Rented an RV thru Cruise America over the holiday - a system broke down and because we were out of mobile service at the camp site the company will not honor the issue and won't even call us back to discuss. The "Customer Relations" department can only be reached by email. In summary - AVOID Cruise America and go with another, more customer oriented, rental service.

I have some advice to anyone looking to rent and RV for any reason DO NOT RENT FROM CRUISE AMERICA! I cannot stress this enough. I am not usually a person that complains about anything rental related but this has been the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life! The RV has so many issues toilet doesn't work, air conditioning doesn't work, the water tank is leaking and water isn't working properly. I have been on the phone with multiple customer service agents (which are completely rude) and no one will help us. We drove all the way from MI to FL in an unsafe vehicle at the direction of Cruise America then they sent us to a service center which made us miss a family event and when I arrived at the service center I was told they didn't have parts, could not repair it and that they had other things to do and did not have time to address any of the unsafe issues and just sent me on my way. I asked for them to replace it for a different RV and was told that's not possible and they can't fix it or take it back and that I had to have my entire family in an unsafe vehicle and "it's not their problem" In response to the comments left below by Cruise America. You are correct that I have spoke with Lori who is the only person that spoke to me with any respect. However, as of today March 5, 2023 there was not a resolution other then being pushed from place to place, person to person, told to extend my trip so it could be repaired, 20+ hours of speaking to customer service agents and repair shops, being stuck to deal with the issue on my own, then threatened that I will be charged with abandonment and $3,000 fine if I return it to any Cruise America facility except the one I rented from which is 1200 miles from where the death trap is currently, so forgive me if I am a tad frustrated. However, Cruise America has ruined what was suppose to be a wonderful trip, blamed me for the issues, didn't resolve anything for me and treated me like complete garbage.

Such excellent service!!! My family and I were on a long trip from the West Coast and our drivers side mirror was taken off by another driver while we were in Yellowstone. We tried the Cruise America dealer in Billings, Montana and he really wanted nothing to do with us. Told us his guy had gone for the weekend and he couldn't even guarantee he had a part. We'd just have to stay the night and wait and see. Nope. Our entire experience with the Westland Michigan Cruise America was a breath of fresh air. Answered the phone right away (hooray we get a human on the line), prompt, reached out to Cruise America roadside asst to get info for us and got us in quickly. Mirror was replaced in no time, fun conversation and a bottle of water was offered. I wish this store was my local dealer!

The RV rig was noisy and rickety and had not been properly cleaned, even though it's COVID season. The employees were defiant about not wearing masks.
