American supergroup Hollywood Vampires announce their UK return with a July 2023 tour. You just can’t keep a good band down. Forced to cancel their planned 2020 tour due to the pandemic, the special bond that ties the members of the Hollywood Vampires to the UK has brought them back at the earliest opportunity.

Making no secret of their love of classic British rock n roll, they pepper their blistering sets with songs from The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Motörhead and more.

Alice Cooper: "Well, it’s already been three years since the Vampires have toured because of Covid. Also, Johnny has his movies, Joe’s in Aerosmith and I’m in Alice Cooper, so we have to look at that whole thing and see when we can all get a month or two off where we can go out and tour. And, we are going to be doing that, next summer coming up, 2023. I can't wait to get back with the guys, I really love being in that band. My band is great and wonderful, but playing with the Vampires is an entirely different situation. I don’t necessarily do any theatrics at all, I’m just the lead singer, in a band, and the band just happens to be one of the best bands around! It’ll be great to see Johnny and Joe and Buck and Chris and all the guys. We’ll be rocking these places, especially the UK, I can’t wait to get to the UK! Lock your doors, put garlic all around, because the Vampires are coming!"

The self-described “best bar band in the world” consists of core members and rock legends Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Aerosmith´s Joe Perry, together with guitarist Tommy Henriksen. Their tradition is to play a riotous tribute to the great lost heroes of music and their own original material, released on their studio album ‘Rise’. With stone cold classics by the likes of The Doors, Love, AC/DC and the rest, plus of course Alice and Aerosmith’s hits, the band was voted the “best performance” of 2018 at London’s Wembley Arena on their last UK journey.

The three legends first came together to record in 2015, bonding over a shared love of their favourite songs and a desire to celebrate their ‘dead, drunk friends’ by playing the music of the fallen heroes. Named after Alice’s 1970s drinking club that included the likes of John Lennon, Keith Moon and Mickey Dolenz, legendary performances ensued around the world.

The 16-track album ‘Rise’, produced by Tommy Henriksen and the Hollywood Vampires, is one of the purest, most unapologetic and enjoyable rock and roll albums of recent times, made by masters of the craft and true fans of the form. Unlike their 2015 debut record, the second album consists mainly of original material, written by the band. There are, however, in the spirit of the Vampires’ original mission, three covers of songs originally written and recorded by legendary rockers who died far too young. ‘Rise’ is released on earMUSIC.

San Francisco band The Tubes will also be supporting on all UK Tour dates (except Scarborough) from 7 July onwards.

Rock supergroup the Hollywood Vampires will play the first date of their UK tour in North Yorkshire

Johnny Depp will kick off a UK tour with his band the Hollywood Vampires in Scarborough next summer.

The rock supergroup, which also features Alice Cooper and Aerosmith's Joe Perry, will play their first UK date in North Yorkshire on 5 July.

The band was forced to cancel its 2020 tour due to the pandemic.

Mr Depp shocked music fans in May when he appeared on stage in Yorkshire with guitarist Jeff Beck during a defamation trial in the US involving the actor.

The band, along with guitarist Tommy Henriksen, will come to the UK after a run of dates in Europe.

Lead singer Alice Cooper said he cannot wait to get back on tour with the Hollywood Vampires

Cooper said: "I can't wait to get back with the guys, I really love being in that band.

"My band is great and wonderful, but playing with the Vampires is an entirely different situation.

"I don't necessarily do any theatrics at all, I'm just the lead singer, in a band, and the band just happens to be one of the best bands around. It'll be great to see Johnny and Joe and Buck and Chris and all the guys.

"We'll be rocking these places, especially the UK, I can't wait to get to the UK. Lock your doors, put garlic all around, because the Vampires are coming."

The supergroup will play their first UK tour date in Scarborough

The tour starts at Scarborough's Open Air Theatre which has played host to a number of superstars in recent years, including Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, who both began their respective UK tours in the spa town.

Mr Depp joined musician Jeff Beck's European tour to play guitar and sing at Sheffield City Hall in May , after a jury had started its deliberations following a six-week trial in Virginia involving Mr Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard.

