307 retrofit cruise control help
- Add to quote
Hi everyone, I got a 2004 307 sw 1.4 hdi and after looking every post, checking my car if its possible, I retrofit a cruisecontrol on my car. But there is a problem. To make a long story short, in pp2000 in the ecu configuration, i only get 3 options wich begins with “ without cruisecontrol”. There is no option called with cruise control. At the customer mode i can set the cruise control on and see on the dashboard. But when i try to active while driving (100km/ph, 5 gear) i only get - - - and the cruise control does nothing. I tried every option ( 1A, 2B, with limiter, without limiter) And in pp2000 i see the response when i test the cruise control. is there somebody with the solution how i can get the option “with cruise control” in the ecu? Because i think that is the only thing that stops me from using cruise control. Sorry for my grammer.
It has been my understanding to date that if the car didn't come with the option, nether will the BSI / ECU, as in the circuits will be missing.
Have you tried diagbox as sometimes you get extra options. What ECU do you have as sometimes you can enable with remapping software
i use the program diagbox. But after i choose 307 it works on VAN and from there it only opens pp2000 program. I’m gonna look tommorrow wich ECU i have. But the engine type was Bosch EDC16C3
It looks like some early edc16c3 ecu's did not have cruise code in the ecu software. An update to the software to a later version can allow you to enable it. I have never tried it but some people appear to have been able to to perform a off line upgrade using planet/diagbox as it has some coding data integrated into its database. I would think you need a online update to recode or maybe clone/transfer your pin/security data to a later software duplicate ecu Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk

I retro fitted cruise control on my 2005 2.0HDi a few years ago and detailed how I did it on this forum. I only had a 2 wire brake switch and had to put an extra wire to the ECU to connect to a 4 wire switch on the brake pedal. In the programming I had the same problem as you in that I got the --- on the dashboard but cruise control would not work. I am not sure whether that was with 1A or 2B. I changed to the other setting and found that cruise control works but there is no indication on the dashboard. The cruise control works perfectly in this mode. Hope this helps
Thanks for your response. On my brake pedal i have 4 cable switch so i think thats that not problem. Its just the ecu thats not have the option.

I have a peugeot 307 sw 2005 petrol. i bought a cruise control (without limiter) stick and installed it. there are 4 choices on peugeot planet 2000 menu. 1.) variant A (while driving, no cruise message on board, not working) 2.) variant B (cannot adjust to that option because it returns automatically variant A again)
I got a 2004 307 sw 1.4 hdi and after looking every post, checking my car if its possible, I retrofit a cruisecontrol on my car. But there is a problem. To make a long story short, in pp2000 in the ecu configuration, i only get 3 options wich begins with “ without cruisecontrol”.
