Ashley McBryde sings about old-school watering holes with proudly analog relics like cigarette machines, shuffleboard , and coin-drop jukeboxes in her just-released new song “Cool Little Bars.” It’s another track off the Arkansas native’s upcoming album, The Devil I Know , out September 8. On Monday, McBryde announced a companion tour in support of the album, also titled The Devil I Know Tour.

McBryde has long since graduated from playing charmingly divey rooms like the ones she sings about in “Cool Little Bars” — on this tour, kicking off October 7, she’ll hit some of the country’s most historic theaters, including the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, the Keswick outside of Philadelphia, and New York’s Webster Hall. There are also stops at celebrated venues old and new, like John T. Floores Country Store in Helotes, Texas, and Rams Head Live in Baltimore, along with a string of dates in January in the U.K.

“I pray time just forgets/to turn places like this/into drive-throughs and condos,” McBryde sings in “Cool Little Bars,” a co-write with Lainey Wilson and Trick Savage that freshens up country’s esteemed history of bar songs with references to gentrification and soulless corporate landscapes. As the chorus goes, “God bless two-for-ones and broken hearts — and cool little bars.” Amen, McBryde.

What an amazing show put on at the Shipping and Receiving Yard in FTW Texas. Opening act was Lainey Wilson. She was intuned with the audience and even came off stage after show for selfies and talked with many of us. Ashley was hands down into our Texas crowd and we gave it right back singing every song back for her. Quinn the drummer even came down after the show to get to know the audience and for us, that makes us bigger fans. Thank you all for coming to Texas. I Chyre Page enjoyed the small venue to see them all up close. Great job to all the staff as well. Hands down, great venue, great artists and crowd.

I really don’t think I could have enjoyed this gig any more than I did! I’ve been to some AMAZING gigs over the past few years including Luke Combs, Kip Moore and Carrie Underwood, but I honestly think Ashley McBryde topped them all! The atmosphere was great, she was vocally incredible and she just stands on that stage, exposes her heart to the audience and puts in absolutely everything she’s got and more. I got tickets to take my dad because he thinks she’s great too.. he’s been to see some class acts in his time (Springsteen etc) but even he was really buzzing from this and said he couldn’t remember the last time he went to such a great gig. We would *definitely* see her again (this was the second time I have seen her live as she was Support for Luke Combs) I just wish all the best gigs weren’t always so far away, come to Bristol!

Absolutely brilliant night, loved every second, amazing vocals and energy. I have been a fan ever since I heard Eric Church introduce Ashley on stage, such a talented lady. I had been waiting to see her live for some time and she didn't disappoint in fact was one of the best I've seen. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to see her again.

Ashley McBryde has been a force to be reckoned with since her little song that could, 'A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega,' made country music landfall in 2017.

Since then, she's been steadily churning out career standards, including her breakout hit 'One Night Standards.'

After launching her career in 2006, she's spent much of her time on the road touring with Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, George Strait, Little Big Town, Jelly Roll and more, in addition to her own slew of headlining treks. Her most recent touring escapade comes with her headlining The Devil I Know Tour , which will take her all across the U.S. and across the pond to the UK.

Since releasing her fourth studio album and the namesake for her 2023 tour, The Devil I Know , McBryde has been showcasing several of the record's cuts in her live shows.

However, with her newest touring extravaganza, all 11 of the album's tracks have their moment on the setlist, including the rock-licked 'Black Out Betty,' which serves as the show opener, empowering pick-me-up of 'Coldest Beer In Town' and the traditional country ballad 'Whiskey And Country Music.' Also making appearances from the celebrated release have been her current single 'Light On In The Kitchen' and the fiery title track, 'The Devil I Know.'

McBryde's performances also show off plenty of fan-favorites and several of her honorary hits, too, though.

In addition to her aforementioned 'A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega,' she also plays several cuts from her major label debut, Girl Going Nowhere , including breezy rocker 'El Dorado,' jammer 'Tired of Being Happy' and the album's moving title track.

A few tunes from her sophomore effort, Never Will , also usually find their way into her set lists, including 'One Night Standards,' 'Sparrow' and 'First Thing I Reach For', as well as the standout single from 2022's Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville, 'Brenda Put Your Bra On'.

For the remainder of 2023, McBryde will be traveling the globe on her headlining The Devil I Know Tour.

Grammy, CMA and ACM-award winner Ashley McBryde cut her teeth playing country songs in biker bars – and it shows. The Grand Ole Opry member’s 2018 major label debut, Girl Going Nowhere, charmed The New York Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, Paste, The Washington Post and more, all en route to landing a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album. McBryde closed out 2019 with a ACM New Female Artist, CMT Breakout Artist, and New Artist of the Year wins at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards, and earned two nominations at the 2020 Grammys for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for 'Girl Goin’ Nowhere'. Her follow-up, Never Will, was tagged by Rolling Stone as one of the most anticipated of the year alongside NPR, who also ranked her Top 10 RIAA Platinum-Certified single 'One Night Standards' as one of the best songs of 2019. The album earned McBryde a 2021 Grammy nomination for Best Country Album, making Never Will the only album nominated for Country Album of the Year by the ACMs, CMAs and the Recording Academy in the same award season. With 11 songs all co-written by the Arkansas native,The Devil I Know is set for release on September 8 2023, featuring chart-climbing lead single 'Light On In The Kitchen', along with the title track, 'Learned To Lie' and album opener 'Made For This'. In August 2023, McBryde announced plans for a major UK tour in January 2024.

Ashley McBryde Mounts ‘The Devil I Know’ Tour for Winter 2023

Ashley McBryde is gearing up for her next headlining tour.

On Monday (Aug. 7), the singer announced her upcoming the  Devil I Know Tour, which will kick off on Oct. 7 in Mobile, Ala., and extend into early 2023. The trek is named for her album of the same title, which is due for release in early September.

McBryde will begin her tour with a couple of months of U.S. dates (and one stop in Canada), and after the new year, she's taking her show overseas: The run includes several January stops in the U.K. and Ireland.

"Wild as Her" singer Corey Kent will join McBryde on tour for select dates. Bella White, Harper O'Neill, JD Clayton, Kasey Tyndall, Will Jones and Zach Top will also split the opening slot during the Devil I Know Tour.

McBryde's new album will arrive on Sept. 8, and its lead single, "Light on in the Kitchen," is already a Top 25 hit at country radio. She's also previewed the project with a handful of other early tracks, including "Learned to Lie," "The Devil I Know."

Most recently, she dropped "Cool Little Bars," a Lainey Wilson co-write that McBryde says shows her "huge appreciation for bars that have stood the test of time and have a lot of character."

Tickets for McBryde's the  Devil I Know Tour go on sale on Friday (Aug. 11) at 10AM local time.

Grand Ole Opry member  Ashley McBryde  announces additional dates to  The Devil I Know Tour  Presented by Ariat , kicking off the second leg Feb. 22 in Charleston, S.C. with 30 more dates scheduled across the U.S. through June 2024. Ashley McBryde Announces Tour Dates for 2023

Just after becoming the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry, singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde has revealed new tour dates for 2023.

The seven just-announced shows will commence in February 2023 and take McBryde to cities like Springfield, MO, Odessa, TX, Bristol, TN, and more.
