Please don’t be alarmed and try to remain calm — nearly six years since her last solo trek, Beyoncé is back and (hopefully) heading to a city near you before wrapping her tour this fall. The superstar announced her massive Renaissance world tour back in February, marking Beyoncé’s first global solo tour in support of her seventh album of the same name. With the tour winding down, there’s only a few weeks left to score Beyoncé tickets . Get Beyoncé Tickets on Vivid Seats

With the final month of the Renaissance tour approaching, Beyoncé shared a statement on Instagram that “Virgo Season is upon us.” She continued: “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22! We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo Season together in the house of chrome. See you there! Your B at RWT.”

Ticket registration and sales for Beyoncé’s tour were previously split into three different groups, and now Beyoncé tickets are on sale for all remaining dates, including on Ticketmaster and Vivid Seats .

Renaissance World Tour 2023 North America Dates

Wondering if Beyoncé is playing a show in your area? Below are the remaining cities the Grammy winner will visit for the 2023 North American leg of the Renaissance tour . Beyoncé previously also added an additional three shows to the tour, including Atlanta (8/14/23), Las Vegas, (8/27/23), and Inglewood, CA (9/4/23).

Not surprisingly, Ticketmaster said it saw a massive demand for the Renaissance tour in a blog on its website. “Fan demand already exceeds the number of tickets available by more than 800% based on the registration numbers in the Group A cities. It is expected that many interested fans may not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply.”

It’s a deep-dive into what fans can expect during the concert. In short, you can likely plan to hear everything from deep cuts like opener “Dangerously in Love,” along with Renaissance tracks like “Alien Superstar,” “Cuff It,” and closer “Summer Renaissance.” Plus: “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” “1+1,” and more.

When Are Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Tickets On Sale?

According to Ticketmaster at the time, “Beyoncé is distributing tickets in three different Verified Fan sales: BeyHive Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan; Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan and the General Verified Fan Onsale. Additionally, there will be a Verizon Up Presale. Registration windows vary by city, so check the schedule below and be sure to note when the window closes for the show you’re interested in attending.”

In other words, if you tried to register for Verified Fan presale, you needed to see which group your city was a part of ahead of time. Group A registration was open until Feb. 2, with Group B registration previously scheduled until Feb. 9, and Group C until Feb. 16.

European dates started in May, and Beyoncé embarked on the North American leg of the Renaissance tour over the summer, including stops in Toronto (read our Renaissance tour review ), Los Angeles, Houston, and New Orleans. Though Beyoncé headlined a show in Dubai — her first concert in four years at the time — she didn’t play any songs from Renaissance , Rolling Stone ‘s No. 1 album of 2022 (“the musical highlight of the year”) and a frontrunner at the 65th Grammys .

When Beyoncé dropped Renaissance last summer, Rolling Stone ‘s Mankaprr Conteh wrote that “Beyoncé flung open the doors to a nightclub of her own making, a place where anyone can be the hottest person in the galaxy … the album traverses eras of dance music to conjure the superhuman confidence and deeply human connection of a night out. The thematic triumph of the auteur’s seventh album is this union of the extraordinary and the earthly across it, a duality that lives on the dancefloors Renaissance was inspired by — and in all of us.”

How to Get Beyoncé Tickets With BeyHive Verified Fan Registration

BeyHive Verified Fan Presale started Feb. 6 for those who registered in Group A, followed by Groups B and C.

The first round of the BeyHive presale arrived just one day after Beyoncé made Grammys history on Feb. 5. With 32 wins under her belt, Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammy Awards in music history, winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance .

“I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching,” Queen Bey said during her acceptance speech. “I’d like to thank the queer community, for your love, and for inventing this genre. God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys.”

While Renaissance didn’t win a trophy for Album of the Year , Beyoncé still took home a slew of other awards, including Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” Best Dance/Electronic Record for “Break My Soul,” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa.”

“You changed my life,” Lizzo told Beyoncé during her Grammys acceptance speech for her Record of the Year win. “You sang that gospel medley, and the way you made me feel, I was like, ‘I want to make people feel this way with my music.’ So thank you so much. You clearly are the artist of our lives.”

How To Buy Tickets For Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour

Derrick Rossignol

Well, it’s finally happening. After Beyoncé’s private concert in Dubai and after her father Mathew Knowles said his daughter (not Solange) was planning a tour behind Renaissance , the tour is officially happening. Beyoncé made the official announcement this morning (February 1) and shortly before that, Citi listed a “Citi Verified Fan Presale” page for “Beyoncé RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR,” which features shows between July and September in a number of North American cities.

So, how does one get tickets?

One way to get tickets is via the Citi Verified Fan Presale. To attempt to secure a ticket, buyers must first register for the pre-sale. Some registrants will then receive an access code the night before the presale goes live, which will grant access to shop for tickets. Then, they’ll be able to buy tickets with a valid Citi credit card of Citibank debit card.

Otherwise, links to register to get tickets for specific tour dates are available on Beyoncé’s website . Beyoncé is using a similar Verified Fan system through Live Nation or Ticketmaster (depending on where the show is), which involves registering to receive a code and all that, but without the need for a Citi card. Ticketmaster shared a blog post offering more details about the process.