The US jury found Ms Heard defamed ex-husband with an article in which she claimed she was a victim of domestic abuse. Ms Heard, 36, won one of three counter-claims against Mr Depp.

The Hollywood Vampires play songs in tribute to the "great lost heroes of music" as well as their own original material from their 2015 self-titled debut album and their 2019 release Rise.

The tour includes stops in Swansea, Manchester, London and Birmingham before ending in Glasgow on 12 July. Tickets go on sale on 28 October.

Johnny Depp will tour the UK next year, with his rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires.

The celebrity band - which is made up of Alice Cooper, Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Depp - will kick off in Scarborough in July 2023. Guitarist Tommy Henriksen will also join the tour.

The group was previously forced to cancel their 2020 tour due to the pandemic.

Depp - who earlier this year won a multimillion-dollar defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard - has been throwing himself back into his music of late.

The 59-year-old performed alongside rock legend Jeff Beck at multiple concerts including Sheffield, London, and Gateshead while he was waiting for the verdict of the jury trial to be returned.

The pair later announced a joint album, titled 18, which featured two original tracks alongside a number of classic rock covers.

Depp also made a surprise cameo at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards - joking with the audience he "needed the work" as he was projected on stage dressed as an astronaut.

The actor had sued Heard over a 2018 article she wrote for The Washington Post about her experiences as a survivor of domestic abuse, which his lawyers said falsely accused him of being an abuser.

Representatives for Depp said he had lost work opportunities and high-profile roles, such as being dropped from the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, after the accusations.

Following his trial win, there have been rumours the actor may even return to the Fantastic Beasts franchise .

The Hollywood Vampires traditionally plays songs in tribute to the "great lost heroes of music" as well as some of their own original material.

The band have two albums - their 2015 self-titled debut album and their 2019 release Rise.

Did my Meet and Greet had a brief conversation with Johnny Depp was able to thank him for making me smile when I went through chemo treatments for a couple of years on and off. I would watch him on interviews and I would laugh at a time when laughter was not often.Johnnyis not particularly fond of interviews and promoting movies.Johnny took my hands and hugged me and kissed me on the cheek and asked is all ok now I said yes all is good ,I just wanted to thank him. THEN they moved me along. I said to Alice pleasure to meet you I have been following you like forever.Tjen came Joe I said nice to meet you and your grand daughter just turned a year old on the 11th of May he just looked at me and said what just as i wad gonna walk away he points at me and said OH YER and smiled. The concert was FREAKING AWESOME to hear Johnny finally show himself. He always said he couldn't sing unless in character. Well JOHNNY DEPP YOU BLEW ME AWAY WITH YPUR SOLO'S .FROM THE HEART SO HAPPY FOR HIM. IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE THIS IS A MUST SEE CONCERT. THE TALENT ON THE STAGE IS ABSOFUCKINGLUTLY INCREDIBLE. ♥♥♥

I bought the $1500 vip package where I got to meet the band and get front row seating and everything. I bought it cause I thought it would be sick to meet Johnny Depp. Obviously.

Well... The meet and greet started 1.5 hours later than they said It would. Then when it finaly started, we each got literally FOUR SECONDS to see the band. We had to talk as the pictures were being taken. 4 seconds no joke. And if you want to talk totem at all you risk ruining your pictures. Soooo Meet and greet sucked.

That being said, the concert itself was great. Awesome show.

It was a great show Johnny Depp was awesome, very talented! Even though Joe Perry was not present, Alice's guitar player was amazing. I really love the Hollywood Vampires and I hope they are around for a long time. I would love to see them again with a Joe Perry;best wishes for a speedy recovery. Excellent show and "fun" fundraising experience! I was very surprised at the extra effort band members went to to connect with the audience. I came to Phoenix from Oregon to see the Pudding Show with my family including my eleven year old son with full Alice make up. I hope to see it again next year!

They put on a great show and joe perry even came on stage for one of they're encore songs at the end. I was at the Detroit show so they made sure to perform some songs that had been written there. Amazing, would definitely see them again

The show in Denver was awesome! Alice Cooper was at his best! Joe Perry is one of the best guitar players ever! Johnny Depp did a rockin job on the song Heroes by David Bowie! Fantastic night of rock! Will go see them again!

