When you travel with Heartland Tours, your trip experience will be much more than a simple bus ride. Not only are our motorcoaches clean, comfortable, accommodating for all ages, and wheelchair friendly, they are luxury vehicles with onboard bathrooms, video systems with multiple monitors, reclining seats, headrests, fold-down foot rests, climate control, tinted windows, window shades, individual reading lamps, ventilation, and more.

Each seat includes Wi-Fi, extra leg room, 110v electrical outlets, and more. We’ve outfitted our motorcoaches specifically for a comfortable touring experience.

Environmentally Conscious Bus Tours

In addition to comfort for passengers when on the road, you can also take comfort in our environmentally-friendly coaches. Our buses are fueled with a biodegradable, nontoxic, sulfur- and aromatic-free B20 biodiesel fuel. Motorcoaches are also an average of six times more fuel and energy efficient than single occupancy vehicles like cars. When measuring passenger miles per gallon, motorcoaches with over 50 passengers will still have an efficiency of 350 passenger miles per gallon, compared to the 28 passenger miles per gallon of an average car.

Carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by about 85% per passenger mile per person when driving a motorcoach. That’s about three times more efficient reduction of CO2 output compared to commuter trains and cars.

Bus tours are a great way to see Wisconsin. There are many different companies that offer bus tours, and each one has its own schedule. In general, the best time to take a bus tour is during the summer or fall.

The weather is usually mild during these months, making it more comfortable to sit on a bus for several hours. In addition, the leaves on the trees are typically more colorful during the fall, providing an extra level of scenery.

Of course, taking a bus tour during the winter can also be enjoyable. The snow-covered landscape can be beautiful, and you can often find discounts on tours during this time of year. Regardless of when you decide to take a bus tour, you are sure to enjoy your experience.

Summer 2024 Calendar Is Here!

Summertime is here this is my favorite time of the year. all of my flowers are planted and now just watching them grow is what i love to do i also love to spend time with you all on my trips. hope you find some trips that you’ll enjoy on this new calendar. please check out a couple of things i wanted to point out below..

*I have now added “Return Times” for all departure locations on all trips. In the past I would only put down a return time for Beaver Dam. I hope this helps you out in planning your day.

*I would like to point out that in this schedule, the monthly calendars go from June thru December. However please  know you can find more overnight trips and specialty trips that go beyond December – see pages 3 and 4.

*You’ll notice on page 7 there are three trips I have set up for the Beaver Dam Watermark (Senior Center). Anyone can sign up for these trips, you’ll just need to call the Watermark at 920-887-4639 to make your reservation and send payment to them. These trips (Sneaky Pete’s Wild West Dinner Show, Milwaukee Brewer Game and Christmas in the Dells Dinner Show) will depart from the Watermark only , at 209 S Center St. I will also look forward to seeing you on those trips too!

*On the monthly calendars of June thru December, you’ll see parenthesis around a town like this (Watertown) under the name of the trip. This basically is telling you where the trip starts out. Always look up the trip in the written area that has more information about that trip and the locations of pickups and times.

*It’s unfortunate that my bus company had to increase my prices, however I certainly understand with the costs of things going up. Now everything from my old calendar has stayed the same, only any new trips that I have added have increased a bit. You’ll find all the correct pricing listed on this calendar. If you have any questions, please call me.

*Something new to look forward to is a three-day trip to Jackpot Junction in Mortan MN in September of 2025! More information will be on your next calendar. I also booked a trip to the Island in January 2025. Normally I don’t book overnight trips in January – pray for good weather. Because the American Place (previously “Temporary”) was so popular, I added a couple more to the calendar. One more thing! I am also trying Menominee Casino again on this calendar. Hope you like the changes.

Until next time, please stay healthy and be safe during your travels. Hugs to you all!               Kim
