to have ever lived, live forever. Jimmy Misk
I'm delighted for Peggy [the Gallaghers' mum]. Markser1
I hope the Gallaghers will remember their working class roots and will not be charging ridiculous prices for tickets…🤞 #PaulHeaton… BAM67

And one slightly less enthused reader...

Yawnathon. Nothing but Beatles karaoke. Nope. Lee

By Jenness Mitchell , Scotland reporter

Those hoping to secure tickets to the shows at Murrayfield Stadium on 8 and 9 August 2025 should budget for potentially eye-watering accommodation costs if staying in the Scottish capital for the gigs.

It comes amid continuing complaints this year that performers and visitors faced being priced out of staying in Edinburgh during the city's busy festival season - with comedian Jason Manford branding the costs an "absolute joke".

Oasis fans planning on travelling to and from Edinburgh via train should also prepare for potential transport problems.

While ScotRail arranged additional carriages and late-night services during Taylor Swift's Murrayfield shows and Foo Fighters's Hampden Park gig in June, the publicly owned rail operator was not able to provide extra services after TRNSMT last month amid a row over pay.

Due to the temporary reduced timetable, those attending the popular Glasgow music festival would either have had to leave the event early to make their last train home or arrange alternative travel plans.

Oasis's Edinburgh dates have already raised eyebrows online, with a number of memes suggesting the city's landlords and hotels will rake in a fortune.

One woman wrote on X: "Oasis in Murrayfield during August - it's going to be gridlock with the Edinburgh festival in full swing. Good luck getting a reasonably priced room for the night."

Another added: "Who told the Oasis lads that gigs in Edinburgh in August was a good idea? The city is already over full and impossibly expensive at that time of year."

One man said fans will "need to take out a mortgage to get a hotel room", while another noted the potential train problems, saying: "Someone should set up a film crew on a ScotRail train on 8 and 9 August and make a powerful documentary."

A woman warned that ScotRail "better pull their finger out", while another X user added: "Oasis playing Murrayfield two nights in a row in August 2025... during the very busy festival season. What could possibly go wrong?! Will one year to plan be enough time?"

Unless you've stayed away from the internet all day, you'll know by now that Oasis have announced a major 2025 comeback tour, including 14 UK and Ireland dates.

The band are heading to Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin next July and August.

Fans are being urged to sign up to official ticket agents ahead of time, with websites expected to be "very busy" during the sale.

Tickets are released this weekend - here's everything you need to know...

Tickets for Oasis's reunion shows will go on sale on Saturday at 8am in Ireland and 9am in the UK .

There's been no mention yet of a presale, although the official Oasis website says any details of one would be "communicated through the artist's social media platforms".

Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster UK, Gigs and Tours and SEE Tickets for the Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh gigs.

Gigs in Scotland will also sell tickets for the Edinburgh shows only, while tickets for the Dublin shows will be available from Ticketmaster's Ireland site .

Restrictions

Sales are limited to  four per household, per show , and fans are warned that only tickets purchased through approved sites will be valid.

Under-14s are not allowed general admission (standing) tickets for any of the shows. Venues have varying rules for seated tickets:

Oasis reforming is the talk of social media - here's some of our favourite tweets so far - and just to say, you'll need to click on the tweet to fully appreciate the final one...

Burton cummings of the guess who is on tour. what do tickets cost.

Burton Cummings rocks out with his guitar in hand.

The music industry is notorious for chewing talented performers up and spitting them out.

Only the most grizzled warriors perform for decades; even fewer stick around for 50 years.

Then there’s Burton Cummings of The Guess Who.

In 2025, the legendary Canadian singer-songwriter — who brought the world “These Eyes,” “American Woman,” “No Sugar Tonight,” “Laughing,” “No Time” and so many more hits — will celebrate his 60th (!) year in the biz with a tour of North America .

