Neat experience at WB!

We had a nice time at WB! The tour guide was fantastic, really knowledgeable and shared some unique insights. Great for a fan of friends, big bang theory, Batman, and more. Parking was $15 unless you find street parking. My only negative feedback is people with kids should be separated from adults. We had two young kids, cute, but were super distracting to the tour, kicking the seats, noisy iPADs, talkative, and made it hard to hear the tour guide at many times. That is the reason for my 4 stars. Otherwise, it was neat to see.

I suggest doing one tour only. The plus is worth it, including snacks, a more extended lot tour, and lunch. We did the PLUS and TCM CLASSIC TOUR. I suggest doing one tour as they take you to the same places and say some of the same information. The tour is general is worth it.

Great tour did the private tour with Daisy she is excellent Tour is heavy in friends and big bang would like to see more of current shows.

To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We watch Turner Classic Movies on a regular basis and we were looking forward to a TCM /WB behind the scenes look. Ben Mankiewicz and company promoted this as a great TCM experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more of a behind-the-scenes look WB lot with a smattering of TCM trivia included. In all good conscience, we cannot recommend this tour to anyone that’s seeking more information on TCM movies. It was predominantly about WB.

This was a great tour. Our guide Mark had lots of interesting information and was truly fantastic. We learned so much about how movies and TV shows are made. Highly recommend this upgrade to see things the normal tour misses.

Visited Warner bros studio, it was a great tour, our guide was lovely, the sets are amazing, well worth doing.the photos at the end are a great idea.

Watching a taping at Warner Bros. Studios is a fantastic way to experience the magic of television firsthand. The exciting atmosphere, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and chance to see your favorite actors in person make it a worthwhile experience. I was able to watch here a taping of the last season of Big Bang Theory. It's fun to see the set in person, experience the live energy of the actors, and be part of the audience laughter or applause. I have also been in an event sponsored by AT&T which included a studio tour. Unfortunately, I arrived very late and missed the tour but was able to watch an interview session with Laverne Cox and Elizabeth Banks. However, I haven't been lucky to see any movie screenings here. I've secured tickets but it's not a guaranteed entry to the taping itself as seating is often on a first-come, first-served basis.

Words fall short on describing how cool and amazing this place is. So much history, so much amazing spots and so many unique things to try. The tour is so much better than the what is sounds like in website description. We got the tour+ l, 2 hours of guided tour. Upon arrival you enter the building with gift shop right in front, a starbucks and ticketing area. The tour begins right on time, with first 15 minutes in a lounge, full of snacks, bakery and drinks. The begins a WB video, after which you meet your tour guide. Our tour guide Ian was beyond amazing. He was so knowledgeable, so energetic and enthusiastic, made the whole tour extra special. First we went thru the jungle where among other the first Jurassic Park's Trex chase scene was shot. Then we went thru a town area where among others the scene from TBBT was shot, where Howard takes Shelton on scooter ride. Then we stopped at the props department where we saw thousands of movie props, including Agent smith dummies from Matrix, Casablanca's original chandeliers, horror movie props and many many more. After that we drove through the studios at the made up location of Friend's fountain and orange couch. After taking some pics, we were taken to some of the sets and to Studio 25, which was the home of The big bang theory. We got to see how the sets are created, where lights and cameras are hooked, and how sets are decorated to bring the life into it. After that, we head to the NYC area, where we saw the broadway set and the spot where Toby Mcguire did the upside down kiss in Spiderman. Then we head to the mid-west location where we saw many houses that where set for many of famous movies and shows like Young Sheldon, Gilmore girls. The guided tour is at 2 hour mark at this point and we were dropped of at Studio 48 where Central Perk cafe is, and few other surprises including the original Big Bang Theory's apartment set. With tour+ we got coupon for free entree, drink and a side. Food was decent. The central perk gift shop has many memorabilia from the show, plus so many different Friend's swag to purchase. After the meal, you enter the exhibition of Studio 48 that begins with some tribute to scriptwriting. Then there's a section tributing the art department, where they have some original costumes of Crazy Rich Asian movie. Then there's a whole section dedicated to Friends. We already had went to Friends experience in NYC, so we skipped this part. After Friends, comes the big bang theory set, where they have the guy's apartment, the hall between the guys and Penny's apartments. They have photo station here and let you take pick on the iconic couch, and Sheldon's SPOT. Being a hardcore fan of the show we spent a lot of time here. After the set, you walk to a green screen recording area. Here we had the chance put ourselves in Batman's batpod chase scene from Dark Knight. There was another green screen for Harry Porter's broomstick flying. This was real fun to do, as we got experience first hand what it feels like to be an actor in a green screen scene. From there we move on to the sound recording area, where you get to voice Morpheus' blue and red pill scene with your own voice, aka ADR. There are few other options for couple of other movie scenes to do the ADR. The tour of Studio 48 ends here, then you exit and hope on a cart to go back to the building where the tour began. As you walk to this building, you get to see a whole section dedicated to DC movies, including props and seta from batman, bat cave, superman, wonder women, aquaman. There's one spot dedicated to Game of thrones. Then there's a huge part full of Harry Porter props and sets. Finally you exit to the gift shop that we originally see at entrance of the building. The gift shop has swags from TBBT, DC, Harry Porter, Friends and many many more shows/movies. Just amazing and mind boggling!!! After the guided tour, self guided tour takes about 2-3 hours.

