Best Private Tour

We had a private tour with Courtney and Samantha. I highly recommend them! We got to do the things we wanted to do and they kept us entertained and laughing during the tour. They are very nice people and will make you feel very comfortable. They want your time spent with them to be fun. Very good value for the money spent and we will not hesitate to use them again when visiting Jamaica. Samantha was awesome making our reservations and answering all my many questions via email. Thanks for a great day Samantha and Courtney!

This was our second time booking with Courtney Taylor. From my initial email inquiry to paying the deposit, Samantha was excellent in answering all of my questions. We requested a customized private tour for our group of 3. After comparing a number of tour operators in Jamaica, Courtney Taylor was the most affordable and had the highest reviews online. I had specifically requested for Eugene, after seeing his name mentioned many times on the TripAdvisor reviews. He was waiting for us upon arrival at the Falmouth cruise terminal. We had to ask a few people where to go, but they immediately directed us to the parking lot once we mentioned "Courtney Taylor". Eugene was a great tour guide and made us feel very comfortable. He told us interesting facts about Jamaica and funny stories. He was open to take us wherever we wanted to go. He was also very aware of our time constraints, given that we had to return to the cruise terminal, and made sure we didn't spent too much time at one location in order to visit everything on our itinerary, We visited the Blue Hole and Turtle River Garden & Falls, which were both located near Ocho Rios, an hour drive away from Falmouth cruise port. We were also able to make a quick stop for some fresh local fruit on the side of the road and at a restaurant next to a beach. We opted to skip the shopping portion. The tour was very customized which gave us the flexibility to only the things we wanted to do. I do want to mention that both times we used Courtney Taylor, we paid for our drivers lunch along with our own. We had offered to pay for their food, but from what I could tell, it was expected of us to do so. I would recommend Courtney Taylor, and especially Eugene, for your next tour in Jamaica.

Use Courtney Taylor! They email you back, they treat you right, and Eugene the genius was the best driver possible. All of our excursions in Jamaica were wonderful thanks to them. Way better than the cruise ship's excursions. Saved a lot of money too. Great day.

We traveled to blue hole and back to port. During this time Samantha gave us lots of information about Jamaica, its language, and culture. Crazy Dave was our driver,, quiet but efficient. Jamaican driving is a little crazier than we are used to but he knew what he was doing, we were in good hands. I would definitely recommend them.

We had reservations for a tour of Blue Hold and river tubing through Courtney Taylor tours. I emailed them mo this ahead of time to ensure they knew we were coming and when we would arrive. We arrived by cruise ship, so our time was a concern. We left the ship as soon as we arrived....the problem is that we waited for over an hour before they found us a driver! Other tour companies left as soon as the passengers Rrived, but we did not. At the hour make, we told the representative that unless he found us a driver right away, we would simply hire a taxi and be on our way. We did have to wait for the driver to fill the van with gas, but finally we were on our way. We had Sheena as our guide and Crazy Dean as our driver. Sheena gave us a great talk about the island, it's culture and people. They took us to Blue Hole (a must see for anyone going to Jamaica) and then on to river tubing. Both were excellent trips, well worth doing. We did skip our lunch at Scotchies due to time. While I would recommend Courtney Taylor tours, I can only give them 4 stars due to the confusion at the beginning of the tour. Our time in Jamaica was limited and we wanted to ensure we were not pressed for time at the end. Our late start was an annoyance that could certainly have been avoided.

Best Private Tour

The reason we choose Courtney tours was because it was private and customized to our request, we fit in five events in the short time we had on the island and never felt rushed. Don't take any other tour but Courtney while in Jamaica and ask for Dean, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my very informative/detailed tour of Jamaica (Ocho/Kingston). Crazy Dean was the assigned driver and he really made sure that I enjoyed my time on the island. He was always prompt and full of energy!! The fruits were the sweetest I have ever tasted and Bamboo Blu beach was sooooo relaxing I almost fell asleep in the water. LOL. Kacian booked my tour and replied to all 10,000 of my questions with a smile. Had a blast !! Thanks Everyone ...