That includes shows at Collingswood, NJ’s Scottish Rite Auditorium on Friday, Oct. 4 and Westbury, NY’s Westbury Music Fair on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

“We’re comin’ back for rock ‘n roll,” the 76-year-old shared on Instagram . “I’ll be singing my solo songs, I’ll be singing my Guess Who songs and we’ll be rockin’.”

If you want to see the classic rock icon live, tickets are available for all 41 of his ’60th Anniversary Hits Tour.’

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $32 before fees on Vivid Seats.

For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Burton Cummings’ 2024 tour below.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Burton Cummings tour schedule 2024-25

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found here:

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are in US dollars, subject to fluctuation and, if it isn’t noted, will include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Still curious about Vivid Seats? You can find an article from their team about why the company is legit here .

Randy Bachman tour schedule

Cummings isn’t the only Guess Who alum on the road this year.

From August through November, Randy Bachman will be hitting venues all over the U.S. with his other group, Bachman-Turner Overdrive .

If you want to see him live — he’s coming to Atlantic City (Sept. 13), Port Chester (Sept. 16), Carteret (Sept. 17) and Staten Island (Sept. 20) — you can find Bachman’s complete 2024 tour schedule here .

Burton Cummings set list

As you may recall, Cummings claimed he’s bringing Guess Who and solo songs to the stage on tour.

For a closer look at what that means, here’s a peek at what the Canadian icon performed at a recent gig in Vancouver, courtesy of Set List FM .

01.) “Runnin’ Back to Saskatoon” (The Guess Who song) 02.) “Clap for the Wolfman” (The Guess Who song) 03.) “Hand Me Down World” (The Guess Who song) 04.) “Laughing” (The Guess Who song) 05.) “Albert Flasher” (The Guess Who song) 06.) “My Own Way to Rock” 07.) “These Eyes” (The Guess Who song) 08.) “Baby, Come Back” (The Equals cover) 09.) “Your Back Yard” 10.) “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” (Bob Dylan cover) 11.) “Break It to Them Gently” 12.) “American Woman” (The Guess Who song) 13.) “No Time” (The Guess Who song) Encore

14.) “No Sugar Tonight / New Mother Nature” (The Guess Who song) 15.) “Share the Land”

Classic rockers on tour in 2024

As rare as it is for performers to keep going four, five or six decades into their careers, quite a few are still plodding away like Cummings.

Here are just five of our favorites you won’t want to miss live these next few months.

Oasis adds 3 shows to its 2025 tour as fans clamor for tickets to Gallagher brothers' reunion

Oasis has added three more dates to its reunion tour of Britain and Ireland, citing “unprecedented demand” for tickets

LONDON — Oasis has added three more dates to its reunion tour of Britain and Ireland, citing “unprecedented demand,” as fans of the Britpop behemoths braced for a rush to secure tickets that start at about 74 pounds (just under $100).

The new shows announced Thursday are at Heaton Park in the band’s home city of Manchester, England on July 16, 2025, at London’s Wembley Stadium on July 30 and at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on Aug. 12.

Oasis is now scheduled to play 17 gigs — its first shows for 15 years — in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin starting at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4.

Oasis was one of the dominant British acts of the 1990s, producing hits including “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” Its sound was fueled by singalong rock choruses and the combustible chemistry between guitarist-songwriter Noel Gallagher and his brother Liam, the band’s singer.

Oasis split in 2009, with Noel Gallagher quitting the band after a backstage dustup with his brother at a festival near Paris. Noel told the AP in a 2011 interview that he left after an incident in which younger brother Liam started wielding a guitar “like an axe ... and he’s swinging this guitar around and he kind of you know, he took my face off with it, you know?”

While the Gallagher brothers, now aged 57 and 51, haven’t performed together since, both regularly perform Oasis songs at their solo gigs. They’ve also each fired off criticisms of the other in the press.

Announcing the reunion on Tuesday, the band said fans would experience “the spark and intensity” that occurs only when they appear on stage together.

