Second annual Jolly Safari and Safari Lights at Animal EDventure

jolly safari adventure

Photos by Animal EDventure Park & Safari.

Get ready for a holiday Animal EDventure.

Animal EDventure of Boynton Beach will hold its second annual Jolly Safari Guided Walking Tour and Safari Lights Walking Tour to celebrate the season and help rescued animals. Both events are held on Animal EDventure’s private property at 8545 U.S. Highway 441 in Boynton Beach, separate from the Animal EDventure Park near Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market.

Animal EDventure is a family-run business that rescues and adopts animals. Animal EDventure tours allow people to get up close and personal to meet and learn about the animals.

The holiday-themed Jolly Safari tour with Santa, his elves and amazing animals continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday through Jan. 2, as well as during days Palm Beach and Broward schools are closed.

Visitors can enjoy the Winter Wonderland, play in the snow, and take photos with Santa and his elves. Santa’s Workshop offers the opportunity to feed sheep and goats. Sloth Encounters and Kangaroo Encounters also are available.

Reservations for the Jolly Safari are required. Admission is $25; children under 2 are free.

Admission is $20; children under 2 are free. Parking is $3, cash only.

Both walking tours can be booked by texting 561-350-6948, or reserve the Jolly Safari at animaledventures.com/events or the Safari Lights at animaledventures.com/safari-lights .

Animal EDventure started in 2010 with the rescue of a horse named Kona from an abusive owner. Kona remains a focal point of the park. The animals appear at the park for just a few hours every Saturday and Sunday because their 8.5-acre home is elsewhere in Boynton Beach.

Key Tips for Naming Your Zoo

Naming your zoo is an important step. It sets the tone and helps attract visitors. Here are some key tips to consider:

  • Reflect Your Theme: Choose a name that matches your zoo’s theme or mission. For example, if you focus on African animals, consider names related to the savannah.
  • Keep It Simple: A simple, easy-to-remember name is more likely to stick in people’s minds. Avoid long or complicated words.
  • Be Unique: Research other zoo names to avoid duplicates. A unique name helps you stand out.
  • Consider Your Audience: Think about who will visit your zoo. Names that appeal to children might be playful and fun, while names for adults might be more sophisticated.
  • Check Domain Availability: If you plan to have a website, make sure the domain name is available. This makes it easier for visitors to find you online.
  • Get Feedback: Ask friends, family, or potential visitors for their opinions on your name ideas. They can provide valuable insights.
  • Test for Pronunciation: Ensure the name is easy to pronounce and spell. This helps with word-of-mouth promotion.
  • Think Long-Term: Choose a name that will remain relevant as your zoo grows and evolves. Avoid trendy names that might become outdated.

Film star's unspeakable tragedy when 4 family members died in safari adventure accident

Helena Bonham Carter suffered an incredible tragedy that most of us could not begin to imagine, when four of her family members died while on a safari adventure.

The movie star, who has graced our screens in iconic roles such as Harry Potter , Fight Club and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is honored for her ability to transform into any character from the script, no matter the context. Whether it’s fantasy like Alice in Wonderland or musical horror Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, she has no limits. But the celebrity faced a horror in her own life away from the cameras, when four of Helena Bonham Carter’s family members died in a Safari adventure accident back in 2008.

Helena Bonham Carter’s four cousins died in safari crash

Members of her family were driving across the Savannah, from Botswana to the Madikwe Game Reserve, in South Africa when the accident took place.

The VW Kombi they were travelling in, flipped off the road, as some of Helena Bonham Carter’s relatives were flown from the safari vehicle.

Her cousin, Graham, explained four family members were tragically killed when the minibus veered off the road. His stepfather, Mr Francis Kirkwood, was driving when tragedy struck, and sadly, didn’t make it either.

・ TRAGEDY : Award-winning actor dies just days after movie director’s death – ‘It’s a sad day’

Mr Kirkwood lost control of the minibus after it struck broken glass while driving at 75mph, and the back tire burst.

Seven of the family members were travelling at the time in the remote area of the African bush, and five of them were thrown out during the accident, with four sadly losing their lives.

Friends of the Oscar -winning star said the incident was an ‘appalling tragedy’ when headlines hit the news later.

Khimki is part of the Moscow conurbation, on the banks of the Moscow channel and the Klyazma river, and one of the highest density rate in the region.