The trek starts in May with some European and UK dates before heading to North America in July. That part of the tour kicks off in Toronto and will later wrap up in New Orleans.

Beyoncé announces 2023 ‘renaissance tour.’ here’s where she’s performing.

The Beyhive is buzzing like never before.

After much speculation, Beyoncé has officially announced her highly anticipated stadium “Renaissance Tour.”

Seven years after her “Formation Tour” and five years after the “On The Run II Tour” with her husband Jay Z, the 28-time Grammy winner (and 88-time nominee!) will embark on her solo headlining “Renaissance Tour” in support of her critically acclaimed chart-topping 2022 album “Renaissance” all summer long.

The international tour will start overseas in Sweden, Belgium, the U.K., France and Germany in May before she returns to North America for 29 huge stadium concerts starting July 8 at Toronto’s Rogers Centre .

Singer Beyoncé strikes a pose onstage.

And although Queen Bey isn’t coming to the Big Apple on the run — as of now — she will get close to the City That Never Sleeps.

On July 29 and July 30 , Mrs. Knowles is set to touch down at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium for two huge back-to-back concerts.

She’s familiar with the venue too. The last show of her “Formation Tour” was at the Giants and Jets’ home stadium on Oct. 7, 2016. That time around, she brought Jay Z and Kendrick Lamar onstage with her.

Who will she bring this time? Will she sing the same songs she did at her recent Dubai concert?

All we know is the best way to find out is live.

Want to see live music this year?

Check out our list of the 52 biggest concert tours in 2023 here.

Where will Beyoncé go on tour in North America?

Below, you’ll find a complete list of all upcoming 26 tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets for shows where the pre-sale has already taken place.

Beyoncé opening acts

At the time of publication, Beyoncé does not have any opening acts lined up for her 2023 “Renaissance Tour” although there are rumors that 74-year-old singer Grace Jones will be joining her swirling on Twitter .

We personally can’t get enough of Jones’ seven-minute cover of Roxy Music’s “Love Is the Drug.”

In 2016, Knowles was joined by DJ Khaled on the “Formation Tour.” Two years later, she co-headlined with her husband and fellow 88-time Grammy nominee Jay Z on the “On The Run II Tour.”

Beyoncé Dubai setlist

Although Beyoncé didn’t perform any tracks from her 2022 record “Renaissance” at the Jan. 23 concert in Dubai, she was able to cram in several hits from her expansive catalogue as well as a few covers into her 17-song set.

Here’s her set list (courtesy of  SetList.FM ):

01.)  “At Last”   (Harry Warren cover; made famous by Etta James)

02.)  “XO”  ( from her 2014 album “Beyonce”)

03.)  “Flaws And All”   (from her 2007 album “B’Day”)

04.)  “Ava Maria”   (from her 2008 album “I Am Sasha Fierce”)

05.)  “Halo”   (from her 2008 album “I Am Sasha Fierce”)

06.)  “Brown Skin Girl”   featuring Blue Ivy Carter   (from the 2019 “Lion King: The Gift”)

07.)  “Be Alive”   (from the 2021 “King Richard” soundtrack)

08.)  “Otherside”   (from the 2019 “Lion King: The Gift”)

09.)  “Bigger”  from the 2019 “Lion King: The Gift”)

10.)  “Spirit”   from the 2019 “Lion King Soundtrack”)

11.)  “Freedom”   (from her 2016 album “Lemonade”)

12.)  “I Care”   (from her 2011 album “4”)

13.)  “Beautiful Liar”   (from her 2007 album “B’Day”)

14.)  “Crazy In Love”   (from her 2003 album “Dangerously In Love”)

15.)  “Countdown”   (from her 2011 album “4”)

16.)  “Naughty Girl”   (from her 2003 album “Dangerously In Love”)

17.)  “Drunk In Love”   (from her 2014 album “Beyonce”)

Beyoncé “Renaissance” album

Knowles’ “Renaissance” was the most critically-acclaimed album of 2022 showing up on countless year-end lists as 2022’s best.

The 16-track album, clocking in at just a little over an hour was also extremely popular with fans as well quickly charting at number on the Billboard 200, making it Beyoncé’s seventh album to hit the top spot.

However, the record that brought the world “Break My Soul” may have more to it.

Beyoncé has hinted that the record is part of a three-part series; in a June 28, 2022 announcement she called it “Act I.”

Since the album’s release, it has undergone a few transformations.

According to Pitchfork, Beyoncé “replaced ableist lyrics in “ Heated ,” and  removed  an interpolation of  Kelis ’ “Milkshake” on “Energy” after Kelis said  she was not informed  by Beyoncé and her team that her music was going to be used on the new album.”

She also reportedly dropped  Honey Dijon  and  Madonna  remixes of “Break My Soul.”

Beyoncé Grammys

Beyonce’s seventh studio album “Renaissance,” netted nine Grammy nominations for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Album, Best R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best Song Written For Visual Media.

The nine nominations tie Beyonce with her husband Jay Z for most all-time Grammy nominations with 88 apiece.

Grammy-winning artist Beyoncé is back on her first solo tour since 2016. Tickets are still on sale for those who wish to see Beyoncé perform in her celebrated Renaissance World Tour through October 2023. Stick with us, and we'll show you the best options for where to buy Beyoncé tickets today.

