Your tour includes: - Our most knowledgeable and experienced tour guides meet you in the Pro Shop to lead your VIP Guided Tour. - Tour stops include the Cotton Bowl office lobby & platform locations. - After you've seen these areas, your guide will take you down to the event level where you'll see all of the stops on the Self-Guided Tours, including the field, the Miller Lite Club, the post-game interview room and both the Cowboys locker room and the Cheerleaders locker room. - Your tour will end in the AT&T Stadium Pro Shop. *ALL TOUR LOCATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Even though there's been no marketing campaign to promote the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium as a tourist destination, it has definitely become that. So if you plan on visiting, here's what you need to know:

DATES & TIMES Event scheduling (Dallas Cowboys football games, concerts, soccer games, conventions, etc.) will largely determine what days tours will be available. That changes constantly, so if you want to tour Dallas Cowboy Stadium, make sure and call ahead, so that you don’t waste a trip.

Except for specifically blacked-out dates (when events are involved), “normal” tours are given 7 days a week. On Mondays – Saturdays, they run from 10 am – 6 pm, with the last tour departing at 4:30. On Sundays they’re given from noon – 5 pm, with the last tour departing at 3:30.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS The stadium operators do not guarantee that all of the following destinations will be seen on all Dallas Cowboy Stadium Tours (they are “subject to change without notice”), but most of the time you will be able to visit:

• The Press Box • The Player Interview Room • One of the Luxury Suites • The Scoreboard Control Room • Silver Level Platform • The Pro Shop

Not surprisingly, two of the most popular and asked-about tour destinations are:

• The Cowboys Locker Room, and • Field Access

Field Access is limited and not guaranteed, and the Cowboys Locker Room will be on the tour “if accessible”. Again, when you call to confirm the tour times for the day you plan to visit, ask if these two destinations will be included. If they’re not, ask about other dates and times. If you’re flexible, you should be able to find a tour where these are included.

Who doesn’t enjoy beer, food, games, and football? The simple answer is “No one.” These are integral parts of the NFL experience.

The cost of hosting a tailgate has increased, making it difficult for most fans to afford tickets without a second job. All jokes aside, what would it cost to tailgate an NFL game?

Cost of Tailgating at a Dallas Cowboys Game

The Dallas Cowboys rank third for the most expensive tailgating experience. This tailgate cost includes parking, which, on average, is $88.00 at or near the stadium.

Cowboys fans who want to tailgate during NFL games may feel pressured to park in official parking lots, where the cost can be as high, adding to the overall expense of game day.

However, some Reddit users suggest that there are more affordable parking options in non-official lots near the stadium.

Going to see the Carolina Panthers (or their opponents)? Consider the train

If you’re headed to a Carolina Panthers game in Charlotte this season, you can skip the drive and the hunt for a parking space by taking the train.

Amtrak and the N.C. Department of Transportation are again adjusting their Sunday morning train schedule on days the Panthers play at 1 p.m. The change means two Piedmont trains will be scheduled to arrive by noon, in time for fans to get to their seats for kickoff.

Two evening trains will take fans home after the game, the last one scheduled to arrive in Raleigh at 10:52 p.m.

The first of six football trains roll this Sunday, Sept. 15, when the Panthers host the Los Angeles Chargers. The others will take people to see the Panthers play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 29; the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 3; the Kansas City Chiefs on Nov. 24; the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 15, and the Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 22.

Fans going to Charlotte have two options in the morning:

▪ Piedmont train 71, departs Raleigh Union Station at 6:30 a.m. and stops in Cary, Durham, Greensboro and Kannapolis before arriving in Charlotte at 9:28 a.m.

▪ Piedmont train 73 leaves Raleigh at 8:40 a.m. and stops at Cary, Durham, Burlington, Greensboro, High Point, Salisbury and Kannapolis before arriving at noon. Train 73 normally departs Raleigh at 10 a.m.

Fans also have two options home:

▪ Piedmont train 76 leaves Charlotte at 5:30 p.m. with stops in Kannapolis, Greensboro, Durham and Cary before arriving in Raleigh at 8:29 p.m.

▪ Piedmont train 78 departs Charlotte at 7:45 p.m. and stops in Salisbury, High Point, Greensboro, Burlington, Durham and Cary before arriving in Raleigh at 10:52 p.m.

Ticket prices vary by the length of your trip. Tickets from Raleigh, the most expensive, start at $54 round-trip.

NCDOT and the city of Charlotte are building a new train station near the heart of uptown , but the current Amtrak station is about 2 miles from Bank of America Stadium . You can take a cab or a rideshare to the game or walk across four lanes of North Tryon Street to catch a Charlotte Area Transportation System or CATS bus (be aware, there are no crosswalks near the station).