The Hollywood vampire concert was amazing! I would go again, and again, and again if I could !!! There were so many people of different ages, some for Alice, and of course some for Johnny Dep!! It was just fantastic!

Hollywood Vampires at Manchester AO Arena — tickets, supports, stage times and more

Remember when that trial was all we could read about? Well, now you can hear about him playing guitar instead.

On Saturday, 8 July, one of the biggest names at the box office and on the music scene arrives in Manchester as actor Johnny Depp and his supergroup, Hollywood Vampires, continue their UK tour.

And not without controversy, of course, as the Hollywood superstar himself is gradually returning to the spotlight following his long-running and high-profile court case against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Having won the defamation suit back in June of 2022 , Depp moved to the UK where he currently resides on his Somerset estate and while there are reports he could return to the screen as Captain Jack Sparrow in the new Pirates of the Caribbean film, he’s focusing on his music for the time being.

Forming Hollywood Vampires in 2012 alongside rock legends Alice Cooper and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, the bad are undoubtedly bigger now than they have ever been and having kicked off the UK leg of their tour earlier this week in Scarborough, it’s time for the Mancs to show them what a real crowd looks like.

Are there tickets left to see Hollywood Vampires in Manchester?

If you’re a Hollywood Vampires fan or simply just a Johnny Depp stan (we know there are a lot of you out there) and you’re hoping to grab yourself a last-minute ticket, you’re in luck, as there are still a fair few seats available.

While all the standing spaces have sold out, the AO Arena still has room in five different sections around the venue ranging from between £45 and £56.50 without fees — though they are all in the very top tiers.

Nevertheless, if you want to grab a ticket, you can grab yours HERE and if you’re looking for a spare in a prime location, you can always keep your eye on resale sites but, as always, proceed with caution and only ever buy from trusted sites.

Support acts

You only have one support act to warm you up for Hollywood Vampires’ Manchester gig, but boy aren’t you lucky with who you’re getting: San Francisco cult heroes, The Tubes .

Hitting their heights of popularity in the 1970s and 80s, they were never the biggest band and (in this author’s case) we only know of them because of our parents’ exquisite music taste, but they had some serious bangers in their time — Depp and co. certainly seem to think so too.

Contemporaries, former bandmates and friends of Alice Cooper himself, many of the original members may have passed away, but The Tubes are still playing to this day and we’d be happy to see them for this absolute bop alone.

Hollywood Vampires’ AO Arena stage times

It’s gonna be a pretty straightforward affair this weekend: doors to the venue open at around 6pm and the music itself with be starting from 7:30pm as rock veterans The Tubes take the stage.

Looking set for around an hour-long set followed by a half-hour break, you can expect the main event to start around 9pm, with the Hollywood Vampires playing until the usual 11pm ballpark curfew.

Then again, they are vampires so maybe they’ll stay up all night.

As mentioned, Hollywood Vampires kicked off their latest run of shows in Scarborough earlier this week and played Swansea on Friday, so we have a pretty good idea of what they’re going to be playing for the Manchester audience.

Depp spent much of last year playing with both the Vampires and Jeff Buckley , so he’s grown more than accustomed to British crowds — let’s not forget he lives here now.

We’re already looking forward to seeing people inevitably bumping into Captain Jack, The Mad Hatter, Willy Wonka or whatever character you choose to associate him with at some random pub in town like it’s the most normal thing in the world.

God, it’s been a big few days of Manchester gigs, hasn’t it?!

Oh, how the months roll over; we can’t believe it’s the end of May and we’re on to yet another list of amazing Manchester artists for you to get stuck into.

We’re sure you’re already on to most of them, you cultured lot, and even if not, that’s what we’re here for.

If you’ve not found yourself on this monthly series before, the concept is pretty simple: every few weeks we spotlight the most exciting Manchester bands and artists we’ve had on our radar recently.

