My prayers have been answered.

How Do Built-in Bra Dresses Work?

Built-in bra dresses work by including a second panel of fabric behind the chest that has some form of bra or bralette. And, they are usually wireless There are a few different variations of built-in bras. In general, there are shelf bras, shelf bras with removable cups, and built-in bras with non-removable cups.

Shelf bras are most like bralettes. They’re usually a second panel of fabric at the bust with an elastic band to keep your chest in place. Shelf bras with removable cups have slits just under the armpit so that you can keep the molded cups where they are, or you can slide them out entirely. Built-in bras with non-removable cups essentially sew molded cups – like the ones you’d find on a t-shirt bra – to a secondary fabric panel at the bust.

  Regular Adjustability: all other styles have built-in stretch to accommodate the natural range of where a women’s bust sits on their torso.  All our bras are custom designed for each dress and top we make and are sized in ½ sizes to provide the best fit possible.

Bra Band fit : all our bras are made of 4 way stretch nylon/spandex jersey which stretches up to 3 inches in all directions – so no matter if what your shape - wider and thinner or narrower and thicker (we love thick girls!!) we stretch with you.

Can I wash this with my other clothes?

YES! You can wash in cold water and lay out flat to dry. Bra pad can be taken out or left during the wash.

Can I remove/access the bra pads?

Yes! The bra pads can be removed. You can access the pads via the slits in the front upper corner of the built-in bra – by the arm hole. The pads can also be replaced by a prosthesis.

I love this dress so much. I wear a 36d so strapless bras and thin strappy dresses and I don't go together. Cue the Savannah dress. So comfortable. Beautiful material. Side slits. Great support with the built in bra. I had so many compliments the night I wore this. I'm 5'6 and wore it with flats. If you are shorter, you could definitely wear this dress with wedges. It isn't super fitted and very flattering. Order your normal shebird size in this one.

Hi Diane, Please do not iron the dress!! It will damage the fabric! The fabric does arrive wrinkled, but using a steamer or washing it and hanging it to dry will eliminate them.

I am usually a 6 in she bird ( but 5 on their size chart ) and I had to return for a 5. The green is gorgeous and the dress is super flattering. Love !