I hate to channel Mr. T, but pity the fool that screws with Turner Classic Movies. One of the few remaining pure plays on cable is being radically downsized by the post-merger head shrinkers at Discovery Warner Brothers. Even as I was selling blood every month to afford the stratospheric rise of cable subscriptions, TCM was one of the few networks that made the monthly extortion palatable. Launched by Ted Turner in the early '80s as a means to showcase his immense library of MGM films, TCM has become almost indispensable to the lovers of film and those who seek to preserve the incalculable cultural legacy of these titles. So naturally, the forensic accountants at Discovery/WB have no use for cheap sentimentality and are this close to nixing the entire channel. For it's part, Comcast has made the decision easier by removing TCM from their basic tier and forcing subscribers to pay $9.99 a month for the NFL Red Zone in order to continue with TCM. I could go on for days about the shake down artistry of Comcast (and the NFL) but at this point we'll have to rely on the last minute intercession of Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese to twist the right arms at Discovery. We'll just see how potent shame is but I'm not holding my breath. The recent Atlantic Monthly title about the issue "I Guess Movie Lovers Can't Have Nice Things" about says it all. Score one for the forensic accountants. One star for blatant mendacity.

I have visited Warner Bros. studios for screenings, taking friends on the studio tour, and recording music at the Eastwood Scoring Stage. All the screening rooms, from the big theater to the smaller rooms have excellent picture and sound (as one would expect at a major studio lot!). The studio tour is one of my favorites in LA: it is much more an informative experience than a theme park ride as you get at other studios...packed with interesting info about how movies are made and a look at some of the stages. This is probably niche info for Yelp, but the Scoring Stage is one of the best places to record music for film in the world and I can't recommend it highly enough!S

BRING YOUR BIG ENERGY TO THE JHUD SHOW Was selected to be a guest in the audience of a live taping for one of Jennifer Hudson's talkshow. A month prior, I watched her perform live in San Diego with the San Diego Symphony and she talked about her talk show coming up. So, I had to secure a seat!!! Obviously, I'm a J.HUD fan. SELECTION. Pick a date and hope for the best! If selected, an email will be sent out requesting date and how many tickets. Then another 1-3 days for confirmation. Week prior to the show, they will send information of where to go, what to wear, etc. SHOW DAY. Taping starts at 2:15p, check-in is before 1p (Covid tents open as early as 1130a) and you probably do not leave until 4-4:30p. Parking is provided, tents for rapid Covid testing, masks are option to wear during taping (if so must wear the purple ones that they provide). I got a front row seat even though I was towards the end of the line (showing up right before check-in while many people there for hours). The staff will tell you where to sit, not you getting to pick your seat). BIG ENERGY. Bring your big energy, you will need it. There are about 4 acts. Lots of taping and stopping and music and dancing. Yes, DANCING! It was a lot of fun. To see the famous people feet before you. To laugh at the bloopers and everything - JHUD is pretty funny. Lots of clapping... clap before, clap after, clap during breaks... I felt like I was non-stop clapping for a few hours my hands hurt. Overall, had a good time. Got some free stuff. And hope to see JHUD again in the future. Until the next review...