Revolutionary, we know. But seriously, it’s as important as ever that we big up the names coming out of our region, so let’s not waste any more time, shall we?

1. Pale Waves

This time we’re starting off with the wonderful Pale Waves who we recently had the pleasure of seeing at Slam Dunk North over in Leeds.

It’s always good to see Manc bands drawing big crowds on the festival circuit and they certainly did that. These guys have been making a big name for themselves for a few years now and are even set to headline the Neighbourhood all-dayer in the city centre later this year, so it’s no surprise really.

We’ve been lucky enough to catch them live a few times now but if you’ve never heard their mix of pop-punk, alt-rock and often twinkly 80s-influenced indie before, we’d say start with ‘Television Romance’, work your way to ‘There’s a Honey’ and then ‘Jealousy’. That should give you a good broad-strokes idea.

Next up is another fast-rising homegrown talent in Corella , who finally dropped their debut album, Once Upon a Weekend , at the start of this month and we’ve been rinsing it ever since.

Infectious modern indie typified, we’ve been listening to these lads ever since ‘Barcelona Girl’ and they just keep getting better – as typified by them selling out the O2 Ritz on… oh, would you look at that? It’s tonight.

If you didn’t get a ticket for their landmark hometown show, you can also catch them at NBHD 2024 and as for what tracks you should listen to in preparation, the single from 2017 that we’ve already mentioned is where we started, ‘Drifting’ is in our rotation and simply nothing beats ‘Bloom’. A great running track.

3. Matthew Halsall

A big genre change now and we’re going modern jazz . Make that spiritual jazz, to be specific, and it’s certainly how we feel when we listen to this bloke: in tune with our spirit.

The Manc trumpeter, composer and producer has a real knack for making music that you want to relax, create and cook to, as well as a whole host of other moods. We often find him playing whilst staring out the window with a brew or with our heads back on the sofa as we close our eyes and simply drift away.

As for your jumping-off points, ‘Calder Shapes’ crops up in our playlists most often but ‘Cherry Blossom’ is a lovely lo-fi option on a chilled Sunday afternoon, and his tune ‘Into Forever’ with his record label’s Gondwana Orchestra is another gentle but transportive favourite of ours. We could go on forever.

4. Rosellas

In at number four, we’ve got Rosellas , who’ve steadily worked their way up through various club sets across the UK and North in particular, even playing City Square over at the Etihad Stadium, and are now starting to gain even more traction.

They can turn their hand to most stuff really, be it the all-important catchy hook, a decent indie bouncer or the equally communal feeling soft, acoustic-driven ballad, but there’s something very 90s/early 2000s and quintessentially Manc about their music.

We’ll admit that we can’t quite place what it is beyond perhaps the guitar riffs themselves, but maybe you’ll have better luck than we have so far. Our trio of picks are ‘Slowdance’, ‘Switch Off’ and ‘Damaged’.

Last but not least, we’ve got a band so new to the Manchester music scene that they’ve only got two songs out for you to get stuck into but we’re going to be watching them closely indeed.

Don’t be fooled by the name, they’re a four-piece with hints of everything from Inhaler to Catfish and the Bottlemen, as well as pretty much every current indie band that’s doing anything good in modern indie rock, hence why we think they’re going to pick up momentum quickly.

The best part is, you can get on the bandwagon early by listening to ‘Subconscious’ and ‘C’est La Vie’. Plus, if there’s one thing we know about bands from around here it’s that they graft and we’re going to guess that you can expect another new tune soon enough.

It’s almost time for tens of thousands of people to flock to the fields of Heaton Park for this year’s Parklife festival, which is bigger than ever in 2024.

The huge festival brings together the biggest names in dance, house, hip hop, grime and electronic music for two days of partying.

This year’s line-up is arguably its biggest yet, featuring headline performances from Doja Cat, Disclosure, Becky Hill and loads more.

And even with the incredible European debut of Fisher and Chris Lake’s Under Construction now pulled from the line-up , it’s still set to be Manchester’s biggest party of the year.

If you can believe it, it’s been  14 years since the first-ever Parklife was held  and since then it’s gone on to be not only a Manc music institution and rite of passage, but one of the most famous festivals around the world – we’re just lucky it happens to be right on our doorstep.