The 2023 Renaissance World Tour kicked off with an international leg in Sweden on May 10, 2023. Beyoncé then traveled across ten European countries before arriving in North America on July 8. The tour's United States and Canada leg will continue through October 1 as the musician plays 13 more shows in nine cities.

Supporting her 2022 album "Renaissance," the concert setlists have included Beyoncé playing each track from her seventh studio album. The Renaissance World Tour also includes "Queen Bey" playing various hits from her larger discography, such as "Formation," "Love on Top," and "Crazy in Love."

If you're aiming to buy tickets for the final performances of Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, we've got you covered. Here's our breakdown of Beyoncé's remaining tour schedule, purchasing details, and resale and original ticket prices. Or you can browse through the available tickets left through StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Beyoncé 2023 Renaissance tour schedule

The Renaissance World Tour still has 11 concert dates across eight cities, including three shows in Inglewood, California. In addition to one stop in Vancouver, Canada, the remaining shows will be held in the United States. Tickets are the most expensive in Beyoncé's hometown of Houston, Texas. All concert times are listed in local time zones. We've linked to the ticket site with the cheapest deals (at the time of writing) in the 'Prices from' column.

Where to buy tickets for Beyoncé 2023 Renaissance tour

You can purchase original tickets to Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour through Ticketmaster , although only a select number remain for each 2023 date and location. However, the tickets still available on Ticketmaster are typically more expensive than those found on verified resale platforms such as StubHub and Vivid Seats .

The prices for standard tickets to Beyoncé's concerts from StubHub start at approximately $102 on the lower end to nearly $400, depending on the venue. Vivid Seats offers similar price ranges for standard Renaissance World Tour tickets, ranging from about $100 in Las Vegas to $375 in Houston. When considering VIP packages, the cost increases significantly on each purchasing platform.

How much are Beyoncé tickets?

The prices for original Beyoncé concert tickets have risen considerably since the end of the initial Verified Fan Sale through Ticketmaster. Additionally, the cost of an original ticket varies depending on the demand for a particular location and date.

For instance, the cheapest price on Ticketmaster for a standard original ticket to the 2023 Renaissance World Tour is $91.83 for her Las Vegas, Nevada show on August 27. However, there are very few standard original tickets remaining for Beyoncé's concerts, so you may have better luck with verified resales.

Meanwhile, some original VIP packages, such as the Pure/Honey on Stage Risers, cost well over $3,000. At Beyoncé's August 30 performance in Santa Clara, the original VIP package costs $3,601. On the less expensive side, original Beyhive VIP Package prices are $1,401 in Seattle. Here's a breakdown of the various Beyoncé VIP packages from Ticketmaster's website .

Original prices typically come in much higher than resale prices for Beyoncé concerts. Many of the cheaper tickets are verified resales for nearer tour dates, suggesting you might find the best prices when it gets closer to the concert date.

Who is opening for Beyoncé's tour?

Beyoncé's world tour does not include any opening acts from other artists. Once the showtime begins for each concert date, it will be the Queen Bey herself who comes onstage.

There are no traditional opening acts for the 2023 Renaissance World Tour because Beyoncé is technically the opener to her own concerts. The time typically reserved for other artists at the start of the concert instead sees Beyoncé sing R&B ballads from her early discography, beginning with her Destiny's Child-era 2000 song "Dangerously in Love 2."

Approximately four songs are played in Beyoncé's "Opening Act" before moving into her "Renaissance" tracks. The concert is approximately two and a half hours long with 31 songs on the setlist, so Beyoncé's tour has more than enough hit music to fill the night.

Since Beyoncé opened with the international leg of her ninth solo tour, the music sensation will take her final bow of the concert series on October 1 in Kansas City, Missouri. While the remaining concert dates are primarily in the United States, there will be one last international show in Vancouver, Canada, on September 11, 2023.

How to get presale tickets for Beyonce’s Renaissance tour

It is time.

The first batch of presale tickets for Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is going live Monday, Feb. 6. Competition is already through the roof for tickets to the U.S. leg of the tour , which kicks off in July.

“Fan demand has significantly exceeded the number of tickets available based on registration numbers,” according to Live Nation , so those who registered on Ticketmaster as a Verified Fan (which closed Feb. 5) will be selected via a lottery system to either be waitlisted, or to be given a unique access code.

People with an access code will have the chance to try for tickets, but they're still available on a first come, first served basis.

How to get Beyoncé presale tickets for Group A

North American ticket sales have been staggered into three groups based on location. Tickets for the Group A presale, which opens Feb. 6, include shows in the following cities, according to Live Nation:

  • Chicago, Illinois
  • East Rutherford, New Jersey
  • Houston, Texas
  • Inglewood, California
  • Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Toronto, Canada
  • Vancouver, Canada

On Feb. 5, everyone who registered for Group A should have received an email either giving them a unique access code, or placing them on the waitlist.

People who were given unique access codes as part of the BeyHive Presale are able to try for tickets on Feb. 6.

Qualified Citi debit or credit card holders can participate in the Citi Presale for Group A on Feb. 7 and 8. The Canadian shows in Toronto and Vancouver will not be participating in the Citi presale, Live Nation noted on their website.

After those presales, general Verified Fan tickets will go on sale for the U.S. on Feb. 11.

