Excellent show with all members performing well. The venue was good with a great crowd of happy fans some new and some old,
Basically if you like Band maid you want be disappointed because they deliver the goods.
My favourite is always the lead guitarist, I have so much respect for her for her obvious talent and enthusiasm while playing.
I’m a big Rock fan but love a twist on the genre which Band maid produces white unique sound.
You can’t compare them but their own style rocks leaving you in an up temple mood.
If you don’t mind not understanding the lyrics but you can get them translated online which gives insight to the song. The lead singer is excellent performer and pulls the band together. Her voice is not main stream style rock but don’t judge her because it will grow on you. The Japanese culture so different from Europe so listen to the band from a Japanese perspective as a rock fan and you will love it

I followed this tour across the US and Miku, Akane, Kanami, Misa and Saiki were better each show. They were loose, confident, and really connected well with the adoring crowds. The musicianship and vocals: spot on, as usual. They did roughly 20 songs a nite - a solid, 2-hour set. Totally satisfying sets. A real fan-band love fest and kick-ass performances by the Maids.
With the exception of the House of Blues-Dallas, the venues were fine to excellent-decent to great view of stage, sound OK, front lighting not so good-hard to see musicians when they stepped up front for a solo.
Again, with exception of House of Blues-Dallas, staff were friendly, helpful, pretty nice.

The concert hall itself was an OK site, it would have been better if it would have been a single room with the same width as the stage.
Non the less, the concert itself was just burning with energy.
It was just that great, the band really enjoying their music and seeing their fans and the fans really enjoying the music and seeing one of their favorite bands.
After the concert I can say that I am a bigger fan than before, u got to experience them live to really feel their power.
Wish it would have gone longer to be honest, here's hoping they will come to germany again next year =)
Great great great.. These Girls Rock..

Hope i can See them a second time in Berlin..<3
I've seen Band-Maid nine times at various locations in Japan, some big shows and some smaller. Each one was an amazing experience. I was even lucky enough to meet the girls themselves at Shibuya Tower Records while they were promoting the Conqueror album. Don't be fooled by the cute image. These girls are accomplished musicians and they rock hard!
楽しかった・ほんとに素晴らしいだった
Great ambiance, great music, truly band maid is one of the best rock band you could find out there.
Merch is nice, people are nice, and Band Maid members are really taking a lot of fun performing, you can see the passion right through their faces.

Who are Band-Maid and what do they want?
We talk to Band-Maid's fearless leader Miku Kobato about the band's origins and just what the hell is going on
Japanese all-girl metal sensations Band-Maid are heading out on their first European headline tour later this year, and we just have no idea what to expect. After Babymetal took the UK (and the rest of the world) by storm , could these five girls follow in their rather impressive footsteps? And what makes them stand out (other than the gothic maid outfits)? We had a quick chat with lead vocalist Miku Kobato to find out…
For those who don’t know about Band-Maid, what are you about?
“Band-Maid’s concept is about creating contrast – how we look and how we sound are worlds apart. One is cute and submissive in nature, the other is wild, powerful and dominant. I thought that idea was interesting. Basically, we want to defy expectations.”
How would you describe Band-Maid’s music?
“Contrast.”
Where did you get the idea to use maid outfits?
“I used to work in a maid café! I would wear cute uniforms every day and entertain our customers, who we call masters and princesses. At the same time I was really into metal and rock music, and I thought how different the two worlds were. Here I am at work, singing super cute songs to a milkshake – it’s how we make them extra tasty – but on the way home I have my headphones in, blasting Maximum The Hormone. I thought that it would be cool to combine cute uniforms with cool music, so I set about recruiting the members of Band-Maid.”
Maid outfits aren’t exactly rock ‘n’ roll. What is your ultimate heavy metal costume?
“Now Band-Maid’s outfits are part of rock n roll, so we pick these!”
You’ve released three albums in three years, where do your ideas keep coming from?
“We want to make more exciting records. We have so many ideas that we just keep unleashing them and see what happens. Coincidentally, today is our third year anniversary! We want to keep going, pushing further and further.”
People in the UK know about Babymetal , but Band-Maid are relatively unknown. How are Band-Maid different to Babymetal?
“We play our own instruments.”

Is there any competition between Band-Maid and Babymetal?
“We don’t feel that we are rivals, we have huge respect for Babymetal. To see a Japanese act work so hard and be recognised outside of Japan by so many respected musicians and fans – it’s amazing. We can only hope that one day our determination gets us anywhere near that level of recognition.”
Your music videos have received millions of views, do you get recognised in the street?
“Nope! Would be lovely if we did though! Maybe I should wear my maid uniform next time I pop out to get ramen…”
You’re heading to Europe in October, have you visited Europe before?
“Only the UK so far! We were invited to do a serving at MCM London Comic Con in May of this year. It was so fun! We did three performances throughout the weekend and many thousands of masters and princesses came to see us. When we weren’t on stage we were at JPU Records’ booth signing autographs. Then we had a quick celebratory beer (I had Boddingtons, it was delicious) and flew back to Japan.”
What are you most looking forward to about the UK?
“We’re looking forward to hearing the noise of British masters and princesses.”
Why should people listen to Band-Maid?
“We’re not a pop idol group! Don’t judge us on how we look. We want to blow you away with our heavy rock sound.”
Band-Maid will tour Europe at the following dates:
12 October: The Underworld, London, UK 13 October: MTC, Cologne, Germany 15 October: Headcrash, Hamburg, Germany 16 October: La Boule Noire, Paris, France 19 October: Hydrozagadka, Warsaw, Poland

An Avril Lavigne greatest-hits run and Charli XCX raves are on the schedule.
It’s finally summer, which means the busiest season for live music has officially commenced. Amid countless festivals (and the boutique-ier tropical experiences ), the hottest ticket might actually be a regular old concert, as it seems anyone who’s anyone has plotted out a course to play the United States in the coming months.
From legacy rock acts like Blink-182 and Green Day, to industry titans like Missy Elliott and Jennifer Lopez, to pop stars Charli XCX and Maggie Rogers, arenas across the country will be playing host to major band reunions and dance-until-you-sweat raves. Below, NYLON rounds up the 18 must-see tours to catch — including our notes on what to expect and the best way to pregame .

Red Hot Chili Peppers
When : May 28-July 30
Who’s opening : Rapper Ken Carson , Kid Cudi, Irontom, Wand, Ice Cube, Seun Kuti & Egypt80, and Otoboke Beaver open on select dates.

The pregame soundtrack: The band’s 2023 album, One More Time...
Jennifer Lopez
When: June 26-Aug. 17