Before the city, there were several noble lands, which villages are still exist. During the late 19th century, the site of Khimki station became (and remains) the place of Muscovite dachas. Khimki was granted city status, and the Stariye Khimki development was completed. Since then, development programs have turned the countryside into an important city in the region.

Today, Khimki is not only a residential district, but also an important economic and trade center of the Moscow conurbation.

Districts [ edit ]

  • Stariye Khimki . The main part of the city with Stalinist architecture.

By car [ edit ]

Khimki is accessible by car via Leningradsky Hwy from Moscow. The part of this highway from Moscow till end of Khimki city limits is the busiest road in Russia.

By public transport [ edit ]

By suburban train from Leningradskii station to Khimki station or Levoberegnaya platform (a district on the left bank of Moscow channel).

We took the sunset dolphin and snorkel cruise with Tim and it was absolutely unbelievable! He was a great captain and took us to so many great spots. We saw atleast 30 dolphins, snorkeled and saw rays, and a gorgeous sunset. Will be doing this again when we come back!

jolly safari adventure

Did the three hour dolphin and snorkel ride for $99/person. Originally was supposed to go earlier but they called me the day before and said the weather would be bad and asked if we could postpone it and I am glad we did because the weather was much sunnier and less windy the next day. James did a great job as our captain. It's nice you can bring your own beverages and they have some snacks on board. We drove around key west stopping at a few points, then rode out to an area to snorkel for a bit where we saw tons of sponges and some little fish, and then head back toward Key West, into the marina, and then back to where we started. Honestly, we didn't see any dolphin until we were on our way back in from snorkeling, and it honestly felt like it was just pure luck that we saw one but thank goodness we did since it was the highlight of the safari. The boat was pretty nice and comfortable. There were 6 total people including Captain James. The front is definitely the best place to see things from, so try to get a seat there if you can, even though it's not under the shaded cover part. It's like $112.36 per person after tax/fees plus there's a big sign on the boat guilt tripping you into tipping at least 20%. It's fine because James did a great job and deserved the 20% tip (although if we didn't bump into that dolphin on the way in, I would've felt a bit ripped off for the price), but basically expect to be out over $130 per person for a three hour boat ride. This can get pretty expensive, especially if you have a family, and I would've felt ripped off if we didn't see a dolphin but luckily we did so it was a cool experience that I definitely recommend when the weather is nice, winds are calm. Their website had higher prices in the description than the $99 that was actually charged so I hope they don't raise their prices because that would get kind of expensive. Especially when I was just in Miami and could rent a 13 person yacht for four hours $1300 so $100/person plus tax and tip is about the most I would be willing to pay for this experience, especially since seeing dolphins isn't guaranteed so you are basically just paying for a 3 hour boat ride.

Snorkel area. Water was about 4 feet deep. Beautiful day. Lots of sponges.

We didn't do the actual dolphin safari, but instead used their charters for the Sandbar excursion. Honestly should have still been the dolphin tour for how many dolphins we did see! Absolutely a fantastic excursion with a wonderful captain. Loved being able to go out to the sandbar with the swing and relax in the water. They even gave out some snacks. Coolers are on board for any BYOB. A few slightly shaded seats on board. Can't really ask for more!

We took the 3 hour snorkel and dolphin cruise. The boat was a beautiful, spotless bow rider. The weather was amazing and the ride was gorgeous. But the absolute BEST part of this trip was the captain Jeff! I have to say, he had to be one of the kindest people I have ever meet. Book your trip and tell them you want Jeff's boat!! Thanks Jeff! -Marion and Karen

Best experience ever!! Our family had so much fun! Clean boat. Knowledgeable captain. Highly recommend!

Outstanding trip with the Dolphin Safari crew. We started at the beautiful Perry Hotel in Stock Island. Prior to departure we awaited the boat to arrive while having a lovely adult beverage at The Salty Oyster bar. Once we boarded the boat it was a smooth day to venture through key west. After viewing about 6-8 Dolphins we drove to a wonderful snorkel area to see the shipwreck below with tons of coral and fish. Our next stop was the Sandbar where we sat around and mingled with our family from Brazil to complete the day. Since we are locals and our day off, we really enjoyed the ease of this trip and couldn't of asked for anything more. Great trip and we thank the crew for a lovely experience. Must attend while in Key West !!! Book through or call the key west visitor center www.keywest123.com or text 305-296-8881.