With that in mind, here’s everything you need to know about Parklife 2023, from who’s playing and where to how you’ll be getting there and back.

Parklife 2024 line-up

The city’s biggest music event has lined up huge names like Doja Cat, Disclosure and J Hus to perform over the weekend of 8 and 9 June.

Returning Parklife favourites Peggy Gou, Becky Hill, and Four Tet are also heading up the huge 2024 Parklife line-up.

The pop and R&B side of the line-up will be taken care of by names like Sugababes, Anne-Marie and Mahalia.

Also on the bill will be Kaytranada, Camelphat, Rudim3ntal, Nia Archives, Hybrid Minds, Patrick Topping, Barry Can’t Swim, Folamour, Dom Dolla, Casisdead, Wilkinson, Shy FX: Specials, Interplanetary Criminal, Sammy Virji b2b Interplanetary Criminal, Kenya Grace, ANOTR, PAWSA, TSHA, Girls Don’t Sync, Max Dean, Hedex, Bou, Uncle Waffles, Skream, Jyoty, Loco Dice, Sub Focus and loads more.

Tickets for Parklife 2024

The good news if you’ve not yet booked your Parklife tickets is that there are still some available, whether you’re picking a day to go or want to take on the whole weekend.

And this year,  Parklife has reduced the price of tickets – a first for the industry and part of its commitment to keep festivals financially accessible.

Day tickets for either Saturday or Sunday cost £79.50 (plus booking fees), while weekend tickets are £135 plus fees.

How much is a VIP upgrade and what does it get you?

Having done a fair few Parklife festivals now, we can confirm that the VIP upgrade is well worth the money.

You’ll get fast-track entry to the festival (no queues for you!), and access to a whole separate area of the festival to relax in.

The VIP area at Parklife has exclusive DJs, a street food market, cocktail and spritz bars, lockers, fast-track loos, a make-up artist and glitter station, and even a streetwear stall by Suzy Loves Milo.

It’s £35.50 to upgrade a day ticket to VIP, or £34.50 for weekend ticket-holders – again, check here to book yours.

Stage splits for Parklife 2024 headliners

It’s always the eternal question for festival-goers – how am I actually going to see all this amazing music and one weekend, and who’s going to clash this year?

Parklife has already confirmed the stage splits for its 2024 instalment, so we know exactly who’s going to be playing which stage.

Stage times aren’t out yet but usually drop a good few days before the festival – you can download the Parklife app ( here for Apple, here for Android) for all you need to know.

How to get to and from Parklife festival 2024

As Parklife is a non-camping festival, getting home at the end of the night is always a question people ask.

Organisers make it as straight-forward as possible for people to get back home after the stages wrap up in Heaton Park.

The fastest and easiest way to travel to and from Parklife is with the official Parklife Travel Pass, a partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester (Bee Network), Manchester City Council and Parklife, which allows you to travel on the direct Parklife Shuttle Bus and Metrolink service from Manchester City Centre.

Buses will operate back into Manchester from the early evening, until the site is clear, and fans should use the NORTH EXIT of the site for the bus departure point.

Tickets are just £5.50 per day.

Hollywood Vampires first came together to record in 2015, bonding over a shared love of their favourite songs and a desire to celebrate their ‘dead, drunk friends’ by playing the music of the fallen heroes. Named after Alice’s 1970s drinking club that included the likes of John Lennon, Keith Moon and Mickey Dolenz, legendary performances ensued around the world. With stone cold classics by the likes of The Doors, Love, AC/DC and the rest, plus of course Alice and Aerosmith’s hits, Hollywood Vampires were voted “best performance” of 2018 at London’s Wembley Arena on their last UK journey. The 16-track album ‘Rise’, produced by Tommy Henriksen and the Hollywood Vampires, is one of the purest, most unapologetic and enjoyable rock and roll albums of recent times, made by masters of the craft and true fans of the form. Unlike their 2015 debut record, the second album consists mainly of original material, written by the band. There are, however, in the spirit of the Vampires’ original mission, three covers of songs originally written and recorded by legendary rockers who died far too young.