Some Good Movies. Some Bad. But this is the place where Dreams Go and choke on their own screenwriting programs. Be wary. However - if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

The CEO David Zaslav made 250,000,000, a quarter of a billion dollars, last year. The profits are higher then ever, yet they won't pay writers a basic living wage. I'm an Executive Chef, so this only affects me as interfering with my entertainment, but as a person who believes in fair pay for hard work I am enraged at the arrogance of the CEO's like this entitled POS. I regularly cater for people like the CEO of Chase and many other banks. I will be letting them know what general people think of the heads of these studios spitting in the face of writers.

Warner Brothers Studios (Virtual Tour) since I can't return in person! Since I don't live nearby in California anymore and I'm not going to visit my relatives, I took the VIRTUAL tour. I recommend you do the same. My photos are screenshots I took during the virtual tour. These are of things that gave me the feel of being there. One photo is my poster from the James Dean movie I own. Another photo is a small sample of my Warner Brothers DVD's. In my mind my review of this virtual visit is not any different than Yelpers Virtual Events with reviews. It's not easy photographing while watching. I did the best I could. Regarding my relationship with Warner Brothers Studios, I lived in California at one time. Take my word for it I've been here. Before when I visited my family in California all the movie and music locations were my destination! Here's a tip; take a Virtual Tour! I'm taking virtual tours now of all the studios from the safety of my home. There isn't enough room nor do I have the desire to list all of the many Warner Brothers film, television and recordings that I love and have enjoyed over the past 70 years! I own digital copies of so many it's in the 1,000's of gigabytes. Recently they have been showing the Looney Tune and Merry Melodies Cartoons on the channel I watch. That's another huge portfolio of enjoyment owned by Warner Brothers. It's my understanding that at this time In Person Studio Tours have been halted due to the Covid Pandemic. I guess I'm not missing anything. I still have the fruits of WB's labor to keep me entertained daily. I can still enjoy a virtual tour. Warner Brothers makes doing that easy online. Their guides are knowledgeable and smiling to brighten my day.

While working I thought about how many people's dreams come true here at Warner Bros Studios. As I was styling a female actress's hair who has come from Guadalajara, Mexico. I ask what is your actor's story. The challenge she said is a thick Mexican accent, and she doesn't read English very well. She had bought a one-way ticket to Los Angeles just before the lockdown to make it as an actor. I asked her, then what did you do? She said she was determined to make it so she practiced her English with her aunt and watched American tv shows during the lockdown. For her, there was no going back. A year and a half later here she is accent and all as a cast member of a Hollywood TV Show. And at the studio, she had dreamed of all her life. She said it's been surreal I loved her story and spirit. The moral of the story - Don't Quit - Keep Dreaming - You could end up at Warner Bros. Peace/love Be A Proud American

Warner Brothers Studios will always be a special studio to me. WB is the first studio lot I visited fresh out of college at 19 years old from the University of New Mexico. I interviewed for a job through a friend of a friend. It was the worst interview of my life. I remember being so nervous. The Producer was a really nice guy - I knew he wanted to help me, but I froze. I left the interview, disappointed thinking is Hollywood too big for me? I ended up walking around the entire lot in awe of my dream. As I walked around one corner, John Travolta stepped out of his trailer. When our eyes met, I could have sworn, I said out loud," OH MY GOD, John Travolta," or was I screening that in my head? He looked at me, smiled, nodded, and went back inside. At that moment, I vow never to blow another opportunity, and I was determined to work at WB. Thank you, JT - over the past 20 years, I work on many WB shows and films. As far as blowing the interview, it never happened again... Part 2 coming soon