According to Ticketmaster , different presales have different start times depending on which show you are trying to attend. It recommends checking the individual event page for the show you would like to see to find out when the presale for that event begins.

When are Group B and Group C presale tickets available?

Registration for Group B and Group C closed Feb. 5 due to high demand, Ticketmaster said in a blog post . Those who registered in time will be emailed the day before the presale begins for their group. They will be given an access code or waitlisted.

Group B dates:

  • Registered people are emailed: Feb. 12
  • BeyHive Presale: Feb. 13

So if you get a code, be sure to join the sale promptly at the time stated in your email for the best chance to get tickets. Please be aware that presale start times will differ depending on the show you registered for, so make sure you make a note of the time stated in your email.

How Verified Fan Registration Works:

Step 1: Registration

By registering for Verified Fan, you are letting us know you are a fan who is interested in purchasing tickets. From the registration page, you can sign in or create a new account to select your preferred show(s) and register your email and phone number. When completed, you’ll automatically receive a confirmation email letting you know we got your request .

* Registration windows vary by city, so check the schedule below and be sure to note when the window closes for the show you’re interested in attending.

Step 2: Verification

Next Ticketmaster vets your request by confirming it belongs to an individual – not a bot – and that it hasn’t been tied to irregular behaviors that could be a sign of a professional seller attempting to access the sale for purposes of reselling tickets.

Step 3: Access Code or Waitlist

When demand exceeds availability, a lottery-style process will determine which registered Verified Fans will receive a unique access code and which are put on the waitlist. You’ll receive an email the day prior to the ticket sale letting you know which group you’re in.

  • Access Code : If you receive an access code, it will be sent via text message. It is unique to your account, and will not work if anyone else enters it – do not try to sell or trade your code.
  • Waitlist : If tickets remain, we may text you an access code to join the ticket sale. The lottery-style process will be used to determine who gets off the waitlist.

Access to the Verified Fan sale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. So if you get a code, be sure to join the sale promptly for the best chance to get tickets.

Who Will Get Invited to Participate in the Verified Fan sales?

Demand for this tour is expected to be high. If there is more demand than there are tickets available, a lottery-style selection process will determine which registered Verified Fans get a unique access code and which are placed on the waitlist. A Verified Fan access code does not guarantee tickets, it just gives you access to join the sale. All tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. If tickets remain, the lottery-style process will be used to invite more Verified Fans from the waitlist to join the sale.

Please be aware that presale start times will differ depending on the show you registered for, so make sure you make a note of the time stated in your email.

If I edit my registration more than once, will I be disqualified?

No, you won’t be disqualified. If you edit your registration more than once to correct a mistake, such as changing the show you previously selected, we only keep the last registration that you submitted.

I received a registration confirmation email, does that mean I will get tickets?

No, registration does not guarantee tickets. The registration confirmation email is simply to inform you that we have received your information and will be working to verify your account.  A second email will be sent the day before the Verified Fan sale letting you know if you will receive a unique access code or if you’ve been placed on the waitlist.

When submitting my registration I received a six-digit authentication code from Ticketmaster. Can I use this code to purchase tickets during the Verified Fan sales?

No, that code was sent to you to verify your phone number at registration. It is not a unique Verified Fan code and cannot be used to purchase tickets.

Does registering mean I get a Verified Fan access code?

No. Registration for Verified Fan allows Ticketmaster to authenticate your account and places your request into a lottery-style process  to determine which registered Verified Fans get an access code and which fans are placed on the waitlist . Access to tickets is not guaranteed. If you’re selected, you’ll receive a unique access code and link to the sale via text message. If you aren’t selected, you’ll be automatically placed on a waitlist and may be invited to join the sale if tickets remain.

Does getting an access code mean I will get tickets?

No. Receiving an access code means that you’ll have the opportunity to join the sale. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis so they may sell out.

Hmm I wonder if the woman who keeps banging on about Brown Skin and being an African Queen will actually go to the African continent with her tour because she never has before, which I always thought was funny considering how much she reveres it. Overrated anyway.

The 2023 tour is due to kick off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm and will then continue making stops throughout Europe in cities such as Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London , Marseille, Amsterdam and Warsaw, to name but a few.

Beyonce will then take her chart-topping tunes across the water to North America, performing shows in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Houston.

Other key cities that are expecting a visit from the Crazy In Love singer include Brussels, Barcelona, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Louisville, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tampa and Vancouver.

Fans heading to her concert may have a little more time to release their wiggle. According to the Mercury News , the show won't adhere to the regular 10 p.m. weeknight curfew at the venue, thanks to an extension granted by city officials.

Instead, Beyoncé can now plan on grooving right up until 11 p.m.

What can we expect?

This is Beyoncé's fifth visit to the South Bay venue. Previous shows include the 2018 On the Run II Tour alongside Jay-Z, the Formation Tour in 2016, and her debut performance at the stadium for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show in the same year.

Reports from the show's kickoff in May describe her Renaissance World Tour as a "sensory-immersive experience." It uses video projections, animations and digital displays to "blur the boundary between reality and the Bey-taverse," according to the SF Chronicle .

While the show focuses on her recent album "Renaissance," there will also be songs spanning her two decade-long career -- including hits like "Dangerously in Love" and "Run the World (Girls)".

