Despite every effort to book a twin room, after booking I was told that availability would only be confirmed on the day at check in, subject to availability. I found Voyage Privé response very patronising and unhelpful, calling it a ‘minor’ issue. Why would I want to pay hundreds of pounds for the privilege of sharing a bed with my mother. A refund was impossible only a credit minus £35 fee, shocking! Won’t be using again!

I’ve always had a very positive experience with Voyage Privé but yesterday was a nightmare. I don’t know what was going on but I seemed unable to pay. In all honesty I gave up and it was only by chance that I returned to it later and suddenly it was all working. If I’d have had an engagement then the booking would not have been made.

The offers are good value. However customer service is poor. A recent slew of issues occurring during our latest holiday were addressed by a representative who I can only think did not have English as a first language and contradicted herself in e.mails to the extent that we eventually gave up trying to get her to understand our issues. Reparation was made which we accepted but the whole process was exasperating. I would not use VP for a tour again, only for a hotel booking.

I had a shock when my credit ran out without warning and disappeared from my account. Your chat bot then told me I couldn't get it back and left a frowny emoji. I was not impressed as this was over £500! When I rang up, your human colleague was brilliant and extended it no problem. It was a worrying night though before I could ring you. You might like to look at your chat bot reply. It was totally inappropriate!

The deal is good but nowhere near as good as the savings claimed compared with booking direct. It took about an hour and a half from making a decision to make the booking, not all down to Voyage Privé, but some was (having to log in multiple times for no clear reason, poor site navigation e.g. if you tick the box for a 2 night stay, finding how to get back to 1 night is really hard -- it remembers that choice and you have to find a tiny link in an obscure place half way up the page to finally work out how to change the number of nights again. Even closing the tab and opening a new one and logging in again, it still remembers the 2 night choice... rather frustrating experience

Misled and let down

Misled and let down. Avoid using, they will not help, even after reaching out to their customer service team. We booked our holiday (hotel only) in February this year. The hotel ‘Zoetry Halkidiki’ was advertised as a new hotel opening in May, part of the Hyatt group. On voyage prives website, they advertised the hotel as having five restaurants and a spa and gym. The hotel didn’t open on time and the negative reviews began to pour in which was alarming to me and my partner who had booked it for September this year. We were told that the hotel will open on 1st September (which it has) however it is now a new name, not a part of the Hyatt group and is not finished. We are in contact with other travellers who are facing the same issues and their travel provider ‘jet2’ had cancelled their trip as the hotel does not meet the standards advertised. The spa and gym are not open, we have been told it’s an external partner whom is in charge. We are due to check in in a weeks time and we have asked voyage prive to assist us on changing our holiday because we have paid a lot of money (£3000) many months ago and were thoroughly looking forward to the spa and multiple restaurants which are not operating. This is misleading and voyage prive should be helping us find an alternative solution to resolve this issue. We are even willing to lose our flights which we have booked separately along with airport parking in order to be transferred to a different destination altogether. A holiday is something you save up for and work towards and look forward to but we are not looking forward to it and feel anxious about the whole situation, it’s very stressful. Our next step is to escalate this issue to our credit card company, as abta won’t be able to help in time and we are running out of time before we are supposed to be going.

Frustrated customer

We have booked a holiday through VOYAGE PRIVÉ we asked for a superior room they booked a standard room.I rang and asked them to change it.The customer service girls who are all delightful are unable to help as "it has been escalated to head office" .No one has contacted us from head office despite a daily phone call.We are more than happy to pay the difference for the upgrade but cannot get a response from this company.Very frustrating as we travel very soon.

Luxury travel at competitive prices

Voyage Privé offers a high-quality travel booking experience, with a wide range of luxury destinations at competitive prices. The platform is well-structured and easy to use, making the process of searching for and selecting offers enjoyable. However, it is not always 100% transparent in the description of the included services. Customer service is generally efficient and available, ready to resolve any problems or doubts that may arise before and during the trip. However, it could benefit from quicker response times. Despite these small reservations, our trip to Turkey was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The quality of the organization and the beauty of the selected accommodations made the experience unforgettable. We highly recommend using Voyage Privé for those who wish to discover fascinating destinations without sacrificing comfort and convenience. In summary, Voyage Privé remains an ideal platform for those looking for luxury travel at competitive prices. Despite some areas for improvement, the attention to detail and the selection of exclusive destinations make the overall travel experience very satisfying.