The tour will begin July 4 and 5 at the Principality Stadium. Oasis will also perform in Manchester, on July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20; in London on July 25, 26 and 30 and Aug. 2 and 3; in Edinburgh on Aug. 8, 9 and 12; and Croke Park in Dublin on Aug. 16 and 17.

The band said there are plans for Oasis to perform in “other continents outside of Europe later next year.” It scotched rumors Oasis would headline next year’s Glastonbury festival, saying no festival dates were planned.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 8 a.m. (0700GMT, 3 a.m. EDT) in Ireland and an hour later in the U.K. Fans were also able to apply for a presale ballot to be held on Friday. It’s unclear how many tickets will be issued through the ballot.

Prices for the London, Cardiff and Edinburgh concerts range from about 74 pounds ($97) to just over 200 pounds ($260) for seats, and about 150 pounds (about $200) to stand. In Manchester, the cheapest tickets are 148 pounds ($195) to stand, with no seated option.

The costliest option is a 506-pound ($666) package for the London gigs that includes a pre-show party, admission to an Oasis exhibition, souvenirs and a “premium collectible item.”

Irish promoter MCD says tickets for the Dublin shows will start at 86.50 euros ($96) plus booking fee.

'Ferrari' Review: Penélope Cruz Dominates Michael Mann’s Biopic

The Big Picture

  • Ferrari transcends the traditional biopic, offering an introspective ook at Enzo Ferrari's life, making it both heartbreaking and delightful.
  • The film captures the dangerous and addictive nature of racing, with remarkable scenes on the racetrack that showcase the excitement and risks racers face.
  • Penelope Cruz delivers a powerhouse performance as Laura Ferrari, commanding every scene she's in and possibly delivering the best performance of her career.

Before the climactic 1957 Mille Miglia race near the end of Michael Mann ’s Ferrari , the company’s racing team each leaves letters to their loved ones in case they don’t make it through the finish line. Earlier on in the film, Adam Driver ’s Enzo Ferrari tells these same racers that they should be willing to die to win for the Ferrari brand, and as a former racer himself, the company’s owner calls racing a “terrible joy.” Throughout Ferrari , Mann and the script by the late Troy Kennedy Martin (1969’s The Italian Job ), frequently equate racing to war—which makes sense considering Italy and its people are still reckoning with the pains of World War II. The Ferrari family is still grieving the losses of their past, the choices that were made, and the understanding that they’ll never be the same again. By making Ferrari less of a sports film and more of an introspective look at the car creator, Mann has ended up making a fantastic war film, and his best work since 2004’s Collateral .

Set in the summer of 1957, with Enzo Ferrari's auto empire in crisis, the ex-racer turned entrepreneur pushes himself and his drivers to the edge as they launch into the Mille Miglia, a treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy.

What Is 'Ferrari' About?

Ferrari begins with its title character leaving the bed of Lina Lardi ( Shailene Woodley ), whom he met during the war and has a child with. Ferrari rolls his car out of the driveway, in order to not wake them up, before speeding back home to his wife, Laura Ferrari ( Penélope Cruz ), who is furious and before long, is shooting a gun at her husband. After this, Enzo starts every day going to the mausoleum to see his son Dino, who died a year before. He admits that he hears ghosts: his father, friends, and family—they stay in his head at all times. From there, Enzo states, “I go to deal with today.”

Primarily, this means trying to keep Ferrari afloat. The company isn’t building enough cars, and he needs outside finance or they’re going to go out of business. While Ferrari complains that his rivals—particularly Maserati—only want to race to sell cars, as a former driver, that’s where Ferrari’s passion lies, saying that he sells cars to race. Enzo’s goal is to win the Mille Miglia with his racing team which includes Alfonso de Portago ( Gabriel Leone ), Peter Collins ( Jack O’Connell ), and Piero Taruffi ( Patrick Dempsey ). With Enzo’s business in trouble, his racing prospects questionable, and him being torn between Lina and Laura, Ferrari captures a period of Enzo’s life that is integral not only on a personal level but to the world of racing and cars in general.