There won't be any other supporting acts before Beyoncé's performance -- all we need is Queen Bey.

What do you wear?

Beyoncé has made a birthday Virgo season request for all her remaining shows: please, BeyHive, wear your silver fashions.

"My birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23-9.22," she posted on her Instagram story. "We'll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other's joy. Virgo season together in the house of chrome."

Can you still get tickets?

Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour stop in Santa Clara is sold out, but you can still get them through resellers. Ticketmaster's verified resale tickets start at $310, and StubHub for $292. Prices will change as the concert approaches.

What you can and cannot bring into Levi's Stadium

The biggest thing to know is that Levi's Stadium bag policy is that they only allow clear bags. Anything that is non-transparent is not allowed.

The only exception for a non-transparent bag is a clutch bag smaller than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.

Approved clear bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". These include the following clear bags:

  • Clear Backpacks
  • Clear Fanny Packs
  • Clear Purses
  • One-gallon clear plastic zip lock type bags
  • Small Clutch Bag (the size of an adult hand) (4.5" x 6.5")
  • Seat Cushion

Here are a few of the things you can bring:

  • Binoculars shorter than 6 inches (case prohibited)
  • Cameras with 3-inch lenses or shorter (no lights, tripods, selfie-sticks or monopods)
  • Diaper bags accompanying a child
  • Flags smaller than 2' x 3' (No Poles). They cannot be attached to the facility in any way.
  • Plastic water bottles (factory sealed, no-alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
  • Reusable transparent water bottles (no-alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
  • Plastic water bottles (sealed)
  • Seat cushions
  • Strollers (contact the nearest Playmaker if in need of storing)
  • Sunscreen & hand-powered misters
  • Umbrellas (no obstruction of other fans view)

What to know about parking, drop-offs at Levi's Stadium

According to the Levi's Stadium website , they recommend buying a pre-paid parking pass online and arriving early.

As for dropping off a group of people, Levi's has said there will be a special parent pick-up zone on both nights but those details have yet to be released. It appears the best place to make a drop-off is Great America Parkway, between Tasman Dr. and Old Glory Lane. This is the same location rideshares will drop off concertgoers.

The pick-up location at the end of the concert is in Red Lot 7.

To find out more details about parking and drop-offs see the stadium's policies here .

Can I tailgate at Levi's Stadium before or during concert?

The short answer is no. Levi's Stadium prohibited tailgating for the Taylor Swift's concerts and the same goes for Beyoncé's show.

"There will be no designated viewing area outside of Levi's Stadium. Fans without event tickets will not be permitted to congregate in parking areas or on the streets."

Also if you do not have a ticket to the concert and want to listen from outside Levi's Stadium, officials say that won't be possible. Only ticketed fans will be allowed into the parking lots.

Oasis reunion live: Tickets officially sold out - as fans complain about surge in prices

Tickets have now sold out for the Oasis reunion tour that will see Liam and Noel Gallagher reunite fifteen years after their band split. The band will play 17 shows across London, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin as part of the Oasis Live 25 world tour.

Saturday 31 August 2024 22:43, UK

Some ticket websites crashed

  • Oasis tickets sold out
  • But Ticketmaster tells people to check back later
  • Ticketmaster under fire for dynamic pricing which saw tickets go up from £150 to £350 for some who had queued for hours
  • Fans share anguish over wait for tickets - as sites crash
  • Oasis warns fans against buying resale tickets at inflated prices

We're bringing our coverage to a close.

Scroll back to see our updates throughout the day as tickets for the Oasis 2025 reunion tour went on sale, and sold out hours later.

If you wanted an indicator of just how much ticket prices have increased since Oasis last toured the UK, then look no further.

Tickets from three Oasis gigs - one just months before Noel quit the band - show how ticket prices have skyrocketed, with a floor standing ticket at Wembley in July 2009 priced at £38.10.

The same ticket for the 2025 reunion tour started at £151.25.

If that's not painful enough, a ticket for the second of two nights that Oasis performed at Knebworth Park in August 1996 - gigs which attracted 125,000 people each night - cost £22.50.

While a concert in April 1996 at Manchester City football club was even cheaper at £17.50.

The Ticketmaster website currently says there are no Oasis tickets available, but encourages fans to "check back later as more may be released".

It is unknown if the cryptic message refers to tickets becoming available through resale, or if another batch of tickets is yet to go on sale.

Meanwhile, the websites for Gigs and Tours and See Tickets are still displaying a holding page warning that the website is "very busy" and visitors will be redirected automatically when a space becomes available.

Following on from our last post, Oasis fans have begun reacting to the fact tickets can only be resold at face value.

Taking aim at Ticketmaster's 'dynamic pricing' - which can increase the price of tickets based on demand - one fan questioned whether the value for a floor standing ticket was £150 or £350.

Another fan wrote: "Face value unless it's on Ticketmaster? Time to look back in anger."

While a third added: "Face value is whatever the ticket was bought for. If the ticket was bought for £150, it's £150. If it was bought for £350, it's £350."

Fans have complained about the hike in ticket price throughout the afternoon, after some ticket prices more than doubled - pushed up by huge demand.