Great Service

VP staff were very helpful and professional. Initially, the offer on the resort we wanted was not available but when it returned they promptly advised me. After I booked the holiday, they provided regular updates. They did provide contact details for when we were on holiday but we had no reason to contact them.

Split /Brac 2 centre break - perfect

Everything ran smoothly- both hotels were what we’d hoped for. Extremely good customer service levels. In particular, all our transfers were exceptional. Staying in 2 separate hotels meant that we felt more rested and that we’d done more with our time away.

We stayed in a nice hotel in a good position, good value for money at the Voyage-Prive rates. However, on arriving at reception, we were told we only had a reservation for one night, whereas we had booked and paid for two nights. Luckily the hotel was not full, and reception sorted out the mistake with Voyage-Prive.

The proof of the pudding is when something goes wrong...

Initially attracted and used Voyage Prive due to the deals and choice of holidays. The test of a travel company is when something goes wrong. The airline cancelled our flight and Voyage Prive stepped up to sort out an extra day at our hotel. No issue at all. Attentive, helpful people sorted without any issue whilst we were on the beach! We'll be using VP again .... highly recommended...

Impressed first-time customer

I booked with Voyage Privé for the first time and was pleasantly surprised how professional they were. Flights with two different airlines, hotel and airport transfer worked without any issues. The airport transfer to the hotel was particularly impressive as our flight was 1 1/2 hours delayed. Travel documents and additional information arrived well ahead of time and were clear and useful. Emergency contact details were also reassuring. The hotel was better than described and we would stay there again. We also received an upgrade on the room we booked, I don't know whether this was due to the hotel itself or Voyage Privé. I will definitely book with Voyage Privé again.

Good standard of hotel, good food, nice staff.

Good standard of hotel, good food and helpful, friendly staff. The only downside was that we had to park at the nearby station carpark, and it was difficult to work out how to pay. In the end, I had to download an app to pay, which I don't like doing. Apparently NCP have a paypoint in the station, but it wasn't well signed about this in the carpark!

Made a genuine booking error - costs

Made a genuine booking error, tried to get an immediate refund and the charges were very high. Opted to get a credit note, which used immediately but still incurred a smaller charge. Otherwise all okay

Simply the Worst : they managed to mess my honeymoon :(

For my honeymoon, I booked a trip all inclusive in a 5 stars Iberostar Djerba. 1. First their application had a technical issue and confirmed the wrong dates: after several calls with useless people, the only option was for me (the client) to cancel to be refunded… so I could book the trip again online. 2. According to the them the trip wasn’t available but still selling on their website! 3. I booked the trip a second time, all was confirmed by mail and 3 times by their advisor till this morning - less than 24h before departure - announcing an hotel change to a cheaper, older and breakfast only hotel. I refused and they came with a worst option… 30min before they close their office at 8pm for a departure flight at 8am. Conclusion: they attract people with gorgeous 5* all inclusive hotels paying a “discount” price to finally fill second category hotels with breakfast only options… at the “same” discount price. On a personal note, I am so disgusted by those unethical practices that I find myself cancelling my honeymoon thanks to Voyage Privé. Wise advice: Don’t trust or use “Voyage Privé”… the day you have a minimal issue, you’ll discover the messy backstage.

Easy booking process, clear information on the venue and services offered

AVOID, LIKE THE PLAGUE

Well, I have learned my lesson! I signed up to Voyage Prive just out of interest to see what their holiday offers were like. I have received several emails every day since and although I have unsubscribed from them numerous times they continue to bombard me with unwanted emails and frankly, if they were the last travel company on earth I would never use them. My next step is to report them to the ICO. Now they're telling me to contact their customer service team. Well, guess what Voyage Prive.... I have tried, several times, unsuccessfully. And then they say wait a few weeks for my "unsubscribe" to work; it has already been weeks.

Very helpful. Booking is guaranteed, excellent hotel ,well organised, but sightly expensive tour company. Good customer service. I have recommended family and family.

We got a very good deal on our 4 star hotel in Paris and it was exactly as described. This is the second time we have used Voyage Prive and both have been excellent, resulting in us choosing wonderful hotels we would never have come across otherwise.

5* from start to finish

5* from start to finish. I'd never used Voyage Prive before and was dubious about the offer. I called and spoke to a very helpful advisor. Everything was as booked. Private transfer to and from our airport/hotel. 5* hotel. Very helpful but not pushy rep. Wonderful break away. I will use again and have recommended to everyone.

