Can you say panoramic? Of course you can, and of course you live for that sort of thing — that’s why you’re visiting the lovely  Lake Powell . But can you say “panoramic” in five languages? While on one of the many Lake Powell boat tours offered from Wahweap Marina in Page, Arizona, (near  Horseshoe Bend  on the Colorado River and  Antelope Canyon ) you’ll have the option to hear an audio tour, with the included audio set, in one of five languages: English, German, French, Italian, and Japanese. So you might learn a thing or two (It’s “panoramica” in Italian, by the way).

Why hire a tour? Take in the high contrast of Lake Powell's placid, cool blue waters and colorful warm shores without worrying about maps or logistics. It's for boat lovers, lake lovers, sightseers and tourists from all over the world; it's for people who want to get on the water but don’t want to take all day for a boat tour and folks who don’t want to deal with the logistics or cost of renting their own boat. You’ll board a vessel with folks from all over the world to see the sites that the lake has to offer. The Panoramic Lake Powell Tour offered by ARAMARK at the Wahweap Marina is an excellent option, and heads across the state line to visit some of Utah’s majestic buttes only seen from the water.

A Grand and Relaxing Evening Tour

The Panoramic Lake Powell Tour takes you by a double-decker boat out to Gunsight Bay and back. This is an excellent option for those who don’t want to deal with the logistics of renting their own boat (or they can’t, for whatever reason) and would prefer to sit back and relax, and take in some views.

As you head out of the marina, you approach Castle Rock (get your cameras ready) and pass east through the Castle Rock Cut, which grants you quicker access to Utah and beyond. The audio set provides historical information about the Native Americans who once called this area home, about the first explorers of the Colorado River — like John Wesley Powell (the lake’s namesake) — and the eventual damming of the river that created this massive body of water and reservoir for the West. Enjoy some refreshments and a nice cool breeze as you coast across the water. While this tour doesn’t stop to let you out of the boat (some of the longer Lake Powell boat tours do), you will venture far and be able get close to the awe-inspiring natural wonders of canyon country. Note the “bathtub ring” which marks the lake’s high point at one time, and take panoramic photos once you reach Gunsight Bay. The boat then turns around, and you can take it all in again. This tour departs at 5 p.m. and returns at 7 p.m.; the two-hour duration is an ideal amount of time to get a softer sun and long, beautiful shadows from the area’s rock formations for your excellent pictures. It's also a good fit for road trips through the region with a  base camp to adventure  in Kanab, Utah.

Boarding begins approximately 15 minutes before scheduled departure time. Check  availability  here. Travelers generally take Lake Powell boat tours during the warmer months of the year, April through October. • Entrance Fee:  Be aware we are located within the Navajo Nation land and an entrance fee of $30.00 is required to enter. (National Park Service Pass, Golden Age Pass, Senior Pass will get you in free of charge.
• Tours:  Tours are weather permitted and can cancel due to extreme weather. Once the tour begins there are no stops along the way or upon arrival.
• Cancellation Policy

If cancellations are made at least 48 hours prior to the tour date, the ticket price will be refunded, excluding the booking fees. For cancellations, made within the 48 hours, all fees are non-refundable. For tour groups of 10 or more people, cancellations need to be made 72 hours prior to the tour date for a complete refund, excluding booking fees. Antelope Point Holdings, LLC. reserves the right to reschedule or cancel boat tours due to adverse weather, lake conditions or insufficient number of people. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling by us, your payment will be refunded, or applied to another trip at your discretion.

No, our boat will depart on time. We will move your tour to a different time or day if space allows it.

Seats are only guaranteed if you make a reservation either online or over the phone providing all payment information.

With the low water levels, are you still operating?

Yes, if we need to cancel we will contact you. Low waters are not effecting our operation.

Why do we have to check-in 45 minutes prior?

Getting down to our office requires getting a golf cart ride down, cart service is busy and they may not be available right away.

Where do I go?

If it is your first time at our prestigious marina, you should first park your vehicle at our customer parking, locate guest services at the turnaround, and ask for assistance to your destination. Most of our facilities are down on the lake and need cart transportation.

How close are you to Horseshoe Bend?

Horseshoe Bend is a 15 minute drive away with a vehicle.

Wakeboard/Water Ski Boat Charters : Using MasterCraft boats with all the options for our Lake Powell boat charters is unique, also having trained and professional guide(s) who love their job, and enjoy serving, teaching, and sightseeing on Lake Powell will make your trip all the more enjoyable. What do you get with this service, and what can I do? You can choose the MasterCraft boat of your choice, we will fully load it with all the top end water sports equipment you can think of; wakeboards, water skis, slalom skis, knee board, tube, wake skate, wakesurf, life vests, ropes, and more. The trained guide will drive and take care of the boat at all times so you can enjoy being on the lake. You can sight see, learn or get better at any water sport instruction we offer; wakeboarding lessons, wake surf lessons, water ski lessons, kneeboard lessons, air chair lessons, tubing lessons, and wake skate lessons. You can swim at your favorite cove, and lounge on the beaches; it’s all up to you.

Jet Ski and Boat Tours : This is for those groups who like to see all the different places at Lake Powell, used with the same wakeboard boats and 3 person jet skis as our rentals; one might ask, will there be enough room for our large group to travel to rainbow bridge? Yes of course! Our largest boat seats 18 people, plus if you need several boats to accommodate a larger corporate, family, or business group we have you covered. There is one large cooler, shade, and comfortable seating on all our boats. So bring food, sunscreen, and anything else you may need. You can even choose to add jet skis or do a tour with jet skis only. There are some beautiful canyons at Lake Powell that can only be traveled through with waverunner rentals.

Water Sports Lessons and Instruction Charter : This is for the person or group who want to take their skills to the next level; how better to accomplish this goal then at Lake Powell? Each instructor has their own unique skills to help you improve and learn new, and advance skills in wakeboarding, water skiing, wake surf, kneeboard, air chair, double skis, and slalom skiing. We have instructors ranging from beginner, intermediate, advanced, and super advanced for all these water sports.

Houseboat Vacation Charters : If you are going several days at Lake Powell getting a houseboat is one way of doing it. There’s nothing like eating, sleeping, and riding on Lake Powell in your houseboat rental with all the conveniences of your own home. We can help with driving, docking, and anchoring your houseboat rental. You can have our driver the whole vacation, or just when you need him it’s up to you. Most of our customers use our wakeboard/ski boat charter, and waverunner rentals while on their houseboat vacation. This makes taking care of all that watercraft equipment easy to manage.