We had an Awesome trip. James was our Captain and did a great job providing us with a fantastic trip. We did exactly what we wanted to do and enjoyed a beautiful sunset with Champagne. I would highly recommend this company and hire James as your Captain. James is very knowledgeable of the area and provided us with great views and knowledge of the surrounding area. I would add this trip to your list of activities to do when in Key West.

I do not recommend this company. It was just a long boat ride. Not much to learn. Look for another company for sure.

Highlight of our trip to Florida! We (female 49 with 3 boys (2x15 and 11) travelled from Vancouver, BC to Florida for a trip to Disney and a short 2 day trip to the keys. Wanting to cram in as much as we could in a brief trip we booked a 3 hour boat trip with dolphin tours. Ed and Melanie were immediately warm and friendly upon arrival which made us feel so at ease and welcome. With Melanie as our captain, the chill and friendly vibe continued throughout our beautiful and relaxing boat trip. Melanie found us dolphins, a lovely snorkelling spot and a once in a lifetime sunset all while making sure the teens were comfortable (pee breaks, blankets, sofas, snacks and music). Was an absolutely fantastic and unforgettable afternoon!

Photo of Melle B.

Had a really good experience. We went for the $99/head dolphin/snorkel/sandbar experience and it was worth it! Total or 6 people in the boat, 3 hrs tour and really had a great time! They provide water, soda and snacks.

Thank you Melle for taking time to review your experience with us! We are really happy that you enjoyed it! Looking forward to see you again! From Dolphin Safari with love!

21 of the best places to visit in Lapland

Whether you go for santa, snow, midnight sun or northern lights, lapland is the arctic of your wildest childhood dreams. here’s what you shouldn’t overlook.

jolly safari adventure

> Most people go for the full-on winter deal: reindeer sleigh rides, dogsledding, snowmobiling, igloos and the Sami joik (folk music) sung around campfires in the blue of the polar night. But summer has its own quiet wonder, whether you’re striking out on trails in national parks where bears roam, picking cloudberries in swamps, or paddling to a tiny speck of an island in the undying light of a summer’s evening. Is the magic real? You bet.

Main photo: reindeer in Lapland (Getty Images)

1. Meet Santa in Rovaniemi

So you want to see Santa? You’re not alone. Regardless of age, almost everyone who comes to Lapland wants to whisper their wish list into the ear of the jolly red-robed guy at the Santa Claus Village and Santa Park in Rovaniemi. Sitting atop the Arctic Circle, this glittery, elf-filled, Christmas-in-overdrive wonderland is where you can chat to Santa in his grotto, rattle off carols on a reindeer-driven sleigh ride, go on a husky safari, gawp at ice sculptures and just generally throw yourself wholeheartedly into the year-round festive spirit.

Cloudberries in closeup (Alamy)

2. Go cloudberry foraging in Ranua

When the midnight sun shines, Finns go mad for cloudberries — and never more so than in Ranua, the world’s self-professed “cloudberry capital”. Walking among silent forests and swamps brimming with luscious amber berries is the ultimate mindful activity, revealing a side to Lapland few get to see. Here you’ll be alone with your thoughts, the wide-open skies and odd passing reindeer. Grab a basket and step out in search of rare Arctic berries that are born from winter snows and taste of summer sunshine. The brief season runs roughly from late July to mid-August. Visit Ranua can sort out foraging maps and apps and arrange guides.

The Abisko Sky Station (Alamy)

3. See the light in Abisko

Oh, the lights! When conditions are clear and aurora activity is high, Abisko in the far, far north of Swedish Lapland is hands-down one of the most astonishing places to glimpse them. Jumping on the chairlift swinging up to Mount Nuolja gets you that bit closer to the heavens at the Aurora Sky Station , 900m above sea level. Here you’re bang in the centre of the aurora oval, and on a good night the aurora borealis ripples, dances and flashes above you. Night visits include chairlift tickets, Arctic-style overalls and boots, and a guided tour. September to April is peak viewing.

Best northern lights igloos

Northern lights: what are they and how can I see them?

4. Marvel at rock art and the aurora in Alta

In the crook of its namesake fjord in northern Norway, Alta delivers a blizzard of Arctic fun: whale-watching, reindeer sleigh rides, dogsledding, snowmobile safaris, aurora-chasing and igloo hotels — you name it. But the town also has two cultural showstoppers up its sleeve. First up is a world heritage stash of prehistoric rock art, best observed at the Alta Museum , where a 3km trail winds past outdoor petroglyphs, where extraordinary scenes of hunter-gatherer life are depicted in red-ochre paint. Just as unmissable is the Northern Lights Cathedral, a silver titanium twister, which seems to echo the swirl and shimmer of the aurora borealis.