The Hollywood Vampires announce UK arena tour

Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, Johnny Depp and Tommy Henriksen will bring the Hollywood Vampires to The UK next summer

American supergroup The Hollowood Vampires have announced a UK tour. 

The band – whose core members are singer Alice Cooper , plus guitarists Joe Perry, Johnny Depp and Tommy Henriksen – will kick the six-date run off at the Open Air Theatre in Scarborough on July 5, and wrap things up at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on July 12. The schedule also includes a show at the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London (full dates below).

"Well, it’s already been three years since the Vampires have toured because of Covid," says Cooper. "Also, Johnny has his movies, Joe’s in Aerosmith and I’m in Alice Cooper, so we have to look at that whole thing and see when we can all get a month or two off where we can go out and tour. 

"I can't wait to get back with the guys, I really love being in that band. My band is great and wonderful, but playing with the Vampires is an entirely different situation. I don’t necessarily do any theatrics at all, I’m just the lead singer, in a band, and the band just happens to be one of the best bands around! 

"It’ll be great to see Johnny and Joe and Buck and Chris and all the guys. We’ll be rocking these places, especially the UK, I can’t wait to get to the UK! Lock your doors, put garlic all around, because the Vampires are coming!"

“Next Summer it will be finally time for the Hollywood Vampires to rise again!" adds Perry. "We can’t wait to play the songs from our latest album, Rise , for all our fans across the pond. The excitement builds as we countdown the days! See you all then... remember, leave the garlic at home!”

Support will comes from Seether (all shows) and glam-punk legends The Tubes (all dates apart from Scarborough). Tickets go on sale on Friday 28 October at 10am from AEG .

Wow and need more..

Beautiful venue. Great acoustics. The band was terrific. It was cool to see drones recording for a documentary/video about the group. The crowd was a mix of generations, talking before doors opened. Only downside - guys threw out guitar picks during and after....just nothing for us in the balcony or more than a few rows back.

Drove 11 hours too new york too see my favorite band Hollywood vampires. Me and my best friend had a ball. These group of Rockstars know how to rock and entertain there fans all over the world. I hope to God the will be a usa tour this year with a meet and greet please. As soon as one comes along I need to know. I had great seats got to see my heroes up close was worth every day driving to New York. I meet a nice person who I became friends with that's the these beautiful men 💕. 2023 made me so happy.

Front row baby, not in the middle but front row, WOW!!! Hollywood Vampires rocked the stage, first time seeing them and they sure delivered. I felt like I was 18 again rocking out, beautiful venue, clean and everyone was helpful and friendly. Got I few guitar picks, could come down from the high for a week!!!!! Outrageously amazing show....

One of the best concerts ever. They rocked the house in New York. These guys still knows what it takes to pack in a crowd of bloodsucking vampires Slayer's who wants nothing but to rock out til the sun comes up. Then we must retreat back to our Castlevania to sleep for another bloodsucking tour that calls all of us blood sucking slayers out to watch them again. Hail to the Hollywood vampires. Fantastic Performance by all!!!

When do you get to see Icons from your favorite groups in one band? This was a bucket list event for me and I am so happy to have gone! Would do it again in a heartbeat!!! Was there to support Johnny Depp but wow, WHAT A SHOW!!!! Can’t wait for the next tour!!

Loved the show, just wish there was a big screen showing the performers. Couldn’t see the band from my nose bleed seats. Music was great!

It was an amazing experience....my sister and I were chosen to go behind the gates and meet the band while waiting at the stage entrance...we were interviewed twice and I got an autograph from Alice Cooper and Tommy Hendrickson...we also met Buck Johnson and Chris Wyse.....the Boch Wang Theater was absolutely stunning in itself...overall the whole show was out of this world as we were the luckiest two there....Hollywood Vampires did not disappoint!!!

All we can say is: WOW!

One of the best concerts we have attended this year. Alice, Joe, Johnny & Tommy rocked the house with original selections, classic Alice Cooper selections, and a number of Aerosmith selections.

