Bovy Tours are based in the Isle of Thanet, Kent, South East England with luxury executive 48 and 53 seater vehicles and we can boast of over 30 years experience in the travel industry.

Our perfectly maintained vehicles have comfortable reclining seats, seat belts throughout, TV, DVD player, CD player, double glazed windows and microphones. Our main aim is safety and comfort of our passengers of which is paramount.

We are able to transport many items such as large amounts of luggage, i.e. holiday baggage, wheelchairs, golf clubs etc.

Allington Castle Trip was well attended for very good reasons. Included delightful River Cruise & Guided Tour of Castle grounds plus limited access inside of Castle. Highly informative and amusing Guided Tour with historical details that you very likely have never come across in a book. Highly memorable . Sturdy pair of shoes recommended on the walk about.

Ramsgate Active Retirement group have just had a very pleasant day trip to Rochester Christmas Market. Driver was extremely careful and professional to avoid a road closure due to an accident. Day trip to Bruges.

Went on a day trip to Bruges , beautiful place on what we saw of it as we only had 2 hours there due to missing the ferry going over apparently because French staff were on strike , on the way back we missed the ferry because the driver got the time difference wrong , got home at 1.45am in the morning ☹ , very disappointing 😞.

Trip to the Cotswolds

I recently went with Bovy to the Cotswolds. It was an excellent trip with a very competent driver and considerate person, Tim. He went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable, keeping us well informed and altering the plans slightly when needed. The hotel was modern and comfortable but the evening meal on several days was not as good as expected. This is the only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5.

Awful company

Awful company, given 1.5hr in Bruges, the driver blames Bovy, Bovy blame the driver for privately hiring the coach. Absolutely ridiculous.

I would like to confirm that the above trip was a private hire and was not a Bovy Tours direct trip, the contract hire was with Horace Hotman. The hirer was aware last week that there would be one driver on this particular booking and at no point was a re-schedule or cancellation mentioned. We could not use a later ferry crossing as our driver would have been out of working hours. Drivers are governed by law to 15 hours driver time per day. Our driver Tim arrived back at our yard after all the drop-offs with minutes to spare from his working day. I am sorry that your day wasn’t as you had hoped but would once again ask you to direct your grievances to the hirer Please remove your review as this is NOT a BOVY TOURS trip

I understand that there can be unforseen circumstances but please, if a trip has to be cancelled, it would be common courtesy to let your customers know and not leave them standing at the pick up points.

We had trip booked to Brugges also

We had trip booked to Brugges also. So disappointed as by the time we got to Christmas market we was told we had 1 hour half. It took half an hour to walk to them so left us with half an hour to look around. Waste of money to be honest.

This trip was not a bovy tours trip but a private hire through Horace Hotman - the contract was with him Please would you remove your review

Not what was advertised Brugges Xmas markets

Sadly been to Brugges today apparently there was a driver short so our time in Brugges was 1.5 hrs this consisted of a 15 min walk there and back to the smaller market we walk fast so an hour visit such a shame as this trip should have been cancelled as it was not what was advertised hopefully the chap who organised it can offer compensation for a wasted journey a day spent travelling even the border force felt sorry for us perhaps bovy tours should be careful who hires their vehicles out with Bovy tours number plates etc as it’s bringing their company into disrepute

Bad Management

I had a trip booked recently with Bovy Tours, Ramsgate, to go to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. Arrived at the pick up point to be told we wasn't on the list, resulting in a very upset and disappointed family. We was told a full refund would be made but just 24 hours later our booking was strangely crossed out. They're excuse was that someone phoned and cancelled due to a death in the family, therefore refund was out of the question. A devious excuse to pass the blame for incompetence. I have received just one comment from this company saying that they tried to solve the situation but I wouldn't listen. If I was offered a resolution and a refund, I would've listened, I'm not going to lose money on purpose.. They also state that they've discussed this issue with a newspaper, shame they haven't contacted myself 🤔 It's just excuse after excuse in an attempt to cover someone's mistake. Be careful if using this company, very quick to take your money but no good at delivering. 😡😡 Update: Since this review, the company has emailed myself admitting a miscommunication and asked me to remove all reviews before giving a refund first. Quote "following which we will issue £100 direct to your nominated bank account for the 4 tickets for Winter Wonderland" ( Maybe blackmail??) Even though the refund offer is conditional, they still insist that they are not devious or unscrupulous 🤔. This seems more like a payment to hide their error more than being a decent and honest attempt at giving a genuine refund. I'd rather stick to my principles and let them keep the money as it's so important to them..

Brett, this has been discussed at length with KM paper and they have left this with you to contact us to resolve this matter. I have not heard from you, only incorrect reviews and rude/defamatory comments on social media regarding the company. As stated, this was obviously a miscommunication somewhere but you have not tried to resolve, so this 'bad management' review is unjust