We've been to Jamaica many times before and this is the BEST private tour we'd had to date. Crazy Dean was awesome and took us to all of the hot spots including some that we hadn't been to after our many visits to Jamaica. Tour was small and private with just our group of 6. Dean worked to get us to all the hot spots at the least busy times to avoid big groups. Would definitely recommend and I know we'll be using Courtney Tours again!

Based on the reviews I read on Trip Advisor, I booked a private tour to Blue Hole with Courtney Taylor Tours for my family of 5 (4 year old, 7 year old, 10 year old, 2 adults). First of all, Samantha who booked my tour was very helpful and quick to respond to anything I requested. When we got off the cruise ship and walked outside to find the private tour vehicles, we immediately found our tour guide Crazy Dean and were on our way within 30 seconds. My husband immediately turned to me and said "I'm impressed on how seamless that was and how quick we are on our way." Our drive to Blue Hole was over an hour and Dean educated us all about Jamaica. After talking to Dean and learning more about the culture, I really fell in love with the country. Dean took us safely to Blue Hole and afterwards we stopped for lunch at Scotchies. Dean totally took control and told us what to order, he went and got us samples to try to make sure the food wasn't too spicy. Dean waited for our food while we went and sat at the table. The entire day was fantastic and I am so happy that we booked with Courtney Taylor Tours and met Crazy Dean (who by the way is very sweet and not crazy at all).

We were in Jamaica for the day on a recent cruise as it was my birthday my husband arranged for a a private tour. Bruce was our driver for the day and we had a amazing time river tubing, sight seeing lunch a couple hours at the beach could not think of a more perfect way to turn 50.

Amazing day / tour with Courtney. Blue Hole highlight of the day (bring an underwater camera, shots and scenes you don't want to forget) The jerk chicken is a must try. The shopping I could take it or leave it, Courtney himself a fun informative guy, great tour of the island. Our teenage boys enjoyed Courtney and thought that the Blue Hole was just amazing, the oldest son had his GoPro made for some wild videos to watch after. Great DAY

Our driver/guide was amazing and made our 1st time in Jamaica very comfortable. From the horseback riding to the rafting using the bus as a locker which he guarded while we were on our excursion. Landmarks were pointed out and event information was given proving to be a very knowledgeable and guy for bringing so young. I would definitely use this tour again as long as it’s with Rajaye!

we had Jody and Karl-Lyton as our drivers and they were very professional and nice! we stopped to shop before horseback riding, and got lunch after! Definitely tons of fun!!

This experience by far has been the highlight of my vacation. Communication begins right after your purchase. Friendly emails with reminders of what to bring. Pick up was on time. Our driver Rajaye was very friendly and provided some history facts along the way. With each excursion he stayed the entire time and waited for us. We were able to leave our belongings in the locked car rather than purchasing a locker. We were also able to stop and pick up souvenirs along the way. We were picked up around 9:45am and returned after 4pm. The horseback riding was phenomenal, blue hole beautiful, and the tubing was fun and relaxing! Great experience. I felt safe the entire time.

Great value and great fun!

Driver, Anthony, arrived promptly and was very polite and knowledgeable. He shared information about the places that we passed through and ensured that we were comfortable at every point of the day. All three of the locations were enjoyable with local, hands on, guides at each one. We only took tipping cash, but would recommend that you take a little extra as there are shopping and dining opportunities throughout the day. It lasted about 5 hours. You need to be sufficiently mobile to climb steep stairs and navigate tricky terrain, so possibly not a trip for mobility impaired persons. I’d highly recommend this fun packed triple excursion if you are staying in Ocho Rios. Good value for money and excellent service from the tour operator.

This was an AMAZING experience! My driver Karlus was perfect. He gave tips on what to do at both excursions and even took me to get Juci Patties. At both excursions the tour guides were friendly and helpful. I would do this entire experience again and again!