5. Go paddle camping off Rebbenesoya

The rhythmic splash of an oar, the crunch of snow underfoot, the wind and the waves — it’s all you hear at the eco-minded Elements Arctic Camp on the island of Rebbenesoya. Bid the world farewell for a few days and embrace the silence of the north, glamping in an off-grid yurt and signing up for a two-to-three-day paddle camping trip with expert sea-kayaking guides Per Magnar and Lise Haug Halvorsen. As you dip your kayak into the inky waters of the Norwegian Sea, look out for white-tailed eagles, otters, seals, porpoises and dolphins. Whether under the northern lights or midnight sun, this is one trip you’ll rave about forever more.

Riding a RIB in Saltstraumen (Alamy)

6. Ride a RIB at Saltstraumen

The sheer force of the elements leaves you gobsmacked at Saltstraumen, one of the world’s strongest tidal currents, where 400 million cubic metres of seawater are forced through a 3km-long, 150m-wide strait every six hours. And never more so than when you are clinging onto a RIB (rigid inflatable boat), bouncing across whirlpools and rapids past dark, snow-frosted mountains, with icy spray lashing your face. This is also a place of geological and wildlife wonders. When the boat slows, keep an eye out for sea eagles, porpoises and puffins, and the spectacularly buckled and contorted strata of the Caledonian Fold Belt.

Icehotel in Sweden (Asaf Kliger)

7. Stay in an igloo

Igloos are two a penny in Lapland, but Sweden’s Icehotel is the original and, some say, the best. This is the full-on snowglobe fantasy: each winter, ice drawn from the Torne River is carved with a keen artistic eye into one-of-a-kind igloos that are pure Narnia stuff. Thermal sleeping bags and reindeer hides keep off the chill, as do pre-breakfast saunas and hot grog. It’s magic in winter, but you can, should you so wish, sleep on ice here year round. Activity-wise, it’s a phenomenal base for snowmobile safaris, dogsledding and northern lights hunting in winter, or moose safaris, river fishing and rafting in summer.

8. Eat on the edge of the world

Imagine what the world’s top chefs could come up with if they had the space, elements and raw produce of the Arctic at their disposal. Hosted by Valentine Warner, the Kitchen on the Edge of the World on the island of Moskenesoya in Norway’s Lofoten archipelago has nailed it. High-punching guest chefs such as Nuno Mendes, Angela Hartnett and Niklas Ekstedt are taken out of their comfort zone and thrown headfirst into the culinary wilds. But days here are about more than fine dining. Come to fish (these waters have long been famous for meaty cod), forage, craft, cook and sample the flavours of these islands reinvented in menus presented with panache.

Snowmobiling on frozen Lake Inari (Alamy)

9. Snowmobile on Lake Inari

Far from the Santa madness, Finnish Lapland takes a sharp swerve into proper wilderness in its remotest northern reaches, where winter snows fall thick and fast and the aurora borealis regularly pop out to play. Nudging the Norwegian and Russian borders, Lake Inari is ravishing when wrapped in its winter blanket of snow. The frozen lake and its surrounding fells and forests are best explored on a snowmobile safari from December to April. Go for a couple of hours or, even better, on an overnight expedition. The stillness of this landscape really charms when you switch off the engine and, for a split second, find yourself alone in the deep blues and whites of the polar night.

10. Go off the beaten track in Urho Kekkonen National Park

Santa hangs out in Rovaniemi these days, but his spiritual home is the forested, 486m peak of Korvatunturi, which pops up above the reindeer-dotted fells of Urho Kekkonen National Park. The at-one-with-nature flavour of this park on the Russian border chimes perfectly with the Finnish love of silence, solitude and untouched wilderness. Days here are spent communing with the green gods: walking in spruce forests frequented by bears, moose, lynx and reindeer, crossing Arctic fells as golden eagles swoop overhead, wild camping under starry night skies or bedding down in rustic huts. In winter, hiking gives way to terrific cross-country skiing.