The demand-based system was implemented by Ticketmaster in 2022 which it said was intended to stop touts and give more money to the artists themselves.

The company said earlier today that it does not set prices, and shared a link to its website where it says costs can be "fixed or market-based".

Tickets for the Oasis Live '25 Tour are officially sold out, according to the band.

A post on the Oasis X account issued a third warning about counterfeit and void tickets appearing on unapproved resale websites.

It said tickets can only be resold on Ticketmaster and resale website Twickets and for face value.

It's difficult to portray how big Oasis were if you didn't live through it, with no British guitar band matching their status since.

Here are five reasons that show their appeal then and now...

According to the NME, Oasis have sold more than 75 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time. They had eight UK number-one singles and eight UK number-one albums. Their biggest album - (What's The Story) Morning Glory? - sold 22 million copies and is the fifth-biggest-selling album in British chart history, behind greatest hit compliations from Queen and Abba, plus Adele's 21 and The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Newsworthiness

The brothers' fractious relationship made them big news in the mid-90s. They were arguably second only to Princess Diana for the frequency with which they appeared on the front of the tabloids. Their rivalry with Blur, which peaked when the bands released singles Country House and Roll With It on the same day, making television news bulletins on the BBC and here at Sky News.

It is said that 4% of the UK population applied for tickets to the band's two shows at Knebworth in 1996. The lucky 250,000 saw concerts that are still talked about today - but Oasis could have sold out another 18 times.

Downing Street

A sign of the Gallaghers' influence came with an invitation to Downing Street in 1997 by  then new prime minister Tony Blair, who was riding on a wave of so-called Cool Britannia.

Wonderwall was the first 90s song to reach one billion streams on Spotify, while Radio 2 last year had Morning Glory and Definitely Maybe as the top two most-streamed albums from the 1990s. The popularity of hits such as Don't Look Back In Anger has endured for several generations, becoming an anthem in the wake of the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017.

"I think it’s a calmer Liam Gallagher now," Dominic Mohan, former editor of The Sun, has told Sky News while discussing how he thinks the upcoming gigs will go.

He said the band appeared to have matured and said Liam "describes himself as Zen-like," adding: "I think he's very professional and they'll make it work."

Reminiscing about how the band used to act in their heyday, he said: "If you think back to the 90s, you never really knew which Liam you were going to get.

"I remember going to Tokyo to see the band and bumping into Liam in a hotel bar, and he talked to me for two hours about the birth of his child, and it was a very poignant interview, but at the end of it, he threw a pint of Guinness at me.

"So it's that sort of dichotomy really, of him back then."

He added: "He was only in his early 20s when Oasis exploded. So for the last 30 years, he hasn't really had to grow up.

"But I think over the past few years he's had a little reflecting and this is the moment he has craved, getting back on stage with Oasis."

Mr Mohan said he was still in the queue for tickets, adding: "I would hope to be there whether or not it can live up to the glory days of Knebworth… but it’ll be a great night out."

While Oasis fans are seeing prices above £350 for tickets, it's far from the first time fans have felt the pinch when trying to see their favourite artists.

Last year, Bruce Springsteen fans paid upwards of £120 for "rear pitch" standing tickets for his tour, while some expressed disappointment recently over the £145 price tag of standing tickets for Billie Eilish's 2025 UK leg.

And while you could have nabbed Beyonce or Taylor Swift tickets in the UK for £50 (before fees) if you took a "nosebleed" seat, these had limited availability and quickly sold out.

General admission standing tickets for Swift's Eras tour started at £110.40 and those at the front had to shell out £172.25. It didn't stop there - by the time many fans got to the front of the online ticket queue, the only tickets left cost upwards of £300.

So what's behind rising ticket costs? The  Money blog   investigates some of the reasons...

Oasis reuniting is all very well - but which Oasis might we see on stage?

The band went through numerous incarnations after forming in 1991 with Liam, rhythm guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, bassist Paul McGuigan and drummer Tony McCarroll - later being joined by Noel.

So who are the definites and the maybes - and who won't be seeing - in a reformed Oasis?

The only remaining founding member, Liam's snarling vocals brought his brother's songs viscerally to life - and his swagger and unpredictability (quitting a US tour hours before the plane was due to take off, deciding he didn't fancy taking part in a coveted MTV Unplugged session, and getting arrested along with the rhythm section on a ferry to Amsterdam - where the band in their early years had been due to perform a crucial gig to industry bosses) made the band so compelling before it all got a bit tired as the 1990s wore on.

Songwriter Noel is the only other ever-present, if you discount walking out of a few tours here and there, including for three months in 2000 when he was replaced by Mother Earth's Matt Deighton.

Taking over rhythm guitar duties following the departure of Bonehead in 1999, the musician has managed to remain close to both Gallaghers, performing in Liam's Beady Eye post-Oasis and currently a part of Noel's High Flying Birds.

The story goes that original member Bonehead was struggling to abide by Noel's no-alcohol rule as the band tried to recover from the critical mess that was 1997's Be Here Now. When Noel suggested he could be fired, Bonehead was said to have quit. In recent years he has performed with Liam, with the presumption being that he and Noel were not talking  - but, replying to a fan on Twitter last year, the 59-year-old revealed the pair had recently spoken and were on good terms.

