About this show.
One of Ireland’s funniest comedians, who produces laughs like a magician produces rabbits from a hat. With a growing reputation as a stand-up around the world, including an appearance at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, he originally made a name for himself in Ireland with his contributions to the satirical panel show Don’t Feed the Gondolas and then stepped into the mainstream limelight with the hit show It’s A Family Affair.

Dara Ó Briain: So, Where Were We?
Don't miss dara ó briain when he brings his new show 'so, where were we' to the sec armadillo glasgow on 20th april 2023.
About Dara Ó Briain: So, Where Were We?
Dara Ó Briain is back on tour, with a brand new show! At the end of his last tour, Dara had performed the show Voice Of Reason 180 times, over two years across 20 countries, from Auckland to Reykjavik, from Moscow to New York; and by March 2020 he was ready for a break! He would now like to apologise for saying that and will never wish for anything like that again. Yes, he’s back on tour, and he will never stop again, because that’s clearly what caused all this trouble. Instead, in his new show So, Where Were We? Dara will hardly mention the last year and a half, because, Jesus, who wants to hear about that, but will instead fire out the usual mix of stories, one-liners, audience messing, and tripping over his words because he is talking too quickly, because he’s so giddy to be back in front of a crowd.

With nearly 150 years under its belt, the oldest theatre in Glasgow remains a major player on the Scottish scene, acting as home to both the Scottish Opera and the Scottish Ballet. In 2013–14 the Heritage Lottery fund made it possible for the theatre to undergo a major renovation. It reopened in December 2014 with completely redesigned foyers, a new box office, improved bars, more toilets and a roof terrace, plus a dramatically modernist foyer building by Glasgow architects Page\Park. The theatre now contains an interactive exhibit outlining its history and a cafe, Vanilla Black at the Theatre, which is open all day.

Dara Ó Briain is back on tour, with a brand new show!
At the end of his last tour, Dara had performed the show Voice Of Reason 180 times, over 2 years across 20 countries, from Auckland to Reykjavik, from Moscow to New York; and by March 2020 he was ready for a break!
He would now like to apologise for saying that and will never wish for anything like that again.
Yes, he's back on tour, and he will never stop again, because that's clearly what caused all this trouble. Instead, in his new show 'So, Where Were We?" Dara will hardly mention the last year and a half, because, Jesus, who wants to hear about that? Instead, Dara will fire out the usual mix of stories, one-liners, audience messing and tripping over his words by talking too quickly because he's so giddy to be back in front of a crowd.
After the huge international success of his last tour, 'So, Where Were We?' which sold out 173 venues across 20 countries and was named UK Comedy Tour of the Year 2023 (Chortle), Dara's new show 'Re:Creation' sees one of Ireland's finest live comedians back doing his favourite thing: standing in a theatre, telling stories and creating madness with the audience. It's guaranteed to be a very, very, funny night.