Johnny Depp will embark on a UK tour with his band the Hollywood Vampires next summer.

The rock supergroup – which consists of Alice Cooper , Aerosmith ’s Joe Perry and Depp – were previously forced to cancel their 2020 tour due to the pandemic.

The band will visit venues across London, Swansea, Glasgow, and more, covering tracks from some of Britain’s best-loved rock musicians including David Bowie, The Who and Led Zeppelin.

Describing themselves as the “best bar band in the world”, the Hollywood Vampires formed in 2012. They’re named after The Hollywood Vampires club, which was a celebrity hot spot formed by Cooper in the 1970s.

Cooper explained how it had been difficult to get the tour scheduled due to members’ clashing schedules.

“I can’t wait to get back with the guys, I really love being in that band. My band is great and wonderful, but playing with the Vampires is an entirely different situation,” Cooper said.

“It’ll be great to see Johnny and Joe and Buck and Chris and all the guys,” he added. “We’ll be rocking these places, especially the UK, I can’t wait to get to the UK!  Lock your doors, put garlic all around, because the Vampires are coming!"

Perry said: “Next Summer it will be finally time for the Hollywood Vampires to rise again! We can’t wait to play the songs from our latest album, Rise , for all our fans across the pond.”

San Francisco band The Tubes will be supporting on all UK Tour dates (excluding Scarborough).

Earlier this year, Depp was involved in a high-profile defamation trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard, who alleged that he had abused her.

Heard was ultimately found by a jury to have defamed Depp by implying he abused her in a 2018 op-ed published by The Washington Post . The Aquaman star was ordered to pay Depp $10m (£8m) in compensatory damages and $5m (£4m) in punitive damages.

However, the jury also awarded Herad $2m (£1.6m) in a countersuit, ruling that one of Depp’s attorneys had defamed her by characterising her abuse allegations as a “hoax”.

Hollywood Vampires anounce UK tour dates

Hollywood Vampires have today announced a UK tour for 2023, taking in arenas around the country.

Alice Cooper , Joe Perry , Johnny Depp and Tommy Henriksen bring their "best bar band in the world" to our shores for the first time since 2018, vowing to pay tribute to their British rock heroes by peppering their sets "with songs from The Who , Led Zeppelin , David Bowie , Motörhead and more."

The tour kicks off in Scarborough on Wednesday 5th July 2023, before calling at Swansea (Fri 7th July), Manchester (Sat 8th July), London (Sun 9th July), Birmingham (Tue 11th July), and culminating in Glasgow (Wed 12th July).

Support comes from South-African hard rockers Seether, and San Franciscan punk legends The Tubes.

Tickets to all dates go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 28th October.

Hollywood Vampires announce 2023 arena tour

The Hollywood Vampires – Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen – are hitting the UK next year…

Hollywood Vampires have announced a 2023 UK arena tour with Seether and The Tubes.

The supergroup – compromised of Alice Cooper , Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen – will “rise again” next summer for six shows in Scarborough, Swansea, Manchester, London, Birmingham and Glasgow.

“Well, it’s already been three years since the Vampires have toured because of COVID,” says Alice Cooper. “Also, Johnny has his movies, Joe’s in Aerosmith and I’m in Alice Cooper, so we have to look at that whole thing and see when we can all get a month or two off where we can go out and tour. And, we are going to be doing that, next summer coming up, 2023. I can't wait to get back with the guys, I really love being in that band. My band is great and wonderful, but playing with the Vampires is an entirely different situation. I don’t necessarily do any theatrics at all, I’m just the lead singer, in a band, and the band just happens to be one of the best bands around! It’ll be great to see Johnny and Joe and Buck and Chris and all the guys. We’ll be rocking these places, especially the UK, I can’t wait to get to the UK! Lock your doors, put garlic all around, because the Vampires are coming!”

Joe Perry adds: “Next summer it will be finally time for the Hollywood Vampires to rise again! We can’t wait to play the songs from our latest album, Rise, for all our fans across the pond. The excitement builds as we countdown the days! See you all then…remember, leave the garlic at home!”