Now, the original Oasis bandmember is set to rejoin Noel and Liam Gallagher for their reunion tour - that's according to The Sun.

Maybe

Chris Sharrock

The only other Oasis member to join the brothers in their respective solo projects is Chris Sharrock, who was in Oasis from 2008-09. He seems the most likely presence on drums.

This one seems unlikely - but not impossible. Bassist Bell performed with Liam's Beady Eye but was said to have a frosty relationship with Noel. However, in 2023 Bell's band Ride supported High Flying Birds.

Paul 'Guigsy' McGuigan

The founding bassist has rarely been seen in public since he quit the band weeks after Bonehead. According to Noel, Guigsy announced his departure by sending the band a fax. He declined to take part in the Supersonic film in 2016 and in 2019 Liam said: "Not seen him since he left the band and he only lives up the road."

Tony McCarroll

The original drummer was fired in 1995, before the band went from being the next big thing to the biggest band on the planet. There were accusations of bullying but the upgrade in drumming from debut album Definitely Maybe to (What's The Story) Morning Glory? is unquestionable. McCarroll tried to sue Oasis for £18m but settled for £550,000 out of court in March 1999, giving up future royalties.

Oasis's longest-serving drummer, having been recommended to the band by Paul Weller upon McCarroll's sacking in 1995. White was thrown in at the deep end, his debut performance coming on the BBC's iconic Top Of The Pops for the band's first number one, Some Might Say. He was fired in 2004, with the reasons remaining unclear. White has stayed out of the public eye ever since.

Zak Starkey

White's replacement, son of Beatles drummer Ringo, performed with the band from 2004 until 2008. It was reported he fell out with Noel, with his ongoing commitments with The Who a suggested point of tension.

‘I'm that girl': The making of Jordan Chiles' Beyoncé-inspired gymnastics leotard

The star gymnast wanted her leotard to resemble an outfit beyoncé wore on tour. here's how the design, and all of team usa's garments for the paris olympics, came to life., by mike gavin • published july 18, 2024 • updated on july 30, 2024 at 6:15 pm.

The crowd in the arena watched as one Beyoncé song after another was played.

All eyes focused on centerstage — the music, the movements, the mystique of a world-class performer in her element. The lights from above sparkled off a bedazzled and vibrant outfit befitting only of a queen.

"I'm that girl," Beyoncé has said. But on that night, that girl was Jordan Chiles .

The Team USA star transformed the mat at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships into a concert stage. During her floor routine, Chiles recreated the look, sound and vibe of Beyoncé's Renaissance world tour.

So much so that she asked GK Elite , the sportswear company that manufactures apparel for Team USA gymnastics , to design a custom leotard inspired by a highly expressive outfit worn on tour by Beyoncé.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce)

"It had more colors than anything we’ve ever seen on it," Matt Cowan, chief executive officer of GK Elite, said of the leotard. "It was truly like a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns and prints."

Across the chest of the leotard are red and pink stripes that are complemented by blue, orange, green and pink checkered patterns. That array of colors is embellished by roughly 4,400 crystals -- including the garment's focal point, a front jewel replicating the customized necklace and body chain worn by Beyoncé.

"We were like this is really cool, something different," said Kelly Christman, GK Elite’s vice president of gymnastics. "It's not necessarily something we would normally see from our teams or our athletes, but it was individually her. She kind of sets her tone as she's fun, she's bold, she's 'That girl.’"

Becoming 'That Girl'

It began with a photograph from Jordan Chiles — an image of Beyoncé wearing a colorful full-body Giardino print with a matching hat and jeweled body chain at her birthday concert in Los Angeles last September.

The photo made its way from Chiles' phone to a computer screen at GK Elite headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania — a city about an hour and a half outside of Philadelphia best known for being the pretzel capital of the world and the former hometown of Taylor Swift.

The local focus was now on Bey, not Tay.

"Usually when an athlete has an inspiration photo, we pull that photo into our files to then build a leotard based off of that," said Macy Bell, GK Elite's gymnastics custom designer. "So, for this one, a large part of the inspiration photo is the multi-colored print, so we pulled that in here in a very similar way."

The company’s gymnastics design team then began making sketches on Adobe Illustrator, combining elements of the inspiration request with the well-known leotard performance preferences of one of its premiere athletes.

GK Elite, the world’s largest manufacturer of gymnastics apparel, has outfitted Olympians since 1992 in partnership with USA Gymnastics . The company has signature collections for the sport’s top U.S. stars like Chiles, Jade Carey , Suni Lee and, of course, Simone Biles -- who is the Jordan Brand of gymnastics apparel.

Each athlete has their own preferences, styles and degree of input on their leotard designs. Prior to the Tokyo Olympics , Biles requested that the image of a goat be placed on her leotard , which represents her rightful status as the sport's greatest of all time.

Forced to withdraw from nearly all events in Tokyo while experiencing a form of disorientation known in the gymnastics community as "the twisties," Biles' customization on her competition leotards ahead of the Paris Olympics had more of a motivational tone.

"Over the past two years, she had a quote which says, 'Still I Rise,' which is a testament to her self-empowerment, her strength and, to every athlete, perhaps a message that says you can get back up from anything," Cowan said. "And she certainly has."