• 10 top Lapland tours

Gondola lifts at Yllas (Alamy)

11. Ski at Yllas

Height isn’t everything. The fell of Yllas in Finnish Lapland tops out at a modest 718m, but, trust us, the skiing is sensational and the slopes refreshingly uncrowded. At 150km north of the Arctic Circle, the snow here is pristine and abundant — perfect whether you want to dash downhill on one of 63 slopes (including the country’s longest at 3km), cross-country ski through ice-sculpted forests in quiet exhilaration, or find deep powder telemarking or off-piste skiing. Many of the slopes are floodlit for dark polar nights, and the northern lights sometimes add an extra shot of magic. For a wacky warm-up, get a group together for a steamy ride on the world’s only sauna gondola.

12. Ride with reindeer in Rovaniemi

There sure are faster ways of zipping around the snowy wilds of the Arctic, but none channels your inner Rudolf-loving child more than a reindeer sleigh ride near Santa’s home in Rovaniemi. Swaddled in blankets and hides, you’ll glide through Christmassy, snow-daubed forests in glorious slow motion. As the panting reindeer pick up speed, the frozen landscapes become but a monochrome blur. Most trips include a quick farm visit, where you can meet Sami herders, feed the reindeer and learn more about these beautiful creatures.

Dogsledding in the snowy landscape of Kiruna, Norrbotten County, Sweden (Alamy)

13. Go dogsledding in Kiruna

Gliding across a freshly draped blanket of snow, with a team of yelping, panting, run-hungry huskies pulling your sled, is as close as you’ll get to flying without actually taking off. Give “mushing” a whirl yourself and you’ll soon click into a rhythm that resonates with your deeper nature: intuitively leaning into the bends and placing your wholehearted trust in the dogs. Kiruna, Sweden’s northernmost town, is dogsledding central. Here you can let a guide lead the way through forests and across the frozen tundra, or head properly out into the white wilderness with your own team of huskies on a multi-day mushing expedition.

14 of the most amazing hotels in Lapland

14. Tune into Sami culture in Jokkmokk

The spirit of Swedish Lapland’s indigenous, reindeer-herding Sami people is felt most keenly in Jokkmokk, host of February’s 400-year-old winter market. This event is the all-out Arctic dream, with reindeer racing, folk music and traditional costume, dancing, joik concerts, crafts fashioned from reindeer hides and antlers, and street food (think reindeer and elk kebabs). Year round, you can get a taste of Sami life by following reindeer herders to their winter pastures, ice fishing on a frozen lake and listening to stories and songs beside an open fire in a lavvu tent.

15. Hike the Kungsleden

Want to give civilisation the slip? Hook onto the 440km Kungsleden (King’s Trail), taking a deep dive into a middle-of-nowhere wilderness in Swedish Lapland that’s beyond the realms of most maps and imaginations. Heading through Sami reindeer-herding lands, this tough nut of a trail wends from Abisko in the north to Hemavan in the south. The 28 stages are a “greatest hits” of Arctic scenery, wowing you with raging rivers, forests where bears, wolves and elk roam, glacial valleys, lakes and Sweden’s highest peak; the 2,103m Kebnekaise. This is the back-to-nature dream: you’ll bathe in streams and sleep in a tent or one of the off-grid cabins en route (this being Sweden, some have wood-fired saunas to ease weary bones). The best time to hike it is from late June to early September.

The Arctic Cathedral in Tromso (Getty Images)

16. Embrace the Arctic in Tromso

You really feel the heartbeat of the Arctic at 69 degrees north in Tromso, which peers out across frigid fjords and mountains that remain dusted in snow for much of the year, and is regularly treated to phenomenal displays of northern lights. The city would have been the last thing many a great Arctic explorer (Amundsen and Nansen among them) saw before launching into the storm-tossed Norwegian Sea en route for the North Pole, as recounted in the Polar Museum. Architecturally, the spirit of the north is captured in the snow-white, crystalline Arctic Cathedral, illuminated by icicle-like chandeliers.

17. Drive Sweden’s Wilderness Road

Lapland seems vaster and lonelier than ever on the 370km Vildmarksvagen (Wilderness Road) between Stromsund and Vilhelmina. How remote? Let’s just say that Sweden’s largest bear population roams these starkly beautiful peaks, which roll away to the barren, reindeer-dotted Stekenjokk mountain plateau. Lapland’s highest paved road swings past caves and underground rivers, birch forests and nature reserves, the Marsfjallen mountains, and crash-bang waterfalls like Hallingsafallet, which plunges 43m to Sweden’s longest canyon. Plan your trip carefully as accommodation, petrol stations and shops can be thin on the ground in some places. The road goes with the snow and is best driven from June to mid-October.