Mann mostly keeps Ferrari off the racetrack, but when he does get behind the wheel, the results are remarkable. The Mille Miglia is captured with all the lunacy and surprises that show how dangerous this undertaking truly is. Racers crash, then hop into other people’s cars, abandoning their wreckage; thousands of people gather and wait around blind corners, waiting for a glimpse of the race; and the entirety of Italy seems to stand still for this massive competition. This race also includes one of the most harrowing and shocking sequences in Mann’s filmography and shows the horrifying risk that these racers accept every time they get into their cars. Mann excels here in making us understand just how exciting and addictive racing can be, before pulling the rug out from under us to show us how badly it truly can get.

'Ferrari' Is at Its Best Off the Race Track

Yet Ferrari is even more compelling when dealing with Enzo and his loves : Lina, whom he wants to be with and wants to give her son his name, and Laura, who is both brilliant, terrifying, and whom he’s still at least somewhat passionate about. Woodley as Lina has the unfortunate task of playing the more caring, less dynamic one of these loves, but she does the best with what she’s given—despite the occasional dropping of the accent altogether. Driver is quite good as Ferrari, able to play heartbroken one moment, then controlling and powerful the next. At times, Mann frames him from behind, with his gray hair and presence that can’t help but remind of Robert De Niro in Heat . Driver is playing to his strengths here, and it’s easy to see parts of his Marriage Story , House of Gucci , and even his Girls performances within his Enzo Ferrari.

But the true powerhouse of Ferrari is Penélope Cruz, who commands every single scene she’s in. She’s electric to watch, and even when the film is enamored with the big race, the audience wants to be back with her on the sidelines. Cruz’s Laura Ferrari is a whirlwind of grief, righteous anger, jealousy, and absolute power. No matter how much power Enzo has, Laura knows how to wield her influence. She is the true mastermind behind keeping the company afloat, even when her actions might seem shocking. Cruz’s performance isn’t just the highlight of Mann’s film, it’s also possibly the best performance of her career .

Michael Mann Is Able to Transcend Bland Biopics With 'Ferrari'

By another filmmaker, Ferrari could’ve been a fairly straightforward biopic , but the ways that Mann reflects on the past—without focusing too much on it in a direct way—makes Ferrari more than just a by-the-numbers look at Enzo’s life. For example, in one scene that takes place at an opera house, we reflect on the wartime past of Enzo, Laura, and Lina. For Enzo and Lina, we understand how just destruction and pain could easily lead to their love. For Laura, we see just how much she’s lost, as she reflects on her happy but simple life with Enzo and Dino. The joy of the sequence reminds us that this is what Laura is fighting to get back to, but also what she’s mourning having lost. It’s understanding that the past defines who we become that makes Mann and Martin’s film so effective.

But Mann also makes Ferrari a film about our uncontrollable passions and the things that drive us, even when we know they’re dangerous for us and others —be it getting behind the wheel of a car and driving 100+ miles an hour, or incidentally hurting the one you love because you found someone else. Mann and Martin together turn Ferrari into a film about desperately wanting what you can’t have. For Laura Ferrari, it’s a desire to turn back time, to have the husband and son that she loves dearly. With Lina, it’s the focus of Enzo and the desire for her and her child to be widely understood as part of his lineage. Whereas while Enzo wants it all—love, success, a great race—what he wants most is gone and buried, which he reminds himself of every day. Mann ends up making like a race that no one gets out of unscathed and no one truly wins.

From the gorgeous cinematography by Erik Messerschmidt , the mesmerizing Daniel Pemberton score, a towering performance by Cruz, and Martin’s screenplay that reflects as much on Enzo’s insular battles as well as his public ones in equal measure, Ferrari is one of Mann’s best film in years. Ferrari isn’t just an impactful look at grief, it’s also Mann having a hell of a lot of fun. Ferrari constantly shows us the highs and lows of every day, and how we must take the good with the band, and Mann does that by making this both heartbreaking and delightful in equal measure. In the end, Mann gives us a film that feels like a terrible joy.