Chiles, a 23-year-old from Oregon, is highly involved in her own designs, adding flair to a garment that was inspired by a 32-time Grammy winner but individualized by an Olympic silver-medal winner.

“To differentiate it and to bring more of Jordan’s style into this leotard, we also added this zig-zag cut across the body that is highlighted again with crystals because it accentuates the body lines and also draws your eyes across the patterns,” Bell said.

Further differentiating the leotard from Beyonce's outfit is a lace-up design that goes across the body and gives dimension to the print, and crisscross layering binding straps on the upper back.

Chiles also helped design a white, crystal-laden leotard inspired by a nude-illusion catsuit worn by Beyoncé in Las Vegas, which Chiles debuted later at the championships.

While Beyoncé has to sing and dance in her outfit, Chiles must contort her body through the air in hers, making fit and flexibility even more crucial than style.

“That’s a very important part that a lot of people don’t remember is you have to have some sort of opening,” Bell said. “So, we want to make sure that we have a functional leotard that also has the personality and has the character of each athlete in it.”

Behind the curtain

Jordan Chiles

The production floor at GK Elite is like a gymnastics mat to the company's roughly 500 employees. It’s where they complete an intricate routine, the end-product of which will be seen across the world.

Whether creating a Beyoncé-inspired leotard or a Team USA uniform, the GK Elite staff are the personal tailors for Olympic athletes.

“Their hard work, that athlete is taking a little bit of that with them onto the mat,” Cowan said. “And the experience and the pride that comes out of this building when a gold medal is draped around a garment that was created here in Reading, Pennsylvania, that’s the most exciting part for me.”

When a leotard design is first created, it starts out as a line drawing. It then goes to the pattern department, where four-way stretch fabric is spread and laser cut for proper fit in the pattern department before being bundled by athlete size and alteration.

Sublimation printing is then used to transfer laser-printed custom artwork from paper to fabric via heat press to lock in the garment’s vibrant colors.

Laser-cut appliques are then hand-placed and glued to the body of the leotard to ensure proper placement before being stitched. Swarovski jewel motifs are applied by heat transfer, with some applied by hand and other fill-in jewels by laser machine.

The garment is then sent to the sewing floor for the finishing touches, including the embroidering of elements like the GK Elite logo and the signatures of premiere athletes.

The design and creation of the Beyonce-inspired leotard took roughly six months from start to finish.

“Each year we manufacture 10,000 leotards a week, about 2,000 a day,” Christman said. “In an Olympic year, we are close to half a million to a million leotards a year.”

From Queen Bey to the USA

The U.S. women's gymnastics team

The Beyoncé-inspired leotard is, as her song says, irreplaceable.

It's a one-of-one design for the athlete who first imagined it, whereas Chiles' leotards at the 2024 Paris Olympics will be one of five for each woman who qualified for the team.

The leotards worn by each member of the U.S. women's gymnastics team by rule must be uniform, meaning the time for personal style and self-expression is typically during classics and championships in the leadup to the Games. The designs for this year's set of eight women's uniforms combine elements of U.S. patriotism, such as a star constellation, with odes to the fashion capital of the world, such as the use of pearls for the first time.

"We wanted to make sure that people know it is unmistakably Team USA," Christman said. "So, red, white and blue and some really unique features and fabrics that you’ll get to see in Paris."

"And," Bell added, "they will be disco balls on the floor, which is fantastic."

The design process for the Paris Olympics leotards began two years ago with a team of five GK Elite designers presenting a design board to USA Gymnastics.

In previous Games, the leotards were not revealed to the public until the team stepped onto the mat at the Games. That changed this year, with the women's gymnastics team unveiling them on the TODAY Show two weeks before the Olympics, with replicas immediately for sale.

"We really wanted to create a wear-while-you-watch moment," Cowan said. "In every other sport, people are wearing the jerseys of other athletes while they’re watching them…We wanted to provide that same experience to our athletes so that they can wear the leotard of their favorite athlete, their Olympic team while they’re competing. We envision little girls doing handstands in front of the TV while Simone is nailing her dismount."

'Crazy in Love' with the leotard

Chiles and GK Elite were crazy in love with the Beyoncé-inspired leotard.

"Jordan really loved it. I think it might be her favorite. I don’t have confirmation, but I think it might be her favorite," Bell said. "We also really like it here because it’s a very fun leotard, it’s very different from other pieces that we do and it really makes a statement, which we really like. And because it’s such a fun inspiration image you can do a lot with it which opens up a lot more for creativity."

Beyoncé has not publicly commented on the leotard design or on being the inspiration behind it.

She did send Chiles an autographed copy of her vinyl album "Cowboy Carter" with a heartfelt handwritten message this week, just days before the Opening Ceremony in Paris .

"Congrats to you Queen," Beyoncé wrote. "I always watch you with pride and admiration. Thank you for reppin' us. Good luck to you! All of your hard work and sacrifice shines bright. Praying for you and wishing you the best."

In closing, she wrote, "Love your twin Beyoncé."

Twins occasionally wear matching outfits. Does that mean she saw and approved of Chiles’ leotard?

"I think Beyoncé would actually probably love to wear it," Christman said with a laugh. "I think that she would be flattered to know that Jordan drew inspiration from one of her costumes from her tour."

Because they are both that girl.