18. Chill out ice floating in Rovaniemi

If you think wild swimming is a bit out there, it doesn’t get more bonkers than ice floating under the flashes of the northern lights. An ice-rescue suit is your saviour on these guided floats, which happen at a secret location with minimal light pollution near Rovaniemi. Drifting on an iceberg-choked lake in the dead of night might sound intrepid, but it’s surprisingly peaceful. And even if the aurora borealis is a no-show, you’ll feel a weightless wonder in the icy waters as the stars glitter above or snowflakes, light as feathers, fall down to brush your face.

Haukland Beach, Vestvagoy (Getty Images)

19. Hit the beach at Haukland

Think of the Arctic and you don’t necessarily think beaches, but Haukland on the island of Vestvagoy in the Lofoten archipelago will make you reconsider. No Instagram post or Photoshopped shot can ever do justice to the mind-blowing moment when you clap eyes on this deliriously beautiful beach, with granite mountains flinging up above a creamy scoop of sand that dissolves into a sea that’s every shade of blue on the colour chart. Come to catch a perfect peach of a sunset, to wild camp and sea kayak — whether under the midnight sun in summer or the northern lights in winter.

20. Go snowshoeing in Korouoma Canyon

Southern Finnish Lapland is often overlooked, with most folk hitting Rovaniemi then swinging north. But the 30km-long Korouoma Canyon is beautiful beyond belief in winter, when its falls freeze in great curtains of shimmering blue ice, several metres tall. The nature reserve is ice-climbing heaven, but it’s also a joy to explore by snowshoe. Full-day guided tours take you into the powder and through the canyon, with all gear, transport, lunch and hot drinks included. Look out for the tracks of Arctic hares, moose, reindeer and wolves as you pad quietly through the snow.

21. Kayak the Lulea archipelago

All is forest and water, green and blue. Swedish Lapland’s Lulea archipelago can only really be explored with a kayak paddle in your hand. Here the country’s northeast coast splinters into 1,312 islands and skerries — this is a special place of silence and still waters, where the only sound is the gentle splash of your oar. Go kayaking here from June to September for long, bright days, maximising your chance of spotting the birds and wildlife that call Lulea home: black guillemots, ringed plovers and seals, and the moose, bears and reindeer that swim between the islands. Even with a lifetime on your hands, you’ll only ever be able to scratch the surface.

  • O7493AZpatrickf 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Salalah City Tour with Abo Salim Wonderful trip. Abo Salim was an excellent guide, very knowledgable and most pleasant company. He was very flexible and tailored our itinerary to suit us, on his advice. Highlights for us were the fish souk, where we bought the most wonderful lobster, freshly cooked, which Abo Salim arranged for us to eat at a small restaurant later in the afternoon when we were on the desert safari; buying fresh coconut to drink at a stall. We really loved the trip and highly recommend it. Read more Written 19 May 2024

  • Excursion05972154544 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Private Tour you feel satisfied and would like to come again I had great experience of Dhofar thanks to the nice tour guide, Mr. Ali full of hospitality. He heard about my preference & expectation, and then suggested the places to visit considering the time and route in spite of ad-hoc request for trip. Also on the way, he explained about the background and history - not only grand generation but also a decade ago -, which helped me understand what I am seeing here and now. Half-day trip is not enough to enjoy full of Dhofar, but in spite of it, I felt quite satisfied. I'll definitely come again for longer stay, and would like to request the tour again. • Crina C 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Amazing experience, definitely recommended Amazing experience and even more amazing tour guide - شكرا Abo Salim 😁 for keeping up with my 1000 pictures/videos and questions. As solo traveler might be difficult to find tours around Salalah for an acceptable price. I was a bit disappointed and almost given up when I’ve found this agency offering to share the tour with another person for a reasonable price. I would however recommend to visit during khareef season when the nature comes to life with green trees and waterfalls - July - August Read more Written 28 April 2024

  • 13eddyi 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Great Tour and Guide The tour guide Abo Salim was very welcoming and took great care of our needs. At some spots we were a bit faster and at some slower. In the end of the day, Abo took us back to a Museum that we wanted to see in more detail. The tour overall has interesting major landmarks and was worth it for me. As a general remark, note that waterfalls are only flowing and trees are only green in monsoon time. Read more Written 19 April 2024

He was very presentable, kind and helpful. His driving was also excellent and we all felt very safe. He gave us enough time to roam around rather than dictating how long we can spend at each location. I highly recommend him. Read more Written 14 April 2024