Awful service - Booking ID - 100431082VPUK

Really annoying and frustrating experience with them. Selected a 7 night holiday on their website but when the booking was confirmed it was only 5 nights. Have called and emailed asking them if we can update the booking to 7 nights and that we're more than happy and willing to pay the difference. But they're refusing to help, I showed them a screenshot of the booking that is still available for 7 nights asking them if they could just transfer the booking over but again not willing to help at all! Keep asking for proof of me selecting 7 days which is now impossible to provide as the holiday is already booked. Also not able to cancel now as we booked the holiday a week before and they want a 75% of the booking to cancel! Booking ID - 100431082VPUK

Very rude advisor !

We had a credit of £69 with Voyage Prive which had been with them for some time, but when I booked a one night stay at a hotel for my wife and me expecting the credit to be taken off the invoice it wasn't. When I contacted VP they gave the excuse that the credit had expired 3 weeks earlier. When I said we weren't informed we were told 'It's on the website'. When I explained that the money held is MY money they (Aleksa) weren't interested in the slightest and hung up on me ! The moral of the story is 'Make sure you don't leave money with them' I always thought they were a decent company but you live and learn.! Following on from this review I contacted VP by email stating my concerns and they promptly refunded my credit and added it to my latest invoice reducing the price by £69. Full credit to the Customer Service department for their prompt and considerate action !

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel, clean and comfy. A little remote, without any shops nearby. The hotel shop could do with more supplies and better variety.not any use for anything. The breakfast was lovely although cold at times. Staff were lovely but you could do with more of them, especially in the bar. We really enjoyed our stay, only down side was lack of nearby shop and its remoteness. Maybe a shuttle bus in the evening to get to old town, instead of paying 20.00 euros each night on taxis.

I have now booked three incredible trips through Voyage-prive.co.uk and have become slightly addicted to scanning through all of the stunning locations and unbelievable deals. I love how efficient booking a trip is, the full holiday price is displayed right next to the dates in the calender making selecting a holiday economical. Venice last week exceeded all expectation, now looking forward to Mexico in November!

Insufficient service while on trip

Our holiday was quite stressful to start with when transfers to the hotel did not show. As emergency contact is only open during UK's working hours, we could not contact to ask where the transfers were unless we waited 4 hours. We were not informed as to who our holiday rep was or how to book our free excursion until we chased ourselves, where we met the rep half way through the holiday to give us a tour of the hotel. Half the documentation sent to us was in French where we were told to use an online translator whilst on holiday to translate into English. When going on holiday to relax, Voyage Prive create a stressful environment for you.

Good but a few tweaks could make things better

Fairly good but somethings need improving for 5 stars Most correspondence is in French ! This is not useful if you are selling holidays to people in the UK. Parts of the deal shown were not exactly correct at the resort, which was disappointing. We booked our own flights as those offered were not suitable. Overall we enjoyed the holiday and resort. Although this was enhanced as we upgraded the villa from the basic one in the deal.

I only use 4 or 5 companies to book my…

I only use 4 or 5 companies to book my vacations, and I can honestly say that most of my holidays are booked through Voyage Prive, and one other comparable competitor. The quality of accommodation and location is always great, and I am quite fussy! I am yet to find another provider that offers prices and locations on par; and I am a frequent traveller. I have been using them for circa 14 years or so now, and they will continue to be my 'go to' holiday provider.

The staff at the hotel were all exceptional

The Hotel is four star without a view of the sea but the gardens at the back surrounding the pool are lovely. The rooms were beautiful and clean with modern bathrooms and very good housekeeping towels and linen were regularly changed. Breakfast was delicious with fresh breads, and local produce including fruit, nuts and honey, plenty of choice for hot food, scrambled eggs were particularly good. The staff at the hotel were outstanding with ALL of them being exceptionally helpful, courteous and polite, making us feel as though they really cared about our holiday and our enjoyment. All the staff deserve a mention as across the board they were all absolutely delightful from housekeeping to reception and management. Although the hotel is on a busy road, the beach is easily accessible - just across the road and down a side street. The island is worthy of exploration and Corfu old town is a delight. A boat trip is a good way to do this and the local trip from the beach with BBQ can be recommended. The bus service is easy to use although taxis are also available. All in all a very lovely experience as a first taste of Corfu.

Zero support

Zero support, zero customer service, entirely rude. Have been using them for 5 years and it has just got worse and worse to the point of never using them again.
